복심곡선 레일이상마모 발생 저감 사례 (The Reduction Case of Occurrence of Abnormal Wearing of Rail in Compound Curve Part)

  • Rail provides running tract for train and broadly and widely conveys the weight of the train exerted from the train wheels that the rail directly supports onto the cross tie and roadbed, and supports the cross-sectional pressure exerted by centrifugal force at curvatures. That is, stationary rail provides surface on which dynamic train runs and guarantees cross-sectional resistance to enable the vertical snake motion of the train wheels as well as to maintain lateral force at curvatures. Rail provides running surface on which train wheels can run smoothly, and secures vertical and lateral force. However, it undergoes continuous destructive reactions (wearing and damages) and abrasion of the cladding by the train wheels. It is obvious that wearing will result when two metal parts act against each other. However, occurrence of abnormal wearing such as rapid wearing of the rail side due to complex generation of various mechanisms at the contact surface between the rail and train wheel flange. It is not easy to simply examine the causes of occurrence of abnormal wearing of rail and train wheel flange. Although countless number of academicians and specialists are conducting researches on abnormal wearing of rail and vertical wearing of train wheels, I believe it is too early to argue on pros and cons due to insufficiency of officially verified information on the issue. This review will be focusing on the examples of repairs that reduced the generation of abnormal wearing of rail by reviewing and improving characteristics of wearing and slack, speed of the train and cant as well as status of lubricator by choosing the compound curves present in the section between the $Anguk{\sim}Jongno3-ga$ Stations of the Route No. 3 among the compound curve tracks of the Seoul Metro Routes No. 3 & 4 at which abnormal wearing is generated continuously.

브랜드앱(Branded App)의 사용의도에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 : 기술수용 모델(TAM)을 중심으로 (An Investigation of Factors Affecting Consumer Intention to Use Branded App : Focused on Technology Acceptance Model(TAM))

  • As the smart phone devices gain popularity, companies no longer consider mobile application marketing as an auxiliary marketing tactic. The branded mobile application (branded app) becomes an important part of marketing strategies. This study is an attempt to investigate antecedents of the use intention of the branded app from the perspective of TAM (Technology Acceptance Model). This study takes a macro perspective in explaining the adoption process by incorporating a set of new, yet promising additional variables into the TAM model such as flow experience, benefits, innovation inclination, and customization features. Data were collected by using a survey research. A total of 270 responses were collected. Questionnaires from 25 individuals were removed from the data set due to the insincere responses, leaving the final sample size of 245. Findings support all but one hypotheses of the study. Both perceived utilitarian benefits and customization features of the branded app were found to have positive influences on the perceived usefulness of the branded app. Also, the innovation inclination and perceived entertainment of branded app users showed positive influences on the perceived ease of use of branded app. In addition, it was shown that the perceived usefulness about the use of the branded app influenced positively the flow experience and the users' attitudes toward branded app. Also, the ease of use perceived by branded app users had positive influences on the perceived usefulness and the user's attitude toward branded app. However, the ease of use of branded app did not have a significant influence on the flow experience among users. Moreover, the flow experience from the use of branded app users influenced positively the user's attitude toward branded app. Finally, the users' attitudes toward branded app had positive influences on their intention to use the branded app. Implications for practitioners and academicians are provided.

의료기기 안전에 관한 대학병원 의료인들의 인식과 행동에 관한 연구 (Perception and Behavior Regarding the Safety of Medical Devices among Medical Personnel at a Tertiary Care Hospital)

  • 본 연구는 의료기기 안전성에 관한 의료인들의 인식(지식, 태도)과 행동에 관한 기초현황을 파악하여 보고, 직종 간 차이를 평가해보기 위한 탐색적 조사연구이다. 인천광역시에 소재한 900병상 규모의 상급종합병원을 대상으로 설문지를 배포하여 220명의 응답 자료를 분석에 사용하였다. 연구결과, 연구대상 의료인들은 대체적으로 의료기기 종류에 따른 잠재적 위험성에 대한 인식이 갖춰져 있고, 의료기기 안전성 교육의 필요성을 느끼고 있었다. 또한 의료진들의 직종 간 의료기기 안전성에 관한 인식의 차이를 살펴봤을 때, 등급 높은 의료기기를 주로 사용하지만 의료기기 안전에 관한 인식이 가장 낮은 전공의를 대상으로 하는 의료기기 안전교육의 필요성이 크다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 향후 전국규모의 연구를 통하여 자료의 질을 향상하고 결과의 수준을 높이며, 이를 바탕으로 의료기기 안전성 관리에 있어 정책적, 교육적 기반으로 활용할 필요가 있다.

