Controller Design using Sliding Mode Techniques for Satellite Formation Flying

  • Satellite formation flying is currently an active area of research in the aerospace engineering. There are many categories for this research such as the determination of initial conditions, formation keeping, configuration and reconfiguration. In this study, a tracking controller using sliding mode techniques is designed to control a satellite for the satellite formation flying. In general, Hill's equations are used to describe the relative motion of the follower satellite with respect to the leader satellite. But, the modified Hill's equations considering J2 perturbation were used for the design of sliding mode controller. Sliding mode control law causes the chattering phenomenon because it is a discontinuous control. Dead-zone was used to avoid the chattering. The Extended Kalman filter was applied to estimate the state vector based on the measurements of relative distance and velocity between two satellites.

  • 다중 물체 추적은 움직이는 물체를 추출하고 검출된 정보와 물체 정보를 이용하여 움직임 궤도률 추적하는 것이다. 따라서 정확한 움직임 추적이 수행되려면 효율적인 물체의 추출이 선행 되어 져야 한다. 일반적으로 영상 분할 알고리즘은 다양한 증류의 영상에 대한 물체의 수학적 모델이 찌대로 설정되어 있지 않기 때문에 물체를 정확하게 분리해 내기 어렵다. 그러나 물체의 추출에 주로 처리 속도가 빠른 배경영상을 이용한 차(difference) 영상 기법과 반 자동 영상분할인 Snake Model이 갖는 Active Contour 알고리즘과 같이 물체 추출 과정에서 물체의 정의니 semantic 정보를 부여 한다면 개선된 영상 분할의 결과를 얻을 수 있다. 따라서 차 영상 기법과 semantic 정보를 가진 영상분할 알고리즘은 동영상에서 움직임 물체의 VOP(Video Object Plane)를 생성하는 매우 현실적인 방법이다. 본 논문에서는 영상의 상위 레벨Semantic 정보를 이용하기 위해 변형 Snake Model를 이용한 영상분할 방법을 이용하여 영상을 추출한다. 추출된 물체는 윤곽선(곡선) 정보와 함께 에지 성분의 기울기에서 얻은 특징 점을 이용하여 물체를 추적해 나간다.

  • This paper describes a monocular PSD-based motion capture sensor to employ with commercial video game systems such as Microsoft's XBOX and Sony's Playstation II. The system compact, low-cost, and only requires a one-time calibration at the factory. The system includes a PSD(Position Sensitive Detector) and active infrared (IR) LED markers that are placed on the object to be tracked. The PSD sensor is placed in the focal plane of a wide-angle lens. The micro-controller calculates the 3D position of the markers using only the measured intensity and 2D position on the PSD. A series of experiments were performed to evaluate the performance of our prototype system. From the experimental results we see that the proposed system's compact size, low-cost, ease of installation, and high frame rates are suitable for high speed motion tracking in games.

  • 본 논문에서는 비디오 지리정보시스템 구축을 위해 특징점을 이용한 객체 추적 알고리즘을 제안한다. 기존의 특징점을 이용한 객체 추적 알고리즘은 카메라의 움직임이 배제된, 즉 배경이 고정된 영상에서 객체의 특성을 이용한 방식으로, 운행중인 차량에 부착된 카메라에서 획득한 영상에서는 배경이 움직이므로 객체를 정확하게 추적하지 못하는 문제점이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위해 연속된 카메라 영상에서 모션벡터를 이용해 시간에 따른 객체의 변화율을 유도하고 유도된 변화율을 이용하여 객체 추적 알고리즘을 제안한다.

  • To meet demand for large-scale new personnel caused by active railway investment projects such as high-speed line construction, electrification and double-tracking of the existing lines, we KNR need to establish a subsidiary firm for each field instead of personnel augmentation. The establishment of subsidiaries is expected to solve the problem of the current outsourcing services, reduce costs and in the long term, improve the efficiency of railway business. In addition, we also suggest, as a pilot project, setting up Korean Freight Inspection Company in charge of conducting light and heavy maintenance for freight cars.

  • The automatic determination of vehicle operation status as well as continuous tracking of vehicle location with intelligent management is one of major elements to achieve the goals. Especially, vehicle operation status can only be analyzed in terms of expert experiences with real-time location data with scheduling information. However the scheduling information of individual vehicle is very difficult to be interpreted immediately because there are hundreds of thousand vehicles are run at the same time in the national wide range workplace. In this paper, we propose the location-based knowledge management system(LKMs) using the active trajectory analysis method with routing and scheduling information to cope with the problems. This system uses an inference technology with dispatching and geographic information to generate the logistics knowledge that can be furnished to the manager in the central vehicle monitoring and controlling center.

  • In precision instrumentation system, an A/D conversion of signal conditioning has been always suffered from some problems ; offset and drift voltage with environmental situation. This paper suggests a method of reducing the offset voltage and the drift error from the A/D conversion hardware using analog signal switching technique with specific operational amplifier circuits. Also, we have designed a hardware active filter and a software digital filter with Auto Zero Tracking algorithm for better dignal process of the our proposed weighing system. Software technique was performed to obtain the stable data from A/D converter. As a result of our experimental works, the proposed system is expected to be used in the industrial field where a high precision measurement is required.

  • 최근 각광받고 있는 위치기반 서비스의 모델인 긴급 SOS 시스템은 기지국망을 이용한 광역위치추적과 IEEE 802.15.4를 기반으로 하는 근거리 위치추적 시스템이 결합된 새로운 형태의 하이브리드형 위치추적 기법이다. 본 시스템에서 근거리 위치추적 범위를 정확히 추정하는 것은 중요한 이슈라 할 수 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 IEEE 8020.15.4를 기반으로 하는 Zigbee 통신방식을 추정 할 수 있는 최대 거리를 log distance model과 two ray ground 모델을 기반으로 추정 하였다.

  • In this paper the situation requiring emergency rescue team from the endangered person, using the structure of the signal with a transmitter that provides the service. Given real-time map information based on a directional antenna to the transmitter of the received value, and moving the location of the forecast to move the tracker to the location of the transponder, the algorithm offers. Location tracking algorithm implemented in the simulator to actually do the verification report which will show whether the performance of the show.

  • The modular line-connected photovoltaic PCS (power conditioning system) is proposed. The proposed system consists of a step-up DC-DC converter and a full-bridge inverter. A step-up DC-DC converter using a dual series-resonant rectifier circuit and a active-clamp circuit is proposed to achieve a high efficiency and a high input-output voltage ratio efficiently. An IncCond (incremental conductance) MPPT (maximum power point tracking) algorithm that improves MPPT characteristic is used. By control a inverter using a linearized output current controller, a unity power factor is achieved. All algorithms and controllers are implemented on a single-chip microcontroller and the superiority of the proposed algorithms and controllers is proved by experiments.
