NPVSS-NLMS 알.고리즘과 온라인 선형 피드백 경로 모델링을 이용한 비선형 능동 소음 제어 (Nonlinear ANC using a NPVSS-NLMS algorithm and online modelling of an acoustic linear feedback path)

  • Acoustic feedback and background noise variation can degrade the performance of an active noise control (ANC) system. In this paper, nonlinear ANC using a non-parametric VSS-NLMS (or NPVSS-NLMS) algorithm and online feedback path modeling is proposed, whereby the conventional linear ANC with online acoustic feedback-path modeling is further extended to nonlinear Volterra ANC with a linear acoustic feedback path. In particular, the step-size of the NPVSS-NLMS algorithm is controlled to reduce the effect of background noise variation in the ANC system. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed approach yields better nonlinear ANC performance compared with the conventional nonlinear ANC method.

역모델을 이용한 디지털 능동 소음제어 시스템 (Digital Active Noise Control System Used Inverse Model)

  • The poblem of active oise control has been analysed using a adaptive signal processing technique. In this methods, the adaptive signal processor or model predicts the primary sound wave travelling along the acoustic plant and generates the secondary source 180° out of phase which attempts to attempts to attenuate the undesired noise by destructive interference. In the solutions presented here, acoustic propagation delay is considered as a part of the model which used the FIR filter. The effects of error path and auxiliary path transfer functioin are anayzed and a new on=-line technique for error path modeling, adaptive delayed inverse modeling is presented. In this study, using these new concepts, our system can more reduce the noise level in duct to 5dB-15dB than only using LMS algorithm system.

  • For active noise control system, one would choose one of two methods: Fixed control design and Adaptive filter design. Each one has its own advantages. But fixed controller design method prefer for active noise control in a small cavity system. In this paper, we design a controller for the small cavity system using CDM and compare controller using CDM with $H{\infty}$. The order of the resulting controller is lower than that of the robust $H{\infty}$ design, which means CDM will be more prefer for implementation purpose designs.

  • Recently, many active noise control (ANC) systems, which employ the adaptive filter controlling method, have been reported for eliminating unwanted noise. ANC systems based on the filtered-X least mean square (FXLMS) algorithm have a problem with compensating the acoustic feedback of secondary route. It is difficult to apply the real time, because transfer function of secondary route must be measured by off-line method to solve this problem. In this paper, we propose the ANC system that applies a correlation LMS(CLMS) algorithm for improving a problem of transfer function measurement. The proposed algorithm is based on input of road noise. The proposed ANC systems have an advantage of real-time process without degradation of performance, although there are many calculation compared with FXLMS algorithm.

다중채널 능동소음제어기법을 이용한 KTX 실내소음의 구간별 저감성능 비교 (KTX Interior Noise Reduction Performance Comparison Using Multichannel Active Noise Control for Each Section)

  • Since the eco-era is getting closer, the importance of noise reducing in the passenger cars of high-speed train is very important. The active noise control is best choice to reduce low frequency noise because the passive one is too heavy for high speed trains where weight is so critical. Also ANC is able to reduce the ambient noise when the environmental-factor changes. To reduce a three-dimensional closed-space sound field like a car of a high-speed rail is hard to do using single channel ANC control system. We used multi-channel FXLMS algorithm which calculation speed is fast and the secondary path estimation is possible in order to take into account the physical delay in electro acoustic hardware control loudspeaker and power amplifier. Firstly, we have measured interior noise of KTX and estimated noise path in KTX test-bed. However there was some problem related to algorithm divergence and increasing the filter order. We have made a simulation of interior environment of KTX car by using three frequency bands of 120Hz, 280Hz, 360Hz as the most important for KTX ANC system. During this research the interior noise reduction of KTX car was made by using the multi-channel FXLMS algorithm. Reduction performance was evaluated and compared each other for open space section and tunnel section. in-situ experiment for the KTX noise reduction by proposed ANC was performed based on data obtained in simulation and they were compared for open space section and tunnel section as well.

능동 전력 필터를 위한 새로운 디지탈 제어 (A Novel Digital Control for Active Power Filter)

  • A novel digital control algorithms are developed for an active power filter (APF) using a pulse-width modulated (PWM) rectifier with current link. A main control algorithm compensating both the reactive power and harmonic currents with fast dynamic response is derived through a vector approach. A space vector modulation technique is developed for the PWM rectifier in order to generate the desired current vector of the APF. The system generates no acoustic noise and it is implemented with a minimal control hardware structure using the Intel 80196 single-chip microcomputer. Experimental results show that the proposed scheme gives good dynamic and static performance for the APF system.

