분포유사도를 이용한 문헌클러스터링의 성능향상에 대한 연구 (Improving the Performance of Document Clustering with Distributional Similarities)

  • 이 연구에서는 분포 유사도를 문헌 클러스터링에 적용하여 전통적인 코사인 유사도 공식을 대체할 수 있는 가능성을 모색해보았다. 대표적인 분포 유사도인 KL 다이버전스 공식을 변형한 Jansen-Shannon 다이버전스, 대칭적 스큐 다이버전스, 최소스큐 다이버전스의 세 가지 공식을 문헌 벡터에 적용하는 방안을 고안하였다. 분포 유사도를 적용한 문헌 클러스터링 성능을 검증하기 위해서 세 실험 집단을 대상으로 두 가지 실험을 준비하여 실행하였다. 첫 번째 문헌클러스터링실험에서는 최소스큐다이버전스가 코사인 유사도 뿐만 아니라 다른 다이버전스공식의 성능도 확연히 앞서는 뛰어난 성능을 보였다. 두번째 실험에서는 피어슨 상관계수를 이용하여1차 유사도 행렬로부터2차 분포 유사도를 산출하여 문헌 클러스터링을 수행하였다. 실험결과는 2차 분포 유사도가 전반적으로더 좋은 문헌 클러스터링성능을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 문헌클러스터링에서 처리 시간과 분류 성능을 함께 고려한다면 이 연구에서 제안한 최소 스큐 다이버전스 공식을 사용하고, 분류 성능만 고려할 경우에는 2차 분포 유사도 방식을 사용하는 것이 바람직하다고 판단된다.

ELID 연삭을 이용한 비축 비구면 렌즈의 초정밀 가공 (Ultra-Precision Machining of Off-Axis Asymmetric Large-area Reflecting Mirror Using ELID Grinding Process)

  • This study focused on the application of ELID mirror-surface grinding technology to the manufacture of off-axis asymmetric large-area reflecting mirrors made of BK7 glass. The size of the parts, such as asymmetric large-area mirrors or lens, made form-accuracy or roughness especially hard to measure after machining because of the measuring range limit of measurement devices. In this study, the ELID grinding system has been set up for mirror-surface machining experiments manufacturing off-axis asymmetric lenses. A measuring method using a reference workpiece has been suggested to measure the form-accuracy and roughness. According to the experimental results, even when using only a reference workpiece, it is confirmed that the surface roughness was 8 nmRa and form-accuracy was 80 nmRMS, with a best fit asymmetric radius when using a grinding wheel of #8,000. It is found that the accuracy of large-area parts could be estimated by the proposed process.

수소충전소 계량 정확도 향상을 위한 거래량 산출 모델 연구 (A Study on the Transaction Volume Calculation model for Improving the Measurement Accuracy of Hydrogen Fuelling Station)

  • With the expansion of domestic hydrogen fuelling station infrastructure, it is necessary to secure reliability among hydrogen traders, and for this, technology to accurately measure hydrogen is important. In this study, 4 types of hydrogen trading volume calculation models (model 1-4) were presented to improve the accuracy of the hydrogen trading volume. In order to obtain the reference value of model 4, and experiment was conducted using a flow rate measurement equipment, and the error rate of the calculated value for each model was compared and analyzed. As a result, model 1 had the lowest metering accuracy, model 2 had the second highest metering accuracy and model 3 had the highest metering accuracy until a certain point. But after the point, model 2 had the highest metering accuracy and model 3 had the second metering accuracy.

  • Inspecting the dimensional accuracy of a car-body in assembly line is a very important process to assure high productivity. Now there exist two common inspecting methods in practice. One is to measure a sampled car-body with three dimensional measuring machine, and the other is to measure car-body with three dimensional measuring machine, and the other is to measure car-body in assembly line using many sensors fixed to a large jig frame. The formal method takes too long to inspect a sampled car-body of a same sort, and cannot therefore give an useful error trend for the whole production. On the other hand, the latter lacks flexibility and is very cost-intensive. By using industrial robots and sensors, an in-line Car-Body Measuring(CBM) system which ensured high flexiblity and sufficient accuracy was developed. This CBM cell operates in real production line and measures the check points by the non-contact type using camera and laser displacement sensor(LDS). This system can handle about 15 Measuring points within a cycle time of 40 seconds. A process computer controls whole process such as data acquisition file handling and data analysis. Robot arms changes in length due to ambient temperature fluctuation affecting the measuring accuracy. To compensate this error, a robot arm calibration process was developed.

