  • The acceleration of the performance of machine tools influences the development of the semi-conductor and optical technology as the development of NC and measurement technology. Because the measurement has been done to unload condition without considering of mechanical stiffness in the case of machining center as we measure the quasi-static error of machine tools on general study people who works on the spot has many problems on the data value. Also there are no satisfiable results until now in spite of many studys about this because the deflections of the table and the shaft supporting a workpiece influence, influence the accuracy of the table and shaft supporting a workpiece influence the accuracy of the workpiece. And there is doubt about the inspection method of measured error. In this paper Therefor we will help working more accurately on the spot by measuring analyzing displaying the defoec-tion of the table and support shaft when we load on the table and the support shaft of machining center using laser interfer-ometer. Also we try to settle new conception of the measurement method and more accurate grasp of the deflection tenden-cy by verifing the tendency of the error measured through the comparison of the simulated error measured through the comparison of the simulated error using ANSYS a common finite element analysis program which is able to measure heat deformation material deformation and error resulted from this study.

  • Bolt-tightened Langevin type vibrators using longitudinal mode of bar were designed and fabricated. In order to amplify the displacement of the tip of the vibrators, stacked ceramics were used and five different shapes of the horns were designed and fabricated. Resonant frequencies and vibrational characteristics of vibrators and horns were analyzed by ANSYS(finite element analysis computer program), and the displacements of tips of the horns were measured. As results, when the number of the stacked ceramics were increased, the displacements of the tips were increased and the driving voltages were decreased. Step1 horn(BLT-Stl) showed maximum displacement of 36.92[${\mu}m$] at 36.7[kHz] with 45[Vrms] and 0.11[A]. The displacement amplification ratio was about 5.2. But, the stress of step1 horn was concentrated on intersection, where two diameters meet. To lessen the stress, step3 shaped horn is recommended.

  • Nowadays, one lift among the fundamental equipments at auto-repair must withstand the heavy weight of car. Therefore, the strong lift which is easy to make repairs on cars is the indispensible equipment. In this study, three kinds of lifts are modelled and the simulation analysis is carried out with the finite element analysis program of ANSYS. The durability of lifts due to each configuration can be estimated on the background of this study result and the data to be contributed to the development of new lift for car with safety and durability can be accumulated ultimately. And it is possible to be grafted onto the convergence technique at design and show the esthetic sense.

  • In this paper, a flat-type $L_{-}$-$B_{8}$ mode Ultrasonic Motor[USM] having the size of 80 x 20 x ${1.5}mm^3$($l{\times}\omega{\times}t$) was designed and fabricated to examine the characteristics of an ultrasonic vibration. We used ANSYS simulation program based on FEM to get the optimum design of this USM. As results of experiment, the fastest speed of revolution(v), the maximum torque(T) and the efficiency(n) were 37.5cm/s, 5.0 mN.m and 1.17% when 27.9KHz, 150N, 50V were applied respectively. And this flat-type $L_{-}$-$B_{8}$ mode USM could be controlled the speed of rotor revolution by applied voltage, frequency and pre-load of rotor as well as showed the characteristics of typical drooping torque-speed, large torque and high speed. So, we think that this flat-type $L_{-}$-$B_{8}$ mode USM has characteristics of enough torque and velocity to be usable for applications in forwarding device of an electric card or a paper, etc.

  • Many researches have been performed the analysis and experiments on auto-focus lens due to the development of camera module which is used in mobile-phone recently. Various types of voice coil motor are used mostly in the view point of actuators. Various type of magnetic flux flow is made by the combination of magnet, coil and yoke, etc. And the function of auto-focus is made by the proper combination of the lens components. In this research, some of the simple and economic structure is chosen to investigate the characteristics analytically among various types of lens which are used in industries. Desired level of lens module design was achieved by electromagnetic analysis using ANSYS$^{TM}$ finite element analysis program.

  • Since the beginning of the 90 s, depending on the growth of the industrial sector in Turkey, factory constructions have been increased. The cost of precast concrete buildings is lower than the steel ones for this reason the precast structural systems are used more. Precast concrete structural elements are mostly as strong as not to have damage in the earthquake but weakness of connections between elements causes unexpected damages of structure during earthquake. When looking at the previous researches, it can be seen that there is a lack of studies about socket type base connections although there were many experimental and analytical studies about the connections of precast structural elements. The aim of this study is to investigate the stress transfer mechanism between column and the socket base wall with finite element method. For the finite element analysis ANSYS software was used. A finite element model was created which is the simulation of experimental research executed by Canha et al. (2009) under vertical and horizontal forces. Results of experimental research and finite element analysis were compared to create a successful simulation of experimental program. After determining the acceptable parameters, models of socket bases were created. Model dimensions were chosen according to square section column sizes 400, 450, 500, 550 and 600 mm which were mostly used in industrial buildings. As a result of this study, stress distribution at center section of the socket base models were observed and it is found that stress distribution affects triangular at the half of socket bottom and top.

