비접촉식 수위계를 위한 이동형 교정시스템 개발 (Development of Portable Calibration System for Non-Contact Water Meters)

  • 댐 및 하천의 안정적인 운영은 국민의 생명 및 재산과 직결되는 상황으로 수문관측 데이터 신뢰성 확보는 안전재난 대비에 필수 요소이며, 과학적이고 신뢰성 있는 수자원 관리를 위하여 수위 데이터에 대한 실시간 자료 확보와 신뢰성 있는 데이터가 필요하나, 현재 운영되고 있는 댐이나 하천 상하류의 수위계는 신뢰성 확보를 위하여 현장에서 검교정이나 보정 등이 쉽지 않은 실정이다. K-water연구원에서는 유량계, 우량계, 수위계에 대한 국제공인 교정기관으로 운영중에 있으며, 우량계는 표준교정실 및 현장교정시스템을 이용하여 표준실 및 현장교정을 하고 있으나, 수위계는 표준교정실에서 실내 교정만 수행하고, 현장교정은 현장교정 절차서 및 시스템의 부재로 현장 교정을 하지 못하는 실정이다. 따라서, 수위계를 현장에서 교정할 수 있는 표준교정절차서 및 시스템을 개발하여, 수문관측 데이터의 신뢰성을 향상시키고자 한다.

개발 전주기 사이버보안 관점에서의 해상 사이버보안 형식 승인과 RMF 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on Type Approval of Maritime Cyber Security and RMF in the View of System Development Lifecycle)

  • 최근 사이버 위협이 고도화되고 해킹기술이 발달함에 따라 자동차, 선박 등 다양한 분야에서 사이버보안이 강조되고 있다. 이러한 추세에 따라 여러 산업 분야에서 기자재 및 시스템에 대한 사이버보안을 요구하고 있으며, 이에 관련된 인증 및 제도가 구체화 되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 산업 분야의 사이버보안 형식승인이 RMF와 같이 명시적으로 개발 단계별로 구분하지는 않으나, 시스템 개발 전주기에 사이버보안 요소가 반영되어야 한다는 공통요소가 있다는 전제하에 RMF와 비교하였다. 비교 대상으로 해상 사이버보안 형식승인을 선정하였으며, 이는 공식적인 사이버보안 형식승인의 예로 국내 유일의 국제 선박검사 기관인 한국선급의 형식승인을 예로 비교한 것이지 산업 분야의 사이버보안 형식승인을 대표한다는 의미는 아니다. 비교 결과 해상 사이버보안 형식승인 획득 절차는 RMF와 같이 개발 단계별로 구분하지 않지만, RMF와 같이 개발 전단계에 대해 사이버보안 요소 적용해야 하는 절차상의 공통점과 단계별 결과물에 대한 유사성을 확인하였다. 이에 따라 해상 사이버보안 형식승인 획득과정을 통해 개발된 시스템은 개발 전주기에 사이버보안 요소가 적용되었다고 판단할 수 있는 가능성을 확인하였다.

Variability of Practice Effects in Transfer of Photoelectric Rotary Pursuit Task

  • The purposes of this study were to investigate the effects of variability of training on the acquisition of motor skill of closed loop type tracking task using Rotary Pursuit, and to determine if there was a bilateral transfer effect to the non-dominant hand following practice with the dominant hand. Twelve healthy volunteer students (5 males and 7 females, aged 25 to 37) were randomly divided into a constant practice group and a variable practice group. A photoelectric rotary pursuit apparatus with stop clock and repeat cycle timer by Lafayette Instrumentation Co. was used for this study. Rotary pursuit is a closed loop task in which a subject attempts to keep a photoelectric stylus on a lighted target in motion. Subjects performed the clockwise circular pursuit task while standing. Experimental procedure was divided into three sessions, namely, pre-test, training, and post-test. The constant group practiced all 60 trials at 30 rpm. Variable practice group did a varied practice session with 15 trials at speeds of 20 rpm, 26 rpm, 34 rpm, and 46 rpm. No one in either group practiced with their non-dominant arm. A Mann-Whitney test and a Wilcoxon Signed Ranks test were used for statistical analyses. The results of this study showed no different training effect between groups on the post-test with the dominant hand. However, bilateral transfer effect of rotary pursuit task between hands was demonstrated. Possible mechanisms are discussed.

  • Recently, ubiquitous computing and sensor networks are making a rapid development. These technology can enable a new way of biomedical signal processing and healthcare. that is, they can improve care giving by a more flexible acquisition of relevant vital sign data, and by providing more convenience for patients. In this paper, we realize the biomedical sensor networks by applying IEEE 802.15.4/Zigbee networks to some various biomedical sensing unit. For address this, we developed minimized zigbee module and set-up procedure using PDA. The main advantages that we achieve are interference-free operation of different body sensor networks in the vicinity, as well as intuitive usage by the nontechnical personnel.

제조공정계획의 품질개선기법에 관한 연구 (A Study on Quality Improvement Method for Manufacturing Process Plan)

  • This paper proposes a method for improving the process plan quality by use of dimensional tolerances. Dimensioning and tolerancing plays a key role in manufacturing process plan because the final part must ensure conformance with the dimensions and tolerances in its drawing. As a first step for the improvement of process plan quality, two resultant tolerances in design and process plan should be compared each other, and so a tolerance chart is used for acquisition and comparison of the two tolerances. In addition to two kinds of design and manufacturing tolerances, operational sequences or paths for the resultant dimension and tolerance are additionally recognized for measuring the quality of process plan quantitatively. Rooted tree is applied to find the related paths for the manufacturing resultant tolerances. A quality coefficient is defined by the components of two tolerances and their relations, the paths related to manufacturing resultant tolerances and the difficulty of an operation. In order to improve the quality of manufacturing process plan, the paths that two kinds of tolerances are the same or different in the rooted tree are recognized respectively and a method for tolerance rearrangement is developed. A procedure for improving the quality is suggested by combining the coefficient and the tolerance rearrangement method. A case study is applied to illustrate the efficiency of improvement method.

