A study was conducted to find out the relationship of physico-chemical properties (viz. organic carbon(OC), pH, electrical conductivity, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium content) of ginger growing soil with incidence percentage of rhizome rot and wilt disease complex of ginger. Organic carbon content and pH of the ginger soil contributed significantly (93%) in the prediction of ginger rhizome rot and wilt disease complex incidence with negative correlation. Soil having weak acidic reaction with OC percent greater than 2.25 was observed to have the lower average incidence of the disease.

In this monograph, we developed a Remote Courseware Management System so we can more easily cultivate a courseware with various multimedia applications through an easy interface with the internt. In the view of Developer of view, we could develop RCMS rapidly using the application of ASP.NET and have tried to adapt ourself to the future environment using it. ASP.NET provides much richer event programming model than ASP and event processor which are executed on Server. In the view of User, they can used the Internet service with equipment that they want at any place and any time. To control any kinds of courseware for Administrator and Users, we offered a variety of Multimedia applications and an easy interface and built a new style of web courseware.

New and improved preparations of structurally modified nucleosides are important goals in synthetic organic chemistry because of the potential utility of these compounds as synthetic precursors of many biologically active molecules in cells. In our program to synthesize the bioactive nucleosides, such as AdoHcy hydrolase inhibitors and cyclic adenosine diphosphoribose(cADPR) analogues. (omitted)

This paper introduces a basic design for the short-term load forecasting system using a commercial data base. The proposed system uses a hybrid load forecasting method using fuzzy linear regression for forecasting of weekends and Monday and general exponential smoothing for forecasting of weekdays. The temperature sensitive is used to improve the accuracy of the load forecasting during the summer season. MS-SQL Sever has been used a commercial data base for the proposed system and the database is operated by ADO(ActiveX Data Objects) and RDO(Remote Data Object). Database has been constructed by altering the historical load data for the past 38 years. The weather iDormation is included in the database. The developed short-term load forecasting system is developed as a user friendly system based on GUI(Graphical User interface) using MFC(Microsoft Foundation Class). Test results show that the developed system efficiently performs short-term load forecasting.

본 논문에서는 현재 한국항공우주연구원에서 수신, 저장하고 있는 MODIS 영상자료에 대한 DBMS (DataBase Management System) 구축 및 DB (DataBase) data 입력 S/W 개발 결과에 대해 설명한다. 우선, MODIS 영상자료의 DBMS를 구축하기 위한 DB table를 설계하였고, 이를 근거로 Oracle 9i를 사용하여 MODIS DBMS를 구축하여 운영 중이다. MODIS DBMS에 자동으로 MODIS 영상자료의 DB data들이 입력되도록 하기 위해, 첫 번째로 Visual C++를 사용하여서 MODIS DB table에 대한 DB data를 추출하는 ‘getatt.exe’ S/W를 개발하였고, 두 번째로 Visual Basic의 ADO를 사용하여서 ‘getatt.exe’ S/W로 추출된 DB data를 MODIS DBMS에 입력하는 S/W를 개발을 마무리하였으며, ‘getatt.exe’ S/W와 MODIS DBMS 입력 S/W를 한 개의 S/W로 통합하는 작업이 완료되어, 지금현재 한국항공우주연구원 내에서 정상적으로 MODIS DBMS가 운영 중이다.

인터넷 사용자가 급증하고, 인터넷을 통한 비즈니스에 수익 모델에 대한 관심이 높아지면서 방문자별로 맞춤 정보를 제공하는 퍼스널라이제이션이 인터넷 개발자 및 사용자들의 관심을 모으고 있다. 이러한 퍼스널라이제이션을 위해서 전처리과정인 사용자 프로파일 생성과정을 확장된 웹 로그 처리 시스템을 통해서 구현해본다. 웹사이트 서버의 확장된 이벤트 처리, 즉 사용자의 행위정보를 로그에 포함시켜 로그정보를 웹 로그 서버에 전송하도록 설계하였다. 그리고 이 웹 로그 정보를 쉽게 분석할 수 있다. 이때 데이터베이스 저장 기술로 OLE DB Provider상에서 수행되는 ADO 기술을 사용함으로써 확장된 웹 로그 처리 시스템을 설계하였다. 확장된 웹 로그 DB를 패턴분석, 군집분석 등의 마이닝(Mining) 기법을 통하여 맞춤 서비스에 대한 사용자 프로파일을 구축할 수 있다.

많은 지리자료에 대한 효율적이고 효과적인 검색 및 다양한 지리자료 데이터 포맷에 대한 데이터 변환에 드는 비용을 최소화하기 위해 지리자료의 공유, 즉 상호운용(Interoperability)에 대한 필요성이 제기되었으며 이를 위한 표준의 하나로 OpenGIS라는 표준이 만들어지고 있다. OpenGIS는 기존의 표준과는 다른 광범위하고 미래지향적인 특징으로 인해 실질적인 GIS 표준으로 자리잡아 가고 있는 실정이지만, 국내에서는 OpenGIS 구현명세에 대한 체계적인 연구 및 여러 GIS 서버를 대상으로 한 실제구현 사례가 거의 없는 실정이다. 이 논문에서는 컴포넌트 기반의 분산환경에 가장 근접해 있는 OpenGIS OLE/COM 구현명세에 대한 분석을 통해 Gothic, MGE, Oracle에 적용하기 위한 OGIS 데이터 제공자의 설계 및 이를 바탕으로 상호운용을 달성하기 위한 OpenGIS 미들웨어의 설계를 제시한다.

The previous study was an expert system development that help engineers select proper foundation types and construction methods for structures under various subsoil condition. The system includes geographical and geological data in certain areas of Ulsan and a knowledge base for the selection of foundation types. However, the system, a kind of application program, has a weakness that it can be used only when it is installed at each user's own computer. Therefore, the purpose of the research is to more the system operated on Internet and spread over to more users. So, Server Installation, ActiveX, ADO(Active Data Objects) and ASP(Active Server Pages), which are the requirements to operate the system on Internet, are to be investigated through the research.

현재 관계형 데이터베이스상에 XML문서를 저장하거나 추출하는 연구들이 진행중이며 이미 ADO(Active Data Object) 2.5와 SQL Server 2000에서는 각각 일차원적인 구조를 가진 레코드셋을 XML 문서로 반환하거나 조인(Join)된 구조를 XML로 직접 추출해 내고 있다. 하지만 이러한 기술들은 계속 성숙되고 있는 단계이며, 관계형 데이터베이스의 테이블간의 다대 다 관계와 같이 IDREF-lD로 표현되어야 하는 복잡한 관계를 처리하지는 못하고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 사전에 XML과 관련 없이 저장된 데이터베이스에서 추출된 내용들에 대해 XML 문서 형식들을 적용하고자 했을 때 참조할 DTD(Document Type Definition)의 생성과정에서 필드. 순서화를 이용한 IDREF-lD의 모델링 방식을 제안한다.

This paper is intended to trace and management of a medical specimen and its report in a hospital. To avoid missing and decaying specimen and to establish of order in the circulation of specimen, at the moment sampling, RFID tags for each are on examiner. And then, specimen is monitored easily, quickly and, correctly. We developed implementation LIS system has better CQI (Continuos Quality Improvement) using RFID and XML, ADO.net, ASP.net, C# 2.0. RFID technology replaces to an existing the bar-code system. Also for more convenience, we used a PDA-RFID module. The LIS system consists of main sorrel, SQL 2005, event display and analysis web page developed using asp.net 2.0 and sharing specimen data information using XML technology.
