Recently this writer has conducted a comprehensive survey of 38 private businesses where group feeding is practiced, with a view to determining the condition of nutrition intake by the blue collar workers of these businesses firms as well as gaining an indication of their facilities management along with their sanitary precautions. The survey has revealed, among others, a number of interesting data such as shown below. 1. There are a total of 1,054 workers being fed in groups daily at each of the above business companies, with only one nutrition specialist regardless of the number of workers to be fed or the number of times they are fed daily. The average number of cooks comes to 2.7 persons per 100 workers, while 42.2% of the companies provide four meals a day including mid-night supper, with the result that the workers are fed 3.13 times a day on an average. 2. The average feeding cost amounts to 151 won per meal per person, of which 86 won is payed by the workers themselves and 115 won by the companies involved. 3. The average fbod intake has been found to be 490 grams which can be further broken down into 44grams of animal food and 446grams of vegetable food. These figures are higher than those revealed by the 1975 investigation of the nation's average nutrition intake. 4. The survey also shows the daily calorie consumption per person to be as high as 896 calories including 37 grams of protein which is further broken down into 11 grams of animal protein and 26grams of vegetable protein. With respect to other types of nutrients excepting Vitamin-A, the companies concerned are believed to prorids more than what the survey of the nation's nutrition has revealed or the amount recommended by Korea FAO assoc!ation as desirable. 5. As for facilities management, there is still much room for future improvement. Some 97.4% of the companies surveyed are not equipped with the steam table, which indicates lack of concern along this line as well as a very how degree of equipment utilizations. Distribution of the food in the dining room is generally depedent on self-service method. 6. Speaking of sanitary precautions taken by those businesses involved, some 76.3% are found to have their compounds haunted by rats and other insects. Some 73.7% of them are dependent on boiling method for disinfection of kitchen utensils, which is conducted by 50% of those industries only two or three times a week. It seems hardly feasible to conduct disinfection everyday.
This study seeks to promote the mental and physical efficiencies of the foreign workers working in our country through the promotion of their health, and provide help in their effective use of medical treatments and granting appropriate medical benefits, and provide the basic information helpful in managing the health of the foreign workers who are playing a role in the advancement of the industry in Korea for the companies and employers that are employing them by researching the health condition and management status centering on the foreign workers from a part of Asia and South America who are working in our country. I made a regression analysis toward 231 foreign workers who have employed in industrial workplace from Mar. 1 to Jun. 30, 2008. The result said the factors that affect significant impact on common health disorder of foreign workers in their daily circumstances were staying period in Korea($\beta$=.270),difficulty to access hospital($\beta$=.268), inferior sanitation of work place($\beta$=.218), smoking or not($\beta$=.170), actual condition of health maintenance($\beta$=-.251).($R^2$=0.501)
Recently, the fresh logistics recognizes to be created the high value-added part for logistics companies. Because the fresh logistics, which provides the system of temperature control and sanitary management, is able to be created more better high value-added products than the existed logistics system. In this research, we suggest the fresh logistics cluster for the proposal of activation in the field of food industry, which apply good activity for fresh logistics, and show the present condition and matters domestic fresh logistics market. This study did analyze the status & volume of perishable cargo which come from the imported Chinese fresh products representatively, at Incheon port and assume to build the fresh logistics cluster complex at Songdo FEZ, which is available developing and located near by Incheon port. The actual intensive study should be progressed for Korean logistics companies in order to optimize to the suitable fresh logistics system, need to set up the policy and management of statistical data concerning fresh logistics system.
The domestic smart factory is being built and spread rapidly, mainly by mid-sized companies and large enterprises according to the government's active introduction and support policy. But these factories only promote production system and efficiency, so harmfulness and risk factors are not considered. Therefore, to derive harmful risk factors in terms of industrial safety for 12,983 government-supported smart factory workplaces from 2014 to 2019, industrial accident status analysis compared workplaces with automation facilities and government-supported workplaces with automation facilities. Also, to reduce risks associated with domestic smart factory processes, twenty government-supported workplaces with automation facilities underwent analysis, evaluating risks through a status survey using the process evaluation table. In addition, the status survey considered region, size, industry, construction level, and accident rate; the difference in risk according to the structure of the process was confirmed. Based on the smart factory process evaluation results, statistical analysis confirmed that serial, parallel, and hybrid structures pose different risk levels and that the risks of mixed structures are greater. Finally, safety control system application was presented for risk assessment and reduction in the smart factory process, reflecting the results of disaster analysis and actual condition investigation.
Even though B2B EC is becoming popular, there have been not so much studies about performance evaluation methodology for B2B systems. In this paper, after analyzing buyer-carts systematically focusing on the buyer's interactional efforts on the typical buying processes of each buyer-cart, we propose a quantitative performance evaluation model. For this, we categorize buyer-carts in B2B EC as s-cart, i-cart, and b-cart depending upon its residing sites: seller, intermediary, and buyer sites. And after proposing the desired features of buyer-carts in B2B EC as identification, collection, trashing, ordering, payment, tracking, recording, purchasing decision support, and transmission of records to e-procurement systems, we derive a performance evaluation model by calculating detail sub-processes from the desired features' viewpoints. By setting variables from a survey on the actual condition of using buyer-carts in companies in Korea, we try to evaluate the performance of buyer-carts in B2B EC. In this paper, we suggest a new methodology of performance evaluation for B2B systems, and show that the b-cart platform is more efficient than other buyer-carts especially in B2B EC.

