Development of Alternation Energy Using Stock Raising Excretion (축산분뇨를 이용한 대체에너지 공정 개발)

  • Recently, environmental pollution by livestock excretion is gathering strength as livestock industry is advanced on a large scale. Bio-gas is generated more than about 70 precent if remove impurities in the course of extracting bio-gas to use livestock excretion. In this paper, we developed a device that can use it in heating after extracting bio-gas from livestock excretion collected in livestock farmhouse and can supply electricity by using generator developed in itself. Also, because this system is epoch-making no discharge system to solve smear of existing method, it is expected that we have effects to prevent environmental pollution and get alternation energy and burden on the institution to treat livestock excretion of a pig breeder is solved, if use it.

  • Extramammary Paget disease (EMPD) is a rare disease, especially in Asian populations. Surgical resection is considered the primary treatment option. Recently, radiotherapy has been suggested as an EMPD treatment, either as an alternative to surgical resection or in combination with surgical resection. This report reviewed a patient with EMPD who was treated with wide excision of the EMPD site followed by radiotherapy for remaining gross lymph node metastases. The aim of this report was to determine the optimal treatment for advanced EMPD.

  • The increase of vehicles stagnations leads to the increasing attention to the way customers pay and a large number of projects on electronic cash system. Tranport system is comprised of a number of advanced technologies, including information processing, communications, control, and electronics. Recently many research on a system which provides contact in order to protect driver's vehicle passage have been carried out. And some potential problems from that system are being reviewed by electronic cash system. In this papers, we suggest RF protocol developing technology using the concept of electronic cash. ATM electronic cash developing is consist of component of pre-developed coin throw, Integration of component using its, and production of more requirement-satisfactory ITS solution. Result increase 15∼40% pre-type vehicles stagnations. Especially, we expect this proposed concept would be well adapted to our national environments.

  • The wear becomes the most complicated cause of making various machineries short lives. In the studies by many scholors so far, the accurate and perfect methods to eliminate it completely are not found yet owing to many affected factors. On this view point of Depositional Wear, the wear test with seven different specimens from the part of frequent usage of which are carbon steel, nickel, copper, aluminum, zinc, lead and tin was attempted to make clear the relation between the wear of different metals and their melting point, crystal structure, sliding speed, load and lattice factors. The results of this study are summerized as follows; 1) Worn amount of each metal is maximum when each metal is same quality. 2) The easier becomes the the formation of solid solution in the course of friction proceeding, the more it results in worn amount of each metal. 3) The samer is each metal in crystal structure as well as lattice factor, the more it results in worn amount of each metal. These results might be of use in designing machineries, selecting materials and operating machineries.

  • The Local Agenda21 is an action program of local dimension to realize of sustainable development. The citizen participation is prime issues and very important f3r successful practice of the Local Agenda21. The purpose of this research is to analyze the citizen participation problem and to suggest the improvement plan at the advanced course of the Local Agenda21. The research results are as follows; 1. The recognize of citizen about the Local Agenda21 is very low. Namely, the citizen of about 50% answered not to know about the Local Agenda21, 2. However, citizens showed the participation opinion to be very active by simple explanation about the Local Agenda21. 3. Also, citizens showed the result to be very affirmative in the environment problem consciousness investigation. Namely, citizens were recognizing the environment problem as the problem of the society synergic.

  • The "stamp rally" is an event that participants go the round with predetermined points for the purpose of collecting stamps. They bring the stamp card to these points. They, however, sometimes leave or lose the card. In this case, they may not reach the final destination of the stamp rally. The purpose of this research is the construction of the stamp rally system which distinguishes each participant with his or her hand instead of the stamp card. We have realized our method distinguishing a hand posture by the image processing. We have also evaluated it by 30 examinees. Furthermore, we have designed the data communication between the server and the checkpoint to implement our whole system. We have also designed and implemented the process for the registering participant, the passing checkpoint and the administration.

  • When an object or objects, rigid or flexible, presents in incident sound field, the sound wave is scattered. This, we call, is scattered sound field. It, of course, depends on the amplitude and the direction of the incident sound field as well as the geometry and the surface impedance of the scatterer(object). This paper addresses the way to measure scattered sound field by using arbitrary incident sound wave. This means that the method can decompose the scattered field from measured sound field with respect to any magnitudes and directions of incident plane-waves.

  • Continuous epidural block can be useful in the management of acute and chronic pain. For the most effective analgesia, it is important to localize the tip of epidural catheter and the spread of radiopaque dye. Epidural catheterization was performed in 12 patients on the sitting position. Catheters were advanced by 10 cm cephalad in the cervical epidural space by median approach and radiopaque dye 3 ml was injected through the catheters. The position of cervical epidural catheters and the spread of dye was confirmed by radiography. The course of epidural catheter were: coiled 3/12 (25%), loop 2/12 (16.7%), straight 2/12 (16.7%). In 8 cases, the tip of epidural catheters were located within one vertebral segment from the level of insertion site. Radiopaque dye spreaded average 3.68 vertebral segment to cranially and 1.67 vertebral segment to caudally from the insertion site.

  • This paper was written to present the recent trend of juvenile delinquency within the context of family system and to provide the role and tasks of Family Science in the area of Probation and Parole System in Korea. Since Family Science provides knowledges and skills to help for both adolescents and their families by improving interactional functions, the role of Family Science was focusing more on comprehensive and integrated perspectives. The tasks of Family Science, especially, in family life education, family therapy, and family policy, were as follows: 1) to prevent recurrence of misbehavior by family life education. 2) to draw the cooperation with the judicial system. 3) to provide the advanced course for volunteers. 4) to perform crime prevention education for normal adolescents. 5) to join the official education for civil service personnel. 6) to manage group-homes after the completion of the probation period.
