We propose a method using QFD for design the hierarchical structure of AHP. This method provides definition for each area of House of Quality and design the hierarchical structure of the bottom-up QFD/AHP in which the upper hierarchy is designed through the classification of common characteristics with a focus on the lower hierarchy. Finally, we apply it to the development of an evaluation index for selecting heavy lifting service providers. This study has significance as the first instance of designing the archical structure of AHP after objectively verifying whether MECE condition, the basic requirement for AHP design, is satisfied.

The purpose of this empirical study is to evaluate efficiency of the regional public hospitals, using DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis). to do this, we design a DEA-AR/AHP Hybrid model to evaluate efficiency of 34 Regional Public Hospitals. the proposed model is developed by adding Acceptance Region(AR). using analytical hierarchy process(AHP). this model is compared with those of typical DEA models. Financial data used in this study were obtained from Database of the Korea Association Regional Public Hospital and analyzed using DEA model. As a result of analysis, This study found that the DEA-AR/AHP Hybrid model was superior to those typical DEA models in determining the priority among efficient hospitals. the result of this study can provide helpful information to evaluate the efficiency of public hospitals for efficient operational management, to develop more precise measurement for the priority of the efficient hospitals.

The purpose of this study is to determine the optimal gas turbine system for special purpose ships. First we generate critical evaluation criteria an construct their hierarchical structure. The criteria consist of qualitative ones as well as the economic factor. Then AHP is applied to solve the decision making problem AHP gibes good results different from those only by the economic evaluation methods. And during the analysis, the procedure produces many useful informations to the decision making. The results shows that AHP is an appropriate method for these kinds of problems such as the system selection.

In order to find out the customer requirements and to develop new products more effectively, the Kano model and QFD(Quality Function Deployment), AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) developed and applied. But, Many companies difficult to select the CTQ(Critical to Quality) of new product. Especially the life cycle of cell phone is very short. In this thesis, the Kano model and AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) for finding the CTQ(Critical to Quality) for customer satisfaction are suggested. It is explained and discussed with the example of cell phone.

항만배후단지가 잠재수요 고객에게 시간과 비용을 절감할 수 있는 단순 기능에서 벗어나 통합 물류기능을 담당하는 미래형 물류배후공간으로 활성화 될 수 있도록 배후단지를 구성하는 요인들을 평가하고 전략을 도출하는 것이 중요하다. 따라서 광양항 컨테이너터미널 배후단지 활성화에 필요한 요인들을 도출하고, 실증평가를 통해 활성화에 필요한 요인의 우선순위와 전략들을 제안하고자 한다. 배후단지 활성화 요인은 델파이기법을 이용한 전문가 조사를 통해 선정하고, 선정된 배후단지 활성화 요인에 대한 측정영역과 요인들을 평가하는데 있어 다기준의사결정 모델인 AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process)를 이용한다. 또한 분석방법으로 언어척도의 애매모호하고 불확실한 상황을 고려하여 가치판단에 있어 정교함이 더해진 방법론으로 평가되고 있는 퍼지이론을 결합한 Fuzzy-AHP를 적용한다.

이 연구에서는 안전관리체제(ISM Code) 실행지원 모듈개발중 하나인 ISM Code 운영평가 모듈 개발을 위한 기초적 연구를 수행하였다. 특히 ISM Code 운영평가 모듈 개발을 중심으로 AHP의 운영평가 분석과정과 설문지 설계, 운영평가 모형 기준의 위계 구조를 정립하였다는 것에 대해 그 의미가 있겠다. 또한 경영과학 분야의 주요 의사결정 하나인 AHP 기법을 운영평가 모듈 개발에 적용을 시도했다는 것에 대해서도 한층 가치가 있겠다.

In general, reliability of AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) depends on pairwise comparison of evaluators. In addition, human judgment on the importance of alternatives or criteria is always imprecise and vague. To cope with these shortcomings, Fuzzy AHP is suggested and used widely recently. But in Fuzzy AHP, it cannot deal with the evaluator's various attitudes towards risk and confidence owing to evaluator's different expertise and experience. This paper proposes a method for consideration of evaluator's confidence and risk attitude in Fuzzy AHP. And suggested methods are applied various scenarios to verify the meaningfulness. The result shows that the priority of alternatives can be change through the consideration of evaluator's confidence and risk attitude.

This study attempts a comparison between AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process) in which the importance weight is structured by individual subjective values and regression model with importance weight based on statistical theory in determining the importance weight of casual model. The casual model is designed by for students' satisfaction with university, and SERVQUAL modeling methodology is applied to derive factors affecting students' satisfaction with university. By comparison of importance weights for regression model and AHP, the following characteristics are observed. 1) the lower the degree of satisfaction of the factor, the higher the importance weight of AHP, 2) the importance weight of AHP has tendency to decrease as the standard deviation(or p-value) increases. degree of decreases. the second sampling is conducted to double-check the above observations. This study empirically checks that the importance weight of AHP has a relationship with the mean and standard deviation(or p-value) of independence variables, but can not reveal how exactly the relationship is. Further research is needed to clarify the relationship with long-term perspective.
