Sharing both locations and positions of ships makes it possible to utilize critical item for their safe and efficient navigation in such diversifying meantime environments. AIS is the representative technology for the sharing solutions. The AIS is even used in airspace and ground stations, so that AIS could facilitate the ships' safety navigation and their prevention/rescue from endangers. Due to AIS's many advantages, IMO(International Maritime Organization) made adapting the AIS mandatory for international passenger ships and the ships that are over than 300 tons. AIS uses VHF band areas for transmitting information and the information can be propagated to several hundreds km in range. Due to the large range, AIS monitoring system can acquire huge number of ships, which makes system performance lower and busier. In this paper, we propose the strategy of AIS information extraction for efficient monitoring system. Thus, the monitoring system has higher processing performance and lower network usage. As well as, the proposal affects the monitoring system has more capacity to include other systems' targets, in result.
Compared to a low concentration, a high concentration clearly entails limitations in terms of predictive performance owing to differences in its frequency and environment of occurrence. To resolve this problem, in this study, an artificial intelligence neural network algorithm was used to classify low and high concentrations; furthermore, two prediction models trained using the characteristics of the classified concentration types were used for prediction. To this end, we constructed training datasets using weather and air pollutant data collected over a decade in the Cheonan region. We designed a DNN-based classification model to classify low and high concentrations; further, we designed low- and high-concentration prediction models to reflect characteristics by concentration type based on the low and high concentrations classified through the classification model. According to the results of the performance assessment of the prediction model by concentration type, the low- and high-concentration prediction accuracies were 90.38% and 96.37%, respectively.
Korea, which is expected to enter a super-aged society in 2025, is facing the most worrisome crisis worldwide. Efforts are urgently required to examine problems and countermeasures from various angles and to improve the shortcomings. In this regard, from a new viewpoint, we intend to derive useful implications by applying the recent natural language processing techniques to online articles. More specifically, we derive three research questions: First, what topics are being reported in the online media and what is the public's response to them? Second, what is the relationship between these aging-related topics and individual happiness factors? Third, what are the strategic directions and implications for benchmarking discussed to solve the problem of population aging? To find answers to these, we collect Naver portal articles related to population aging and their classification categories, comments, and number of comments, including other numerical data. From the data, we firstly derive 33 topics with a semi-supervised BERTopic by reflecting article classification information that was not used in previous studies, conducting sentiment analysis of comments on them with a current open-source large language model. We also examine the relationship between the derived topics and personal happiness factors extended to Alderfer's ERG dimension, carrying out additional 3~4-gram keyword frequency analysis, trend analysis, text network analysis based on 3~4-gram keywords, etc. Through this multifaceted approach, we present diverse fresh insights from practical and theoretical perspectives.
The aim of this investigation was to assess the relationship between food habits and nutrient intake in college female students. Nutrient intakes of 149 female subjects aged 19.3 y were determined by using 24-hr recall. The questionnaire included general characteristics and food habits (frequency of breakfast and fast food intake). Body composition was determined by bioim- pedance analysis. Nutrient analysis was performed with Can pro software. Statistics were generated using SAS 9.3 (SAS Institute, Cary, NC). Mean intake of energy, fiber, calcium, potassium. vitamin $B_2$ and vitamin C by the subjects ware below KDRIs. The nutrients for which the largest proportion of subjects showed inadequate intakes (less than the RI or AI) were potassium, calcium, vitamin C and fiber. Subjects that consumed fast food ${\leq}6$ times showed significantly lower intakes of calcium, potassium, fiber, vitamin A, vitamin $B_6$ and vitamin C. Subjects who skipped breakfast more frequently showed significantly lower intakes of energy, carbohydrate, fiber, calcium, iron, potassium, vitamin $B_2$ and vitamin C than subjects who ate breakfast more frequently. This is strong evidence that higher intakes of nutrients such as potassium, fiber, and calcium are associated with increased frequency of eating breakfast or decreased frequency of eating fast food. Low calcium, fiber, and potassium intakes may thus lead to chronic diseases. Nutrition education can be an important facilitator for improving nutrient intakes.

The SHAPE algorithm has the advantage of being able to shape the pulse spectrum as desired and design it not to distort other characteristics, so it was used in the active sonar pulse design. In this paper, we propose a pulse design using the SHAPE algorithm for a multi-static sonar system to reduce the cross-correlation between frequency-adjacent pulses and prevent the performance degradation of the pulses themselves. The boundary function of the SHAPE algorithm is set to be limited to the pulse bandwidth. As a result of applying the proposed design method to the sinusoidal frequency modulated pulse, the peak cross-correlation level (PCCL), which means the degree of cross-correlation, was reduced by 44.23 dB. Although the PCCL decreased by several tens of dB, no significant change in the ambiguity function was observed, and the integrated sidelobe level (ISL), which means the average value of the side lobe, increased by 11.64 dB.