Typically, General contractor in the construction industry can not plan their own of the amount of orders received, and because of the size of wide fluctuations in the amount of annual orders received for equipment or personnel to full-time employment has limits. Therefore, with a vertical division of labor between specialist trades which distributed the risk and the intention to improve the efficiency of production will be. For this reason, the production structure of the general subcontracting relationships are formed. In this way, Depending on the structure of production outsourced management of the project is the impact on the successful completion. Nevertheless, most construction companies do not achieve effective an organized cooperation until now. This study is to understand the actual conditions an organized cooperation between general contractor and specialist trades, and is look at ways to improve with find the complement. This paper is a preliminary study of the leading research based on the present condition of the cooperating companies considered to be the cause. A result of Analysis, the actual conditions in cooperation of the construction industry is staying in an external form of organizational cooperation And were not effective utilization of the organization for the cooperation a production. Specialist trades have had to register as partners for the amount of orders received, the level of practical cooperation was almost no activity to improve a production. in each step an organized cooperation in the construction industry, to improve productivity construction and to create of economic value for the cooperation of production is required.
This study examined the analysis of the present condition, structure of fundraising activities, the effect of resource development and strategy for nonprofit social service organizations. This study investigated the fundraising and resource development activities of 356 non-profit organizations and community welfare centers nationwide. The results showed that a period of foundation of non-profit organization and community welfare center in Korea, was 10~14 years and organized with 13~19 workers. The community welfare centers were well prepared for the internal environment for resource development system such as workers, department, management for sponsors and computer program, while others were not prepared. Their recognition for the importance of fundraising activities was higher than the satisfaction of actual condition. The non-profit organization needs management sponsors, planning, public relations, fundraising skills and preparation proposal as the theme of education for fundraising activities. Their plans of the fundraising activity were events, proposal application, fundraising focus on companies, cause-related marketing. The non-profit organization complained of the difficulty about insufficiency manpower and skills of fundraising, external resource development and a budgetary deficit.
Under the global economic competition, company competitiveness depends on creating high performance through effective human development. It is also a tendency to analyze organization members'competencies and outcomes, develop competency model, and apply the model to developing and managing human resource in each organization. Therefore, this study figures out the present condition of development of competency model and its application to examine the degree to which the competency model, which has been introduced to Korean companies for the use of competency diagnosis of members, is being utilized. For this purpose, survey items were created by expert council and advisory committee and survey was conducted for Korean corporations. The result shows that most of the companies, regardless of size and type, develop their own model by referring to outside models, or use models developed by consulting company lead. Therefore, it is urgent for the companies to develop model appropriate for the peculiarity of each company. Second, while the main reason to introduce competency model was to reinforce workers' competency, models developed have not widely utilized in HRM overall. There is a need to overcome a limit of utilization of models. Third, Majority responded that they, regardless of size and type, upgraded models or did not upgrade at all due to change of work environment. There is also a need to systematize follow-up care of the models. This is a primary research to examine the present condition of development of competency model and its application in company so that it can be used as springboard to study in-depth inside condition of Korean company using competency model and condition of particular positions of company members.
Recently, most enterprises are having a knowlege management boom. A number of books associated with the knowlege management are being published, countless public seminars are held, and many research councils have been organized studying it formally or informally as if not importing the system is like falling behind a fashion. However, there are not many cases that achieved success by constructing the system of knowledge management. Then, why the knowledge management is not so much effective despite so many voices wanting the change of management system and a lot of public lectures about it? I guess the reason is that most companies do not have concrete methodology. Seeing a result of a survey which reported that with spread of venture boom and successful examples being known widely, the outflow of precious human resources is accelerated and a large number of employees of conglomerates have already resigned or are considering separation from their positions, we can realize that are occurring a change which can be nearly called severance in an occupational view and an organization culture. The preference to a large enterprise or a public institution of labor is low today and the notion about a lifelong job is regarded as past remains. As for this, it could be said that the social atmosphere that pursued the stability of a job has been changed to the practical one that attaches importance to ability and pay. The way of thinking of employees has been changed while established organizations cannot satisfy their desire and this explains why important members of a company are flown out. The reason why superior human resources move to venture businesses is that they can do their likable work and also prove their ability as well as unconventional rewards. Although existing companies are trying to preserve important human resources through performance compensating stock option, temporary patching up of personnel management cannot retard the rushing wind of foundation and the outflow of labor. On the contrary, clumsy import of performance-based reward system not only fails to hire superior labor power but also can bring about a sense of incompatibility and conflicts among the remaining employees. Therefore, this thesis, focusing on how to choose, develop, and maintain the human resources, will suggest a future-aiming human resources management model of Korean enterprises after comparing and analyzing the actual condition of domestic companies and the trends of advanced corportaions.

The location of auto industry in Jeon-buk is due to the strategies for secure a low-priced industrial site of the auto assembly companies, which attained to quantitative growth stage in the early part 1990's, and the regional balanced development policy by the location of leader enterprise of the government. As a consequence of the reversal development pattern that is located the auto parts firm after locating the auto assembly companies, the Jeon-buk auto industry has many structural vulnerability. First, because of the lack development of auto parts industries, the auto assembly companies located in Jeon-buk are dependent many auto parts at a external region. Second, most of auto parts firm belongs to the singular assembly company exclusively. And the majority of auto parts industries are the low value-added products that are necessary a simple labor power. Third, the agglomeration undeveloped of associated industries with automobile caused a low competitiveness of invitation a manufacturing company as against other provinces. For a regional economic development by the auto industry, it is necessary a flexible regional structure of production through an agglomeration of associated industries. The geographical proximity between an assembly company and a parts firms is an important locational factor with the induction of Just-in-Time production system and a modularization in the auto industry. And a modularization applies to more new factory than the existing factories. So that, Jeon-buk self-government has to create an amicable industrial environment, try to attract an auto parts enterprises and plan an agglomerated industrial complex that is able to supply a parts modulated to assembly company.
