연구실 안전관리 실태조사에 관한 연구 -대학, 정부 연구기관, 기업부설연구소 중심으로- (Study on actual status investigation of safety management of laboratories -Centering on university, government research institution, and corporate affiliated research center-)

  • In this study, actual status of safety management for the objects of 173 university, government research institution, and corporate affiliated research center was carried out through questionnaires. For unexpected accident status according to kinds, scale, and types of laboratories, frequency analysis using cross analysis and multiple replies analysis was used. The result of this study is judged to be used for laboratory safety education prevention programs, laboratory environment improvement, investment or improvement of laboratories through the actual safety management status of laboratories such as vulnerable works for generation of unexpected sudden accidents according to kind, scale, and type of laboratories, period of occurrence, prevention education, necessity for preliminary test, and cause of laboratory accidents.

공정안전관리 사업장의 열매체유 사용실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Actual Status of Heat Transfer oils in Industries for Process Safety Management)

  • 열매체유는 화학플랜트의 가열시스템, 열교환시스템, 특정한 가스공정, 사출성형 시스템 및 펄프 제지공정에 사용되고 있다. 열매체유는 열적 산화 분해에 잘 견디며 안전성이 뛰어나며, 열매체유가 누출이나 분출의 경우에는 점화원이 있을때 쉽게 점화된다. 본 연구에서는 공정안전관리 사업장의 화재 폭발 사고를 예방하기 위해서 열매체유의 사용 실태조사를 통해 안전관리 상태를 고찰하였다. 사업장의 공정시스템에서 사용된 열매체유의 사용실태는 개발된 설문지에 의해서 조사되었다. 본 연구 결과는 열매체유의 관리나, 열매체유 공정의 안전한 운전과 유지와 관련된 화재 폭발 사고 예방을 위한 안전관리 대책 수립에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

일부지역 대학생의 식품위생 안전실태 및 행동인식 조사 (Survey on Actual Status and Recognition of Food Safety among Undergraduate Students)

  • Objectives: This study was conducted to find out the actual status and recognition of food safety among undergraduates in some areas and verified the results. Method: 328 undergraduate students at two colleges in J-city, J-province were chosen and data were collected from May 10 to June 20, 2008 and analyzed. For data analysis, SPSS 12.0 Version was utilized. Results: Of the students surveyed 66.8% had experienced food poisoning. Of the students who had experienced food poisoning, 57.1% were treated after food poisoning. 75.6% of the students surveyed said that food safety recognition on food distribution was insufficient. The relationship between expectation and satisfaction of food safety was positive(r=.575, p<.01). Recognition scale of food hygiene behavior was 1.32 points on average. And recognition scale of personal hygiene was 1.24 points and recognition of food management related-hygiene was 1.39 points.

  • Facilities with high risk of a disaster or requiring continuous safety management are designated as class-III facility. In order to designate a class-III facility, it is evaluated based on the safety status of the facility, the risk to the building users, and the number of years elapsed of the facility, etc. and this shall be referred to the actual condition survey for the designation of a class-III facility. In the actual condition survey conducted to designate the safety status is calculated by the checklist based on the evaluation scores consisting of five stages each item, and is evaluated in three stages by 'good', 'careful observation', and 'designated review' through the average of the combined scores. Currently, the actual condition survey being conducted applies only structural stability, and the risk factors such as damage to the finish, the risk of cracking, and the type and weight of major structures are not included in the checklist for the actual condition survey, so even if experts think it is dangerous, scores cannot be reflected. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the problems of checklist of the actual condition survey for the designation of class-III facility and to propose an improvement plan for the checklist for the actual condition survey.

수상 안전사고 실태와 안전대책에 관한 조사 연구 - 1998년~2000년 전국 익수 사고자를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Actual Status of Accident and Measure of Water Safety)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the actual status of occurrence of near-drowning accident by regions, sex, causes, places, months and days through Bureau of Statistics for 3 years from 1998 to 2000. 1. As the results of the drowned persons for 3 years from 1998 to 2000, the total number of them were 5,058 persons and 1,686 persons the yearly mean experienced near-drowning accidents. In the actual status of drowned persons by regions, 255 persons(15.1%) of Kyung-Ki regions are highest, 27 persons(1.62%) of Che-Ju regions are lowest. 2. In the actual status of drowned persons by sex, the yearly mean 1324 male persons(78.58%) and 362 female persons(21.42%) of 1,686 persons the yearly mean are drowned and the number of male drowned persons is 3.7 times higher than that of female. 3. In the actual status of drowned persons by age, among 1,686 drowned persons the yearly mean, 467 persons between fifteen and nineteen are drowned(9.23%). 4. In the actual status of drowned persons by causes, the major causes due to the poor swimming skills are 43.4%. 5. In the actual status of drowned persons by places, the major places are rivers and riversides(50.0%). 6. In the actual status of drowned persons by months, among 1,686 drowned persons the yearly mean, 319.33 persons(18.94%) on the July and 403.66 persons(23.94%) on the August had the highest the drowning accident. It is one of major cause of seasonal accidental death especially in summer. 7. In the actual status of drowned persons by day of the week, among 1,686 drowned persons the yearly mean, most of near-drowning accidents are happened on weekend(56.62%).