닥트내 소음의 능동제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Active Noise Control in Duct)

  • 원형관의 닥트를 사용하여 1 차원 구동원으로써 라우드스피커와 환기용 팬을 사용하여 각종 알고리즘인 X-LMS 알고리즘과 Filtered-U 알고리즘 그리고 Full-Feedback Filtered-U 알고리즘으로 구성한 DSP 적응필터를 작동시켜 닥트에 적용할 수 있는 능동소음 제어시스템 실현의 가능성에 대하여 여러 가지 실험을 하였다. 1 차 구동원을 환기용 팬을 사용할 때 2 차 제어용 신호가 환기용 팬에 가까이 있는 탐지 마이크로폰에 혼입되는 현상을 고려한 Full-Feedback Filtered-U LMS 알고리즘을 능동제어 시스템에 적용하여 적응제어 필터를 작동하면 시스템이 발산되지 않고 안정상태에서 주파수 범위 170-250Hz 사이에서 다른 알고리즘에 비하여 소음량이 최대치에서 10dB 정도 감소되었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 서브밴드 기법을 이용한 다중채널 능동소음제어 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 서브밴드 제어 기법은 3차원 폐공간에서의 능동소음제어서 가장 문제가 되는 계산량을 줄이고 성능올 향상시키기 위한 방법으로, 소음신호를 여러 개의 주파수 밴드로 분할하여 병렬 처리함으로서 원하는 주파수 범위의 소음을 효과적으로 제거할 수 있어 기존의 알고리즘 보다 낮은 차수의 적웅필터를 사용할 수 있다. 적용필터 알고리즘으로 서브밴드로 나펀 기준입력 대신에 오차신호를 perfiltering하는 adjoint LMS 알고리즘을 적용하여 전체적인 계산량의 감소를 이룰 수 있었으며, 성능 향상올 위하여 기존의 하이브리드 제어기법을 변형하여 전향제어기와 궤환제어기의 특성을 가중적으로 갖는 하이브리드 제어기법올 광대역 소음제어 시스템에 적용하여 우수한 소음제거특성과 시스템의 높은 안정성올 얻었다. 제안된 알고리즘의 성능을 평가하기 위해서 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통해 기존의 알고리즘과 비교하였다.

단일 센서 기반 반향음 제어를 위한 최적 필터 설계 (A design of optimal filter for single sensor based acoustic reflection control)

  • 단일 센서 기반 반향음 제어 시스템은 하나의 센서 신호로부터 입사음과 반향음을 분리하여 추정하고, 입사신호로부터 반대위상의 신호를 발생시킴으로써 반향음을 감소시킨다. 본 논문에서는 단일 센서 기반 반향음 제어 시스템을 위한 최적 필터 설계 방법을 제안한다. 제안된 방법에서는 측정된 반향음 경로와 제어 경로의 임펄스 응답을 사용하여 최적 제어 필터 설계가 가능함을 보였다. 제안된 최적 필터를 기반으로 하는 반향음 제어 알고리즘은 기존의 적응 필터 기반 알고리즘에 비해 더 우수한 제어 성능을 얻을 수 있으며, 초기 수렴시간 없이 반향음을 효과적으로 제어한다. 1차원 음향 덕트 환경에서 얻어진 신호를 사용하여 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 수행하였으며, 시뮬레이션 결과로부터 제안한 최적 필터가 잡음 환경에서도 강건한 성능을 보임을 확인하였다.

Convergence Analysis of the Filtered-x LMS Adaptive Algorithm for Active Noise Control System

  • Application of the Filtered-X LMS adaptive filter to active noise control requires to estimate the transfer characteristics between the output and the error signal of the adaptive canceler. In this paper, we derive an adaptive control algorithm and analyze its convergence behavior when the acoustic noise is assumed to consist of multiple sinusoids. The results of the convergence analysis of the Filtered-X LMS algorithm indicate that the effects of parameter estimation inaccuracy on the convergence behavior of the algorithm are characterize by two distinct components : Phase estimation error and estimated magnitude. In particular, the convergence of the Filtered-X LMS algorithm is shown to be strongly affected by the accuracy of the phase response estimate. Simulation results of the algorithm are presented which support the theoretical convergence analysis.