  • The present work focuses on experimental and numerical performance of the ferrocement RC walls reinforced with welded steel mesh, expanded steel mesh, fiber glass mesh and tensar mesh individually. The experimental program comprised twelve RC walls having the dimensions of 450 mm×100 mm×1000 mm under concentric compression loadings. The studied variables are the type of reinforcing materials, the number of mesh layers and volume fraction of reinforcement. The main aim is to assess the influence of engaging the new inventive materials in reinforcing the composite RC walls. Non-linear finite element analysis; (NLFEA) was carried out to simulate the behavior of the composite walls employing ANSYS-10.0 Software. Parametric study is also demonstrated to check out the variables that can mainly influence the mechanical behavior of the model such as the change of wall dimensions. The obtained numerical results indicated the acceptable accuracy of FE simulations in the estimation of experimental values. In addition, the strength gained of specimens reinforced with welded steel mesh was higher by amount 40% compared with those reinforced with expanded steel mesh. Ferrocement specimens tested under axial compression loadings exhibit superior ultimate loads and energy absorbing capacity compared to the conventional reinforced concrete one.

  • The results of research focusing on the experimental and numerical performance of ferrocement RC beams with openings reinforced with welded steel mesh, expanded steel mesh, fiber glass mesh, and polyethylene mesh independently are presented in this article. Casting and testing of fourteen reinforced concrete beams with dimensions of 200×100×2000 mm under concentric compression loadings were part of the research program. The type of reinforcing materials, the volume fraction of reinforcement, the number of mesh layers, and the number of stirrups are the major parameters that change. The main goal is to understand the impact of using new appealing materials in reinforcing RC beams with openings. Using ANSYS-16.0 Software, nonlinear finite element analysis (NLFEA) was used to demonstrate the behavior of composite RC beams with openings. A parametric study is also conducted to discuss the variables that can have the greatest impact on the mechanical behavior of the proposed model, such as the number of openings. The obtained experimental and numerical results demonstrated the FE simulations' acceptable accuracy in estimating experimental values. Furthermore, demonstrating that the strength gained of specimens reinforced with fiber glass meshes was reduced by approximately 38% when compared to specimens reinforced with expanded or welded steel meshes is significant. In addition, when compared to welded steel meshes, using expanded steel meshes in reinforcing RC beams with openings results in a 16 percent increase in strength. In general, when ferrocement beams with openings are tested under concentric loadings, they show higher-level ultimate loads and energy-absorbing capacity than traditional RC beams.

  • The current study looks at the experimental and numerical performance of ferrocement RC channel slabs reinforced with welded steel mesh, expanded steel mesh, and fiber glass mesh individually. Ten RC channel slabs with dimensions of 500 mm×40 mm×2500 mm were subjected to flexural loadings as part of the testing program. The type of reinforcing materials, the number of mesh layers, and the reinforcement volume fraction are the key parameters that can be changed. The main goal is to determine the impact of using new inventive materials to reinforce composite RC channel slabs. Using ANSYS -16.0 Software, nonlinear finite element analysis (NLFEA) was used to simulate the behavior of composite channel slabs. Parametric study is also demonstrated to identify variables that can have a significant impact on the model's mechanical behavior, such as changes in slab dimensions. The obtained experimental and numerical results indicated that FE simulations had acceptable accuracy in estimating experimental values. Also, it's significant to demonstrate that specimens reinforced with fiber glass meshes gained approximately 12% less strength than specimens reinforced with expanded or welded steel meshes. In addition, Welded steel meshes provide 24% increase in strength over expanded steel meshes when reinforcing RC channel slabs. In general, ferrocement specimens tested under flexural loadings outperform conventional reinforced concrete specimens in terms of ultimate loads and energy absorbing capacity.

  • This study aimed to analyze the structural integrity of a sensor control box, a critical component for real-time monitoring of brake chamber pressure in large commercial vehicles and trailers. We utilized the computational analysis program ANSYS Workbench R2021 based on our testing conditions and vibration test specification KS R1034. Through modal analysis, we identified resonance frequencies within the frequency range of 5 Hz to 100 Hz and compared results in the frequency range of 33 Hz to 67 Hz using harmonic analysis.
