고해상도 중적외선 영상자료의 주야간 지표면 식별 특성 평가 (Evaluating the Land Surface Characterization of High-Resolution Middle-Infrared Data for Day and Night Time)

  • 다목적실용위성 3A호에 탑재되는 고해상도의 중적외선 영상자료에 대한 지표면 식별 특성을 파악하기 위하여, 고해상도 중적외선 영상 획득이 가능한 AHS(Airborne Hyperspectral Scanner) 자료를 사용하여 중적외선 영상 자료의 지표면 온도 산출 가능성과 토지피복도 분류 정확도를 평가하였다. 먼저 AHS 열적외선 자료로 작성한 지표면 온도 영상과 AHS 중적외선 각 밴드의 화소값을 비교한 결과 주간과 야간 모두 밴드 68(중심파장 $4.64{\mu}m$)의 결정계수가 0.74이상으로 가장 높았다. 다음으로 AHS 중적외선 밴드를 이용하여 토지피복도를 작성한 결과 주간의 경우 지붕, 도로, 초지, 식생, 수역 등이 구분 가능했지만 야간의 경우 초지와 식생, 도로와 수역, 지붕과 도로 등 일부 클래스들이 서로 중복되어 나타났다. AHS 중적외선 밴드의 지표면 식별 능력의 향상 가능성을 파악하기 위하여 주간과 야간자료의 편차 영상을 구하여 토지피복도를 작성한 결과 Zone 1과 Zone 2의 소지역별 분류정확도가 각각 67.5%, 64.3%로서, 주간 또는 야간 중적외선 밴드로 작성된 토지피복도에 비해 10% 이상 향상된 것으로 나타났다. 결과적으로 고해상도 중적외선 밴드 영상자료는 지표면온도 산출시 지표 피복 특성을 고려한 알고리즘 개발이 요구되며, 지표면 식별 능력은 주간에 비해 야간이 낮으므로 주간과 야간의 편차 영상을 이용할 경우 지표면 식별 능력을 향상시킬 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

SIMULATOR-BASED HUMAN FACTORS EVALUATION OF AUTOMATED HIGHWAY SYSTEM

  • From a viewpoint of human factors, automated highway systems(AHS) can be defined as one of the newly developing human-machine systems that consist of humans(drivers and operators), machines(vehicles and facilities), and environments(roads and roadside environments). AHS will require a changed vehicle control process and driver-vehicle interface(DVI) comparing with conventional driving. This study introduces a fixed-based AHS simulator and provides questionnaire-based human factors evaluation results after three kinds of automated driving speed experiences in terms of road configuration, operation policies, information devices, and overall AHS use. In the simulator, the "shared space-at-grade" concept-based road configuration was virtually implemented on a portion of the Kyungbu highway in Korea, and heads-up display(HUD), AHS information display, and variable message signs(VMS) were installed for appropriate AHS DVI implementation. As the results, the subjects expressed positive opinions on the implemented road configuration, operation policies, and the overall use of AHS. The results of this study would be helpful in developing the road configuration and DVI design guideline as the basic human factors research for the future implementation of AHS.

소양호에서 추출한 수중 부식질(AHS)의 오존처리에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Ozonation of Aquatic Humic Substances(AHS) Extracted from Soyang Lake Water)

  • 본 연구에서는 XAD-8 수지 추출방법을 이용하여 소양호에 존재하는 수중 부식질의 월별 농도분포를 조사하였고, 추출과정을 통하여 확보한 수중 부식질에 대하여 pH와 탄산이온농도에 따른 오존처리특성을 흡광도와 DOC를 이용하여 검토하였으며, 오존처리한 수중 부식질의 생분해성 및 구조적 변화를 살펴보았다. 1997년 5월에서 10월에 조사된 소양정수장 유입수의 DOC 농도분포는 1~3 mg/L이었고, 수중 부식질의 농도는 0.2~0.8 mg/L로 DOC 농도의 약 20~30%이었다. 수중 부식질 중에서 휴믹산은 약 15~25%, 풀빅산은 약 75~85%로 분포하였다. 오존처리과정의 적정 pH 영역은 오존처리에 따른 부식질의 흡광도 감소율 및 DOC 제거율을 기준으로 판단할 때 pH 7~9 범위이었다. 오존처리과정에서 탄산이온을 첨가하여 라디칼 반응을 억제할 경우 시료의 흡광도 감소율은 증가한 반면 DOC의 제거율은 감소하였다. 오존처리한 시료의 생분해성은 약 50% 이상 증가하였다. $^{13}C-NMR$ 분석결과 오존처리 후 부식질내 방향족화합물의 함량은 49%에서 17%로 감소된 반면, 지방족화합물은 34%에서 51%, 카르복실화합물의 함량은 17%에서 32%로 증가하였다.

  • Deterioration of agricultural hydraulic structures(AHS), which are under harsh environmental conditions, is more sever than other ordinary structures. To investigate the deterioration factors of AHS, various physical and chemical analyses are performed. The porosity of AHS increases more rapidly than ordinary structures because they are subject to frequent water permeation and water-soluble materials are easily emitted to surface area. Thus, AHS are tend to be damaged by freezing and thawing more easily due to the increase of water containment inside concrete.