Purpose: This study evaluated the distance from the posterior root apices to the maxillary sinus floor (MSF) and the frequency of roots touching or protruding through the MSF using cone-beam computed tomography (CBCT). Materials and Methods: This study included 100 subjects divided into different vertical and anteroposterior skeletal growth patterns. On CBCT images, the distance from the posterior root apices to MSF was measured and the frequency of roots touching or protruding through the MSF was evaluated using NNT software (version 5.3.0.0; ImageWorks, Elmsford, NY, USA). Results: No statistically significant differences were found in the distance from the posterior root apices to the MSF among vertical skeletal groups (P>0.05). The palatal roots of the first molar and the palatal, mesio-buccal and disto-buccal roots of the second molars had significantly less distance from MSF in skeletal class II than in class III (P<0.05). The high-angle group had the highest frequencies of roots touching or protruding into the maxillary sinus (49.8%); the lowest proportion of these roots was found in skeletal class III (28.3%) and the highest proportion in class II (50.3%). Males had shorter distances from the posterior root apices to the MSF and higher frequencies of roots protruding through or touching the MSF than females. Conclusion: Anteroposterior skeletal growth patterns and sex affected the distances from the maxillary posterior roots to the MSF. The frequency of roots protruding into or touching the sinus was affected by both vertical and anteroposterior skeletal groups and sex. These findings have implications for dental practice.
This paper deals with the design and fabrication of a coplanar waveguide (CPW)-fed super-wideband semicircular-disk-shaped dipole antenna operating in a frequency band of 2.4 GHz or higher. To feed the antenna, a CPW feed line was appended to the center of the lower arm of the semicircular-disk-shaped dipole antenna. For miniaturization, square patches were added to the ends of the two arms of the semicircular-disk-shaped dipole, whereas the slot width of the CPW feed line at the center of the dipole antenna was increased to improve impedance matching in the 5.4-6.3 GHz band. The simulated frequency band of the proposed antenna for a voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR) less than 2 was 2.369-30 GHz(170.7%), whereas the fabricated antenna was maintained VSWR less than 2 in the frequency range of 2.378-20 GHz when measured using a network analyzer operating up to 20 GHz so it can be applied as a super-wideband antenna for next-generation mobile communications.
In this paper, a broadband double dipole quasi-Yagi antenna using a 4×2 meander line array structure for maintaining 8 dBi gain was studied. The 4×2 meanderline array structure consists of a unit cell in the shape of a meanderline conductor, and it was placed above the second dipole antenna of the double dipole quasi-Yagi antenna. A double dipole quasi-Yagi antenna with generally used multiple strip directors was designed on an FR4 substrate with the same size, and the input reflection coefficient and gain characteristics were compared. Comparison results showed that the impedance frequency bandwidth increased by 6.3% compared to when using the multiple strip directors, the frequency bandwidth with a gain of 8 dBi or more increased by 10.1%, and average gain also slightly increased. The frequency band of the fabricated antenna for a voltage standing wave ratio less than 2 was 1.548-2.846 GHz(59.1%), and gain was measured to be more than 8 dBi in the 1.6-2.8 GHz band.
Ethanol-tolerant strain, S. eerevisiae BUI a26 ($alc^r thr^-$) and gJucoamylase-producing strain, S diastatieus AI5a6 (STA+ hom-) were prepared by means of genetic manipulation, Protoplast fusion was carried out to introduce STA gene from AI5a6 strain to BUla26 strain, Protoplast formation was shown at 0,8 M sorbitol and 200 Jig/ml to 400 Jig/ml zymolyase treatment for 2 hours incubation, Fusion frequency was $ 3.25 {\times} 10^{-3}$ to the regenerated protoplast number using PEG 6000 for 90 min incubation. The excellent fusants with genotype of STA- $alc^r thr^-$ hom+/STA+ ($alc^s thr^+$ hom- (2n), F7 and FIO, were selected by ethanol-tolerant, ethanol fermentation, and glucoamylase production tests, Glucoamylase production of AI5a6 showed 2,7 units, but 4.2 or 8.4 units for F7 or FIO fusant at $30^{\circ}C$, Ethanol fermentation from 32% glucose by BUla26 was 14,0%(v/v) in fermentaion medium for 5 days incubation, but 14.5% or 15,0% for F7 or FIO strain, respectively. Ethanol fermentation from 5% starch was 2,0% by F7, or 1.8% by FIO strain in fermentation medium for 5 days fermentation.
As a key infrastructure for digital transformation, the spread of data, network, artificial intelligence (D.N.A.) fields and the emergence of promising industries are laying the groundwork for active digital innovation throughout the economy. In this study, by applying the text mining methodology, major topics were derived by using the abstract, publication year, and research field of the study corresponding to the SCIE, SSCI, and A&HCI indexes of the WoS database as input variables. First, main keywords were identified through TF and TF-IDF analysis based on word appearance frequency, and then topic modeling was performed using g-DMR. With the advantage of the topic model that can utilize various types of variables as meta information, it was possible to properly explore the meaning beyond simply deriving a topic. According to the analysis results, topics such as business intelligence, manufacturing production systems, service value creation, telemedicine, and digital education were identified as major research topics in digital transformation. To summarize the results of topic modeling, 1) research on business intelligence has been actively conducted in all areas after COVID-19, and 2) issues such as intelligent manufacturing solutions and metaverses have emerged in the manufacturing field. It has been confirmed that the topic of production systems is receiving attention once again. Finally, 3) Although the topic itself can be viewed separately in terms of technology and service, it was found that it is undesirable to interpret it separately because a number of studies comprehensively deal with various services applied by combining the relevant technologies.
