Analyses of Characteristics of U-Healthcare System Based on Wireless Communication

  • The medical industries are integrated with information technology with mobile devices and wireless communication. The advent of mobile healthcare systems can benefit patients and hospitals, by not only providing better quality of patient care, but also by reducing administrative and medical costs for both patients and hospitals. Security issues present an interesting research topic in wireless and pervasive healthcare networks. As information technology is developed, many organizations such as government agencies, public institutions, and corporations have employed an information system to enhance the efficiency of their work processes. For the past few years, healthcare organizations throughout the world have been adopting health information systems (HIS) based on the wireless network infrastructure. As a part of the wireless network, a mobile agent has been employed at a large scale in hospitals due to its outstanding mobility. Several vulnerabilities and security requirements related to mobile devices should be considered in implementing mobile services in the hospital environment. Secure authentication and protocols with a mobile agent for applying ubiquitous sensor networks in a healthcare system environment is proposed and analyzed in this paper.

공공도서관 행정체계 일원화에 대한 고찰 (A Study on the Unified Policy of the Public Library Administrative System in Korea)

  • 21세기는 지식정보화의 시대이자 교육과 문화의 세기이다. 이러한 시대적 흐름의 중심에 있는 공공도서관의 중요성은 아무리 강조해도 지나치지 않다. 공공도서관은 창조경제와 문화융성을 위한 베이스캠프로서 학문과 문화의 저수지이다. 최근 이러한 공공도서관이 도서관 관련 법규도 준수하지 못하는 열악한 상태에서 행정체계 일원화 추진과 함께 도서관계의 큰 이슈로 대두되면서 많은 문제점을 야기하고 있다. 따라서 이 연구에서는 공공도서관의 행정체계 일원화 추진에 대한 제반 주장과 문제점을 분석하여 개선 방안을 제시하는데 연구의 목적을 두었다. 이를 위해 첫째, 공공도서관 일원화 논의의 전개과정을 고찰하였고, 둘째, 공공도서관 일원화의 쟁점과 문제점을 살펴보았으며, 셋째, 공공도서관 일원화 관련 개선방안을 마련하여 제시하였다.

행정정보 데이터세트 기록의 선별 기준 및 절차 연구 (A Study on Record Selection Strategy and Procedure in Dataset for Administrative Information)

  • 행정정보시스템은 계속 숫자가 증가하고 있음에도 불구하고 기록관리의 사각지대에 있어서 시스템이 노후화되거나 새로 개발되는 경우 기록이 손실될 위험을 내포하고 있다. 또한 기록관리를 염두에 두지 않고 설계되었기 때문에 기록의 특성과 요건을 만족하지 않은 상태로 관리되고 있다. 기록관리 선진국에서는 정부차원에서 데이터세트 기록의 중요성을 인지하여 데이터세트 아카이브를 운영하는 사례도 있고, 보존을 위한 관리체계나 보존포맷에 대한 프로젝트를 수행한 사례도 있다. 우리나라도 데이터세트에 대한 기록관리 체제와 개별 행정정보시스템에 대한 연구가 조금씩 수행되고 있으나 공식적인 관리 체계가 수립되지는 않은 상태이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 방향성에 기본 하여 전자정부 추진 전략의 틀에서 데이터세트 식별체계의 수립과 기록관리기준의 설정 전략을 제안하였다. 행정정보시스템 기록화를 위한 데이터세트 선별 절차를 (1)기록화 대상 데이터세트 결정, (2)데이터세트 기록 건 식별 단계, (3)데이터세트 기록의 관리계층 구성 단계로 나누어 정리해보았다. 이 논문은 데이터세트에 대한 보존포맷이나 데이터세트 아카이브 단계에서의 관리절차 등 아카이빙 단계의 문제는 연구내용에 포함하지 않았다.

