가중이동평균법을 이용한 케이블TV 광고시장에 대한 예측모형 개발 (A Study on Forecasting Model based Weighted Moving Average for Cable TV Advertising Market)

  • Purpose This study suggests the development of forecasting model for local cable TV advertisement. In order to verify the expected effect of the suggestion, using the causal loop map of System Dynamics, the factors affecting the prospects of cable TV commercial market were divided into 5 groups. Then targeting 97 people involved in the cable TV commercial market in Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam, a survey was conducted on their perception of the current status of local advertisement market and future prospect. Design/methodology/approach The analysis of the collected data shows that workers in advertising and advertisers perceive the influence of cable TV as an advertising media to be high, while clearly understanding the problems of cable TV commercial market. Based on this the effects on the prospects of cable TV commercial market were analyzed and a forecasting method called Weighted Moving Average was applied. In order to improve accuracy of the added value of Weighted Moving Average, the 5 factors were divided into qualitative factors and quantitative factors, and using Multi-attribute Decision Making method, all the factors were normalized and weighting factors were deduced. The result of simulating the prospects of cable TV commercial market using Weighted Moving Average, both qualitative and quantitative factors showed downward turn in the market prospect for the following 10 years. Findings The result reflects generally negative perception of advertisement viewers about the prospects of cable TV commercial market. Compared to the previous studies on domestic cable TV commercials that focused on policy suggestions and surveys on perception of current status, this study has its significance in that it used scientific method and simulation for verification.

  • 우리는 365일, 버스와 지하철에서 편의점, 커피숍, 음식점, 그리고 엘리베이터 등 디지털 사이니지(Digital Signage)를 통해 나오는 영상 콘텐츠 및 수많은 정보 등을 접하고 있다. 하지만, 지금까지 디지털 사이니즈(Digital Signage)와 관련된 연구에 있어서는 디지털 사이니즈(Digital Signage)의 기술적인 효과 측면 또는 소비자 경험 측면에만 중점을 둔 연구가 진행되었으며, 해당 디지털 사이니즈(Digital Signage)의 티저(Teaser) 광고가 시청 의도에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구는 거의 전무하다시피 하였다. 이에 본 연구를 통해, 편의점의 디지털 사이니지(Digital Signage)가 소비자, 시청자들에게는 다양한 영상 콘텐츠 경험을 제공하고 소통이 가능한 차별화된 디지털 사이니지(Digital Signage)만의 영역으로서의 발전을 기대해 봄과 동시에 2020년, 전 세계적인 코로나19 사태 이후, 점차 비대면, 디지털 콘텐츠에 대한 수요가 늘어나고 있는 환경하에서 디지털 콘텐츠(영상)도 이제는 제품으로 인식하는 시대임을 보여주는 하나의 연구로서의 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

  • On the threshold of year 2000, the elderly account for more than 7% of the whole population in Korea, which means that the nation is greeting welcoming an aging society. Accordingly, it is expected that silver businesses and services targeted at the silver generation will prosper with "silver advertising design" becoming active. Under such circumstances, this study was aimed at reviewing the recent silver marketing advertisements in terms of their cultural and moral implications, and thereby, redefining and reestablishing the status of silver consumers to help them find their identity, aware of marketing activities and therewith, establish their "consumer sovereignty". This study consists in large of 5 chapters. The introduction parr describes background, purpose, method and scope of the study. The first chapter reviews the silver marketing theories. The second chapter classifies the silver marketing advertisement positioning of four style - upper classes style, effloresce progress style, self- sufficiency style, dependent style - and reviews the expression strategy of each positioning. The third chapter examines the domestic conditions of silver marketing advertisements for each positioning type classified. The fourth chapter designs the ′creative′of silver marketing advertisements and suggests the methods thereof. The analysis of ′creative′was tested in terms of graphic gestaltung, and how the sliver marketing advertisement positioning should be discerned depending on silver generation consumer′s characteristics was discussed. The fifth chapter puts forwards the suggestions for the ′creative′ strategies to enhance the effects of the silver marketing advertisements, based on the preceding discussions. In addition, the Perspective into the keyword of 21 st century or "silver design" is discussed, together with the limitations of this study. It is hoped that this stuffy will be conducive to our efforts to face the upcoming′age\ulcorner society′more effectively. To this end, this study discusses the "silver advertising design" in light of ′societal concepts′and ′customer-oriented value′, and thus, explores some creative presentation strategies whereby individual companies interests and social or public interests can be compromised through ′creative activities′ and ′equal-value consumerism′ for an ultimately effective management strategies for silver businesses and services.

