  • A system, featuring the hybrid isolator for control in the vertical direction, of active microvibration control was proposed. The main components of this system are a stage vibration isolation table with built-in acceleration sensors for detecting microvibration, hybrid isolators and a digital controller with high precision signal converters. The vibration control algorithm is focused on settling-time critical application and feedback/feedforward combination.

  • These days, industrial robots are required to have high speed and high precision in doing various tasks. Recently, the adaptive control algorithms for those nonlinear robots have been developed. With spatial vector space, these adaptive algorithms including recursive implementation are simply described. Without sensing joint acceleration and computing the inversion of inertia matrix, these algorithms which include P.D. terms and feedforward terms have global tracking convergence. In this paper, the feasibility of the proposed control method is illustrated by applying to 2 DOF SCARA robot in DSP(Digital Signal Processing).

  • In this paper, a model reference adaptive control algorithm is applied to the design of the normal acceleration controller for missiles with nonminimum-phase characteristics. The method used in this paper is due to Ohkubo. In this scheme, a feedforward compensator is designed first so that the extended system becomes minimum-phase and after that an adaptive control algorithms is designed for the extended system. The feedforwrd compensator is obtained by solving the robust stabilization problem. It is shown that the performance of the designed controller is satisfied via computer simulation.

  • This paper presents an effective trajectory planning algorithm for industrial robot manipulators. Given the end-effector trajectory in Cartesian space, together with the relevant constraints and task specifications, the proposed method is capable of planning the optimum end-effector trajectory. The proposed trajectory planning algorithm considers the joint acceleration limit, end-effector velocity limits, and trajectory allowance. A feedforward compensator is also incorporated in the proposed algorithm to counteract the delay in joint dynamics. The algorithm is carefully designed so that it can be directly adopted with the existing industrial manipulators. The proposed algorithm can be easily programmed for various tasks given the specifications and constraints. A three-dimensional test trajectory was planned with the proposed algorithm and tested with the Performer MK3s industrial manipulator. The results verified effective manipulator performance within the constraints.

퍼지로직과 모델추종제어를 이용한 4륜 조향 차량에 관한 연구 (A Study on a 4WS Vehicle Using Fuzzy Logic and Model Following Control)

  • This paper develops a 3 DOF vehicle model which includes lateral, roll and yaw motion to study a 4WS vehicle. The model is used for the simulation of a 4WS vehicle behavior, and to derive a control algorithm for rear wheel steering. This paper uses a feedforward plus feedback control scheme to compute a rear wheel steering angle. The feedforward control scheme for computing the first rear wheel steering angle uses a gain which is acquired by multiplying a proper value on a gain to maintain a zero sideslip angle. The feedback control scheme for computing the second rear wheel steering angle uses fuzzy logic and model following control scheme. A linear 2 DOF model is used as a reference model for model following control, and is derived from the developed 3 DOF model by neglecting sprung mass roll motion. A reference state variable is yaw rate, and is computed using the linear 2 DOF model. J-turn and lane change maneuver simulation are performed to show the effectiveness of the developed control scheme. The simulation results show that the 4WS vehicle with the developed control scheme has much better performance in yaw rate, lateral acceleration, roll angle, and sideslip angle than the 2WS vehicle. Also, the results show that the performance of the developed control is close to the one of an optimal control which assumes all states are perfect.

  • 가속도계 신호를 대상으로 패턴 인식을 행하는 연구에서 공통적으로 사용될 수 있는 끝점 검출 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 연구 결과물은 추가적인 단추 등을 부착하여 수동으로 구분하거나, 고성능 고주파 대역 필터 등의 사용으로 알고리즘 상에서 필히 시간 지연이 발생하며 또한 알고리즘 구현상 여러 매개 변수 및 이를 위한 문턱값이 존재하였다. 본 논문에서는 가속도의 일계도 미분의 시퀀스를 입력 벡터로 사용하여, 시계열 데이터 예측과 유사한 형태로 focused Time Lagged Feedforward Network(TLFN)을 설계, 이를 학습시키는 방법을 제안 하였다. 제안한 방법을 글자 궤적에 대해 적용하여 신뢰도 있는 끝점 검출 성능과 실시간 응답 특성을 확인하였다.

  • Recently, increasing attention has been paid to the application of learning control method to robot manipulator control. Because the learning control method does not require an exact dynamic model, it is flexible and easy to implement. In this paper, we implement a learning control scheme which consists of a unique feedforward learning controller and a linear feedback controller. The learning control method does not require acceleration terms that are sensitive to noise and has the capability of rejecting unknown disturbances and adapting itself to time-varying system parameters. The feasibility of the learning control scheme is soon by implementing the control scheme to a commercial robot manipulator and the performance of which is also compared with the conventional linear PID control method.

  • An iterative learning control scheme for exact-tracking control and parameter estimation of uncertain robotic systems is presented. In the learning control structure, tracking and feedforward input converge globally and asymptotically as iteration increases. Since convergence of parameter errors depends only on the persistent exciting condition of system trajectories along the iteration independently of length of trajectories, it may be achieved with only system trajectories of small duration. In addition, these learning control schemes are expected to be effectively applicable to time-varying parametric systems as well as time-invariant systems, for the parameter estimation is performed at each fixed time along the iteration. Finally, no usage of acceleration signal and no in version of estimated inertia matrix in the parameter estimator makes these learning control schemes more feasible.

  • This paper presents a new speed control method using the acceleration feedforward compensation and using the disturbance torque estimate method. The proposed method improve transition response characteristic of system and has been a robust characteristic in the four-switch three-phase motor drive system in which the gain of speed controller cannot be made large enough. The simulation results prove the validity of the proposed method.

대부하 표적지향 시스템의 정밀 제어 기법 연구 (A Study on Precision Control of a Heavy Load Pointing System)

  • In this study, the performance of a heavy load pointing system has been investigated. The PI controller are being widely used in industrial application because of simple, cheap, and excellent performance. However, the requirement for control precision becomes higher and higher, as well as the plants becomes more and more complex. In order to achieve the satisfied control performance, we have to consider the affection of nonlinear factor contained in plant. In this paper, the neural-PI control law have been evaluated. The proposed controller is compared with the existing controllers through simulations, and the results show that the pointing accuracy of the proposed control system is improved against the disturbance induced by vehicle running on the bump course.