인구통계학적 특성, 리더십 및 조직유효성간의 관계와 조직문화의 매개효과분석 (Relationships Among Demographic Characteristics, Leadership, Organizational Culture, Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 지방행정조직에서 구성원들의 인구통계학적 특성이 이들의 직무만족과 조직몰입과 같은 조직유효성에 미치는 영향을 파악하고, 조직문화가 중간관리자의 리더십과 조직유효성 사이에서 매개적 역할을 하는지를 탐색적으로 실증 분석함으로써 지방행정조직에서 인적자원관리 및 조직 관리를 위한 발전적 시사점을 제시하는데 있다. 인구통계학적 특성의 차이를 조직문화와 리더십으로 구분하여 조직유효성에 미치는 영향을 분석한 결과, 리더십은 지적자극, 개별적 배려, 조건적 보상이 조직문화는 합리문화, 집단문화, 발전문화가 인구통계학적 특성에 따라 직무만족과 조직몰입에 유의하게 나타났다. 또한 조직문화의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 집단문화는 거래적 리더십의 예외관리와 조직유효성 변수인 직무만족과 조직몰입에서 완전매개효과를 나타내고 위계문화는 거래적 리더십의 조건적 보상과 조직유효성 변수인 직무만족과 조직몰입에서 매개효과가 없는 것으로 나타난 반면, 그 외의 조직문화 형태에서는 리더십과 조직유효성 사이에 부분매개효과를 나타내었다.

모기업과의 관계결속이 협력기업의 성과에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on How Relational Union with Mother Company Influence Outcome of Aligned Company)

  • This study is aiming to present administrative guiding principles and suggestions to find methods to improve and bring up the ethic code of business of aligned companies, by examining how the factors of union of relations depending on characteristics of business, influence outcome of aligned companies, under the circumstances where efforts to improve outcome of aligned company through dealing relation between a mother company and the aligned company. First of all, as a result of analyzing how the characteristics of business have an influence on the relational union, it is shown that characteristics of product, peculiar assets of business, and opportunistic dispositive factors have an influence on reliance and devotion which are relation uniting factors. Under the actively changing circumstances, in order that the manufacturing companies can have a competitiveness, it can be said that shortening of developing period of new products, reduction of manufacturing and operating cost, and improvement of quality and productivity are compulsory factors. This can be achieved by having close relations with aligned companies which provide with parts and materials. As a result of analyzing how relational uniting factors like reliance and devotion influence business outcome of aligned companies. it is found that both reliance and devotion influence administrative outcome, although it is shown that they do not influence economic results such as reduction of cost. Therefore, it can be said that the mutual cooperation is required to increase mutual reliance and devotion, since increase of reliance and devotion are compulsory factors for efficient development of companies where a mother company and the aligned companies coexist, since they ease uncertainty in dealings, and devise administrative outcome.

한국제조기업의 생산전략과 생산혁신활동 (Manufacturing strategy and change programs of Korean firms)

  • The purpose of this paper is to study the links between manufacturing strategy and change programs of manufacturing firms in Korea. The nature of our analysis is more descriptive than normative or confirmative. First, we investigate the linkage between manufacturing strategy, manufacturing capability, change programs and performance measurement systems. Secondly, we intend to explore an empirical typology of manufacturing strategy and change programs. The initial findings of the study are as follows: Linkage between manufacturing strategy and change programs of manufacturing firms was not apparent. Flexibility as a strategic priority is positively related to the innovative change programs. There are two distinctive strategies of manufacturing firms in Korea, namely, quality strategy and balanced strategy. We identified three types of change programs, which are incremental change, administrative innovation, and process innovation. Incremental change group has represented low factor score in the change program dimensions. The firms in administrative innovation group mainly depend on information systems and business reengineering. Korean manufacturing firms seem to pursue process improvement by trying simultaneously incremental change in the process, managerial process improvement, and a little bit of innovative change. Performance variable utilization of the firms are not significantly different along with manufacturing strategies and change programs. We found, however, learning and improvement performance dimension is significantly related to flexibility variables. Process innovation group marked high score in usage of learning and improvement indices. The findings of this study seem to have various implications on realigning the manufacturing strategy, change programs, and performance systems in Korean firms.

