본 논문에서는 음성향상을 위하여 환경잡음분류를 적용한 향상된 음성부재확률 추정방법을 제안한다. 기존의 음성부재확률 추정방법에서는 마이크로폰 입력신호와 추정된 잡음신호 기반의 a posteriori SNR값에 문턱값을 적용하여 음성부재확률을 구하는데 필요한 음성부재의 a priori 확률을 도출하였다. 본 논문에서 제안된 알고리즘은 보다 효과적인 음성부재확률 추정을 위하여 고정된 문턱값과 스무딩 (smoothing)파라미터를 사용하는 기존의 방법과는 달리 잡음분류 알고리즘인 가우시안 혼합 모델 (Gaussian mixture model)을 사용하여 잡음마다 최적화된 파라미터를 적용한다. 제안된 음성 향상 기법은 ITU-T P.862 PESQ (perceptual evaluation of speech quality)와 composite measure를 이용하여 다양한 환경에서 평가하였으며, 제안된 알고리즘이 기존의 음성부재확률 추정방법보다 향상된 결과를 보였다.

최근 스마트 기기를 이용한 전자 출결 시스템에 대한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 전자 출결 시스템을 이용하여 교수는 실시간으로 학생들의 출결 처리와 출석 기록을 관리할 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 기존의 자동식별 및 데이터 획득(AIDC, Automatic Identification and Data Capture) 기반의 전자 출결 시스템의 한계점인 공간적, 시간적, 비용적 문제점을 해결할 수 있는 전자 출결 시스템을 제안하였다. 제안하는 시스템은 웹 서버로 동작하며 HTML5(Hyper Text Markup Language ver.5) 기반으로 작성된 출결 관리 페이지에 개인이 가진 스마트 기기를 통한 접속한 후 서버-클라이언트 이미지 데이터 전송 기술을 이용하여 실시간 전자 출결이 가능한 장점이 있다. 또한 제안 시스템은 파이썬 플라스크 프레임워크를 기반으로 동작하기 때문에 운영체제에 상관없이 설치 및 운용이 가능한 장점을 가진다.

Although individual-level factors (e.g., attitudes, personality) have long been associated with day-to-day attendance decisions, increasingly researchers have recognized "the social nature of attendance dynamics and their susceptibility to social control (Johns, 2008)." Implications of this social approach for research would be to focus attention on the causes and effects of absence culture (i.e., absence-related perceptions, beliefs, values), and the effects of absence culture on individual and group attendance within social units. Construction projects typically require workers to work in teams or crews on highly interdependent projects, and, thus, are particularly relevant contexts to study absence culture. In this paper we apply a system dynamics (SD) model to study absence culture by utilizing the advantages of SD in capturing a feedback process and state changes. We were particularly interested in: (a) the awareness of social norms within construction crews that pertained to attendance, (b) the interplay between formal attendance rules (policy) and these social norms, and (c) how these sources of influence affected the decision-making process of construction crew members. We expect that the results of this work will help construction organizations evaluate (or re-consider) the effects of their attendance control policies (e.g., timing, strength, and frequency) within a social context. Moreover, our findings suggest that the key to reducing excessive absences might be to invest time in influencing absence culture directly rather than imposing frequent and strict regulations - which, in turn, may inadvertently fortify a culture that works against the organization's interests.

이 연구는 지역축제기록물관리의 중요성을 인식하고, 한국에서 가장 오랫동안 지속된 축제 중 하나인 춘향제를 중심으로 남원 춘향제 기록물관리현황에 대해 조사 분석하였다. 그 결과 나타난 문제점에 대한 개선방안을 제시하였다. 춘향제 기록물관리의 문제점은 첫째, 민관협력체제의 부재와 춘향제전위원회의 한시성, 둘째, 축제기록물관련 조례의 부재, 셋째, 체계적인 문서관리의 부재, 넷째, 기록관리 전문인력 및 기록관 운영의 부재로 나타났다. 따라서 춘향제 기록물이 통합적으로 관리될 수 있는 관리방안을 제시하였다.

