지게차 마스트 작동내구를 위한 실차 기반 무인시험장치 개발 (Development of an Unmanned Test System Based on Forklift for Mast Operation Durability)

  • In this paper, we develops an unmanned test system for the purpose of realizing an actual forklift-based test-bed for the operation durability of the forklift mast. First, two robot actuators were applied to the lever to replace lever manipulation of the operator. For detecting the height of the fork and the tilt angle of the mast, the laser displacement sensor and the inclinometer were installed to the forklift. Next, the embedded control system was used to control the robot actuator with reference to test mode. Experimental evaluation verified that developed test system was effective and practical for the viewpoint of the repeatability of the test mode.

협동미술활동에 대한 유아교사의 인식 및 실태 (Early Childhood Teachers' Recognition and Actual State on Cooperative Art Activities)

  • 본 연구는 유아교육기관에서 실시하는 협동미술활동에 대한 유아교사의 인식과 실태에 대하여 알아보는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구대상은 Y시에 소재한 유아교육기관 교사 280명이다. 연구방법은 협동미술활동에 대한 교사의 인식과 실태에 대한 설문지 조사를 실시하였다. 연구문제를 위해 기술통계를 이용하여 문항별로 빈도, 백분율, 평균을 산출하였으며, 유아교사의 배경변인에 따른 차이를 살펴보기 위하여 t검증, F검증, ${\chi}^2$ 검증을 실시하였다. 연구결과 유아교육기관의 협동미술활동에 대한 필요성을 높게 인식하고 있었으며 교육목표 및 내용, 방법적인 부분에 있어 교사의 배경변인에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 협동미술활동에 대한 실태에 있어서도 실제 협동미술활동에 있어 실시횟수 및 방법, 시간, 평가방법, 교사연수 및 지원 등에서 교사의 배경변인에 따라 유의한 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 본 연구의 결과를 토대로 유아교육현장에서 보다 바람직하고 효율적인 협동미술활동이 운영될 수 있도록 다양한 협동미술활동 프로그램과 유아의 발달에 적절한 활동계획 및 방법, 교사교육 및 연수 등 다양한 지원방안이 모색되어져야 함을 시사하였다.

Modeling of Ultrasonic Testing in Butt Joint by Ray Tracing

  • Ultrasonic wave generation and propagation were modeled to simulate an ultrasonic test. A ray model was used for the modeling. Actual sound pressure distribution of the incident wave from an angle probe was analyzed using an ultrasonic visualization method to incorporate the actual sound pressure distribution in the model. In this method, the sound pressure was expressed by the density of rays and the reflection coefficient of ultrasonic beams. Reflection and mode conversion of rays were computed by the Snells law. Simulation programs for the problem of ultrasonic testing of a butt joint are built using this ray modeling. Simulation results for ultrasonic wave scattering from a defect and A-scan display in ultrasonic testing agreed with the actual experiment results.

  • Durability estimation of a prototype vehicle has traditionally relied heavily on accelerated durability tests using predefined proving grounds or rig tests using a road simulator. By use of those tests, it is very difficult to predict durability failures in actual service environments. This motivated the development of an integrated CAE (Computer Aided Engineering) methodology for the durability estimation of a prototype vehicle in actual service environments. Since expensive computational costs such as computation time and hardware resources are required for a full vehicle simulation in those environments with a very long span of event time, the conventional CAE methodologies have little feasibility. An efficient computational methodology for durability estimations is applied with theoretical developments. The effectiveness of the proposed methodology is shown by the comparison of results of the typical actual service environment such as the city mode with those of the typical accelerated durability test over the Belgian road.

  • In this study, an optical-fiber sensor was used to measure loads that could act in an environment similar to the loading conditions that exist in an actual pipe. The structure and the installation method of the optical-fiber strain sensor were applied considering the actual large pipe and the buried pipe environment. Load tests were performed using a displacement sensor and sandbags to determine the deflection of the pipe according to the external load, and the linear measurement results were verified. Considering the conditions that could exist in the actual pipe, the test method was presented, and the strain of the buried pipe generated at this time was measured.

  • This paper discuss the conditionally sampled actual wind pressure distributions causing peak quasi-static wind loads in the large span roofs using the wind pressures at many locations on dome models measured simultaneously in a wind tunnel. The actual extreme pressure distributions are compared itk load-response-correlation (LRC) method and the quasi-steady pressure distributions. Based on the results, the reason for the discrepancy in the LRC pressure distribution and the actual extreme pressure distribution are discussed. Futhermore, a brief discussion is made of the equivalent static wind load estimation for the large span roofs.

  • This study performs a simulation for an accumulation mechanism of contaminants, which were produced in an industrial belt of inland, on the surface of insulators. From the simulation, silicon insulators presented higher accumulation than that of EPDM(Ethylene Propylene Diene Terpolymer : EPDM) insulators on the same distance in the case of the Virgin polymer insulator, and this result presented the same result in the insulator applied in actual fields. In the case of the accumulation test for the Virgin insulator and insulators used in actual fields, it is evident that the Virgin insulator presented more accumulation than that of the insulator used in actual fields. The results can be caused by the generation of LMW (Low Molecular Weight) on the external material of polymer insulators, and the level of the accumulation can be changed according to the degree of the continuous generation of LMW.

  • This paper presents the implementation and control methods of a battery simulator. The proposed battery simulator can emulate the dynamic characteristics of any actual battery using the second RC ladder model of the equivalent circuit. Moreover, it can emulate the variation of impedance, which is the result of the change of battery characteristics due to the aging effect. The parameters of the battery simulator can be derived from the sequence of tests of the actual battery or only from the data supplied by the battery manufacturer. Proposed methods for the battery simulator are tested by extensive experiments. Test results show that the proposed battery simulator can emulate not only the dynamic characteristics but also the aging effects of the actual battery in real time.

대용량 포미장치 피로시험기의 충격 거동 모델링 (A Study of Dynamic Impact Models for Pile-Driver Breech Fatigue Testing System)

  • This paper presents the modeling and validation of a pile-driver breech fatigue testing system model to replicate actual high pressure in a large caliber gun barrel. A hysteresis damping function was incorporated in the nonlinear impact force model. Test of real pile-driver breech fatigue testing system had been performed for model validation. Comparison of the experimental result and model simulation during impact were made. Numerical studies were performed to evaluate how the actual chamber pressure pattern in the live firing of gun barrel was affected by parameters' variation. Some of the parameters simulated included input velocity, damping coefficient and stiffness. As a result, a variety of actual chamber pressure pattern could be reproduced and controlled through current simulation model.

용접연결부의 실제 비드형상을 고려한 노치피로해석법 (Notch Fatigue Analysis Based on the Actual Bead Shape of Welded Joint)

  • This paper is concerned with the fatigue behaviour of welded joints by the notch stress approach. The actual welded shape is complex and 3-dimensional that may influence greatly the fatigue strength. The purpose of the paper is to present a way of modelling the actual weld bead shape by using a 3-D Laser scanner for experimental models of steel plates with longitudinal fillet welds, and applying its results to a proper notch stress method for the fatigue strength. The present approach to assess the fatigue strength is quite promising with application to a variety of welded joints and effects of weld profiling to fatigue strength.
