문화재로 지정된 SH고등학교 강당의 음향리노베이션설계 및 평가 (Acoustic design for the renovation of a cultural heritage building, SH high school auditorium)

  • 국내 문화예술공간에 대한 통계조사에서 나타나듯이, 국내의 많은 공연시설들은 노후화에 따른 크고 작은 규모의 개보수가 필요한 상태이다. 그러나 이와 같은 기존공간의 음향개보수과정에서 참고가 될만한 사례연구가 많지 않은 실정이다. 본 연구는 문화재로써 많은 제약조건을 갖는 SH고등학교 강당을 대상으로 초기 음향검토에서부터 사용자의 요구조건 및 문제점들을 고려한 대안의 수립 그리고 대안들의 적용에 따른 음향성능평가과정 및 그 결과를 분석함으로써 음향리노베이션 설계의 참고자료를 제공하고자 하였다. 개선방안들의 적용결과, 실의 잔향특성이 개선되었으며 언어명료도 및 음악명료도가 개선되었음을 확인하였다. 그러나 라우드니스는 목표한 수준에 미치지 못하였으며 이는 천장에 적용된 슬랫형 구조가 강한 반사음을 제공하지 못하기 때문인 것으로 분석되었다.

  • The purpose of this study is analyzing temporal flow about 20 detailed performance items in the "Housing Performance Grading Indication System". This study try to figure out situations according grade in detailed performance item and to analyze change item about 112 cases(2 cases in 2006, 15 cases in 2007, 46 cases in 2008, 49 cases in 2009), from January 9, 2006 which system is undertaken, to October, 2009. This system consists of 5 main performance section, 14 performance categories and 20 detailed performance items. 5 main performance parts are Noise and Acoustics(Light-weight impact sound control, heavy-weight impact sound control, sound control of toilet, sound control of party wall), Long-life(flexibility, remodeling & maintenance, durability), Landscape & Indoor Environment(landscape, formaldehyde control & ventilation, daylighting, thermal environment), Welfare & Barrier-free(playground and community center, welfare space, barrier-free design), Fire Safety(fire safety, safe place, fire-resisting quality). Total efficiency about housing can understand systematically of 20 perfomance items though this research.

바이올린용 소재의 진동모드 해석에 관한 연구 -제2보. 소재 연륜폭 및 절삭방향이 브릿지의 공진주파수에 미치는 영향 (Studies on the vibrational modal analysis of solid woods for the violin making II, Effect of annual ring width and cutting direction on the resonant frequency of the bridges)

  • European maple is famous for the optimum solid wood for making bridge which is the most important part in violin acoustics. This study was carried out to investigate the variation of main features, i. e. annual ring width and cutting direction of costly imported violin bridge blanks and to examine the effect of these features of the blanks on the vibrational characteristics of bridge blanks. Imported violin bridge blanks had somewhat large variation in major macroscopical and physical properties and there was little relationship between annual ring density and weight of maple blanks. Resonant frequency of violin bridge blanks had some positive correlation with weight, however, damping having negative relationship with frequency was seldom affected by any physical properties of the maple blanks. Deviation from the radial cutting of tail side(ray direction from top toward feet on the edge of bridge blank) lowered the resonant frequency. Consequently, weight and ray direction should be taken for the critical quality decisive factors(QDF) of incoming bridge blanks by not only inspectors also luthiers who tune the bridge by shaping and are responsible for the final timbre quality of this complicate instrument.

  • The finite element programs have been developed for structure, collision, flow, dynamics, heat transfer, acoustics, electromagnetism, MEMS (Micro Electro Mechanical Systems), and etc. These programs can be classified as either "package" program or "single purpose" program. Single purpose programs usually have convenient and powerful functions, but these programs have limited expandability to different fields of analysis. Therefore, the method to converter the analysis results of single purpose program to other programs is needed. In the research, multi-body data conversion methods of 1) finite element model and 2) solid model were created to convert fluid analysis result of CFD-ACE+ to ANSYS data structure. Automatic boundary condition algorithms were developed for blade, and finite element model was compared with solid model. It is expected that, by sealess data transfer, the Multi-body Data Conversion Program could reduce the development period of torque converters.

共同住宅 뜬바닥構造의 바닥 衝擊音레벨 測定 (Measurements of the floor impact sound level for floating screeds in apartment house)

  • 고체음은 건축음향에서 가장 중요한 인자의 하나이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 건축음향설계에서 그 거동을 예측하는 연구는 아직 찾아볼 수 없는 실정이다. 여기에 바닥충격음 제어의 가장 확실한 방법중의 하나인 콘크리트 뜬바닥구조를 개발하여, 이 구조의 층ㅇ격음 차단성능을 기존바닥과 비교하고자 한다. 이를 위하여 5개소에 21개 샘플을 시공하고 그 성능을 KS F 2810의 규정에 따라 측정하였으며, 비교분석은 차음등급의 기준주파수 특성을 쓰고, JIS A 1419의 규정에 의해 구한 차음등급에 따랐다. 결과는 표 3.1의 번호 12의 구조이외는 크게 바닥충격음의 개선효과를 기대할 수 없었고 기타는 자료의 축적에 뜻이 있다 하겠다.

