철도 시설 및 차량 분야 사고 발생에 따른 비상대응 설비 환경 분석 연구 (A Study on emergency equipments for accidents of rail infrastructure and rolling-stock)

  • In this study, we have studied rail infrastructure related to emergency action to manage the risk when emergency caused by faults of facility or rail vehicle during operation happens. Especially we have compared the effect of emergency action with examining the structure of vehicle, tunnel, bridge and access road, etc which are related to emergency action. Also, we have tried to analyze effects of radio and communication equipment, lifesaving and refuge which could be used for rolling stock, station, control room, tunnel, bridge and etc, and we have presented the way of reporting the emergency to the train driver or crew, control room, outside networks which could be used by passengers in vehicle, station, railroad line. Based on these, we have analyzed the conduct of emergency action in length of time when emergency happens in railway and high-speed railway, and studied the method of which passengers could be guided safely and escape from the scene of the accident.

Decomposed "Spatial and Temporal" Convolution for Human Action Recognition in Videos

  • In this paper we study the effect of decomposed spatiotemporal convolutions for action recognition in videos. Our motivation emerges from the empirical observation that spatial convolution applied on solo frames of the video provide good performance in action recognition. In this research we empirically show the accuracy of factorized convolution on individual frames of video for action classification. We take 3D ResNet-18 as base line model for our experiment, factorize its 3D convolution to 2D (Spatial) and 1D (Temporal) convolution. We train the model from scratch using Kinetics video dataset. We then fine-tune the model on UCF-101 dataset and evaluate the performance. Our results show good accuracy similar to that of the state of the art algorithms on Kinetics and UCF-101 datasets.

  • 20세기 초 미래주의 화가 중 일부는 2차원 그림에 '속도감'과 '역동성'을 표현하고자 시도하였다. 그림 속 이미지가 움직이는 것처럼 보이도록 하기 위한 속도감과 역동성의 표현은 다양한 시각적 기호로 발전하였다. 이러한 움직임을 나타내는 시각적 기호는 만화에서 중요한 운동표현의 선으로 정착하였다. 세계적으로 인기를 얻은 토리야마 아키라의 <드래곤볼>은 속도감과 역동성이 강조되어 있는 액션장르의 만화로써, 운동표현에 관한 선을 연구하기에 좋은 작품이다. <한국만화영상진흥원>의 용어사전과 <만화 애니메이션 사전>에는 운동표현에 관한 선으로 속도선, 동작선, 효과선의 세 용어가 있지만 문맥적으로 의미가 유사해서 구분해 사용하기에는 쉽지 않은 면이 있다. 본 연구에서는 <드래곤볼>의 운동표현에 관한 선을 연구하기위해 기존의 운동표현에 관한 선의 의미상 문제점을 밝히고 새로운 대안을 제시하고자 하였다. 본 연구에서 운동표현에 관한 선을 기호적인 관점에서 분류하고 쓰임에 맞추어 새롭게 정의하고자 하였으며, 기존의 속도선, 동작선, 효과선에서 잔상선을 추가하여 네 가지 선으로 분류하였다. 첫 번째, 속도선은 '움직이는 대상의 운동표현을 속도성의 개념으로 표현한 선'으로 정의하였다. 표현함에 있어서 속도선이 대상의 형태와 결합했을 때는 직접속도선, 대상의 배경과 결합했을 때는 간접속도선으로 세분하였다. 두 번째, 동작선은 '움직이는 대상의 이동형태나 이동경로를 단순화시킨 선'으로 정의하였다. 세 번째, 효과선은 '움직이는 대상의 운동표현을 감각적 표현 혹은 감정적 표현으로 강조하는 선'으로 정의하였다. 네 번째, 잔상선은 '느리게 움직이거나 흔들리는 대상의 운동표현을 잔상효과로 표현한 선'으로 정의하였다. 본 연구에서 제시한 용어는 <드래곤볼>의 운동표현에 관한 선의 이해를 도울 수 있을 것이다.

  • We need many assembly lines to produce industrial product such as automobiles that require a lot of composited parts. Big portion of such assembly line are still operated by manual works of human. Such manual works sometimes cause critical error that may produce artifacts. Also, once the assembly is completed, it is really hard to verify whether of not the product has some error. In this paper, for monitoring behaviors of manual human work in an assembly line automatically, we proposes a realtime hybrid monitoring system that combines 2D vision sensor tracking technique with 3D motion recognition sensors.

조화분포하중을 받는 원환보의 음향방사 (Sound radiation of curved beam under the action of harmonic line forces)

  • The problem of sound radiation from curved beam under the action of harmonic line forces is studied. The reaction due to fluid loading on the vibratory response of the curved beam is taken into account. The curved beam is assumed to occupy the plane y=0. The curved beam material and the elastic foundation are assumed to be lossless including a tension force(T), damping coefficient(C) and stiffness of foundation($k_s$) will be employed. The non-dimensional sound power is derived through integration of the surface intensity distribution over the entire curved beam. The expression for sound power is integrated numerically and the results are examined as a function of wavenumber ratio($\gamma$) and stiffness factor($\psi$).

