컴퓨터 워크스테이션의 인간공학적 디자인 (Ergonomic Design of Computer Workstation)

  • 컴퓨터의 도입과 함께 VDT 증후군이라는 새로운 사회문제가 제기되고 있다. 다양한 체격의 사용자가 무리 없는 자세로 VDT작업을 수행하기 위해서는 인간공학적인 설계기준이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 선 연구의 설계지침을 이용하여 설계 권장치수를 먼저 제시하였다. 이에 대찬 타당성 검증을 위해 사용자의 선호치수를 구하였고, 그것과 설계지침에 따른 차이를 분석하였다. 그리고 안락감과 신체불편도 평가를 통한 주관적 평가와 근전도(EMG)분석을 통한 객관적 평가를 사용하여 각 설계치수가 인체에 미치는 영향을 비교분석 하였다. 워크스테이션에서 중요한 키보드의 높이는 팔꿈치보다 높이가 낮다면 손과 손목에 영향을 미치고, 높으면 목과 어깨에 피로를 가져다준다. 본 연구 실험결과 한국인을 위한 키보드책상의 권장치수는 고정식일 때 660mm 조절식일 때 540-774mm를 추천한다. 그 외 설계권장치수는 본문에 제시하였으며 이와 같은 인간공학적 권장치수는 결론적으로 사용자의 신체에 맞게끔 조절범위를 제공하므로 설계 분야에 중요한 기초자료가 되리라본다.

사무실 의자의 인간공학적 디자인 (Ergonomic Design of Office Chair)

  • 국내의 의자 개발은 선진외국의 인체치수 및 설계기준에 의한 디자인으로 인해 많은 사용자가 작업 수행도는 물론, 허리, 목, 어깨 통증에 대한 호소가 늘고 있는 실정이다. 다양한 체격의 사용자가 무리없는 자세로 사무작업을 수행하기 위해선 사무용의자의 각종치수에 대한 인간공학적 설계기준이 필요하다. 본 연구에서는 한국인 성인 인체측정자료를 바탕으로 선 연구의 설계지침을 이용하여 설계권장치수를 제시하였다. 이에 대한 타당성 검증을 위해 피실험자들을 측정하여, 선호치수를 구하였고, 그것과 설계지침에 따른 차이를 분석하였다. 그리고 일반적으로 많이 사용하는 사무용의자들과 자신의 신체에 맞게 조절가능한 의자를 사용하여, 안락감과 신체불편도를 평가하였으며, 각 설계치수가 인체에 미치는 영향을 비교 분석하였다. 좌면의 높이가 높으면 허벅지에 영향을 미치고, 등받침대 폭, 높이, 각도는 어깨, 목, 허리에 피로를 가져다준다.본 연구실험결과 한국인을위한 사무용의자의 좌면 높이 권장치수는 고정식일때 425mm, 조절식일때 365-484mm를 추천한다. 그 외 설계권장치수는 논문에 제시하였으며, 이와 같은 인간공학적 설계권장치수는 결론적으로 사용자의 신체에 맞게 조절범위를 제공하므로 설계분야에 중요한 기초자료가 되리라 본다.

개폐 개념의 높이 조절이 가능한 광선반 개발 연구 - 외부조도에 따른 광선반 성능평가 중심으로 (Research of the Development of a Height-adjustable light-shelf based on an Open and Closed Concept - Focusing on the light-shelf Performance Evaluation Depending on the External Illumination-)

