지난해 11월부터 국내 양계업계를 7차례나 강타한 고병원성조류인플루엔자가 3월을 넘기면서도 꺾일 기세를 보이지 않고 있다. AI예방을 위해 총력을 기울여 온 국립수의과학검역원(이하검역원)은 3월부터 구제역 특별방역기간을 선포하면서 AI에 이어 긴장의 끈을 놓지 않고 있다. 본고는 2월말로 AI특별방역기간을 보낸 시점에서 강문일 국립수의과학검역원장을 만나 그동안의 고병원성조류인플루엔자에 대한 대응과 앞으로의 검역원 사업 방향을 듣는 자리를 가졌다.

The advent of image generative AI has made it possible for people who are not experts in art and design to create finished artworks through text input. With the increasing availability of generated images and their impact on the art industry, there is a need for research on how users perceive the process of co-creating with AI. In this study, we conducted an experimental study to investigate the expected and experienced processes of image generative AI creation among general users and to find out which processes affect users' sense of creative agency. The results showed that there was a gap between the expected and experienced creative process, and users tended to perceive a low sense of creative agency. We recommend eight ways that AI can act as an enabler to support users' creative intentions so that they can experience a higher sense of creative agency. This study can contribute to the future development of image-generating AI by considering user-centered creative experiences.

In an environment where English is a foreign language, English learners can use AI voice chatbots in English-speaking practice activities to enhance their speaking motivation, provide opportunities for communication practice, and improve their English speaking ability. In this study, we propose a teaching-style AI voice chatbot that can be easily utilized by lower elementary school students and enhance their learning. To apply the Teachable Agent system to language learning, which is an activity based on tense, context, and memory, we proposed a new method of TA by applying the Teachable Agent to reflect the learner's English pronunciation and level and generate the agent's answers according to the learner's errors and implemented a Teachable Agent AI chatbot prototype. We conducted usability evaluations with actual elementary English teachers and elementary school students to demonstrate learning effects. The results of this study can be applied to motivate students who are not interested in learning or elementary school students to voluntarily participate in learning through role-switching.

본 연구는 프로그래밍 협업 환경에서 생성형 AI인 ChatGPT-4를 활용한 코딩 프로세스를 제안한다. 일관성 있는 결과를 얻기 위해 프롬프트 생성, GPT 실행, 의사코드 변환, 코드 비교, 동일 코드 생성 여부 판단, 테스트 실행, 동일 결과 생성 여부 판단, 코드 검사 및 수정의 8단계를 거친다. 팀 프로젝트와 페어 프로그래밍 등의 다양한 협업 환경에 적용 가능한 이 프로세스를 통해 생성형 AI를 효과적으로 활용할 수 있음을 보여주었다는 점에서 그 의미가 있다. 본 연구는 생성형 AI를 활용한 협업 환경에서의 코딩이 본격적으로 이루어질 것으로 예상되는 이 시점에서, 인간-AI 협업 환경에서의 코딩 효율성 및 일관성을 높일 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. 이러한 연구는 인간과 AI가 함께 작업하는 미래를 위한 기초를 마련하는 데 중요한 역할을 할 것이다.

As artificial intelligence (AI) has emerged as a promising future technology among the fourth industrial revolution, we are trying to apply artificial intelligence technology across all area of society, including libraries. This study investigated the effects, issues, and implications of artificial intelligence on university library services. As a research method, in-depth interviews were conducted with IT experts of university libraries in North America, and conclusions and discussion were drawn from interview results and related documents. Research results revealed that university libraries in North America were trying to build an infrastructure that facilitates information access and retrieval based on artificial intelligence systems and to provide new services in collaboration with AI research institutes in universities. This study raised issues regarding the expansion of the role of libraries and librarians, privacy, and data quality. It was also discussed that the need for re-education of university librarians to become software engineers who play a role in disseminating knowledge. In addition, this study suggested the investment for the establishment of the information system and an artificial intelligence research center in the library. The study discussed limitations of research due to changes in the research environment and suggestions for future research.

Generative AI, exemplified by models like ChatGPT, has revolutionized human-machine interactions in the 21st century. As these advancements permeate various sectors, their intersection with the arts is both promising and challenging. Despite the arts' historical resistance to AI replacement, recent developments have sparked active research in AI's role in artistry. This study delves into the potential of AI in visual arts education, highlighting the necessity of swift adaptation amidst the Fourth Industrial Revolution. This research, conducted at a 4-year global higher education institution located in Gyeongbuk, involved 70 participants who took part in a creative convergence module course project. The study aimed to examine the influence of AI collaboration in visual arts, analyzing distinctions across majors, grades, and genders. The results indicate that creative activities with AI positively influence students' creativity and digital media literacy. Based on these findings, there is a need to further develop effective educational strategies and directions that incorporate AI.

This research aims to investigate methods of leveraging generative artificial intelligence in service sectors where consumer sentiment and experience are paramount, focusing on minimizing hallucination phenomena during usage and developing strategic services tailored to consumer sentiment and experiences. To this end, the study examined both mechanical approaches and user-generated prompts, experimenting with factors such as business item definition, provision of persona characteristics, examples and context-specific imperative verbs, and the specification of output formats and tone concepts. The research explores how generative AI can contribute to enhancing the accuracy of personalized content and user satisfaction. Moreover, these approaches play a crucial role in addressing issues related to hallucination phenomena that may arise when applying generative AI in real services, contributing to consumer service innovation through generative AI. The findings demonstrate the significant role generative AI can play in richly interpreting consumer sentiment and experiences, broadening the potential for application across various industry sectors and suggesting new directions for consumer sentiment and experience strategies beyond technological advancements. However, as this research is based on the relatively novel field of generative AI technology, there are many areas where it falls short. Future studies need to explore the generalizability of research factors and the conditional effects in more diverse industrial settings. Additionally, with the rapid advancement of AI technology, continuous research into new forms of hallucination symptoms and the development of new strategies to address them will be necessary.

전국 50여개의 AI(Artificial Insemination)센터는 국내 양돈산업 인공수정 기술을 개발하고 보급하는 중추적인 역할을 수행하고 있다. 이에 반해 AI센터의 숫자 규모는 전국적으로 매우 제한되어 있어, AI센터의 운영 및 AI 기술에 대한 정보관리는 각 센터별 독자적인 운영시스템으로 관리되어 상호 정보융합을 통한 양돈산업 발전에 활용되는 사례가 매우 적다. 또한 개별 AI센터에서 관리하고 있는 소비자들의 지역분포도가 매우 폭넓어 실시간으로 수요자에 대한 판매 관리정보를 제공함에 있어 그 한계를 가지고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 전국의 AI센터 관리운영에 통합적이고 효율성을 지원할 수 있는 모바일 웹기반 개선된 AI PigMoS(Pig Monitoring System, PigMoS) 시스템을 제안하고 구현하였다. 본 논문에서 제안한 모바일 웹기반 개선된 AI PigMoS 시스템은 이동성, 실시간 정보서비스 등에 해당되는 시스템 모듈을 모바일 웹을 기반으로 구현하여 개별 AI센터에서 운영할 수 있게 하였다. 이에 본 논문에서는 기존의 AI PigMoS 시스템을 개선하여 재구축하였으며, 이동성, 실시간 정보서비스 등이 필요한 모듈을 중심으로 모바일 기능을 설계하고 구현하여, 원거리 소비자들에게 실시간으로 생성된 AI정보를 제공하여 AI센터의 정보관리 효율성과 경쟁력 향상을 높일 것으로 기대한다.
