In this study, rice harvesting systems suitable to Korean situations and the optimum timing of these systems were determined, respectively, based on experimentally determined factors such as filed yield and the milling quantity and quality measured at various levels of the grain moisture content at harvest. Rice varieties used for the experiment were the AKIBARE (Japonica-type) and the SUWEON 251 (high yielding TONGIL sister-line variety), The harvesting systems studied by the experimental work of this study were traditional system with both the wet material and dry-material threshing system by use of binder with both the dry-material and wet-material threshings, and system by use of combine. Grain samples were taken from final products of the paddy rice harvested from the experiment a fields for each system to measure the recovery rates of the milled rice. The results may be summarized as follows; 1. The milling recovery rate of the AKIBARE variety had highest value within the range of the grain moisture at harvest, showing from 21 to 26 percent. The head-rice recovery for the same variety was a little greater in the wet-material threshing than in the dry-material threshing , higher values of which , were 20 to 25 percent , seen within the range of grain moisture at harvest regardless of the harvesting systems tested. 2. The milling recovery of the SUWEON 251 , when tested for different harvesting systems and harvesting grain moisture, did not show a statistically significant different. In contrast , head-rice recovery for the systems operated by the wet-material threshing was much greater than that by the -material threshing. The difference of the recoveries between these systems range from 2.6 to 4.7 percent. 3. An assessment of the optimum period of -harvest timing for each of the harve\ulcornersting systems tested were made bJ.sed on (a) the maximum total milled-rise yield and (b) the percentage reduction in the total milled-rice yield due to untimely harvest operations. The optimum period determined are: 23-19% for the ATD, AC, STD, SBW, STW systems, 25-21% for the ATW ani ABW systems, and 27-18% for the ABD, SBD, and SC systems, respectively.

Objectives: To understand the personal experiences of mine workers that have experienced job relocation due to silicosis at the Andina Division of Corporaci$\acute{o}$n Nacional del Cobre (CODELCO), Chile. The purpose of the study was to provide useful information for the development of new local, business and public policies for the care of workers with silicosis. Methods: A qualitative study based on a practical case study of 5 workers. The information was collected by means of structured individual interviews. The method of analysis was phenomenology. Results: The corporal axis was the most commented upon. It included awareness of the illness, body pains, fatigue, and antagonistic mood disorders (sadness, or the difficulty in finding meaning in life). As far as personal relationships, there was evidence of strong relationships with family, coworkers and friends, as well as extended family. Over all, the experience of relocation was positive with periods of impatience and uncertainty. The job reassignment provided a new and pleasant context for the relocated workers and in the process improved their perception of their quality of life. Conclusions: A multidisciplinary team should attend mine workers relocated because of silicosis by addressing the mental and physical aspects of their disease, along with the integral participation of close family members. It is suggested that this investigation be maintain over time to record the personal experiences in the medium-term, adding new cases with the intention of shedding more light on the phenomenon being studied. As a preventive measure, continual workshops are needed on the proper use of respiratory protection in addition, a group of monitors is required.
The distribution of number of ovulation between right and left ovary in superovulated mice were examined. 50 adult female mice of CF#1 strain were used in this study. Superovulation was induced by the subcutaneous injection of 5 IU PMS and followed 48 hours later by the subcutaneous injection of 5 IU HCG. Females a were killed at 24 hours after injection of HCG, and ova in the oviducts were counted under a microscope. The number of ova ovulated from the left and the right ovary were 603 and 594. The number of ova in both sides were found equal frequency by $X^2$ test method. Ovulation occurred more frequently in the left ovary than in the right in 24 females and with equal frequency in both ovaries in 3 females, while more frequently in the right ovary than in the left in 23 females. The possitive correlation was found between right and left ovary.

The main purpose of 1-1-9 Caller Location Information System is to identify and display the precise location of emergency incidents such as natural or man - made fires, medical emergencies and accidents. The state - of- the - art technologies such as Am (Automatic Number Identification), GIS(Geographical Information System) and GPS (Global Positioning System) were applied and integrated in the system for efficient and effective location identification. It displays a radius of 25M, 50M and 100M on the map after location identification. The system can also provide the shortest path to an incident location from a fire station or a fire engine. In case of a fire breakout in or near a building, the attribute information of the building, called a building attribute card, is displayed along with the map location. The system then matches the information with the fire situation and sends an alert to a responsible fire station by phone or fax in order to help promptly react to the problem. An attribute card includes the critical information of a premise such as building's location, number of stories, floor plans, capacity, construction history, indoor fire detection and Prevention facilities, etc.
A potent fungus producing milk clotting enzyme with fairly weak proteolytic activity was isolated from various soil and sewage, which the selected strain, SA-101, was identified as Mucor sp. with microbiological characteristics. Its milk clotting enzyme production was maximized when grown on 10g of wheat bran media added to 8ml of tap water containing 0.1M HCl for 60hrs at $30^{\circ}C$. This enzyme production was stimulated by addition of 6% lactose, 0.05% NaCl and reached a maximal level of 9810 unit/g wheat bran. The crude enzyme product could be produced effectively by salting out with ammonium sulfate fractionation and lyophilization. The ratio of milk clotting activity to proteolytic activity of crude enzyme product was lower than Hansen rennet, but resembled to Meito rennet. The optimal temperature of milk clotting activity of crude enzyme product was abound $60^{\circ}C$ on a substrate of 10% reconstituted skim milk containing 1/100M $CaCl_2$.