  • 본 연구는 국내 대학 및 소속을 두고 있는 한국 IS 연구자의 연구실적을 측정하였다. 본 연구자들은 선행연구에 기반해 MIS Quarterly(MISQ), Information Systems Research(ISR), Journal of Management Information Systems(JMlS), Journal of the Association for Information Systems(JAIS), European Journal of Information Systems(EJIS), Information Systems Journal(ISJ), Decision Support Systems(DSS), Communications of the Association for Information Systems(CAIS), Information and Management(I&M), Journal of Strategy Information Systems(JSlS), Journal of Information Technology(JIT) 11 개 선도 저널을 선정하였고, 2007년부터 2009년까지 출판된 한국 IS 연구자의 논문을 싸이언토메트릭 기법을 통해 측정하였다. 본 연구결과는 한국 IS 연구자의 우수한 연구실적에 대한 정보를 제공함으로써 우수 연구자의 파악 및 채용 정보 획득에 도움을 줄 것이고, 더불어 신입생 유치에 있어 학교와 학과의 우수성을 홍보하는데 자료를 제공해 줄 것이다. 본 연구는 한국 IS 연구자의 연구실적 측정에 대한 연구가 드믄 실정에서 연구의 독창성이 존재하며, 한국 IS 연구자의 논문 출판 추세를 이해하는데 도움을 제공할 것이다.

Economics During Global Recession: Sharia-Economics as a Post COVID-19 Agenda

  • This research is a literacy study regarding the implementation and management of the economic role of haria as a new strategy in overcoming the problem of the global financial crisis that has hit the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. The research method comes from previous studies to compare the capitalist, socialist, and sharia economic systems. In response to various economic uncertainties, both internal and external, the ability to seize opportunities and transform has become the key to economic resilience. Islamic economics can be an alternative in responding to the dynamics of the global and national economy. Several things need to be taken into consideration in fulfilling the sharia economy and the primary strategy chosen must come from the inputs given by the stakeholders, including business actors, associations, regulators as well as experts, and academicians. The primary strategy in implementing the sharia economy also requires the support of various parties in order to develop sustainability. Strengthening regulation and governance is one of the fundamental factors. Optimization of the sharia economy based social sector such as Zakat, Infaq, Sadaqah, and Waqaf can be optimized both for collection and distribution so that the concept of sharing can certainly support the development and the economy both nationally and globally.

서비스실패와 고객이탈간 연결에서 고객-기업 관계특성의 조정적 역할 - 가구단위의 연속적 서비스를 중심으로 - (Moderating Role of Customer-Firm Relationship Characteristics In Service Failures and Customer Defection Link)

  • 기업들이 장기간에 걸쳐 고객관계를 구축하고 관리하여야 할 필요성이 증가함에 따라 고객이탈은 고객생애가치 관점에서 중요성이 점증하고 있다. 이에 대하여 Keaveney(1995)는 서비스 상황에서 고객이탈 및 전환행동에 서비스실패가 가장 주요한 요소임을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구는 Keaveney(1995) 연구를 확장하여 기존 고객들은 서비스실패 상황에서 고객-기업 관계특성의 차이에 따라 서비스실패에 대한 평가 또는 만족에 차이를 보이게 되며 이에 따라 고객이탈이 달라지게 됨을 가구단위의 연속적 서비스 상황을 중심으로 검토하였다. 본 연구에서는 기존의 마케팅 문헌에 대한 고찰을 통하여 고객-기업 관계특성으로서 관계기간, 이용수준, 의사결정영향력, 산업지식 및 전환비용을 조정변수로 도출하였으며, 국내 초고석인터넷서비스 이용고객을 대상으로 실증분석을 수행하였다. 서비스실패를 결과실패와 과정실패로 고찰하여 분석한 결과 이들의 조정변수로서의 역할이 검증되었다. 본 연구는 이론적으로 서비스실패와 고객이탈과의 관계에서 다양한 고객-기업 관계특성이 조정변수로 작용하고 있음을 검토하였으며, 실무적으로 기존고객의 고객-기업 관계특성에 대한 고객정보 구축 및 이의 효율적 실행을 통하여 고객이탈을 방지할 수 있음을 제시하였다.

Assessment and quantification of hurricane induced damage to houses

  • Significant costs to the public and private sectors due to recent extreme wind events have motivated the need for systematic post-hurricane damage data collection and analysis. Current post disaster data are collected by many different interested groups such as government agencies, voluntary disaster relief agencies, representatives of media companies, academicians and companies in the private sector. Each group has an interest in a particular type of data. However, members of each group collect data using different techniques. This disparity in data is not conducive to quantifying damage data and, therefore, inhibits the statistical and spatial description of damage and comparisons of damage among different extreme wind events. The data collection does not allow comparisons of data or results of analyses within a group and also prohibits comparison of damage data and information among different groups. Typically, analyses of data from a given event lead to different conclusion depending upon the definition of damage used by individual investigators and the type of data collected making it difficult for members of groups to compare the results of their analyses with a common language and basis. A formal method of data collection and analysis-within any single group-would allow comparisons to be made among different individuals, hazardous events and eventually among different groups, thus facilitating the management and reduction of damage due to future disaster. This research introduces a definition of damage to single family dwellings, and a common method of data collection and analysis suited for groups interested in regional characterization of damage. The current state-of-data is presented and a method for data collection is recommended based on these existing data collection methods. A fixed-scale damage index is proposed to consider the damage to a dwelling's feature. Finally, the damage index is applied to three dwellings damaged by Hurricane Iniki (1992). The damage index reflects the reduced functionality of a structure as a single family detached dwelling and provides a means to evaluate regional damage due to a single event or to compare damage due to events of different severity. Evaluation of the damage index and the data available support recommendation for future data collection efforts.

