고정밀 회전체의 불평형 변동에 따른 회전정밀도 영향에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Rotation Accuracy According to Unbalance Variation of High Precision Spindle Unit for Machine Tool)

  • The spindle unit is a core part in high precision machine tool. Rotation accuracy of spindle unit is needed for high dignity cutting and improving the performance of machine tool. However, there are many factors to effect to rotational error motion(rotation accuracy). This study studied how rotational error motion is variation when unbalance amount is variation. Rotation accuracy of initial spindle unit is decided depending on parts and assembly such as bearing. When it is rotation, vibration and noise is appeared depending on volume of unbalance amount, so it works to decrease unbalance amount. The purpose of the study tests that unbalance amount how much effects to initial rotation condition. The result of the study shows that accuracy of parts and assembly is highly necessary to reach high rotation accuracy and unbalance amount hardly effects to initial rotation accuracy. However, it shorten spindle's life because vibration and noise is increasing by increasing unbalance amount and we can expect situation that rotation accuracy is falling by long time operation.

Dysfunction of Time Perception in Children and Adolescents with Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder

  • Objectives: Children with attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) may have deficits in time perception, as assessed by the time estimation task and the time reproduction task, however its age-related trajectory is not yet determined. Therefore we examined the correlation between accuracy of time perception tasks and age, and the association between accuracy of estimation tasks and reproduction tasks. Methods: Sixty-three patients with ADHD, aged 8 to 18 years tested the tasks for five time durations (2, 4, 12, 45, and 60 seconds). Accuracy of tasks was assumed differences (absolute values) between raw results of tasks and original time durations. Spearman's correlation analysis was performed to determine correlation between accuracy of time perception tasks and age. Multivariate regression was used to determine the association of accuracy of estimation tasks with accuracy of reproduction tasks. Results: Age showed correlation with accuracy of estimation tasks, but not with that of reproduction tasks. We observed that the higher the accuracy in 12, 45, and 60 seconds duration time reproduction, the higher the accuracy in longer seconds duration time estimation. Conclusion: Age was correlated with time estimation accuracy whereas there was no impact on time reproduction accuracy. Association of each of the two time perception tasks, particularly in longer time duration, suggested specific impairments in time perception.

데오드라이트 시스템의 측정 정확도에 대한 연구(IV) - 시준거리 4m에서의 기준자 거리에 따른 측정 정도 (A Study on Measurement System Accuracy of Theodolite System(IV) - A Measurement System Accuracy depending on a Distance of Scale Bar on the Distance 4m between two Theodolites)

  • An accuracy of theodolite system may be affected by a measurement environment and a measurement distance change from theodolite to scale bar and/or targets. This study was performed for measuring an accuracy when the distance from thodolite system to scale bar was changed $2\~6m$ on the distance 4m between two theodolites. The results showed that an accuracy was ${\pm}0.025mm$ or better when the distance from theodolite system to targets was 3, 4 and 5m. According to the results, it was found that the best distance from theodolite system to scale bar was $3\~4m$ when the collimation distance was $3\~4m$.

고속주축의 회전정밀도 성능평가에 관한 연구 (A Sudy on the Ealuation of Rtational Acuracy of Hgh Seed Sindle)

  • For evaluation of rotational accuracy performance of high speed machine tool spindle system, the characteristics of main spindle and tool motion behavior are presented by means of three point accuracy testing method. The results of experiments and analyses are as follows: (1) The high speed spindle rotational accuracy can be evaluated by the combination of the spindle and tool motion behavior. (2) The spindle motion behavior increases up to more that 4 times the tool motion behavior. (3) For the influence of oil viscosity on spindle and tool taper application, 32 cSt of oil viscosity showed the most satisfactory result for rotational accuracy. (4) In order to improve the rotational accuracy of high speed machine tool spindle system, it is needed to reduce the combination error. This can be achieved by improving the working accuracy and supplying the proper lubrication with contact area at the spindle and tool.