Bisphenol-A(BPA) is a member of alkylphenol family, and shows adverse effects including reduced fertility, reproductive tract abnormalities, metabolic disorder, cancer induction, neurotoxicity and immunotoxicity. In the present study, we conducted Hershberger assay to evaluate whether the two candidates to replace BPA have androgenic or antiandrogenic activity. The assay was carried out using immature castrated Sprague-Dawley male rats. After 7 days of the surgery, testosterone propionate (TP, 0.4 mg/kg/day) and test materials (low dose, 40 mg/kg/day; high dose, 400 mg/kg/day) were administered for 10 consecutive days by subcutaneous (s.c.) injection and oral gavage, respectively. Test materials were BPA, isosorbide (ISO) and cyclohexanedimethanol (CHDM). The rats were necropsied, and then the weights of five androgen-dependent tissues [ventral prostate, seminal vesicle, levator ani-bulbocavernosus (LABC) muscle, paired Cowper's glands, and glans penis] and three androgen-insensitive tissues (kidney, spleen and liver) were measured. All test materials including BPA did not exhibit any androgenic activity in the assay. On the contrary, antiandrogen-like activities were found in all test groups, and the order of the intensity was CHDM > BPA > ISO in the five androgen-sensitive tissues. There was no statistical difference between low dose treatment and high dose treatment of BPA group as well as ISO group. In CHDM group, high dose treatment exhibited most severe weight reduction in all measured tissues. There was no statistical difference in androgen-insensitive tissue measurements, except BPA groups. Since the effects of ISO treatment on the accessory sex organs were much less or not present at all when compared to those of BPA, ISO could be a strong candidate to replace BPA. CHDM treatment brought most severe weight reduction in all of androgen-sensitive tissues, so this material should be excluded for further screening of BPA substitute selection.
In the present study, we employed Hershberger assay to determine possible androgenic or antiandrogenic activities of three di-2-ethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP) substitute candidates. Test materials were DEHP, 2-ethylhexyl oleate (IOO), 2-ethylhexyl stearate (IOS) and triethyl 2-acetylcitrate (ATEC). The rats were necropsied, and then the weights of five androgen-dependent tissues [ventral prostate, seminal vesicle, coagulating glands, levator ani-bulbocavernosus (LABC) muscle, paired Cowper's glands, and glans penis] and four androgen-insensitive tissues (kidney, adrenal glands, spleen and liver) were measured. All test materials including DEHP did not exhibit any androgenic activity in the assay. On the contrary, antiandrogen-like activities were found in all test groups, and the order of the intensity was ATEC < DEHP < ISO < IOO in the five androgen-sensitive tissues. There was no statistical difference between low dose treatment and high dose treatment of all replacement candidate groups. In DEHP groups, high dose treatment exhibited significant weight gains in LABC and Glan Penis. There was no statistical difference in androgen-insensitive tissue measurements. Since the effects of ATEC treatment on the accessory sex organs were much less or not present at all when compared to those of DEHP, ATEC could be a strong candidate to replace DEHP. IOO treatment brought most severe weight reduction in all of androgen-sensitive tissues, so this material should be excluded for further screening of DEHP substitute selection.

We developed new composites by combining the solid waste from Low-Density Polyethylene in the form of plastic bag (PB) and biomass from rice husk (RH),in the form of $(RH)_x(PB)_{1-x}$ (x = (1, 0.9, 0.7, 0.5)), as alternative fuels for electrical energy sources, and for providing the best solution to reduce environmental pollution. Elemental compositions were obtained by using proximate analysis, ultimate analysis, and X-ray fluorescence spectroscopy, and the thermal characteristics were obtained from thermogravimetric analysis. The compositions of carbon and hydrogen from the ultimate analysis show significant increases of 20-30% with increasing PB in the composite. The activation energy for RH is 101.22 kJ/mol; for x = 0.9 and 0.7, this increases by 4 and 6 magnitude, respectively, and for x = 0.5, shows remarkable increase to 165.30 kJ/mol. The range of temperature of about $480-660^{\circ}C$ is required for combustion of the composites $(RH)_x(PB)_{1-x}$ (x = (1, 0.9, 0.7, 0.5)) to perform the complete combustion process and produce high energy. In addition, the calorific value was determined by using bomb calorimetry, and shows value for RH of 13.44 MJ/kg, which increases about 30-40% with increasing PB content, indicating that PB has a strong effect of increasing the energy realized to generate electricity.
A 4-year-old intact female Maltese was referred to the Animal Medical Center of Chonbuk National University with a history of consistent fecal incontinence over 4 months following sacculectomy surgery. We suspected that anal sacculectomy resulted in loss of the external anal sphincter. On physical examination, the external anal sphincter muscle on the left side was intact, while the external anal sphincter muscle on the right side could not be detected and exhibited severe laceration. To repair the defect, the left semitendinosus muscle was transposed around the anus. The left semitendinosus muscle was isolated and transected near the stifle, reflected dorsally and passed around the ventral rectum into the pararectal fossa. Care was taken to preserve the integrity of the vasculature and nerve supply. The muscle was secured dorsally with simple interrupted sutures to the levator ani and coccygeus muscles to simulate the external anal sphincter. Nine days after surgery, the dog was defecating normally with no evidence of incontinence. The use of semitendinosus muscle flaps is a good option for the treatment of fecal incontinence secondary to loss of sphincter muscle in dogs.
This study is a study on the factors of preference for mobile game characters whose intellectual property rights (IP) influence is great. There have been many cases in which user-side research has been conducted on the character's preference factors. However, it is largely macro-divided. Detailed analytical studies are needed because details are overlooked. By classifying the elements of the character, the five-point scale of the recorder also obtains the data through the survey. Detailed factors were analyzed according to the results. Prior studies and results were compared and factors consistent with prior studies were analyzed. Because this study analyzed detailed factors, unlike previous studies of macro view. It is expected to help develop characters in the future.
