As increasing the Internet traffic, many researches on access network are reported for end-to-end high-speed broadband network, where E-PON(Ethernet-Passive Active Network) is one of reasonable candidate fur the network with respect to cost and bandwidth utilization. For the high-speed access network, E-PON need an efficient bandwidth allocation method. This paper suggests a WFA(Water-Filling Allocation) algorithm for the efficient bandwidth allocation with various simulation test.

New electronic commercial paradign is now diffusing based on the rapid growth of computer network infrastructure and, therefore, online shopping malls are aggressively expanding all over the world. In this paper, we identify facilitating factors that affect active utilization of online shopping mall considering customers' needs and convenience such as service availability, information relevance to customers' needs. and system convinience. Empirical data analysis was performed for nine Korean online shopping malls. Results suggest that current shopping malls should concentrate on delivering relevant information to the customers needs and developing convenient shopping mall systems.

It is not uncommon to witness brand image transference which is a development of corporate image from a collection of individual brand images. The brand image transfer process is the influence of consumer attitudes toward certain brands on overall evaluation of the company. To understand the image transfer process, we examine the influence of brand level evaluation on overall company evaluation through food and beverage consumer products in China, where active competitions among global brands exist.

The analysis of large data sets with hundreds of thousands observations and thousands of independent variables is a formidable computational task. A less parametric method, capable of identifying important independent variables and their interactions, is a tree structured approach to regression and classification. It gives a graphical and often illuminating way of looking at data in classification and regression problems. In this paper, we have reviewed and summarized tile methodology used to construct a tree, multiple trees and the sequential strategy for identifying active compounds in large chemical databases.

본 논문은 기존의 수동적인 네트워크 보안에서 벗어나 보안 위협에 대해서 능동적으로 대처하고 침입자를 말단에서 블록킹하는 능동 보안 관리 기술에서 센서를 관리하는 기술에 대한 것이다. 여기서 이동 에이전트의 특성인 이동성을 지니고 커널 뿐만 아니라 상위 어플리케이션으로 작동하는 센서를 효율적으로 생성, 이동, 위치 관리 및 소멸하는 방식에 대한 요구사항을 제시한다.

Objectives: Diet and incidence of chronic diseases are highly related. This study examined the characteristics of dietary safety awareness and competency for chronic disease prevention among adults. Methods: Data were collected from 247 adults in Daegu and Gyeongbuk areas using a self-administered questionnaire in May and June of 2018. Data were analyzed by frequency analysis, χ²-test, factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, one-way analysis of variances, and correlation. Results: The results of the factor analysis indicate that dietary safety awareness of health management was classified into chronic disease anxiety and obsession. Awareness of dietary safety management was sub-grouped into difficulty in acquiring knowledge, lack of awareness of over and malnutrition, food safety anxiety, importance of weight management, education requirement for cancer prevention, and knowledge. Dietary safety behavior composed of a balanced diet, unhealthy diet, and health-functional pursuit. Dietary safety management competency was comprised of health management, food management, and cooking. The competency scores of dietary safety management factors were significantly different according to sex, age, and education level (P < 0.05). Balanced diet factor was significantly correlated with knowledge, health-functional pursuit, health management, food management, and cooking capacity factors (P < 0.01). Conclusions: Active education for dietary safety management competency according to age, gender, and education level should provide dietary safety education to reduce anxiety and obsession regarding chronic diseases and sustainable health management.

Purpose: The purposes of this study were to explore knowledge, barriers, and self-efficacy in relation to pain management practice, and to identify factors influencing pain management practice in pediatric nurses. Methods: A descriptive correlational study was conducted. The participants were 237 pediatric nurses from a metropolitan city. Data were analyzed using t-test or analysis of variance and Pearson correlation and multiple regression analyses. Results: The mean percentage of correct answers on the children's pain management knowledge scale was 58.8%. Child and parent related factors were the main barriers for pain management. Self-efficacy to assess children's pain across developmental stages was particularly low. Pain management practices for assessing pain and non-pharmacological interventions were relatively low. Factors significantly affecting children's pain management practice were current conditions of work department and self-efficacy in pain management, and these factors accounted for 37.5% of the variance in pain management practice. Conclusion: The results suggest that an integrative education program needs to be developed to improve self-efficacy in children's pain management practice. Moreover, good communication, building cooperative relationships with children and parents, and a more active role by pediatric nurses are required to carry out more effective pain management.

The capabilities ofBusiness Process Management Systems (BPMS's) are continuously extended to increase theeffectiveness of the management and enactment of business processes. This paper identifies the challenge ofcase prediction, which for a specific case under the control of a BPMS deals with the estimation of the remaining time until it is completed. An accurate case prediction facility is a valuable tool for the operationalcontrol of business processes, as it enables the pre-active monitoring of time violations. Little research has beencarried out in this area and few commercial tools support case prediction. This paper lists the requirements onsuch a facility and sketches sonae directions to reach a solution. To illustrate the depth of the problem, a smallaspect of the problem is treated in more detail. It involves the complex relations between tasks and resources inbusiness processes, which makes an exact analytical approach mfeasible.
