아웃렛의 점포선택속성이 소비감정, 관계품질, 충성도에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Store Characteristics of Outlet on Consumption Emotion, Relationship Quality, and Loyalty)

  • This study is to examine the structural relationships among store choice attributes, consumption emotion, relationship quality, and loyalty of Outlet. The data were collected from customers who have purchased clothing at the fashion outlet stores, For data analysis and structural equation model were analyzed by using LISREL. The subjects were male/female consumer experienced in purchasing clothes at fashion outlet stores. The results of this study are as follows: First, product, advertising, and instore atmostphere had significantly positive effect on consumption emotion. Second, consumption emotion had significantly positive effect on relationship quality(consumer's satisfaction and trust) and loyalty. Third, relationship quality(consumer's satisfaction and trust) had significantly positive effect on loyalty.

Multimodal Discourse: A Visual Design Analysis of Two Advertising Images

  • The area of discourse analysis has long neglected the value of images as a semiotic resource in communication. This paper suggests that like language, images are rich in meaning potential and are governed by visual grammar structures which can be utilized to decode the meanings of images. Employing a theoretical framework in visual communication, two digital images are examined for their representational and interactive dimensions and the dimensions' relation to the magazine advertisement genre. The results show that the framework identified narrative and conceptual processes, relations between participants and viewers, and symbolic attributes of the images, which all contribute to the sociological interpretations of the images. The identities and relationships between viewers and participants suggested in the images signify desirable qualities that may be associated to the product of the advertiser. The findings support the theory of visual grammar and highlight the potential of images to convey multi-layered meanings.

Mixed Products: How Adding Different Attributes Influences Consumer Perceptions and Product Evaluation

  • During recent decades, the number of mixed attribute products (henceforth mixed products), which have both utilitarian and hedonic benefits, has increased dramatically. Despite these products' growing popularity, academic research has paid little attention to them, and there remains a gap between theory and the real world. Hence, our study was undertaken to understand consumers' perceptions about and behaviors toward mixed products, as well as factors affecting the evaluation and choice of these products. We divided mixed attribute products into two categories: mixed utilitarian products (utilitarian products adding hedonic attributes) and mixed hedonic products (hedonic products adding utilitarian attributes). We then showed how adding different attributes affects consumers' perception, willingness to pay (WTP), and the choice of mixed attribute products compared to pure utilitarian or pure hedonic products. We conducted an experiment using a within-subject design. A total of 160 office workers and college students participated in the study. The pure utilitarian product used in the study was orange juice, and the mixed utilitarian product was carbonated orange juice. The pure hedonic product was chocolate, and the mixed hedonic product was polyphenol enriched chocolate. Results showed that consumers perceived a mixed utilitarian product to be less utilitarian, less pleasurable and more guilty than a pure utilitarian product. On the other hand, a mixed hedonic product was perceived to be more utilitarian, less pleasurable and less guilty than a pure hedonic product. Also, WTP for a mixed hedonic product was higher than WTP for a pure hedonic product, but WTP was lower for a mixed utilitarian product than for a pure utilitarian product. Furthermore, mixed hedonic products were likely to be evaluated more favorably when they were presented together with pure hedonic products, more so than when they were presented alone. Finally, when compared to low self-control participants, high self-control participants chose mixed hedonic products more frequently. The present study contributes to the existing literature on utilitarian and hedonic consumption by adding to the sparse literature on the consumption of products that have both utilitarian and hedonic purposes. Also, our research findings provide several useful implications for practitioners in related fields. First, the current study provides marketers with a useful guide for understanding consumers' perceptions of these types of products, and helps to predict how adding different attributes influences these products. Second, this study has examined the conditions that may moderate the evaluation and choice of hedonic base products and this finding will serve as a good reference for marketers of mixed hedonic products in marketing communication strategy, in-store marketing and targeting. Specifically, comparative advertising with a pure hedonic product will be beneficial for a mixed hedonic product. Also, displaying mixed hedonic products near pure hedonic products may enhance the effectiveness of in-store marketing of mixed hedonic products.

괘상원리에 기초한 도심재개발 경관의 이원관계의 해석 - 서울 공평구역을 사례로 - (An Interpretation of Dualistic Relationships in an Urban Renewal Landscape Based on the Iching Theory - the Case of Gongpyeong District in Seoul -)

