MB상에 내포된 지속적 개선, 혁신과 학습 개념

  • The learning, which is an extended concept from the concept of continuos improvement and replace it, has become a very important core concept in Malcom Baldridge National Quality Award these days. The most potent core value among 11 core values is 'organizational and personal learning' Embedded learning in the organization is also a critical part to get a high score in approach scoring criteria for 6 categories except results category. But the concept of learning is often overlooked for the people who have interests in MB award or TQM. This paper review and analyze the concept of learning which has appeared In MB criteria since it's first appearance.

한국형 모델 개발을 위한 국가품질상 국제 비교 연구 (A Comparison of Quality Awards Program in the Major G-20 for Developing a Korean National Quality Award Model)

  • To implement total quality management(TQM), firms and institutions have strategically used quality awards models. In this paper we analyzed the national quality awards of G-20 members such as United States, Europe, Japan, Canada, Australia and Korea. There are three main points to analysis; First, "which type of model is good for Korea?", even though Korea already has adopted MBNQA model. Second, "Are the core values really different from each models?". And third, "Is there any difference in the criteria structure and value points system?" This study aims to design a National Quality Award which is good for the Korean companies and organizations. After analyzing the current quality awards models, we propose some suggestion about core value setting Korean-specific criteria development and value points system change.

국제중재판정의 지연이자에 관한 고찰 (A Study of Delay Interest in International Arbitral Awards)

  • Awarding interest in international arbitration remains one of the most challenging areas for tribunals and parties given the myriad of issues that arise. This article seeks to provide an overview of how international arbitral tribunals grant delay interest. It reviews the various issues that international arbitral tribunals face concerning pre-award and post-award interest, determining the appropriate interest rate, surrounding simple or compound interest, and the complex issue of choice of law. A comparative context is provided by surveying the laws of major jurisdictions from both the common law and civil law and the regulations of leading arbitral institutions. It concludes with a review of the law, jurisprudence, and practice in Korea related to delay interest and how Korean tribunals under the KCAB Domestic and International Rules have determined delay interest in recent years.

제18회 대한민국 패키징 대전 수상작 -기업부문- (KOREA STAR WINNER 2024)

  • 산업통상자원부가 주최하고 한국생산기술연구원 패키징기술센터가 주관하는 '제18회 대한민국 패키징 대전(KOREA STAR WINNER 2024)'는 국내 패키징 산업의 기술개발 및 산업 발전에 기여한 유공자를 발굴, 포상해 관련 종사자의 사기 진작과 기술개발 의욕을 고취하고 패키징 산업의 활성화를 도모함으로써 국내 제조업의 경쟁력을 높이기 위해 기획됐다. 올해 포상은 기업부문(21곳), 학생부문(15팀), 공로부문(2명)으로 나뉘어 총 58명(팀)이 수상했다. 수상자들에게는 'ASIA STAR AWARD2 2024'(아시아포장연맹), 'WORLD STAR AWARD 2025)'(세계패키징기구) 등 해외 패키징 포상제도 출품자격이 주어지며 국내 패키징 전문 전시회 특별관 운영을 통해 바이어에게 우수성을 홍보하는 등의 혜택이 제공된다. 이번 호에는 2024년 기업부문 수상작을 소개한다. 이번 수상작들이 패키징 산업의 성장을 이끌고 변화하는 산업환경 속에서 혁신을 이끌어내길 기대해본다.
