The purpose of this study was to research the design methods to express jacquard design using CAD. For this study, two design patterns were divided; in addition, each design pattern is applied to two different weaving types, single woven fabric and double well cloths. As a result, 16 samples were produced by applying 4 design methods (warp shrunk as half size design/weft shrunk as half size design - A, warp shrunk as half size design/weft original size design - B, warp original size design/weft shrunk as half size design - C, warp original size design/weft original size design - D) to the two design patterns with the two weaving types. The result of this study can be summarized as follows. 1. The most delicate design method was Method D. However, Method B which took half the time less than Method D was almost as delicate as the Method D on the surface. 2. Method B was judged as a considerably efficient method for time and cost. 3. Method D was considered as most suitable for elaborate parts and delicate lines. However, it was considered uneconomical since it took the longest time. 4. Mettled A took 2.5 times less time than Method D. Therefore, Method A was more applicable to producing high density design. 5. Method C is not considered as a useful method as it showed rough surface and took long time by applying high design zoom except intentional design.
This study analyses and discusses on the characteristic and the origin of the exhaustion method caused by the controversy over whether that method succeeded to the Antiphone's complete exhaustion idea and whether that method is similar to the method of limits. First, this study analyses 'principle of exhaustion method' which play an important role in that method in order to grasp the local characteristic of it. And this study speculates the origin of the exhaustion method by considering the time and situation of appearance and looking through the local characteristic of it. Also, this study takes a view of the overall characteristic of the exhaustion method by inquiring into the process of actual application of 'principle of exhaustion method' in a proof. As these results, this study reveals that the exhaustion method uprose not as a succession of Antiphone's idea but as a reaction to its idea, and that the exhaustion method has the recognized character of 'finitude' as distinct from the method of limits.

Of the 17,106 domestic reservoirs(as of December 2020), 14,611 are older than 50 years, and these old reservoirs will gradually increase over time. The injection grouting method is most applied to the reinforcement method of the aging reservoir. However, the injection grouting method is not accurate in uniformity and reinforced area. An laboratory model test was conducted to evaluate the applicability of the deep mixing method, which compensated for these shortcomings, as a reservoir reinforcement method. As a result of calculating the hydraulic conductiveity for each method through the model test results, the injection grouting method was calculated as a hydraulic conductiveity value that was about 7.5 times larger than that of the deep mixing method. As a result of measuring the water level change in the laboratory model test, it was found that the water level change decreased in the injection method and deep mixing method compared to the non-reinforcement method. In addition, deep mixing method showed a water level change of about 15% based on 40 hours compared to the injection method, indicating that the water-reducing effect was superior to that of the injection method.
To develop the efficient numerical optimization method for the design of an airfoil, an evaluation of various methods coupled with two-dimensional Naviev-Stokes analysis is presented. Simplex method and Hook-Jeeves method we used as direct search methods, and steepest descent method, conjugate gradient method and DFP method are used as indirect search methods and are tested to determine the search direction. To determine the moving distance, the golden section method and cubic interpolation method are tested. The finite volume method is used to discretize two-dimensional Navier-Stokes equations, and SIMPLEC algorithm is used for a velocity-pressure correction method. For the optimal design of two-dimensional airfoil, maximum thickness, maximum ordinate of camber line and chordwise position of maximum ordinate are chosen as design variables, and the ratio of drag coefficient to lift coefficient is selected as an objective function. From the results, it is found that conjugate gradient method and cubic interpolation method are the most efficient for the determination of search direction and the moving distance, respectively.

The Primal-Dual Interior-Point (PDIP) method is currently one of the fastest emerging topics in optimization. This method has become an effective solution algorithm for large scale nonlinear optimization problems. such as the electric Optimal Power Flow (OPF) and natural gas and electricity OPF. This study describes major theoretical developments of the PDIP method as well as practical issues related to implementation of the method. The Interaction Picture (IP) method is a valuable alternative to Split-step methods for solving certain types of partial differential equations such as the nonlinear Schr$\ddot{o}$dinger equation or the Gross-Pitaevskii equation. Although very similar to the Symmetric Split-step (SS) method in its inner computational structure, the IP method results from a change of unknown and therefore do not involve approximation such as the one resulting from the use of a splitting formula. In its standard form the IP method such as the SS method is used in conjunction with the classical 4th order Runge-Kutta (RK) scheme. However it appears to be relevant to look for RK scheme of higher order so as to improve the accuracy of the IP method. In this paper we investigate 5th order Embedded Runge-Kutta schemes suited to be used in conjunction with the IP method and designed to deliver a local error estimation for adaptive step size control.
From fast service enlargement of the latest economy and industry, importance of service industry is embossed gradually. Service enterprise is pushing on in service quality elevation for strengthening competitiveness to survive on globalization society as manufacturing industry. Service quality elevation adapts as core competitive strategy in enterprise with business environment as continuous competitive advantage. Because Public organization also is developed in service fast, Public organization is trying to offer various service such as service level of enterprise. Each Public organization are trying to satisfy request of citizens as Customer. In this study, presented Kano-Servqual Method which is mixed by Kano's and Servqual model's advantage, each Method had used much in service quality measurement separately. Kano-Servqual Method is applied to the A information library as a public organization and is proved as practical useful method.
In order to analyze general three dimensional cracks in an infinite body, the symmetric Galerkin boundary element method formulated by Li and Mear is used. A crack is modelled as distribution of displacement discontinuities, and the governing equation is formulated as singularity-reduced integral equations. With the proposed method several example problems for three dimensional cracks in an infinite solid, as well as their growth under fatigue, are solved and the accuracy and efficiency of the method are demonstrated.
The effective cross sections (XSs) in the direct whole core calculation code nTRACER are evaluated by the equivalence theory-based resonance-integral-table method using the WIMS-based library as an alternative to the subgroup method. The background XSs, as well as the Dancoff correction factors, were evaluated by the enhanced neutron-current method. A method, with pointwise microscopic XSs on a union-lethargy grid, was used for the generation of resonance-interference factors (RIFs) for mixed resonant absorbers. This method was modified by the intermediate-resonance approximation by replacing the potential XSs for the non-absorbing moderator nuclides with the background XSs and neglecting the resonance-elastic scattering. The resonance-escape probability was implemented to incorporate the energy self-shielding effect in the spectrum. The XSs were improved using the proposed method as compared to the narrow resonance infinite massbased method. The RIFs were improved by 1% in $^{235}U$, 7% in $^{239}Pu$, and >2% in $^{240}Pu$. To account for thermal feedback, a new feature was incorporated with the interpolation of pre-generated RIFs at the multigroup level and the results compared with the conventional resonance-interference model. This method provided adequate results in terms of XSs and k-eff. The results were verified first by the comparison of RIFs with the exact RIFs, and then comparing the XSs with the McCARD calculations for the homogeneous configurations, with burned fuel containing a mixture of resonant nuclides at different burnups and temperatures. The RIFs and XSs for the mixture showed good agreement, which verified the accuracy of the RIF evaluation using the proposed method. The method was then verified by comparing the XSs for the virtual environment for reactor applicationbenchmark pin-cell problem, as well as the heterogeneous pin cell containing burned fuel with McCARD. The method works well for homogeneous, as well as heterogeneous configurations.
In this study we prove the mesh-independence principle via Steffensen's method. This principle asserts that when Steffensen's method is applied to a nonlinear equation between some Banach spaces as well as to some finite-dimensional discretization of that equation then the behavior of th discretized process is asymptoti-cally the same as that for the original iteration. Local and semilo-cal convergencve results as well as an error analysis for Steffensen's method are also provided.