  • Purpose: With the increase in the energy consumption in the building sector, many studies have recently been conducted to address this issue. Due to its efficiency, diverse studies on a light-shelf, which is a natural lighting system, are in progress. However, there has been no research on the external illumination that determines the performance of a light-shelf. Therefore, the present study aimed to prepare the external illumination standard for securing the lighting performance of a light-shelf through the light-shelf performance evaluation based on a 1:1 scale testbed, and to suggest a height-adjustable light-shelf based on an open and closed concept for the case in which the lighting performance of the light-shelf significantly deteriorates, by collecting the external illumination. Method: In this study, a 1:1 scale testbed was established for performance evaluation, and the external illumination standard for securing the performance of the light-shelf was prepared by comparing the lighting performance of the light-shelf depending on the open and closed condition of the light-shelf and the external illumination. Result: 1) In this study, a light-shelf that can be opened or closed depending on the external illumination was suggested. As a result, the prospect right can be secured by creating the condition where there is no light-shelf installation by moving the light-shelf to the top of the window when the lighting performance is not secured. 2) In the summer solstice, the external illuminations appropriate for lighting energy reduction were more than 75,000 lx and 60,000 lx for the light-shelf width of 0.3 m and 0.6 m, respectively. 3) In the intermediate period, the external illumination appropriate for lighting energy reduction was 60,000 lx. In the winter solstice, making the condition where there is no light-shelf installation by closing the light-shelf would be appropriate. 4) Based on the aforementioned results, the external illumination standard for the opening and closing of the height-adjustable light-shelf based on an open and closed concept suggested in this study was 60,000 lx, and the light-shelf with a width of 0.6 m would be advantageous for lighting energy reduction.

작업환경에서 의자 및 조명 조건이 근로에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Seating & Lighting conditions on Work)

  • This field study was conducted to survey the effect of seating & lighting conditions on work. The results were as follows ; Discomfortable parts of body caused by unsuitable sitting postures on work were low back 52.05%, leg 15.75%, neck 14.38% and arm 9.59%. Work conditions of sitting postures were needed arm rest, back rest of seat and adjustable seat height. Effect of work efficiency by lighting conditions were statistically significant relationship between glaring state of workstation and lighting state.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the train seat dimensions suitable for keeping comfortable postures. We designed a special experimental seat of which the lengths and angles are adjustable separately. Seat dimensions keeping subjects comfortable were measured for the restricted posture and the extended posture. The significant differences of dimensions fur two postures were analyzed, and the differences were found on backrest-seatpan angles, length of backrest and so on. The dimension differences fur the levels of height and weight were also found out. Some dimensions were correlated with subjects' height and weight..

교량구조물의 받침 교체 효과 (The Effects on Structures caused by the Replacement of Bridge Bearing)

  • The effects on structures caused by the replacement of the bridge bearings are investigated in this study. The bearings of the bridge are seriously deteriorated because of the breakage of lower concrete and the corrosion of the bearing itself. Also, the negative reaction states are created at some bearings on the abutment. Then, the bridge has occurred excessive vibrations and severe noise and impact whenever heavy trucks pass the above joints. The existing bearings are replaced using the adjustable bearing. The height of the bearings is adjusted to minimize the level difference of above joint and also to induce the appropriate distribution of live loads The effects of replacing the bearings are investigated by measuring the behaviors of the bridge without and with replacing works. The results without replacing the bearing show that the distribution of displacements and stresses is distorted in comparison with the analytical results. Also the bridge without replacing the bearing shows that the impact and vibration from the heavy trucks are larger than those with replacing the bearing. Load carrying capacity of the bridge increase about 1.8 times through replacing the bearing. The above results show that the structural performance of the bridge is improved by replacing only bridge bearings.

  • 2단 행거는 공간 활용도가 높고 설치가 쉬운 장점으로 인해 많은 가정에서 사용되고 있지만 사용 시 높이 조절이 불가능해 사용자가 상단봉에 걸려있는 옷을 내리기에 많은 어려움이 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 기존 2단 행거의 기능 및 장점은 유지하면서 사용자가 의류를 손쉽게 걸거나 꺼낼 수 있는 새로운 형태의 2단 행거 형상을 제안한다. 한 번의 동작으로 상단봉이 사용에 편리한 높이까지 내려올 수 있도록 적절한 링크기구를 설계하였으며 높이 조절 시 상/하단 의류가 겹치지 않도록 상/하단봉의 움직임을 입체형으로 구현하였다. 또한 상단봉이 내려올 때 행거가 넘어지지 않으면서 사용 후 고정이 해제되어 원래의 높이로 올라갈 수 있는 적절한 링크 길이와 조인트 위치 및 구속 조건을 선정하였으며 사용자의 안전을 위해 가스 스프링을 추가하여 하강 및 상승 속도를 조절하였다. 높이 조절시 옷의 하중을 지탱할 수 있도록 FEA 해석을 통해 개선 형상에 대한 안정성을 검증하였으며 실제 제작을 통해 입체형 높이 조절 행거의 작동 여부를 확인하였다.

