Streptomyces melanosporofaciens가 생산하는 새로운 항생물질 I. 생산균의 분류 . 동정 (New Antibiotics Produced by SEreptomyces mekmosporofaciens I. Taxonomy of the producing microorganism)

  • 새로운 phthalic acid 유도체 및 염기성 마크로라이드 항생물질을 생산하는 strain 88-GT-161은 numerical taxonomic data base에 의거 Streptomyces melanosporofaciens로 동정되었으나, 139 단위 특성 중 4가지 단위에 있어. S.violaceoniger 혹은 S.violaceusniger로 대표되는 cluster No.32에 속하는 6균주의 공통된 특성과 분명히 다른 특성을 나타냈다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 strain 88-GT-161의 분류. 동정학적 특성에 대하여 보고하고자 한다.

  • The Lithium ion secondary battery has been developed for high energy density of portable electrical device and electronics. Among the many conductive polymer materials, the positive active film for Li polymer battery system was synthesized successfully from polyphenylene diamine(PPD) by chemical polymerization in our lab. And PPD-DMcT(2, 5-dimercapto-1, 3, 4-thi-adiazole) composite flim conductive material, at high temperature was also prerared with the addition of dimethylsulfoxide(DMSO). The surface morphology and thermal stability of prepared composite flim was carried out by using SEM and TGA, respectively. Electrochemical and electrical conductivity of composite flim were also discussed by cyclic voltammetry and four-probe method in dry box(<27pm). And the electrode reaction mechanism was detected and analyzed from the half cell unit battery system.

Crystal Structure Analysis of 3-(4-ethylphenyl)-3H-chromeno[4,3-c]isoxazole-3a(4H)-carbonitrile

  • The crystal structure of the potential active 3-(4-ethylphenyl)-3H-chromeno[4,3-c]isoxazole-3a(4H)-carbonitrile ($C_{19}H_{16}N_2O_2$) has been determined from single crystal X-ray diffraction data. In the title compound crystallizes in the monoclinic space group $P2_1/c$ with unit cell dimension a=6.6869 (8) ${\AA}$, b=15.8326 (19) ${\AA}$ and c= 15.237 (2) ${\AA}$ [${\alpha}=90^{\circ}$, ${\beta}=100.663^{\circ}$ and ${\gamma}=90^{\circ}$]. In the structure chromene, isoxazole and carboxylate are almost coplanar each other. All geometrical parameters revelled that chromene ring of pyran ring adopt sofa conformation. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular C-H...N and C-H...O hydrogen bond interaction.

  • The crystal structure of the potential active methyl-3-phenyl-3H-chromeno[4,3-c]isoxazole-3a(4H)-carboxylate ($C_{18}H_{15}NO_4$) has been determined from single crystal X-ray diffraction data. 온돌 난방에 대한 동적 시뮬레이션 및 분석 (Method and Analysis of Dynamic Simulation for Ondol Heating)

  • Ondol heating, a kind of radiant floor heating, is a main method used in housing units in Korea. Building energy simulation including ondol and relevant facilities has not been performed due to its complexity. For evaluating energy consumption and indoor temperature variation, a new method should be proposed. At the present work, a dynamic simulation on ondol heating was tried by combining TRNSYS and EES. Characteristic functions for a pump, hot water coils and a gas boiler were simultaneously solved by EES, and calculated flow rates and supply temperature of hot water were provided as inputs of the active layer of TYPE 56 in TRNSYS. The results by the simulation on a typical housing unit in Korea shows a good trend in a viewpoint of actual behavior of ondol heating.

On the Passivization Possibilities of the Prepositional Object in English

  • The prepositional object (PO) of an active sentence in English can sometimes be passivized, becoming the subject of the corresponding passive sentence. In particular, the verb (V) and preposition (P) in the English prepositional passive (P-Passive) are assumed to be reanalyzed to form a single structural unit, giving the status of a verbal object to the PO to be passivized. However, not every V+P sequence can undergo reanalysis, permitting the passivization of POs. Thus, we have to explain what licenses the reanalysis of V and p. resulting in an acceptable P-Passive sentence. In this paper, I will identify the factors which determine the passivization possibilities of POs and explain how they interact with one another. The results of this study will illustrate how formal and functional factors work together to form a major syntactic construction and to determine its grammaticality and acceptability.

Array of Pentacene TFTs for AMOLED

  • In this paper, we studied on the application of Organic Thin Film Transistors (OTFTs) to the active matrix organic light emitting diodes (AMOLED). We designed organic transistor based pixel circuits for AMOLED. The pixel circuit is consisted of two-transistor, one-capacitor and one-OLED. We report the simulation results of the pixel circuits that OLED current varied as the data line and scan line voltage. Also, we will describe the fabrication process of the Pentacene OTFTs arrays and the organic light emitting diodes. The driving results of the fabricated unit pixels and their 4x4 arrays are also presented.

  • In this paper, key issues of stainless steel foil substrates for display applications have been described. We studied and analyzed technical issues on substrate passivation/planarization to control surface roughness and capacitive coupling from conductive substrates. A thick (either multiple or single) passivation/planarization layer needs to be applied on the nonelectronic-grade stainless steel substrate to provide a smooth surface and electrical insulation from the conductive substrate. Especially for large size, high-resolution display applications, low k and thick passivation/planarization layers should be used for appropriate capacitive coupling. Based on our initial study, a unit area capacitance of less than $2nF/cm^2$ of passivation/planarization layers is needed for 32" HD TV OLED displays.

  • A single phase voltage-controlled active power filter(APF) is introduced to improve power quality and to reduce harmonic generated from nolinear loads. Real and reactive power control scheme was addressed using a new power circuit model. By analyzing the reactive power, a unit power factor control scheme was proposed. Simulation and experiment results using a nonlinear diode rectifier showed that the voltage-controlled APF, unlike the current-controlled APF, can reduce the voltage harmonics as well as current harmonics. Also the results showed that the input power factor was greatly improved.

노인에 대한 지식과 경험 증가가 대학생의 노인지각에 미치는 영향 (Changing University Students Perceptions Toward the Aged: Effects of Knowledge and Experience of the Elderly)

  • The purpose of this study was to explore university students′ perceptions about the elderly before and after an introductory course for gerontology. Sixty-two male and female undergraduate students participated in the study as a part of the course requirement. Throughout the semester, theme students received a series of classroom lectures on gerontology, as well as participated in diverse activities to experience elderly lives. A survey was administered with the students at the beginning of the first day of class and at the end of the semester. By the end of the unit university students were more likely to have accurate conceptions of and positive attitudes toward aging and the aged. More specifically, they were more likely to (1) perceive "old" and "getting old" as a positive one, (2) seem older adults spend their time on active self-development and social activities, (3) view older adults are important, (4) change opinions about what an old person and young person do together, and (5) have a positive outlook on their own future lives as older adults.