  • This study tried to understand an ambiguous urban landscape through a relational context. Gongpyeong district, an urban renewal area in Seoul, was selected as the site of the case study because traditional and modern styles coexist in this district. The research method and processes are summarized as follows. First, the district, which has both a redeveloped environment and an inherent environment, was divided into Yin & Yang structures. Next, an effort was made to grasp the fundamental relational characteristics(external relationships) of each type through three aspects: physical environment, activities, and meaning. As a result, Yin characteristics were found in the redeveloped environment which has predominantly Yang characteristics. In many cases, advertising, which is a Yang element, was missing in the redeveloped area. On the other hand, in the inherent environment which has Yin characteristics in general, shabby appearances were evident in aspects beyond advertising, and Yang elements, were found from the viewpoint of the theory of place. On the basis of these results, new dualistic frameworks with respect to the functions were re-structured, and complementary characteristics (internal relationship) based on topological aspects were analyzed. Unlike the monotonous appearances found in large scale environments, a variety of spatial characteristics were found in the various small scale environments. This explains that the dualistic coexistence has made a contribution to the complementary attributes of urban landscape. This study has the following ramifications. Much research of urban landscapes that has used western methodology which employs analytic aspects. As a methodology of urban landscape research this study introduced Iching, which tries to understand phenomena in a relational context. In addition, this study expects that the profound understanding of urban environments and the detailed relationship through this framework will suggest a new approach to urban planning, design and management related to future urban environments.

페이스북 광고의 구성요인이 구전의도에 미치는 인과모형: 광고 적절성인식 매개효과 (A causal model of the influence of the constituents of Facebook advertisement on the WOM intension: Ad fitness mediation effect)

  • 본 연구는 페이스북 광고의 구성요인이 광고적절성 인식과 구전의도에 미치는 영향을 알아보았다. 부가적으로 광고 적절성 인식의 매개효과를 확인하였다. 이를 위해 페이스북 사용자를 대상으로 371개 자료를 수집하였다. 연구방법은 요인 분석과 공변량구조분석을 활용하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 페이스북 광고의 광고흥미성 속성은 광고적절성 인식과 구전의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 둘째, 페이스북 광고의 맞춤정보성 속성은 광고적절성 인식과 구전의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 주변인반응성 속성은 광고적절성 인식과 구전의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 넷째, 페이스북 광고적절성 인식은 구전 의도에 유의미한 영향을 미쳤다. 따라서 광고흥미성과 맞춤정보성 및 주변인반응성 속성은 완전매개효과를 나타냈다. 이러한 연구결과는 소비자들에게 페이스북 광고로서 정체감이 있는 광고와 효과적인 광고를 제작할 때 고려해야할 속성이 무엇인가에 대한 자료를 제공할 것이다.

Using Motivation of Short Video Advertising Marketing in China: An Exploratory Study of Douyin

  • 본 논문의 연구 목적은 이론과 실증 분석을 통해 중국 사용자의 라이브방송 구매 참여동기와 영향 요소를 연구하고, 사용자의 수요 변화를 파악하여 트랜드에 맞는 마케팅 전략을 수립하는 것이다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위해 중국 라이브방송 구매자 대상으로 설문조사를 실시해 필요한 데이터를 수집했다.실증 분석은 SPSS와 AMOS 분석 소프트웨어를 사용해 통계 분석, 신뢰성 및 유효성 분석, 구조 방정식 모델 분석을 수행하여 가설에 대해 검증하였다. 분석 결과를 보면 단편 동영상 업계의 핵심 경쟁력과 브랜드 개성이 사용자의 가치 인식에 반영되어 사용 동기에도 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 사용자의 라이브 쇼핑 참여는 맹목적인 순종이 아니며 능동적인 선택권이 있는 전자 상거래 속성을 더욱 강화하고 "허위 만족"을 없애야 정보가 효과적으로 전파될 수 있다. 브랜드측은 사용자의 구매 동기를 부여하기 위해 온라인 마케팅의 개성을 강화하고 사용자의 가치를 존중하는 것이 필요하다.

가상 인플루언서의 속성과 모방의도, 이용의도의 관계에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Relationship between Virtual influencer Attributes, Imitation Intention, and Usage Intention)

  • 본 연구는 최근 기업의 마케팅 활동에 활용 빈도가 증가하고 있으며, 소비자들에게 관심이 높은 가상 인플루언서의 효과에 대해 살펴보고자 하였다. 특히 제품이나 브랜드의 정보원으로서 가상 인플루언서의 속성이 소비자에게 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 가상 인플루언서의 지각된 매력성, 신뢰성과 전문성이 가상 인플루언서의 SNS 이용의도와 소비자의 모방의도에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 연구결과 가상 인플루언서의 속성 중 매력성이 이용의도에 정적인 영향을 미치며, 모방의도에는 매력성과 신뢰성이 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 모방의도는 이용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, SNS를 통해 소비자가 지각하는 가상 인플루언서의 매력성이 가장 중요한 속성이라 하겠다. 이러한 연구 결과는 가상 인플루언서를 마케팅에 활용할 때 기업은 정보원으로서의 속성과 더불어 SNS에 게시되는 콘텐츠를 통해 가상 인플루언서의 매력성을 지각하게 해야 한다는 것을 의미한다. 우리는 본 연구의 결과가 가상 인플루언서 활용을 고려하는 기업과 공공기관 등의 마케팅 활동에 주요한 시사점을 제공할 것을 기대한다.