총기 경사도에 따른 명중률 변화에 관한 연구 (A Study on Variation of an Accuracy Rate as the Gradient of a Pistol)

  • In this paper, a study on variation of an accuracy rate as the gradient of a rifle is shown. In the a state of hostilities, a soldier is not easy to take a shot vertically against the ground. If a soldier shoots as the pistol is inclined, how the accuracy rate is changed. While the pistol is shot, the change of ballistic curve is estimated. And we also verify the accuracy rate through the firing test. Then we compare two results and present some ideas which overcome the decrease of an accuracy rate. Hereafter, it is possible to adapt in the future soldier system and expected that the accuracy rate of the conventional gun is maintained.

Do Analyst Practices and Broker Resources Affect Target Price Accuracy? An Empirical Study on Sell Side Research in an Emerging Market

  • This paper attempts to measure the impact of non-financial factors including analyst practices and broker resources on performance of sell side research. Results reveal that these non-financial factors have a measurable impact on performance of target price forecasts. Number of pages written by an analyst (surrogate for analyst practice) is significantly and directly linked with target price accuracy indicating a more elaborate analyst produces better target price forecasts. Analyst compensation (surrogate for broker resource) is significantly and inversely linked with target price accuracy. Out performance by analysts working with lower paying firms is possibly associated with motivation to migrate to higher paying broking firms. The study finds that employing more number of analysts per research report has no significant impact on target price accuracy -negative coefficient indicates that team work may not result in better target price forecasts. Though insignificant, long term forecast horizon negatively affects target price accuracy while stock volatility improves target price accuracy.

  • A non-contact precision measurement system is a theodolite system, a laser tacker and a photogrammetry system etc. Nowadays, the system reaches to a limit of measurement accuracy required from industrial product of middle and large scale. The one of the solutions for this problem is to maximize the accuracy of the existing measurement system. According to it we performed the study far a measurement accuracy of theodolite system when the distance between two theodolites is changed 1m to 5m. We could blow that the changes of distance affect the measurement accuracy of theodolite system and that the maximum measurement accuracy is $\pm$ 0.02 mm on theodolite distance 3∼4 m.

  • In general, the radial error motion of a machine tool spindle system is effected on the accuracy of the parts to be made. This paper presents in milling process an investigation into spindle rotational accuracy effects on surface roughness of processing parts. We experimented the effects on spindle rotational accuracy in milling process by cutting AL 7075 workpiece at various rotational speed. In order to analyze the effects of rotational accuracy on surface roughness, we proposed the method using iSIGHT's RBF Approximation. The proposed method can be used fur anticipating the surface roughness when some spindle rotational accuracy experiments could be done in milling process.

  • In general a square master and a dial gauge are used to measure the axis squareness on the spot. This method is a comparison measurement and its accuracy depends on the square accuracy wholly. Therefore the accuracy of a square master is very important and it is impossible that the accuracy of a square measurement is superior to the accuracy of a square master. In this paper, the new method of square measurement is proposed for measuring square without a square master and easily. This method is an absolute measurement by using a reversal method and can be used to measurement the accuracy of a square master.

Accuracy analysis of flood forecasting of a coupled hydrological and NWP (Numerical Weather Prediction) model

  • Flooding is one of the most serious and frequently occurred natural disaster at many regions around the world. Especially, under the climate change impact, it is more and more increasingly trend. To reduce the flood damage, flood forecast and its accuracy analysis are required. This study is conducted to analyze the accuracy of the real-time flood forecasting of a coupled meteo-hydrological model for the Han River basin, South Korea. The LDAPS (Local Data Assimilation and Prediction System) products with the spatial resolution of 1.5km and lead time of 36 hours are extracted and used as inputs for the SURR (Sejong University Rainfall-Runoff) model. Three statistical criteria consisting of CC (Corelation Coefficient), RMSE (Root Mean Square Error) and ME (Model Efficiency) are used to evaluate the performance of this couple. The results are expected that the accuracy of the flood forecasting reduces following the increase of lead time corresponding to the accuracy reduction of LDAPS rainfall. Further study is planed to improve the accuracy of the real-time flood forecasting.
