A Study on the Vibration Analysis of Linear Stepping Motor using FEM and ACSL (유한요소법과 ACSL을 이용한 Linear Stepping Motor의 진동해석에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, the vibration characteristics of a linear stepping motor(LSM) are analyzed using the ACSL. A magnetic equivalent circuit is based on the structure of the LSM, and then the electric equivalent circuit of the LSM is derived by solving equations for the magnetic equivalent circuit. A normal force is calculated using finite element method(FEM). And the vibration characteristics(continuous vibration) of the LSM are simulated by the ACSL(Advanced Continuous Simulation language) with the voltage equations, the thrust equation, the normal force equation and the kinetic equation.

  • As the modern industrial processes become more complex, it is getting more difficult to model and control the processes. Naturally, an advanced type of DCS(Distributed Control System) with higher level functions is being sought. Advanced DCS is a DCS with advanced functions such as fault diagnosis, GPC(Generalized Predictive Control), NN(Neural Network), and Fuzzy Control. In this thesis, we have studied a fuzzy control algorithm for realizing an advanced DCS. Its algorithm is implemented in a form of function code which is a process control language, being used by the industrial engineers. To verify the realized function code of the fuzzy control, the function code is applied to a continuous casting process of the Pohang Iron & Steel Works in Kwangyang. The rules of the fuzzy control were collected via interviews of the field operators and their operation documents. Finally under a real-time operating system environment, usability of the function code of the fuzzy control is shown via simulation for the continuous casting process.

  • In this paper new control strategy of series resonant converter system for power supply of communication station is suggested. Frequency controlled series resonant converter system is robust to load variations because it is POSR(Parallel Output Series Resonant: POSR) type. And it provides stable output voltage by changing switching frequency to input voltage variations. Firstly, operation analysis about suggested series resonant converter system was carried. Then simulations using ACSL(Advanced Continuous Simulation Langage) and experiments to actual system were carried to prove characteristics of suggested system.

  • A controller of interconnected power systems is investigated using an optimal multidimensional variable structure control. The switching hyperplane of the variable structure stabilizer is obtained by minimizing a quadratic performance index in continuous-time. A special feature of the optimal multidimensional variable structure stabilizer is that, when it is operated in the so-called sliding mode, the system response becomes insensitive to changes in the plant parameters. A digital simulation is performed by a digital computer using the Advanced Continuous Simulation Language (ACSL) package, which shows that the dynamic performance of the power system in response to mechanical torque changes is improved when optimal multidimensional variable sturcture stabilizers are employed.

  • 본 논문에서는 제어용 전원으로 사용할수 있는 주파수 제어 직렬 공진형 컨버터의 동작 원리 및 특성을 살펴보고 실제의 제어용 전원을 설계 및 제작하려고 한다. 고성능의 SMPS 제작을 위한 공진형 컨버터 회로를 구성하고 실제 시스템 제작에 앞서 먼저 시뮬레이션을 통한 시스템의 분석을 하였다. 시뮬레이션 프로그램은 ACSL(Advanced Continuous Simulation Language)을 사용하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 통신 기지국용 전원으로 사용할 수 있는 주파수 제어 직렬 공진형 컨버터의 동작 원리 및 특성을 살펴보고 실제의 전원 시스템을 설계 및 제작하려고 한다. 주파수 제어 공진형 컨버터 시스템은 POSR(Parallel Output Series Resonant) 형태이기 때문에 부하에 강인하고 주파수를 제어함으로써 입력전압의 변화에도 안정된 출력을 보여준다. 실제 시스템 제작에 앞서 먼저 시뮬레이션을 통한 시스템의 분석을 하였고 시뮬레이션 프로그램은 ACSL(Advanced Continuous Simulation Language)을 사용하였다.

  • To get the time response characteristics of the hydrostatic transmission, seaborne winch is modelde by using bond graphs. After modeling of its basic elements, it is represented as power flow, and the determination of variable causality. The state equations are derived by using CAMP. As dynamic stabilites and solutions are investigated by perturbation method and direct integration, winch system is stable. Simulations are performed under the conditions of low speed, high speed, and maximum tension. The pressure and flow rate of the hydrostatic transmission have a big overshoot. But when it is comparaed to the empirical data with simulation results, it is similar to each other. When a lead compensator is applied to improve response characteristics of the hydrostatic transmission, rise time and overshoot of the system are improved.

  • The complex sensorless control scheme is not practical for use in the field of home appliance systems because it is not economical. Therefore, it is necessary to introduce a simplified sensorless control scheme that is composed of least calculation to estimate the rotor position. This paper presents the principle of the rotor position estimation with comparison of the estimated flux linkage and reference flux linkage. In order to verify the feasibility of the control scheme, ACSL is used for the simulation and TI DSP TMS320F240 is used for the experiment.
