가상환경에서의 실시간 캐릭터 애니메이션은 컴퓨터 게임 및 가상현실 분야에서 중요한 문제이다. 최근에는 캐릭터 애니메이션의 사실성을 높이기 위해 대규모 동작 캡쳐 데이타를 활용하고 있다. 그러나 거대하고 복잡한 가상환경을 만들기 위해서는 현실 환경에서 동작을 캡쳐하고 이를 넓은 가상환경에 적용해야하는 어려움이 따른다. 본 논문에서는 애니메이션 캐릭터가 몇 가지 빌딩 블록(building block)들로 건설된 넓은 가상공간에서 자유롭게 활동하게 하는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 빌딩 블록들은 반복적인 형태로 배열되어 더 큰 환경을 생성할 수 있다. 이러한 각각의 블록들을 모션 패치(motion patch)라고 부른다. 모션 패치는 해당 블록 내부에서 캐릭터가 수행할 수 있는 동작들에 대한 정보를 가지고 있다. 본 논문은 다수의 캐릭터가 방대하고 복잡한 가상환경 속에서 실시간으로 애니메이션되고 제어되는 예제들을 통해 이 논문에서 제시하는 방법이 다양한 목적에 유용하게 사용될 수 있음을 보인다.

Against the backdrop of the clear impact of climate change, it has become essential to analyze the influence of climate change and relevant vulnerabilities. This research involved evaluating the impact of heat waves in Seoul, from among many local autonomous bodies that are responsible for implementing measures on adapting to climate change. To carry out the evaluation, the A1B scenario was used to forecast future temperature levels. Future climate scenario results were downscaled to $1km{\times}1km$ to result in the incorporation of regional characteristics. In assessing the influence of heat waves on people-especially the excess mortality-we analyzed critical temperature levels that affect excess mortality and came up with the excess mortality. Results of this evaluation on the impact of climate change and vulnerabilities indicate that the number of days on which the daily average temperature reaches $28.1^{\circ}C$-the critical temperature for excess mortality-in Seoul will sharply increase in the 2050s and 2090s. The highest level of impact will be in the month of August. The most affected areas in the summer will be Songpa-gu, Gangnam-gu, and Yeongdeungpo-gu. These areas have a high concentration of residences which means that heat island effects are one of the reasons for the high level of impact. The excess mortality from heat waves is expected to be at least five times the current figure in 2090. Adaptation plan needs to be made on drawing up long-term adaptation measures as well as implementing short-term measures to minimize or adapt the impact of climate change.

기업과 정부기관은 COTS를 사용한 정보시스템을 개발하고 있다. 특히, COTS는 정보보호시스템과 정보시스템의 컴포넌트로 활용되고 있다. 본 연구는 보안기능 개발을 위해서 필요한 COTS의 선택 수준과 비용을 고려할 때 COTS 컴포넌트의 우선순위를 제시한다. 보안기능 컴포넌트 선택과 관련된 비용 효과적인 의사결정을 위하여, 본 연구는 정보보호기술을 계층화하고, 다기준의사결정 기법을 사용하여 COTS 컴포넌트의 우선순위를 제시한다.

As personal robots coexist with a person with a role to help a person, while adapting various human life and environment, the personal robots have to accommodate frequently-changing or different-from-home-to-home environment. In addition, personal robots may have many kinds of different Kinematic configurations depending on the capabilities. Some may have a mobile base and others may have arms and a head. The motivation of this study arises from this not-well-defined home environment and varying Kinematic configuration. So the goal of this study is to develop a general control architecture for personal robots. There exist three major architectures; deliberative, reactive and hybrid. We found that these are applicable only for the defined environment with a fixed Kinematic configuration. Neither could accommodate the above two requirements. For the general solution, we propose a Supervised Hybrid Architecture (SHA), in which we use double layers of deliberative and reactive controls, distributed control with a modular design of Kinematic configurations, and real-time Linux OS. Deliberative and reactive actions interact through a corresponding arbitrator. These arbitrators help a robot to choose an appropriate architecture depending on the current situation to successfully perform a given task. The distributed control modules communicate through IEEE 1394 for the easy expandability. With a personal robot platform with a mobile base, two arms, a head and a pan-tilt stereo eye system, we tested the developed SHA for static as well as dynamic environments. For this application, we developed decision-making rules for selecting appropriate control methods for several situations of navigation task. Examples are shown to show the effectiveness.

무선 환경에서의 인증 모델은 많은 보안 위험을 내포하고 있다. 그러나 이 분야에 일반적으로 사용되는 표준 기술이 존재하는 것이 아니어서 본 논문에서는 무선 인증 환경에서 보다 강화된 보안을 제시할 수 있는 퍼지 논리 기반의 인증 모델을 제시한다. 제안하는 모델을 위해서 퍼지 논리 기반의 분류 방법을 사용하고 적절한 판단을 위해서 개선된AHP 알고리즘과 사례 기반의 추론 방법을 추가적으로 사용한다. 개선된AHP 알고리즘을 사용해서 다양한 상황정보를 수치화하고, 제안된 인증 모델을 사용해서 입력 데이터에 대한 보안 등급을 계산한 다음, 다양한 환경의 상황정보를 가진 무선환경에 제안된 인증 모델을 안정적으로 사용할 수 있을 것이다. 향후에는 상황인식 연구를 클라우드 컴퓨팅 분야를 포함한 다양한 분야로 제안 모델을 확대하면 더욱 안전한 보안 환경을 기대할 수 있을 것이다.