SAUDI ARABIAN UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS' PERCEPTIONS OF E-LEARNING QUALITY DURING COVID19 PANDEMIC

  • The quality of the E-learning education in Saudi Arabia has been a major concern by many academicians, especially, and people in general as this platform has not been a priority for education. Not until recently, the world has been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic, which makes every education institution shifted to the online platform to continue the education for the students. Thus, many studies on the perceptions on the online learning have been carried out, and though many are focusing on the perceptions by the education institutions' faculty and administration, there is a lack in the amount of study performed to analyse the students' perceptions of online learning during the pandemic time. The current study is conducted by utilising qualitative methods in order to collect information and investigate the students' perception regarding online learning during the pandemic Covid-19, based on their individual experiences. A number of fifteen (15) students were selected as respondents for the study, in which structured interviews were conducted by using a convenient sampling technique for data collection. Through the discussion, all of the positive and negative perceptions of online learning, as well as the factors contributing to those perceptions were identified. The results of the study found that the positive perceptions were contributed based on the flexibility, cost-effectiveness, availability of the electronic research databases, and well-designed online classroom interfaces. For the negative perceptions from using online learning platforms, the respondents informed that they were contributed by the lecturer's delayed feedback, lack of technical support by lecturers, low in self-esteem and self-motivation, feel isolated, one-way of educational methods, and poorly-designed class materials. Through the findings, the school's administration and lecturers would be able to know the struggles experienced by the students, and eventually come out with better solutions to improve their teaching methods.

이중 부트스트랩 DEA 활용한 미국항만 효율성 분석 (Analysis of U.S. Port Efficiency Using Double-Bootstrapped DEA)

  • 최근 제4차산업 혁명의 적용으로 물류비 절감을 위한 공급사슬 측면의 경쟁이 더욱 치열해지면서 항만전문가들은 효율적인 항만운영 비즈니스모델을 개발에 관심이 집중되어 있다. 본 연구는 세계 여러 항만 중 미국 항만 물류량이 많은 항만을 분석하여 적용 모델을 구성하고자 한다. 본 연구는 주로 미국 항만의 생산성을 연구하기 위해 DEA(Data Enclapment Analysis) 기법을 사용하였으며 미국 항만 운영의 성장 동력을 추가 조사하기 위해 Simar & Wilson(2007)이 제안한 이중 부트스트래핑 DEA 알고리즘을 적용했다. 본 연구에 사용된 외부 변수는 항만의 길이, 항만의 심도, 위치, 면적, 에이커, 외화 비율 및 TEUChange에 포함되며, 이 중 항만의 길이, 에이커, 외화 비율 및 TEUChange에 유의했다. 최적 방법론 선택의 효과를 평가하기 위해 관측 중단 모형(Tobit)을 적용하여 동일한 분석을 수행하고 서로 다른 두 기법에서 도출된 결과를 대조하였다. 본 연구에서 얻은 결과를 바탕으로 경영상의 시사점을 제안하고 결론을 도출하였다.

무역학 분야의 학문후속세대 양성교육에 관한 연구 (A Study on Educating the Next Generation for the Academia of International Trade)

  • 무역학 분야의 신규박사 공급과 관련해서 양적인 측면에서는 특별한 문제가 없지만, 채용수요자가 기대하는 질적 수준을 충족할 수 있을 정도로 제대로 된 교육훈련 과정을 거친 자원은 부족한 편이다. 따라서 이 연구는 무역학 전공교수를 대상으로 양적연구인 설문조사와 질적연구 방법의 하나인 표적집단면접을 통해서 무역학 분야의 학문후속세대 양성교육의 현재 상태에 대한 진단과 발전대안의 모색을 목적으로 한다. 연구결과, 무역 분야의 학문후속세대 양성을 위한 일반대학원 박사과정 교육이 제대로 이루어지기 위해서는 우수한 전일제 지원자를 확보하는 것이 매우 중요하며, 이를 위해서는 충분한 재정적인 지원이 선행되어야 한다. 무역학 분야의 학문후속세대 양성을 목표로 하는 소수의 대학에서는 전일제 대학원생을 중심으로 철저한 교육훈련과 검증을 거쳐서 학위를 수여하고, 직장을 가진 학생들이 주로 입학하는 대학원에서는 박사학위의 질적 관리에 유의할 필요가 있다. 그리고 무역학 분야에서 학위를 취득한 사람에 대한 취업기회 확대를 위해 무역관련 학과에서 신임교원 채용 시 우대할 필요가 있으며, 이들에 대한 수요기관을 확충할 필요가 있다.