  • 빅데이터가 화두가 되면서, 그 대표적인 예인 SNS을 이용한 서비스 개발도 활기를 띠고 있다. SNS는 기존 매체와는 다르게 실시간으로 의견을주고받는 하나의 장으로 확장되었고, 다양하고 많은 개인들의 의견을 분석하고자 하는 서비스들도 늘어나고 있다. 한편, 매체가 다양화되면서, TV광고계에서도 광고에 대한 의견의 확보와 분석에 새로운 접근방법이 필요해졌다. 이에 본 연구에서는 TV광고의 효과를 트위터 데이터를 기반으로 분석하며 특히 하둡을 이용하여 트위터 데이터와 같은 빅데이터를 저장 및 분석하도록 하는 LiveAD라는 시스템을 설계 및 구축하여, 트위터를 대상으로 TV광고 분석을 빠르게 수행할 수 있음을 보여주었다.

OTT(Over The Top) 서비스 플랫폼에서 디지털 콘텐츠마케팅 효과 연구: 간접광고 유형을 중심으로 (A study on the effects of digital content marketing in OTT (Over The Top) service platform: focusing on indirect advertising types)

  • 본 연구는 OTT(Over the Top) 서비스 상에 노출되는 간접광고의 유형에 따른 효과를 실험연구를 통해 실증적으로 검증하였다. 이를 위해 지상파채널에 실제 방영되었던 간접광고를 3가지 유형의 실험 자극물로 구성하여 실험 참가자를 대상으로 시선추적 장비를 이용해 데이터를 수집하였다. 또한 시청한 간접광고에 대한 광고태도, 브랜드 태도, 구매의도를 알아보기 위해 설문조사를 실시하였다. 연구결과 응시시간과 응시횟수 모두 맥락적 PPL, 단순노출 PPL, 일반협찬 PPL순으로 차이가 있음을 밝혀졌으며, 맥락적 PPL과 단순노출 PPL은 브랜드 태도 및 구매의도가 통계적으로 유의미한 것으로 분석되었다. 일반협찬 PPL은 단순회귀분석결과, 광고태도와 브랜드 태도, 구매의도가 통계적으로 유의미하지 않은 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 OTT서비스에서 간접광고의 가능성과 OTT서비스를 통하여 마케팅을 펼치려는 기업에게 보다 효과적인 간접광고의 전략적 기준을 제시하는데 그 목적이 있다.

캐릭터 웹드라마 요약 분석을 통한 간접광고 제품 추천 시스템 개발 (Recommendation System Development of Indirect Advertising Product through Summary Analysis of Character Web Drama)

  • 본 논문은 캐릭터 웹드라마에 적합한 간접광고 제품을 추천하는 인공지능(AI) 시스템 알고리즘 개발에 관한 연구이다. 본 연구는 웹드라마의 대사 작성에 있어 그에 어울리는 간접광고 제품을 추천함으로써 시청자의 콘텐츠 몰입도를 높이고, 드라마의 스토리를 보다 깊게 이해하는 데 도움을 주는 것을 목표로 한다. 본 연구에서는 자연어처리 모델 인 GPT를 활용하여 대사, 줄거리를 분석하고, 분석 결과를 바탕으로 소품형, 배경형 등 두 가지 유형의 간접광고 제품 추천 시스템을 개발한다. 이를 통해 웹드라마의 스토리에 부합하는 제품을 적절히 배치함으로써 간접광고가 자연스럽게 노출될 수 있도록 하고, 그로 인해 시청자들의 몰입도가 증가하며, 상품 홍보의 효과 또한 높인다. 숨겨진 뜻이나 문화적 뉘앙스를 완벽하게 이해하기 어려운 인공지능 모델의 한계와 학습에 필요한 충분한 데이터 확보가 어렵다는 한계가 있다. 그러나 본 연구는 AI가 창작물 제작에 어떻게 기여할 수 있는지에 대한 새로운 인사이트를 제공하고, 창의적 산업 분야에서 자연어 처리 모델의 활용 가능성을 넓히는 중요한 발판이 될 것이다.