Background and purpose: Well being which emphasizes peace of mind and richness of spirit, has been already used from several thousands years ago, as the name of Yangsaeng(養生) when we regard it in the view point of oriental medicine. Yangsaeng means a person's daily life according to natural rules in order to compensate his essence qi spirit(精氣神) and to prevent and cure his disease for his long life, and there are environment, spirit, qigong, food, dwelling labor, sleeping and sexual intercourse as its methods. But in Korea, we are mainly using the health and concept of the health management and use of it, with the one developed in Western. Thus, in this study, literature study was made for the situation of research and feature of Yangsaeng method. Among them, I tried to study mainly on adapting method of Exercise Yangsaeng and its possibility which can derive harmonious development of Spirit and body for human body, in the view point of identity(整體觀). Methods: Diploma thesis and words of 'Yangsaeng', 'exercise cure', 'exercise therapy', and 'exercise prescription', in 'KERIS(Korea Education & Research Iformation Service).' Results and conclusion: In this study, in order to adapt oriental method of Yangsaeng to the reality, I selected and researched only Exercise Yangsaeng among various Yangsaeng methods including environment, spirit, qigong, food, dwelling labor, sleeping and sexual intercourse. The Exercise Yangsaeng has its advantage that it ran train both mind and body as well as it has various programs, but it is regarded at it is in need of more study as lows; First, it requires assessment on the effect of construction itself as well as degree management of Excercise Yangsaeng as a method of exercise which is being done in daily life or in the literature. Second, above all, standardization of Yangsaeng Exercise and specialized programs are required in order to introduce the Exercise Yangsaeng which was verified for its effect, to the cure of disease. Third, researches are required for the system of assessment management for measurement of relative effect of standardized programs. fourth, continuous compensation is required in the future by adapting researched and developed programs into the field.

A conventional image coder, such as JPEG, requires not only DCT and quantization but also additional pre-filtering under noisy environment. Since the pre-filtering removes camera noise and improves coding efficiency dramatically, its efficient implementation has been an important issue. Based on well-known noise removal techniques in image processing fields, this paper introduces an efficient scheme by adapting a noise removal procedure to block-based image coders. By using two-dimensional DCT factorization, the proposed image coder has only a modified DCT and a VLC, and performs pre-filtering and quantization simultaneously in the modified DCT operation.

최근 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있는 ‘유비쿼터스’라는 새로운 패러다임은 기존보다 더욱 많은 컴퓨팅 자원을 이용하여 사용자의 편의를 지원하는 것을 그 목표로 하고 있다. 유비쿼터스 컴퓨팅 환경에서 사용자를 지원하기 위한 대표적인 예로 개인화 서비스를 들 수 있으며, 개인화 서비스는 사용자에 대한 모델링이 필수 요소가 된다. 개개인의 행동 패턴 혹은 선호도 정보로 구성된 사용자 모델은 다양한 개인화 서비스의 원활한 지원을 위해 지금까지 유용하게 사용되고 있지만, 기존의 사용자 모델은 각 서비스가 개발될 때, 그 서비스에 적합한 형태로 매번 설계되어야 하는 문제점을 지닌다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 해결하고자, 사용자 모델을 구성하는 정보들을 분석하여, 모델 설계에 필요한 일반화된 입력 패턴들을 도출하고, 도출된 패턴들을 바탕으로 더욱 쉽고 빠르게 사용자 모델을 생성할 수 있는 방법을 제안한다.

This paper proposes the planning and design of the Eco-village centering around Chindo-ri, Muju-kun. The Eco-village project has three basic objects the Eco-village residents' lives adapting to ecological principles such as regeneration and circulation, life agricultural techniques based on organic cycle, and residents' harmonious lives with the surrounding nature. For constructing of the Eco-village, first, the subject area was analyzed in terms of the natural and cultural environment and then, on this analytic ground the concrete concept and the specific plan were set up. The following details also should be considered: the scale of the residential household, the population, the space arrangement of the village, the material cycling structure, the waste treatment, the purification of the sewage, the energy supply, the landscape architecture, the production activity, the conservation of the ecosystem and so on.

멀티 에이전트 시스템은 공통의 목표를 위해 함께 일하기로 합의한 협업 에이전트로 구성된다. 에이전트 시스템에서 메시지를 스케줄링 할 때, 동일한 우선순위가 역할의 중요도를 고려하지 않고 모든 에이전트에게 동일하게 할당된다면 성능은 극대화되지 않을 것이다. 본 논문에서 우리는 새로운 메시지 기반 우선순위 스케줄링 기법을 제안한다. 그것은 에이전트 시스템으로 하여금 에이전트와 메시지 작업 처리량의 중요도에 기반으로 메시지의 우선순위를 적절하게 모델링함으로써 환경 변화에 신속히 적응할 수 있게 한다. 에이전트 시스템의 성능은 저자들에 의해 개발된 에이전트 플랫폼을 통해 실행된 범죄 예방 시스템에 대한 사례 연구를 이용한 제안된 계획에 의해 상당히 개선된 것으로 보여준다.
