비관리 해변의 해안 쓰레기 모니터링을 위한 RT-DETR 적용 방안 연구 (Study on the Application of RT-DETR to Monitoring of Coastal Debris on Unmanaged Coasts)

  • 한정된 정점과 인력 기반의 조사로 실제 국내 표착되는 해안 쓰레기의 총용량 추정이 어려운 우리나라의 해안 쓰레기 모니터링 방식 개선을 위해 비관리 해변에서 UAV(: Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) 이미지와 RT-DETR 모델을 기반으로 해안 쓰레기 탐지하고 현장 조사와의 비교 연구로 해안 쓰레기의 정량적 탐지 및 자연 해안선 기준 우리나라에 표착되는 전체 쓰레기 총용량 추정 가능성을 제시하였다. RT-DETR(: Realtime DEtection TRansformer) 모델 학습 결과 mAP@0.5는 0.894, mAP@0.5:0.95는 0.693의 정확도를 보였다. 모델을 비관리 해변에 적용한 전체 해안 쓰레기 개수에 대한 정확도는 72.9%로 나타났다. 본 연구와 비관리 해변에 대한 모니터링을 정의하는 관리지침 마련 연구가 동반된다면 우리나라에 표착되는 전체 해안 쓰레기의 총 용량 추정이 가능할 것으로 기대된다.

농업용 방제 드론을 이용한 균일 방제에 관한 실험적 검증 (Study on Experimental Verification of Uniform Control using Agricultural Drone)

  • 본 논문에서는 농업용 방제 드론을 이용하여, 균일 방제를 통해 병해충에 농작물을 방지하고자 한다. 방제가 수행되는 비행 고도는 4 m 로 고정하고, 비행 속도 4-5 m/sec. 범위에서 실험을 수행하였다. 방제사의 조종 습관 및 방법, 바람의 영향과 같이 환경적 요인이 작용하여 정량화된 방제 작업이 어렵다. 실험은 10 m 농지에서 감수지를 한 열에 1.25 m 간격으로 7 장씩 5 열을 10 m 간격으로 배치하고, 제안된 항공 살포 시스템을 적용하여 살포 실험을 수행하였다. 분사 노즐 중심으로 좌우측 약 3.75 m 지점에서부터 분사된 입자가 감소하기 시작하였다. 입자의 개수에 따라 유효 살포 폭은 약 7.5 m 영역으로 관찰되었으며, 제안된 살포 시스템이 균일 방제에 효과가 있음을 실험적으로 검증하였다.

  • This paper describes development of automatic flight control system for an unmanned target drone which is operated by Korean army as for anti-air gun shooting training. Current target drone is operated by pilot control of on-board servo motor via remote control system. Automatic flight control system for the target drone greatly reduces work load of ground pilot and can increase application area of the drone. Most UAVs being operated now days use high-priced sensors as AHRS and IMU to measure the attitude, but those are costly. This paper introduces the development of low-cost automatic flight control system with low-cost sensors. The integrated automatic flight control system has been developed by integrating combining power module, switching module, monitoring module and RC receiver as an one module. The performance of automatic flight control system is verified by flight test.

  • Decrease of the planting area reduced fertilized area of forest. To accomplish the aims of natural regeneration, mini-rotation plantation, diminishing the rotation length, maintaining healthy forest and production of good quality timber, forest fertilization should be continued. In order to improve the deteriorate situation, slow-release fertilizer applied on top soil needs to be developed and aerial application will give diminished cost. Fertilization with tending before tree felling in forest will increase the effect of fertilizer more, Proper quantity of fertilizer by tree species and soil fertility should be found out in the future, Street trees, environmental forest near city and ornamental trees in the residential areas could be also included in this field.

  • Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) is diversely utilized in our lives such as daily hobbies, specialized video image taking and disaster prevention activities. New ways of UAV application have been explored recently such as UAV-based delivery. However, most UAV systems are being utilized in a passive form such as real-time video image monitoring, filmed image ground analysis and storage. For more proactive UAV utilization, there should be higher-performance UAV and large-capacity memory than those presently utilized. Against this backdrop, this study described the general matters on proactive software platform and high-performance UAV hardware for real-time target tracking; implemented research on its design and implementation, and described its implementation method. Moreover, in its established platform, this study measured and analyzed the core-specific CPU consumption.