An Empirical Encounter of Cultural Orientation and Cultivation Theory: Factors of Perception of Materialistic Realities and Dealing with Materialism of University Students in South Korea

  • The purpose of this study is to explore whether the perceptions of materialistic realities of South Korean university students can be explained by individual experience and media use. We examined: 1) relative consequences of awareness of discrimination experience and amounts of time spent on genre-specific media on perceptions of materialistic realities, 2) whether cultural orientation (allocentrism, self-monitoring, and masculinity) influences explanatory factors of awareness of discrimination experience, 3) conditions of countervailing responses to materialistic reality. As a result of analyzing the online survey data of 330 university students in Seoul, the amount of time spent on the beauty or fashion genre and awareness of discrimination experience explained the perceptions of materialist reality in Korean society. Although the perceptions that affected the accommodative response did not affect countervailing response, innovativeness had an interaction effect with perceptions of materialist reality in only countervailing response. Finally, the implications of these findings were discussed.

Antecedents and Consequences of Consumer Engagement in Social Media

  • This study investigates perceived social presence, perceived interactivity, perceived enjoyment, and perceived trust as antecedents of consumer engagement. We measured the attitudinal and behavioral brand loyalty as consequences of consumer engagement in social media. Our findings suggest that perceptions of social presence, enjoyment, and trust are significantly related to consumer engagement. Conversely, perceived interactivity has no positive influence on consumer engagement. In addition, consumer engagement is found to have a significant impact on both attitudinal and behavioral brand loyalty. The study revealed that, in the modified model, covariance paths among the proposed antecedents of consumer engagement (namely the perceived social presence, interactivity, enjoyment, and trust) are statistically significant. In this paper, we also discuss limitations of the study and future research.

Predicting Information Self-Disclosure on Facebook: The Interplay Between Concern for Privacy and Need for Uniqueness

  • This study examined the overall relationship between information privacy concern, need for uniqueness (NFU), and disclosure behavior to explain the personal factors that drive data-sharing on Facebook. The results of an online survey conducted with 222 Facebook users show that among diverse data that social media users disclose online, four distinct factors are identified: basic personal data, private data, personal opinions, and personal photos. In general, there is a negative relationship between privacy concern and a positive relationship between the NFU and the willingness to self-disclose information. Overall, the NFU was a better predictor of willingness to disclose information than privacy concern, gender, or age. While privacy concern has been identified as an influential factor when users evaluate social networking sites, the findings of this study contribute to the literature by demonstrating that an individual's need to manifest individualization on social media overrides privacy concerns.

Consumer Engagement in Online Anti-BrandCommunities

  • In a backlash against corporate branding and capitalism, a growing number of consumers are resisting current marketplace practices and big corporate brands. One particular form of this phenomenon is the emergence of anti-brand communities in social media. The current study, which surveyed a sample of 251 anti-brand community members on Facebook, provides a preliminary understanding of the characteristics and antecedents of anti-brand communities as a new platform for consumer empowerment and anti-brand activism. Findings suggest that consumers' engagement in online anti-brand communities, especially through social media, may be triggered by their negative experiences with employees, product quality, post-purchase service, and value/price. They are motivated, the results show, by seven primary factors: altruism, revenge, advice seeking, convenience, sympathy seeking, socialization, and the need to vent.