약선 음식점 고객 특성에 따른 선택속성의 차이 분석 (Analysis of Differences in Selection Attributes according to the Characteristics of Customers of Medicinal Restaurants)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the development direction and strategy for medicines through analysis of differences in choice attributes according to customers awareness of medicines and experience. In order to achieve the purpose of this study, a questionnaire survey was conducted on dietary education among national network trainees and lecturers by the Ministry of Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Livestock in Daegu, Gyeongsan, and Ulsan, Seoul from December 5, 2016, respectively. First, factor analysis results showed that six factors were extracted with respect to the choice of the restaurant. Second, the difference in each factor according to the recognition and experience of medicinal herbs was the health related factor as sex, females, age 50~59 years, companion others, and publicity and advertising' factors were more important for publicity and advertisement when the gender was female, the customer's age was 40~49 years, the companion was other, and the time of use was during the weekend. Among the factors related to 'getting dressed', the more important gender was female, age 40~49 years, and the other partner, The factors related to 'time' were as follows: sex, age, age 20~29 years, no accompanying companions, no time of use, and time importance. The 'menu' factors were more important for men, gender, women, age 40~49 years, companion for guitar, and usage time for weekend dinner. The 'service' factors were more important in 'service' as sex, male age, age 20~29, companion family, usage time, and weekend dinner.

SNS 브랜드 성격이 모바일 네이티브 광고 태도에 미치는 영향 (How SNS Brand Personality Affect Mobile Native Ad Attitude)

  • 본 연구에서는 SNS 이용 소비자를 대상으로 SNS의 브랜드 성격 요인을 규명하고 이러한 SNS 브랜드 성격 요인이 SNS 내에서 접할 수 있는 모바일 네이티브 광고의 속성 인식에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 살펴보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 SNS 브랜드 성격과 모바일 네이티브 광고의 속성으로 정보성, 신뢰성, 오락성, 방해성, 상호작용성을 연구변수로 도입하여 연구모형을 제시하고 SNS 이용자를 대상으로 하여 설문조사를 수행하였다. 온라인 설문조사를 통해 최종 341부를 분석에 사용하였으며, 수집된 데이터는 SPSS 22.0과 AMOS 18.0을 통해 분석하였다. 분석결과에 의하면 SNS 브랜드 성격 요인으로 '성실', '열정', '매력', '실용', '공동체'의 5가지 성격이 도출되었다. 이 가운데 '성실', '열정', '공동체' 브랜드 성격이 대부분의 모바일 네이티브 광고 속성에 대해 긍정적 영향을 주지만 '실용' 브랜드 성격은 부정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 매력 브랜드 성격은 모바일 네이티브 광고 속성과 상관이 없는 브랜드 성격으로 나타났다. 또한 모바일 네이티브 광고 속성 가운데 정보성과 신뢰성이 광고태도에 긍정적 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다.

서울지역 고등학생들의 외식서비스 특성에 대한 중요인지도와 수행만족도 비교 (Importance-performance Analysis of High School Students in Seoul towards Restaurant Service Attributes)

  • The purpose of this study was to compare high-school students importance and performance toward restaurant service attributes for the marketing strategy development. Specific objectives were to: a) investigate restaurant patronage characteristics of high school students; b) identify the difference of patronage behavior among three types of restaurants; and c) analyze the importance and performance among three types of restaurants. A questionnaire was developed and hand-delivered to 400 students enrolled 9th grade in 4 different high schools in Seoul. A total of 320 students (80%) was responded to this study. The questionnaire was composed of two parts with 47 restaurant service attribute statements. Results of this study were as follows: 1. A total of 57% was female and 61% of respondents spent less than ₩5,000 per week on eating out. 2. The frequency of visiting the low-priced restaurant was 8.9 times per week. 3. Reasons for being a patronage to low- (${\geq}$₩2,000) and mid-priced ( <₩2,000 and ${\geq}$₩5,000) restaurants were hunger, appointment, and seeking favorites with freinds but the reason for high-priced (<₩5,000) restaurants was celebrating special days with parents. 4. The main source of information for selecting restaurants was family and friends, T.V. advertising, and bulletin board. 5. For the low-priced restaurants, food, hygiene, price, and location were rated as important; location, price, menu, and food were rated as satisfied. 6. For the mid-priced restaurants, hygiene, food, price, and menu were rated as important; food, hygiene, service, and menu were rated as satisfied. 7. For the high-priced restaurants, hygiene, food, and atmosphere were rated as important; food, hygiene, atmosphere, and menu were as satisfied. 8. According to paired t-test, the score gap between importance and performance was the highest in the hygiene attribute; differences were high with the low-priced and low with high-priced restaurants.