조현병 환자의 언어성 환청과 정신병리의 PANSS 요인들 간의다차원적 관계 (Multidimensional Relationship between Auditory Verbal Hallucinations and PANSS Factors of Psychopathology in the Patients with Schizophrenia)

  • Objectives This study was aimed to examine the multidimensional relationship between auditory verbal hallucinations (AVHs) and Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale (PANSS) factors of psychopathology in the patients with schizophrenia. And we explored the differences between assessments to hallucination by the clinicians and patients. Methods 82 patients with schizophrenia who were assessed by the Hamilton Program for Schizophrenia Voices Questionnaire (HPSVQ), Psychotic Symptom Rating Scale-Auditory Hallucination (PSYRATS-AHS), and the PANSS were recruited. Hwang's five-factor model of PANSS, items and total scores of hallucination scales, Kim's and Haddock's factor models of hallucination were applied to examine the correlations between psychopathology and AVHs. AVH-positive patients was 50 in PANSS-HPSVQ group and 24 in PANSS-PSYRATS-AHS. These two groups were separately analyzed. Results Among the five factors of the PANSS, negative and depression/anxiety factors were correlated with the total scores of HPSVQ and PSYRATS-AHS, and positive and autistic preoccupation factors were correlated only with the total score of PSYRATS-AHS. The activation factor was correlated with none of the total scores of HPSVQ/PSYRATS-AHS. These correlation patterns of a total score of HPSVQ/PSYRATS-AHS were same in the emotional factor of HPSVQ and physical factor of PSYRATS-AHS respectively. In the items which showed significant correlations, correlation coefficients of PANSS-PSYRATS-AHS group ranged between 0.406-0.755 and those of PANSS-HPSVQ ranged between 0.283-0.420. Conclusions This study suggested that the psychopathological domains of schizophrenia were differentially correlated with AVHs and the assessment of AVHs by clinicians and patients showed substantial differences which should be integrated into the therapeutic interventions.

족관절 염좌에 대한 수기요법(手技療法) 복합치료가 미치는 영향 (Effect of Manipulation Complex Therapy on Ankle Sprain with Ankle Pain)

  • Objectives : This study was to evaluate the effectiveness of manipulation complex therapy on ankle sprain with ankle pain. Methods : We divided ankle sprain with ankle pain patient into 2 groups; one group combined manipulation therapy and acupuncture therapy, another group was only acupuncture therapy. To estimate the efficacy of treatment that applied for two groups, we used visual analog scale(VAS) and ankle-hindfoot scale(AHS). We compared the VAS score and AHS score of two groups statistically. Results : 1. As a result of evaluation by using visual analog scale(VAS) and ankle-hindfoot scale(AHS), treatment score at final was marked more higher than score before treatment on each groups. 2. treatment at final, acupuncture and manipulation therapy group had significant result on visual analog scale(VAS) and ankle-hindfoot scale(AHS) compared with acupuncture therapy group. Conclusions : Manipulation therapy can be used with acupuncture therapy for highly effective treatment for ankle sprain with ankle pain.

RESEARCH PAPERS : CHARACTERIZATION OF DISSOLVED ORGANIC MATTER IN A SHALLOW EUTROPHIC LAKE AND INFLOWING WATERS

  • The seasonal patterns of dissolved organic matter (DOM) in Lake Kasumigaura, a shallow, eutrophic lake, and serveral DOM sources in its catchment area were investigated. DOM was fractionated using three resin adsorbents into classes: aquatic humic substances (AHS=humic acid+fulvic acid), hydrophobic neutrals (HoN), hydrophilic acids (HiA), bases (BaS) and hydrophilic neutrals (HiN). The DOM produced significantly different fraction distributions depending on the origin of sample. AHS and HiA prevailed over AHS in the lake while AHS and HiA existed at almost the same concentration levels in the rivers. AHS seems to be a more dominant component in rever water than lake water. The dominance of organic acids was also observed in the DOM sources: forest stream (FS), plowed field percolate (PFP), domestic sewage (DS) and sewage treatment plant effluent (STPE).

  • This study described the specification and configuration of developed fixed-base AHS (Automated Highway System) simulator fur the human factors researches, and its usability evaluation results after riding 120, 140, and 160kph automated driving speed. As the results, this study suggested the subjects' preferences and opinions about simulator and AHS configurations that would help to establish the AHS R&D plan and driver-vehicle/road interface design guidelines as the basic researches of the AHS human factors.

  • The aim of this research was to compare driver's workload among AHS (Automate Highway Systems) road sections in a virtual AHS environment that is based on a re Korean expressway in order to predict and compare the workloads imposed by the change (driver-vehicle interface and vehicle control authority. Road sections included the M (Manual Lane), TL1 (Transition Lane to enter the automated lane), AL (Automated Lane TL2 (Transition Lane to enter the manual lane after the end of automated driving), an post-AHS manual lane.

청소년의 스마트폰 중독수준과 중독인식간의 일치도 (Agreement between Smartphone Addiction and Perceived Smartphone Addiction among Adolescents)

  • Objectives: This study aimed to identify agreement between smartphone addiction (SA) and perceived SA among adolescents. Methods: This survey was done with 394 subjects conveniently sampled from elementary school (ES), middle school (MS), academic (AHS) and vocational (VHS) high school. The data were collected from June 20 to July 20, 2013 with self-administered questionnaire and analyzed by descriptive statistics, chi-square test and Cohen's kappa (${\kappa}$). Results: High risk of SA showed 2.8% in total, 1.0% in ES, 2.1% in MS, 4.1% in AHS, and 4.0% in VHS, which was statistically different by type of school (p<0.001). Perceived SA showed 22.6% in total, 9.0% in ES, 21.9% in MS, 33.7% in AHS, and 26.0% in VHS, which was statistically different by type of school (p=0.003). The agreement between SA and perceived SA was 82.0% (${\kappa}$=0.54) in total, 91.8% (${\kappa}$=0.53) in ES, 75.0% (${\kappa}$=0.33) in MS, 77.5% (${\kappa}$=0.53) in AHS, and 84.8% (${\kappa}$=0.65) in VHS. Conclusion: The agreement between SA and perceived SA showed moderate in general, but fair in MS. It is suggested to develop step-by-step activities to reduce the gap between SA and perceived SA among adolescen, in particular, middle school students.
