금연 및 절주를 위한 학교 공급자원 및 프로그램 (Study on school health promotion service and program for smoking cessation and acohol-reducing)

  • This study investigates the school resources and programs for health promotion services, especially in areas of smoking cessation and acohol-reducing. The health of students is very important because of students' long life-span remained and their impacts on the community. A three-stage survey model was established. Three stages include a current status of school health resources and programs, an attitude to get rid of health risks at school, and a behavioral intention to provide health promotion programs in the near future. Three hundred and thirty-six schools filled up and returned the questionnaire by mail. The results showed that the facility and personnel for health management are equipped sufficiently in general, except in rural area located, small sized, or middle schools. But provided programs are not good enough in both quantity and quality. Frequently, schools provide the programs such as advertisement, mass education by internal lecturers, and individual. counselling. The programs of special lectures, group activities or rather active use of suppresants are provided rarely, because of the lack of special knowledge or financial supports at school. However, behavioral intention to provide such programs was high. Therefore, the role of health department at school should be fortified. The health teachers need to be trained as a consultant, and the education materials need to be provided to them The school also need to be supported with external experts for special lectures or group activities. In conclusion, schools need to pay more attention to the health risk of students and develop the effective and efficient school health programs for students' health.

사업장 규모별 금연 및 절주 프로그램 공급 실태 및 수유 (A Study on the Supply and Demands for Worksite Health Promotion Programs)

  • This study investigates the worksite resources and programs for health promotion services, especially in areas of smoking cessation and acohol-reducing. Health promotion program is important for employees and employers to promote their productivity and enhance their quality of life. To explain the worksite health promotion programs, a three-stage survey model was established and 111 worksites filled up the questionnaire. Stages of the model included the supply status of worksite health programs, attitudes to get rid of health risks, and behavioral intentions to provide health promotion programs in the near future. The results of this study are as follows. First, the facility and personnel for health promotion services are not equipped sufficiently in the middle-sized worksites. Second, provided programs are not good enough in both quantity and quality, because most worksites provide inefficient and low-cost programs. Third, worksites provide the programs such as advertisement, education materials especially in large-sized worksites, but not in middle-sized worksites. Therefore, worksites need to be supported with a public institution for efficient programs and continuing legal and systematic support for middle-sized worksites should be emphasized.

2단계 발효에 의한 양파식초의 성분변화 (Changes in the Components of Onion Vinegars by Two Stages Fermentation)

  • 양파식초 제조를 위하여 농축시료(A)와 보당시료(B)로 구분하여 알콜 및 초산발효를 2단계 과정으로 구분하여 성분 변화를 조사하였다. 유리당은 농축시료(A)는 glucose 4.1, fructose 4.2 및 sucrose 0.6%이었으며, 보당시료(B)는 각각 3.2, 3.3 및 4.6%로 발효가 진행됨에 따라 유리당의 함량은 점차 감소하는 경향을 나타내었으며, sucrose, glucose, fructose 순으로 모두 소비되었다. 환원당과 총당은 발효기간이 경과됨에 따라 점차 감소하여 알콜발효 36시간에 농축시료(A)에서는 각각 0.5 및 0.8%이었고, 보당시료(B)에서는 각각 0.4 및 0.6%이었으며, 그 이후에는 (A),(B) 두 시료 모두 큰 변화가 없었다. 알콜발효시 알콜함량은 두 시료 모두 발효 12시간부터 급격하게 증가하여 농축시료(A)는 발효 36시간만에 7.0%, 보당시료(B)는 발효 48시간만에 8.2%로 가장 높게 나타난 후 감소하는 경향이었다. 알콜성분은 acetaldehyde, methanol, ethanol, n-propanol, iso-butanol, iso-amylacohol 등이 분석되었다. 유기산은 농축시료(A)와 보당시료(B)에서 모두 acetic acid 함량이 보당시료(B)에 비해 높게 나타났다. 이상의 결과에서 양파를 원료로하여 농축과 보당처리에 따른 양파식초제조시 품질에 따른 차이는 크게 없었으나, 농축시료를 이용한 양파식초는 과잉생산에 따른 양파소비증대 방안으로 적합할 것으로 생각된다.