  • As NGIS project has been implemented in 1995 and effectiveness of spatial information increased, Digital maps serve several purpose in administrative, living, and industrial fields. But, Digital maps have many differences with real world information and difficulties in application of managing urban facilities due to high update cost and long generation period. In this study, We suggest methodology to update a building layer of digital map in urban area as regenerating a building layer by detection of changed buildings in the existing digital map anf extraction using LIDAR data and Aerial images, more easier to acquire data and available to guarantee accuracy. Experimental results are expected to applied for constructing 3D urban model in a broad expensive urban area.

  • 22.9kV 가공배전설비 진단방법으로 고주파, 초음파, 열화상, 광학, 활선기별점검이 대표적으로 적용되고 있다. 진단장비로 적출된 가공 배전설비는 광학진단이나 활선기별점검을 통해 기자재의 외관상태등을 최종적으로 확인한다. 활선기별점검은 고(高)비용이며 활선작업차(화석에너지), 활선자격, 다수인원이 필요하고 하천횡단, 장경간, 장척전주, 진입곤란개소 등은 진단점검이 곤란하며 광학진단은 기자재 상부를 진단 할 수 없다는 제약이 있다. 본 논문에서는 항공 원격제어 헬기를 통해 22.9kV 가공배전선로에 근접하여 기자재 상태 확인 방법을 최초로 적용하여 기존의 활선기별 점검 및 광학진단 점검의 문제점을 해소하는데 효과적이었으며, 비용절감과 안전확보, 기존방법에서 점검이 곤란한 사항도 해소는 물론 Green Energy정책에 기여할 수 있었다.

무인항공기 인증제도에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Certification System of the Unmanned Aircraft)

  • Nowadays, the demand of civil application of an UAV has been being increased all over the world. And many projects are going on to develop a new regulatory system for an UAV to access a national airspace. Especially, to fly UAV over the non-restricted airspace as a standard airworthiness standard, many authority funded research institutes and associations are studying regulatory environment. For the UAV to access civil airspace, the certification system of the aviation regulation have to allow this. FAA of US, CASA of Australia and European authorities are now issuing an experimental airworthiness certificate to a civil UAV. This is the first step of issuing a standard airworthiness certificate. And many people believe that civil UAV can fly over a NAS if some technical issues are resolved. In this study, I would like to present an international trends of a civil UAV regulation system, reliability trend of unmanned aerial system and would like to bring up a our regulatory environment and suggest an UAV regulatory policy.

Spectral Classification of Man-made Materials in Urban Area Using Hyperspectral Data

  • Hyperspectral data has a great advantage to classify various surface materials that are spectrally similar. In this study, we attempted to classify man-made materials in urban area using Hyperion data. Hyperion imagery of Seoul was initially processed to minimize radiometric distortions caused by sensor and atmosphere. Using color aerial photographs. we defined seven man-made surfaces (concrete, asphalt road. railroad, buildings, roof, soil, shadow) for the classification in Seoul. The hyperspectral data showed the potential to identify those manmade materials that were difficult to be classified by multispectral data. However. the classification of road and buildings was not quite satisfactory due to the relatively low spatial resolution of Hyperion image. Further, the low radiometric quality of Hyperion sensor was another limitation for the application in urban area.

  • The aim of this study is to evaluate the hazard of landslides at Penang, Malaysia, using a Geographic Information System (GIS) and remote sensing. Landslide locations were identified in the study area from interpretation of aerial photographs and from field surveys. Topographical and geological data and satellite images were collected, processed, and constructed into a spatial database using GIS and image processing. The factors chosen that influence landslide occurrence were: topographic slope, topographic aspect, topographic curvature and distance from drainage, all from the topographic database; lithology and distance from lineament, taken from the geologic database; land use from TM satellite images; and the vegetation index value from SPOT satellite images. Landslide hazardous area were analysed and mapped using the landslide-occurrence factors by logistic regression model. The results of the analysis were verified using the landslide location data and compared with probabilistic model. The validation results showed that the logistic regression model is better prediction accuracy than probabilistic model.