주택성능등급표시제도의 활성화를 위한 가변성 성능범주의 현황 및 개선방안연구 (A Study on Improvement of Flexibility for the Activation of the "Housing Performance Grading Indication System")

  • The purpose of this study is a proposal about the flexibility of the performance category to revitalize the "Housing Performance Grading Indication System". This system consists of 5 main performance parts, 14 performance categories and 20 detailed performance lists. 5 main performance parts are Noise and Acoustics(Light-weight impact sound control, heavy-weight impact sound control, sound control of toilet, sound control of party wall), Long-life(flexibility, remodeling & maintenance, durability), Landscape & Indoor Environment(landscape, formaldehyde control& ventilation, daylighting, thermal environment), Welfare & Barrier-free(playground and community center, welfare space, barrier-free design), Fire Safety(fire safety, safe place, fire-resisting quality). The flexibility of the performance category is conformed to Long-life housing related grading and can realize the Long-life housing in response to resident needs about the space rearrangement. Now, The flexibility of the performance category is limited to the evaluation of the private space, that is, the Skeleton evaluation. This study would suggest alternatives to improve uppermost limits through analyzing 60 examples from January 9th 2009 to October 30th 2008. The flexibility of the performance category is possible to estimate not only the Skeleton evaluation but also the Infill evaluation in response to social changes.

기하음향 기법을 적용한 한국형 고속철도 실내소음 저감 방안 (Reducing the Interior Noise of the Korean High-speed Train Using Geometric Acoustic Method)

  • The interior sound pressure level of the Korean high-speed train(KHST) is predicted by geometrical acoustic method. For the Purpose of assuring the prediction of Interior noise of KHST by the geometrical acoustic scheme, calculated sound level values of the Korean train express(KTX) by Identical geometrical method are compared with measured values of KTX prototype vehicle by experiment. Contribution of individual sound source of KHST vehicle Into the interior response positions is calculated and sound sources are classified in influential order. Hence, it is reasonable approach to reduce sound power of most contributing noise source first. Sensitivity of the interior response position's sound pressure level (SPL) with respect to train wall sections' transmission loss are carried on and acoustically sensitive spot is identified, for example window area for passenger cabin case. Those contribution and sensitivity analysis results are suggested to design quieter train efficiently.

냉각과 소음을 고려한 엔진 차폐 구조의 간편한 설계 방법 (Simple Design Method of the Engine Enclosure Considering Cooling and Noise Reduction)

  • Noise regulation of heavy construction machinery is getting stricter: 3 dB per every 4 year in European community. To meet this requirement many engineers have adopted the enclosing structures with thick absorbing materials and small opening, This increases internal temperature of the enclosure which have engine systems such as electric equipment that are vulnerable to heat, and engine block and muffler that can be regarded as heat sources. So noise control engineers have to consider a coupling problem: combining heat balance and noise reduction. This paper describes this approach by introducing simple heat transfer theory and SEA. The enclosing system of the loader whose enclosing structure consists of two rooms is investigated to show the validity of this method. The results represent that the simple heat transfer theory can be useful to estimate cooling performance when it is linked together by the back pressure theory in duct system. and the radiated noise can also be estimated by the SEA. Therefore a designer can use these approaches to define the opening ratio of an enclosure and the mass flow rate of air considering radiating noise.

네스티드 배열의 방위각 추정오차 보정기법 (Bearing Estimate Error Correction Method for a Nested Array)

  • 본 논문에서는 다중 주파수 대역을 처리하기 위해서 주로 사용하는 네스티드 배열 (nested array)에 적합한 빔형성기를 제안한다. 네스티드 배열에서는 채널의 비등방성 (nonisotropic) 빔패턴으로 인하여 주빔의 방위각 추정오차가 발생하며, 부엽준위가 원래 설계된 것과 달라진다. 각 채널신호의 시간지연을 채널 내에서 센서간의 시간지연과 채널간의 시간지연으로 분리함으로써, 빔형성기 출력에서 채널 자체의 비등방성으로 인한 영향을 제거할 수 있다. 이를 통하여 네스티드 배열에서 나타나는 두 가지 문제점을 동시에 보정하는 기법을 제안한다.

  • Recent developments in the prediction of the contribution of windnoise to the interior SPL have opened a realm of new possibilities in terms of i) how the convective and acoustic sources terms can be identified, ii) how the interaction between the source terms and the side glass can be described and finally iii) how the transfer path from the sources to the interior of the vehicle can be modelled. This work discusses in details these three aspects of wind noise simulation and recommends appropriate methods to deliver required results at the right time based on i) simulation and experimental data availability, ii) design stage at which a decision must be made and iii) time available to deliver these results. Several simulation methods are used to represent the physical phenomena involved such as CFD, FEM, BEM, FE/SEA Coupled and SEA. Furthermore, a 1D and 2D wavenumber transformation is used to extract key parameters such as the convective and the acoustic component of the turbulent flow from CFD and/or experimental data whenever available. This work focuses on the validation of the wind noise source characterization method and the vibro-acoustic models on which the wind noise sources are applied.