Rare cases of a congenital absence of the long head of the biceps tendon (LHBT) have been reported, and its incidence is unknown. In a literature review of the congenital absence of the LHBT, only 1 case was associated with posterior shoulder instability and severe posterior glenoid dysplasia. This paper reports the first case of a patient with a bilateral congenital absence of the LHBT with posterior shoulder instability without glenoid dysplasia or posterior glenoid tilt. The patient experienced a traffic accident while holding the gear stick with his right hand. After the accident, a posteroinferior labral tear with paralabral cysts was detected on the magnetic resonance images. The congenital absence of the LHBT was assumed to have affected the posterior instability that possibly increased the susceptibility to a subsequent traumatic posterior inferior labral tear. This case was identified as a posterior inferior tear caused by a traumatic 'gear stick injury'.

Congenital absence of a cervical spine pedicle is a rare clinical entity, and it is usually found incidentally on radiological studies performed after trauma in patients with cervical pain. We report two cases of congenital absence of a cervical spine pedicle and present a review of the literature.

This study examined the role of after-school caregiver absence in the relationship between school adjustment and mobile phone dependency during early adolescence. Sixth grade students(N=1,863) from the nationally representative Korea Child and Youth Panel Study were analyzed using moderated multiple regression models. The results showed that higher school adjustment may be effective in reducing youth mobile phone dependency. There was also a significant interaction effect between school adjustment and high caregiver absence, indicating that the protective role of school adjustment concerning mobile phone dependency may be less effective among youth of highest risk. Policy implications of the results are also discussed.

The thermal degradation pattern of $\alpha$-, ${\gamma}$-and $\delta$-tocopherols in glycerol was investigated during heating at 100~25$0^{\circ}C$ for 5-60 min in the absence of oxyge. The tocopherols and thermally decomposed products were separated by HPLC with a reversed phase $\mu$-Bondapak C18-column. The degradation pattern of $\alpha$-tocopherol during the heating in the absence of oxygen was different from those of ${\gamma}$-and $\delta$-tocopherols. But the degradation patterns of ${\gamma}$-and $\delta$-tocopherols were similar to each other. The residual content of $\alpha$-tocopherol during the heating in the absence of oxygen decreased to the range 12~65% and those of ${\gamma}$-and $\delta$-tocopherols decreased to the range 4~96%. The thermal degradation of tocopherols in the absence of oxygen was less than that in the presence of oxygen.

This study examines the infant crying acoustic characteristics likely to arouse negative emotions and distress in mothers. We used samples of infant crying from three situations (hunger, pain, and the mother's absence) in six healthy infants over six months. We played the recordings of infants crying to 90 mothers in the care of infants and had them self-evaluate emotions and feelings. In addition, the sounds were analyzed acoustically through a CSL4400 to analyze frequency, energy, total expiratory time, and the number of the expirations. In this study, cries due to pain and the absence of the mother caused more unpleasant emotions and irritation in comparison to the infant sounds of hunger. In particular, crying from the absence of the mother caused the most distress. An analysis of these sounds showed that crying in the situations of pain and the absence of the mother were strong in frequency, high energy, and prolonged. These results suggest a relation between infant crying acoustical characteristics and the feelings of distress by the mother.

Agenesis or congenital hypoplasia of skeletal muscles occurs infrequently but may occur with specific conditions such as Poland syndrome. The trapezius muscle can vary in the extent of its bony attachments or may have additional slips, however congenital absence or hypoplasia is extremely rare. There are only a few reports of partial or complete absence of the trapezius muscle. Two cases of bilateral absence of the trapezius were both in males and were accompanied by the absence of additional muscle in the pectoral girdle. Herein, we describe a case of a 56-year-old male cadaver with bilateral hypoplasia of the trapezius. The muscle was largely represented by atrophied muscle fibers with an abundance of fibrotic or fatty connective tissue. This subject had very minor hypoplasia of the left pectoralis major muscle, but the remaining muscles of the pectoral girdle were normal. The spinal accessory nerve terminated in the sternocleidomastoid muscle on both sides, failing to reach the trapezius. We interpret these findings to be consistent with a minor variant of Poland syndrome.