  • 선박 건조 시장의 요구를 맞추기 위하여 신속한 건조의 목표로 노력하고 있는 조선소가 선박 정도관리에 대한 요구가 갈수록 높아지고 있다. 선박 건조 공정에서 생산성의 향상과 생산 주기의 단축을 위하여 선박 부재의 정도평가를 전 주기에서 수행해야 하는 것은 중요하다. 선박의 품질을 높이기 위하여 조선소에서 블록의 정도제어를 수행하는 것은 선박의 건조 주기를 단축할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 건조 비용도 줄일 수 있다. 선박 블록의 정도를 제어하는 중심은 선박 블록 통합 정도관리 시스템을 만들어야 한다. 이 시스템은 "Non-allowance Shipbuilding"의 목표로 정도관리의 총괄성, 블록 정도의 향상, 정도 관리 과정의 표준화 등이 이루어져야 한다. 일반적으로 정도관리를 수행하는 관리자가 광파측정기를 이용하여 선박 블록의 접합면에 있는 주요 포인트(vital point)를 측정하고 수집하지만 무거운 계측장비를 가지고 블록의 정도관리를 수행하는 것은 불편할 뿐만 아니라 시간도 오래 걸린다. 본 논문에서는 선박 블록의 정도관리 시간을 단축할 수 있는 포인트 클라우드 기반으로 3차원 레이저 스캐너를 이용한 선박 블록 탑재 전에 오차예측 방법을 제안하였다. 이 방법은 ICP(iterative closest point) 알고리즘으로 측정된 포인트 클라우드와 설계된 점들의 비교 작업을 수행한 다음에 허용범위 내의 오차를 만족하는 지를 판단한다.

  • A laser vision system is developed to measure the three-dimensional feature of an object. This system consists of two low cost cameras and a cross laser. One camera and a cross laser are used to measure a plane equation of an object. Using this information, the other camera measures a hole size of an object. The proposed system provides 0.05 mm accuracy measurement systems with relatively low cost.

  • A sensor system was developed to measure displacement of civil structure at a long distance. A He-Ne Laser tube and photodiodes ware used for non-contact measurement. This system allows real time vibration displacement measurement of bridges. The measured displacement data is displayed on computer monitor graphically and also in digit. The accuracy of the displacement measurement shows 2mm in vertical vibration. It shows remote inspection of the vibration of long bridges and buildings.

Location Template Matching(LTM) 방법에 사용되는 유사성 척도들의 비교 연구 (Comparative Study on the Measures of Similarity for the Location Template Matching(LTM) Method)

  • The location template matching(LTM) method is a technique of identifying an impact location on a structure, and requires a certain measure of similarity between two time signals. In general, the correlation coefficient is widely used as the measure of similarity, while the group delay based method is recently proposed to improve the accuracy of the impact localization. Another possible measure is the frequency response assurance criterion(FRAC), though this has not been applied yet. In this paper, these three different measures of similarity are examined comparatively by using experimental data in order to understand the properties of these measures of similarity. The comparative study shows that the correlation coefficient and the FRAC give almost the same information while the group delay based method gives the shape oriented information that is best suitable for the location template matching method.

  • The shape of small or curved object is usually reconstructed using a single camera by moving its lens position to find a sequence of the focused images. Most conventional methods have used a window with fixed shape to test the focus measure, which resulted in a deterioration of accuracy. To solve this problem, this paper proposes a new approach of using a shape adaptive window. It estimates the shape of the object at every step and applies the same shape of window to calculate the focus measure. Focus measure is based on the variance of the pixels inside the window. This paper includes the experimental results.
