In automotive industry, light weight vehicle is one of issues because of air pollution. Therefore, automotive manufacturers have tried to apply light materials such as aluminum to car body. Welding aluminum using laser has some advantages good weld quality and high productivity. In this study, light emission which is generated in aluminum 6k21 welding with laser is measured using photodiodes. Analysis of relationship between sensor signals of welding variables and formation of keyhole and plasma is performed.

A new hydrazone derivative compound has been synthesized and characterized by IR, $^1H$-NMR, $^{13}C$-NMR and UV-vis. spectroscopy techniques, elemental analysis and single-crystal X-ray diffraction (XRD). The new compound crystallizes in monoclinic space group C2/c. In addition to the crystal structure from X-ray experiment, the molecular geometry, vibrational frequencies and frontier molecular orbitals analysis of the title compound in the ground state have been calculated by using the HF/6-31G(d, p), B3LYP/6-311G(d, p) and B3LYP/6-31G(d, p) methods. The computed vibrational frequencies are used to determine the types of molecular motions associated with each of the observed experimental bands. To determine conformational flexibility, molecular energy profile of (1) was obtained by semi-empirical (AM1) calculation with respect to a selected degree of torsional freedom, which was varied from $-180^{\circ}$ to $+180^{\circ}$ in steps of $10^{\circ}$. Molecular electrostatic potential of the compound was also performed by the theoretical method.

Traumatic diaphragmatic rupture is an unusual finding that may occur after blunt trauma. In addition, diaphragmatic rupture occurring bilaterally is extremely rare. We experienced a 6-year-old boy with bilateral diaphragmatic rupture, whom survived after surgical treatment by open thoracotomy but, complicated with spinal cord injury discovered after surgery.

유색 감자의 일반적인 성분과 무기질, 색도, anthocyanin의 함량 그리고 생리활성에 대하여 검토하였다. 유색감자 계통별로 횡단면의 색소형성 정도에 따라 A. B, C, D Type둥 4가지 형태로 분류되었다. 일반성분은 수분 함량이 75.7-84.3%, 단백질이 1.3-2.7%, 조섬유 함량이 0.2-0.7% 수준으로 계통에 따라 약간 차이를 보였다. 유색감자내 무기질은 괴경 100g당 2-3mg의 칼슘과 1-2mg의 나트륨, 350-510mg의 칼륨을 함유한 것으로 나타났으며, 무기질 함량은 계통별로 차이를 나타냈다. 색차계를 이용하여 유색감자 횡단면의 색도를 측정한 결과, 색차의 크기는 PL-31>PL-6>PL-28>PL-12>PL-4>PL-17 등의 순으로 나타났으며, 관능검사에 의한 유색강도를 시험한 결과 PL-14>PL-31>PL-28>PL-3>PL-17>PL-6 등으로 나타나서 유사한 경향을 보였다. 총 anthocyanin 색소 함량은 계통별로 큰 차이를 나타내었으며 100g 당 3.3-29.0mg 수준이었으며, PL-28>PL-31>PL-14>PL-12>PL-5 >PL-3의 순으로 높았다. 선발된 품종간 항산화력 비교 실험 결과, PL-6을 제외한 PL-28, PL-31 그리고 자심은 대조구인 ${\alpha}$-tocopherol보다 항산화력 활성이 약간 높았으며, BHA의 항산화력에는 미치지 못하는 것으로 확인되었다. 그리고 Gram(+) 3종과 Gram(-) 3종을 이용한 항균활성을 측정한 결과, 4품종 모두 Gram(+)와 Gram(-) 모두 항균력을 나타내었다. Gram(+)에서는 B. subtilis에 가장 높은 항균활성을 나타내었고, Gram(-)에서는 E. coli에서 항균활성을 나타내는 것으로 확인되었다.

[6]-Gingerol, a major polyphenol of ginger (Zingiber officinale), exhibits a variety of biological properties including anti-oxidant, anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer activity. However, the radioprotective effect of [6]-gingerol is still unknown. The aim of this study was to investigate the radioprotective effect of [6]-gingerol against radiation-induced cell cytotoxicity and oxidative stress in HepG2 cells. [6]-Gingerol pretreatment attenuated radiation-induced cell cytotoxicity caused by 5Gy (half lethal dose, $LD_{50}$ of HepG2 cells). The measurements of superoxide dismutase (SOD) and catalase (CAT) activity were also performed. The results showed that [6]-gingerol pretreatment reduced increasing SOD and CAT activity after exposure of IR, indicating that [6]-gingerol protected oxidative stress by regulating cellular antioxidant enzyme (SOD and CAT) activity. These findings suggest that [6]-gingerol acts as a radioprotector by attenuating cell cytotoxicity and oxidative stress.

1. The bottom mean size of the research area had been showed 86.8% in, 13.2% in mud artificial sector, but and 82.4% in mud at comparative sector. 2. The water temperature had been showed $11.2{\sim}12^{\circ}C$ in surface, $10.9^{\circ}C$ in mid layer, $10.6{\sim}10.8^{\circ}C$ in lower layer. also, The salinity had been showed $31.85{\sim}31.95_{psu}$ in surface, $31.82{\sim}31.97_{psu}$ in mid layer, $31.85{\sim}31.97_{psu}$ at lower layer. The transparency was showed 3.6~5.6m. 3. The conservation condition of reefs was partially grooved and buried the lower part of reefs established '95~'96years but was good condition generaly. 4. The attached fauna has been appeared fisheres botanical specise 6, fisheries animate species 5. 5. The lure of fisheres has been appeared 17 species in reefs sector, 10 species in comparative sector(natural fishing ground). 6. The catchs of C.P.U.E by fishery was catched 2.2~3.3 times in reefs sector than the natural fishing ground. but the individuals was much catched in traps. The jumbo type reefs gill netter were much catched in square artificial reefs. The weight of fishery was much captured in jumbo type reefs.

Friction stir processing (FSP) was applied to fabricate AZ31/CNT (Carbon Nano Tube) surface composite for improvement of surface hardness of AZ31 Mg-based alloy. The effects of traverse speed of rotating tool and volume fraction of CNT (i.e., groove depth of 3 mm and 4 mm) on the soundness and hardness of the composite layer were investigated. Multi-walled CNTs were fully filled in a machined groove and stirring tool was rotated at the speed of 1400 rpm. Only under the tool traverse speed of 25 mm/min for the specimen with a groove depth of 3 mm, surface composite layer with no defect was successfully produced. Increased hardness of about 35% was observed in the composite layer.