AHP를 이용한 정보보안 요소의 중요도 평가: 국방기관 정보시스템 외주개발 사례 (Assessing the Importance of Information Security Factors Using AHP: Case of Defense Agency's Outsourcing Development of Information Systems)

  • In this paper, we identify and evaluate the information security factors considered in outsourcing development of information systems for defense agency with analytic hierarchy process(AHP). To assess the information security elements, we prepared three groups including the experts of a defense agency, subcontractor managers and subcontractor practitioners who are involved in developing information systems. And the relative importance of security factors were analyzed using questionnaires and responses. As a result of analysis of 27 security factors, factors corresponding to human and physical security as a whole were evaluated as having higher importance. Although there are some differences in the ranking of some importance according to human roles, they can be positive for the implementation of complementary information security. And administrative security and technical security can be relatively insignificant considering that they can be considered as infrastructure of the overall information environment. The result of this paper will be helpful to recognize the difference of perception of information security factors among the persons in the organization where collaboration is activated and to prepare countermeasures against them.

병원행정의 정보화 전략특성에 관한 연구 (A Study of Informational Strategy Character of hospital Administration)

  • In today's hospital-management, information system and the information by it will be a necessary administrative materials of organization with man-power, funds, equipment and resources. This study is for figuring out steps to utilize information-system, an important strategy to grow the hospital applying to the change of surroundings, improving the service for patients, accelerating medical examination, improving it in quality and suggesting a basis be able to manage it effectively by putting information system in practice such as economic effect by shorting time and the effect of medical study by computerizing clinical data. And the result of it is as follows: From the Nolan's 6 step - model about the degree using information system in hospital-management, the 1st group of hospital-size came to 1st and 2nd step, the 2nd group to the 3rd and 4th step and the 3rd group to the 5th and 6th step, which correspond to the survey- results that information system increases with the size of the hospital to propagation, regulation and integration step and that the number of the hospital developing to the step managing information is increasing.

전문대학 정보화수준 평가시스템 연구 (Informatization Evaluation System Model for Colleges)

  • An informatization evaluation is becoming a major issue among vocational colleges, as the 21th century begins. This century is characterized as Knowledge and Information era. Thus it is popular for administrative organizations to use Information Technologies as major tool to innovate themselves. The main objective of this study is develop evaluation indexes on applications of information technologies for vocational colleges because they must operate their education services by using management principles. Four major indexes were recommended to evaluate their information environment of educational service as follows. 1. Strategic Information System 2. Environmental Factors of Information System 3. Informational Resources 4. Utilization of Information Technologies Each index has 4 variables to identify the level of informatization and every variable is consisted of several questions. Such an evaluation system will be applied for vocational colleges to know their own situation of IT application and to develop managerial strategies by using IT. This system also will be useful to compare you with your potential competitors and to find appropriate polices of IT application by measuring the indexes at different points of time.

공공행정 정보시스템의 내재화에 관한 연구: 사회보장정보시스템을 중심으로 (A Study on the Infusion of Public Administrative Information Systems: Focusing on the Social Security Information System)

  • 본 연구에서는 공공행정 정보시스템을 대상으로 정보시스템 내재화의 영향요인을 살펴보고, 정보시스템 내재화가 업무성과에 미치는 영향을 분석한다. 이를 위해 개인의 동기를 설명하는 자기결정이론을 토대로 정보시스템 내재화의 영향요인을 자발적, 비자발적 동기로 구분한다. 자발적 동기요인으로는 성과기대, 개인혁신성, 조직시민행동을, 비자발적 동기요인으로는 정부의 영향, 경쟁조직의 영향, 최고관리자의 영향을 제시하였다. 분석결과, 자발적 동기요인인 성과기대, 개인혁신성, 조직시민행동은 정보시스템의 내재화에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으나, 비자발적 동기요인을 구성하는 정부의 영향, 경쟁조직의 영향, 최고관리자의 영향은 모두 유의한 영향을 미치지 않았다. 정보시스템의 내재화와 업무성과 간의 관계는 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 공공행정 정보시스템과 같이 비자발적 사용 환경에서는 정보시스템 사용여부를 개인이 결정할 수는 없지만, 의무적 사용수준을 넘어선 적극적 활용은 개인의 자율성과 관련된 요인들이 중요한 역할을 수행하는 것으로 분석되었다.
