  • 항로표지 원격관리시스템은 다양한 유무선 통신방식 즉, AIS, TRS, CDMA 등의 통신망으로 운영하고 있다. 이는 항로표지 시설이 육상과 달리 해상에 설치됨으로써 기후변화 및 도서지역 특성상 통신장애 발생이 잦으며, 안정적인 전원 공급이 요구되기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는 최근 통신기술인 사물지능통신(M2M) 게이트웨이 지그비 시스템과 CDMA망을 활용하여 안정적이고 저전력의 항로표지 원격관리시스템을 구성하여 활용하고자 한다.

  • 최근 빅데이터 기술 개발로 방대한 데이터의 유의미한 분석 및 예측이 용이해졌다. 선박교통관제센터에서는 각종 센서와 다양한 정보를 기반으로 VHF 교신을 통해 선박교통관제를 수행한다. 관제사가 활용하는 레이더, AIS, Port-MIS. 센서 등의 데이터들이 디지털로 저장되고 있으며, 관제사의 VHF 교신내용은 디지털파일로 저장되어 선박교통관제센터의 서버 2개월간 보관된다. 본 논문에서는 관제 결과로 저장되고 있는 관제 로그 데이터를 활용하여 빅데이터를 구성하고 이를 기반으로 유의미한 정보를 생성할 수 있는 방안을 연구하였다.

  • 해상 ICT의 발전과 e-Navigation 및 자율운항선 도입에 따라 해상 통신망의 종류와 범위가 확장되어 가상항로표지 서비스의 필요성이 증대되고 있으며, 이러한 서비스 제공을 위해 국가 정책적으로 스마트 항로표지 개발에 관한 연구가 추진되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 e-Navigation 및 자율운항선 도입에 대비하여 디지털 항로표지 정보의 체계적이고 지속적인 제공을 위한 통합가상항로표지 정보서비스 시스템 상세 설계 방안에 대하여 기술하였다.

  • Maritime traffic assessment is important to understand the characteristics of maritime traffic and to prevent maritime accidents. The maritime traffic assessment can be calculated from the ship trajectory data observed by using AIS(Automatic Identification System). This paper developes a maritime traffic assessment tool using ship's position and speed, course, time data from ships navigating waterways. The results are represented in terms of the number of traffic quantity and traffic distribution, speed distribution, geometric collision candidates. The developed tool will contributes to advance maritime traffic safety by VTS(Vessel Traffic Services).

  • Vessel traffic service(VTS) centers are equipped with RADAR, AIS(Automatic Identification System), weather sensors, and VHF(Very High Frequency). VTS operators use this equipment to observe the movement of ships operating in the VTS area and provide information. The VTS data generated by these various devices is highly valuable for analyzing maritime traffic situation. However, owing to a lack of compatibility between system manufacturers or policy issues, they are often not systematically managed. Therefore, we developed the VTS Bigdata Platform that could efficiently collect, store, and manage control data collected by the VTS, and this paper describes its design and implementation. A microservice architecture was applied to secure operational stability that was one of the important issues in the development of the platform. In addition, the performance of the platform could be improved by dualizing the storage for real-time navigation information. The implemented system was tested using real maritime data to check its performance, identify additional improvements, and consider its feasibility in a real VTS environment.

  • 장죽수도 조류신호표지시스템 구축을 위하여 시공 전 단계에서 현장해양조사 및 수치모델링을 통한 최적위치를 선정하고 센서 설치 구조안전성 검토 결과를 바탕으로 시공을 수행하였다. 관리자 인터페이스 및 자료 관리를 위한 운용 소프트웨어와 연계하여 장죽수도의 조류정보(유향, 유속, 유속의 경향)를 항해자에게 AIS 정보로 실시간으로 제공하여 통항 선박의 안전운항을 확보하고, 또한 조류관측자료 분석을 통하여 실시간 정확한 조류정보와 예측 값을 반영하여 해양사고를 미연에 방지 할 수 있다.

  • The high tech marine transportation infrastructure is an innovative transportation infrastructure that may be able to secure a safe transportation environment as well as efficient operation by connecting up-to-date skills including a broad range of wire and wireless communication-based information, control and electronics technologies. When integrated into the marine transportation infrastructure by the standard requirements, these standard technologies help monitor and manage navigational aids. After investigated on current status of marine transportation system, verified on integrating marine transportation systems, the standard requirements have to suggest a appropriate way of integrating marine traffic systems and proper way of using old marine traffic infrastructure.

This paper defined a concept of middleware in the marine traffic management systems which gives characteristics of system independency, scalability, extensibility, and researches a functionality of the middleware and a software block of the middleware.