고객의 납기마감시간이 존재하는 이기종 차량경로문제의 발견적 해법 (A Heuristic for Fleet Size and Mix Vehicle Routing Problem with Time Deadline)

  • This paper dealt with a kind of heterogeneous vehicle routing problem with known demand and time deadline of customers. The customers are supposed to have one of tight deadline and loose deadline. The demand of customers with tight deadline must be fulfilled in the deadline. However, the late delivery is allowed to customers with loose deadline. That is, the paper suggests a model to minimize total acquisition cost, total travel distance and total violation time for a fleet size and mix vehicle routing problem with time deadline, and proposes a heuristic algorithm for the model. The proposed algorithm consists of two phases, i.e. generation of an initial solution and improvement of the current solution. An initial solution is generated based on a modified insertion heuristic and iterative Improvement procedure is accomplished using neighborhood generation methods such as swap and reallocation. The proposed algorithm is evaluated using a well known numerical example.

암석영상분석의 신뢰도 향상을 위한 컬러보정기법 연구 (Color Calibration Method for Improvement of Reliability on Image Analysis of Rock)

  • 최근 암반공학 분야에서 영상분석기법 및 상용 영상분석장비의 활용이 활발히 이루어지는 추세이다. 그러나 영상의 획득 및 분석 단계에서 발생 가능한 오차들의 문제에 대해서 많은 부분 무시되어 왔으며 관련 연구 또한 미비하였다. 객관적인 암석영상의 분석 및 신뢰도 향상을 위해서는 암석영상에 적합한 컬러보정기법의 마련이 필요하다. 이에 본 연구에서는 암석영상에 대하여 표준컬러차트를 이용한 컬러보정기법을 도입하였으며, 화강암 시료를 대상으로 획득된 영상에 대하여 컬러보정과 오차분석을 수행하였다. 그 결과 암석영상들간의 상호 비교분석이 가능하였으며 또한 영상 획득 및 분석 단계의 신뢰도 향상을 꾀할 수 있었다.

  • This paper presents the performance and the algorithm of a 1/3-octave band spectrum control system. The system is developed to provide various spectrums in a high intensity acoustic chamber. The required spectrum, which usually comes from launch vehicle company, starts from 25Hz band and ends 10kHz band. Automatic spectrum control system is preferred since the system requires short settling time to guarantee the safety of test objects and to reduce the amount of operating gas. The developed system adapted a PCI data-acquisition/signal-generation board installed in a personal computer to implement whole control logic. The control software used three cascade digital Butterworth filters using software. The filers are designed following ANSI S1.11 standard to implement 1/3 octave band filter bank. The graphical user interface of the system guides the user to follow standard operation procedure. The averaged control spectrum showed less than 0.05 dB in every running 1/3-octave band.

콜로니 픽킹 로봇 시스템의 개발 (II) - 로봇 시스템의 성능실험 - (Development of Robot System for Colony Picking (II) - Performance test of the robot system -)

  • A robot system was developed to pick desired colony. This robot system consisted of an image acquisition process which acquires the image information of colony, an illumination device which irradiates the object once when it gets the image of it, a picking head, a replicating head, a bed for fixing well-plates, and a sterilization device of sterilizing pin stained with colony. Picking pins were washed in an ultrasonic wave washing for takes ten seconds. Picking pins were dipped for sterilizing in alcohol for ten seconds. The time for resterilizing picking pins in a heater was five seconds. This performance test resulted 100% success rate for both the colony picking and the colony replication process. Considering the procedure in which 8 pins were smeared by colony, picked on a well plate, and sterilized as one cycle, the system could carry out one cycle in 110 seconds. It took about 138 minutes to pick around 600 colonies.

고해상도 위성영상의 센서모델링을 위한 대기 및 속도 보정 (Atmospheric Correction and Velocity Aberration for Physical Sensor Modeling of High-Resolution Satellite Images)

  • High-resolution earth-observing satellites acquire substantial amount of geospatial images. In addition to high image quality, high-resolution satellite images (HRSI) provide unprecedented direct georegistration accuracy, which have been enabled by accurate orbit determination technology. Direct georegistration is carried out by relating the determined position and attitude of camera to the ground target, i.e., projecting an image point to the earth ellipsoid using the collinearity equation. However, the apparent position of ground target is displaced due to the atmosphere and satellite velocity causing significant georegistration bias. In other words, optic ray from the earth surface to satellite cameras at 400~900km altitude refracts due to the thick atmosphere which is called atmospheric refraction. Velocity aberration is caused by high traveling speed of earth-observing satellites, approximately 7.7 km/s, relative to the earth surface. These effects should be compensated for accurate direct georegistration of HRSI. Therefore, this study presents the equation and the compensation procedure of atmospheric refraction and velocity aberration. Then, the effects are simulated at different image acquisition geometry to present how much bias is introduced. Finally, these effects are evaluated for Quickbird and WorldView-1 based on the physical sensor model.