열매체유 시스템의 안전관리 실태에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Actual Conditions of Safety Management in Thermal Oil System)

  • Depending on the progress of the industrial advances, the use of the thermal oil system in the utility system has been increased, which became an important part in the operation of the plant. However, fire or explosion have occurred due to lack of risk awareness and safety management, more frequently than we know. In this study, by using a questionnaire, actual conditions of safety management in thermal oil system is surveyed and analyzed, it is composed of general, a safety status of the thermal oil system component and the stage of recognition and management in the thermal oil system. These results of this study can be used as basic data to the safety management and the accident prevention of fire or explosion in the workplace.

Development of Educational Content for Nurses to Prevent Safety Accidents of Hospitalized Children: Delphi Approach

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop content for safety education to prevent hospital safety accidents among hospitalized children and to investigate the status of safety education performed by nurses. Methods: First, the Delphi method was used, with 18 experts, to develop educational contents for preventing safety accidents. Second, an exploratory survey was performed of the actual status of safety education for preventing safety accidents among hospitalized children using a questionnaire developed based on the Delphi method. The participants of this study were 159 nurses with at least 6 months of work experience. Results: The educational content developed through the Delphi method for preventing safety accidents among hospitalized children contained seven domains (falls, injury, electric shocks/burns, suffocation/aspiration, poisoning/abuse, kidnapping, medical devices) with 44 topics. The item mean of nurses'perceptions of the importance of child safety education was 4.18, and the actual performance score was 3.72, which was a statistically significant difference (t=11.58, p<.001). Conclusion: These seven comprehensive domains of accident prevention education for hospitalized children are expected to be useful for interventions to support the safety of hospitalized children.

해양프로그램 실태조사를 통한 운영 개선방안 및 정책 제안 연구 (A Study on Policy Proposal of Marine Environment Education Program through Research on the Actual Condition)

  • The purpose of this research is to identify the overall operation status of the marine program, which operates in the Department attempted, in various qualities and operational programs consisting of lecturers derives the problem, and to the policy proposal accordingly. 재해분석과 실태조사를 통한 스마트 팩토리 공정의 위험성 감소 방안 (Plan for Risk Reduction of Smart Factory Process through Accident Analysis and Status Survey)

  • The domestic smart factory is being built and spread rapidly, mainly by mid-sized companies and large enterprises according to the government's active introduction and support policy. But these factories only promote production system and efficiency, so harmfulness and risk factors are not considered. Therefore, to derive harmful risk factors in terms of industrial safety for 12,983 government-supported smart factory workplaces from 2014 to 2019, industrial accident status analysis compared workplaces with automation facilities and government-supported workplaces with automation facilities. Also, to reduce risks associated with domestic smart factory processes, twenty government-supported workplaces with automation facilities underwent analysis, evaluating risks through a status survey using the process evaluation table. In addition, the status survey considered region, size, industry, construction level, and accident rate; the difference in risk according to the structure of the process was confirmed. Based on the smart factory process evaluation results, statistical analysis confirmed that serial, parallel, and hybrid structures pose different risk levels and that the risks of mixed structures are greater. Finally, safety control system application was presented for risk assessment and reduction in the smart factory process, reflecting the results of disaster analysis and actual condition investigation.

CNG버스 내압용기 사용 및 안전관리 실태 분석 (Analysis on Actual Condition of Usage and Safety Management for CNG Pressure Vessel in Bus)

  • There are about 38,977 CNG cars and 247 natural gas vehicle charging stations in operation in order to improve the urban air environment. With the introduction of natural gas vehicles, the atmospheric environment, which was the main cause of air pollution in the metropolitan area, was remarkably improved. However, unlike these positive effects, CNG bus accidents, which occurred more than 10 times since 2005, have caused concern among the majority of citizens using public transportation. It is necessary to make a judgment on the feasibility and future direction of CNG pressure vessel safety management that can safeguard the safety of CNG pressure vessel at the time of starting. In this study, we investigates production and use of CNG vessel, the current status of safety management of CNG bus transportation companies & charging stations and then proposes measures to prevent accident recurrence and safety management based on the actual situation investigation and analysis.