The beam material and elastic foundation are assumed to be lossless and Bernoulli-Euler beam theory including a tension force (T), damping coefficient (C) and stiffness of foundation $(\kappa_s)$ will be employed. The non-dimensional sound power is derived through integration of the surface intensity distribution over the entire beam. The expression for sound power is integrated numerically and the results examined as a function of Mach number (M), wavenumber ratio$(\gamma{)}$ and stiffness factor $(\Psi{)}$. Here, our purpose is to explain the response of sound power over a number of non-dimensional parameters describing tension, stiffness, damping and foundation stiffness.

  • The purpose of this study was to examine the post-purchasing behavior focusing on dissatisfaction and complaint behavior. There were some studies concerning dissatisfaction in on-line shopping related to satisfaction and intention to re-buying, but did not focus the relationship with complaint behavior, or identified the factors specifically related to consumer's dissatisfaction. In this study, it was examined to minimize the consumer's dissatisfaction and complaint behavior by investigating the detailed factors relating dissatisfactions and complaint behaviors after shopping apparel goods on the internet. Two hundred fifty five customers who had purchased fashion products in internet shopping had participated in this study. The data was analyzed by factor analysis, regression analysis using SPSS program. As the result, first, product, delivery, returning and price factor were extracted as factors of dissatisfaction, and as factors of complaint behavior, legal action, private action, remedial action were investigated. Second, dissatisfaction was significantly effected on complaint behavior. Specially, returning factor and price factor had effect on legal action, product, delivery factor had on private action and returning factor had affected remedial action. Third, more purchasing frequency, less dissatisfaction. Also, female had more dissatisfaction than male. Finally, more dissatisfaction and compliant behavior, less repurchasing intention. Based on these results, internet shopping fashion marketing strategies were suggested.

Computational optimisation of a concrete model to simulate membrane action in RC slabs

  • Slabs in buildings and bridge decks, which are restrained against lateral displacements at the edges, have ultimate strengths far in excess of those predicted by analytical methods based on yield line theory. The increase in strength has been attributed to membrane action, which is due to the in-plane forces developed at the supports. The benefits of compressive membrane action are usually not taken into account in currently available design methods developed based on plastic flow theories assuming concrete to be a rigid-plastic material. By extending the existing knowledge of compressive membrane action, it is possible to design slabs in building and bridge structures economically with less than normal reinforcement. Recent research on building and bridge structures reflects the importance of membrane action in design. This paper describes the finite element modelling of membrane action in reinforced concrete slabs through optimisation of a simple concrete model. Through a series of parametric studies using the simple concrete model in the finite element simulation of eight fully clamped concrete slabs with significant membrane action, a set of fixed numerical model parameter values is identified and computational conditions established, which would guarantee reliable strength prediction of arbitrary slabs. The reliability of the identified values to simulate membrane action (for prediction purposes) is further verified by the direct simulation of 42 other slabs, which gave an average value of 0.9698 for the ratio of experimental to predicted strengths and a standard deviation of 0.117. A 'deflection factor' is also established for the slabs, relating the predicted peak deflection to experimental values, which, (for the same level of fixity at the supports), can be used for accurate displacement determination. The proposed optimised concrete model and finite element procedure can be used as a tool to simulate membrane action in slabs in building and bridge structures having variable support and loading conditions including fire. Other practical applications of the developed finite element procedure and design process are also discussed.

Calculation and field measurement of earth pressure in shield tunnels under the action of composite foundation

  • Taking a subway shield tunnel in a certain section of Zhengzhou Metro Line 5 as an example, the field tests of shield cutting cement-soil monopile composite foundation were carried out. The load and internal force of the tunnel lining under the action of composite foundation were tested on-site and the distribution characteristics and variation laws of earth pressure around the tunnel under the load holding state of the composite foundation were analyzed. Five different load combinations (i.e., overburden load theory + q0, Terzaghi's theory + q0, Bierbaumer's theory + q0, Xie's theory + q0, and the proposed method (the combination of compound weight method and Terzaghi's theory) + q0) were used to calculate the internal force of the tunnel structure and the obtained results were compared with the measured internal force results. The action mode of earth pressure on the tunnel lining structure was evaluated. Research results show that the earth pressure obtained by the calculation method proposed in this paper was more consistent with the measured value and the deviation between the two was within 5%. The distribution of the calculated internal force of the tunnel structure was more in line with the distribution law of field test data and the deviation between the calculated and measured values was small. This effectively verified the rationality and applicability of the proposed calculation method. Research results provided references for the design and evaluation of shield tunnels under the action of composite foundations.

  • The automation and Cell-Line of manufacturing process are going to be new trend in the industry spot. But workers bodily burden by manual labour is still doing repeatedly at many processes. It is appearing to workers bodily burden (Shoulder, waist, hand, wrist, leg) with repeating works at assembly line which is from the static working space. The analysis with 6 Sigma Tool at specific standard assembly line improve the point at issue for unsuitable items and analyzed objects. Physical pain of worker is solved by the improvement action for the factor of 7 items with the result of analysis. It was known to be improved by solving of workers burden related to the change of 6 Sigma level from 2.16 to 4.1 at assembly line.