Supporter to Rectifying the Asymmetric Sitting Posture of Post Stroke

  • Purpose: This study determined the best adjustable height supporter for stroke patients in wheelchairs for the maintenance of a symmetric sitting posture. Methods: Thirty-one stroke participants and 20 age-matched control participants were recruited. The enrolled participants were evaluated by the Force Sensitive Application (FSA) System that was used to assess weight shift and symmetry in wheelchair sitting and assess the symmetric index (SI) of subjects according to 1, 2 and 3 cm height supporters. Results: When a 1 cm height supporter was applied to the paretic side of stroke survivors, sitting postures of stroke patients were significantly more symmetrical (p<0.01). Cross tabulation between the SI of wheelchair sitting and that of the paretic side of stroke patients caused? by a 1 cm supporter showed that 21 SIs of 26 stroke patients were improved by a 1 cm supporter to the paretic side (k=0.26, p<0.01). Conclusion: The findings of the present study demonstrate that stroke patients can maintain a more symmetrical sitting posture (than is possible when simply sitting in a wheelchair seat) if a 1 cm supporter is applied to the paretic side of stroke patients.

웹캠 기반 거북목 판별 알고리즘을 활용한 자세 교정 반응형 헬스케어 시스템 (Responsive Healthcare System for Posture Correction Using Webcam-Based Turtle Neck Syndrome Discrimination Algorithm)

  • This study developed a responsive healthcare system that users can easily use in real life to prevent turtle neck syndrome by posture correction. We propose a system that naturally induces direct posture improvement by adjusting the height with a responsive cradle through a turtle neck discrimination algorithm detecting the turtle neck posture in real time using a webcam. The turtle neck algorithm was developed based on machine learning, using the points that the distance relationship between the jaw line and the shoulder varies depending on the posture. For the younger age group, which is particularly problematic due to the increase in the use of IT devices, image data in different situations according to the height and posture of the cradle was collected and learned as a support vector machine classifier. In addition, a height-adjustable cradle that can support a laptop has been created and expanded into a responsive cradle that can be controlled with software by interlocking with the Arduino. Therefore, this service enables posture correction of many modern people suffering from turtle neck syndrome and will become an essential platform in the increasing online environment in the non-contact era.

한국 아동의 신체치수에서 본 아동용 학교 의자의 적합성 (Suitability of classroom chairs from standpoint of body dimensions of school children in Korea)

  • School children sit long on chairs in their classrom. Their posture is closely related to their chairs. Study of this relationship is very imporant for the health and education of school children. This report presents the results of study condcuted to determine the present status of classroom chairs and solve any problems identifede. The study involved 125 teachers in Seoul and Pusan, 175 fourth graders in Seoul, and 109 fourth graders in Puasn. The body dimensions of the school children and the dimensions of their chairs and desks were measured, and their postures while they studied at their desk were photographed. The following problems were identified as a result of the investigation: (1) Chairs are allocated to pupils according to their stature. (2) The teachers are not satisfied with the chairs and the method by which the chairs are allocated to their pupils. (3) The pupils complain of low seat height, narrow seat, and hard backrest, among other conditions. (4) The pupils select a chair one size larger than that suggested by their body size. (5) The poor posture of the pupils is traced to the seat height and sasyaku$(sitting height {\times} 1/3-1)$ of their chairs, their habit, their way of holding pencils, and lack of instruction by their teachers. The following recommendations are made to solve these problems: (1) Adjust the seat height and desk height to accommodate the pupils. (2) Provide both teachers and pupils with adequate knowledge of chails. (3) Provided each pupil with one desk and make the desk adjustable to sit his or her body dimensions. (4) Allocate a chair and desk to each pupil for his or her exclusive use. (5) Reserch and develop conversion tables that help to find suitable chails for individual pupils. New values of sasyaku and desk height, not specified in Korean Industrial Standards(KS), are proposed.
