BACKGROUND: The objective of this study was to evaluate screening method of residual multi pesticides in dead birds by Orbitrap high resolution mass spectrometry (HRMS) to identify the cause of death for birds. METHODS AND RESULTS: Extraction and clean-up method of residual pesticides in liver of dead birds was used QuEChERS (Quick Easy Cheap Effective Rugged and Safe) and method validations was conducted using liquid chromatography and gas chroamtography with triple-quadrupole mass spectrometer (LC/MS/MS and GC/MS/MS) Also, we were evaluated screening method for the determination of residual pesticides in liver of dead birds by LC and GC Orbitrap Mass Spectrometry. Results of method validations, Correlation coefficients of the matrix matched calibration curves were >0.978, and the method detection limits (MDLs) and limits of quantitation (LOQ) were 2.8~72.1 ng/g (18.4 ng/g on average) and 9.0~230 ng/g (58.5 ng/g on average). The accuracy ranged from 69.1%to 130% (103% on average), and the precision values were less than 14.8%(3.8%on average). The screening of residual pesticides in liver of dead birds by LC and GC Orbitrap HRMS was detected monocrotophos, carbofuran, carbosulfan, deltametrin, benfuracarb, carbofuran, phosphamidon, prochloraz in investigated samples. CONCLUSION: This results showed that accurate mass were extraction of residual pesticides in dead birds by Orbitrap HRMS. It suggested that this screening method is applicable to the residual pesticide analysis for the cause of death as a main tool.
Although chemical fertilizers have a quick effect and broad applicability to agricultural fields, they have caused many problems like increasing soil acidity or decreasing soil organic matters. Environmental-friendly agriculture has been attempted in various ways such as organic agriculture, natural farming, low input and sustainable agriculture. The common interest of all environmental-friendly systems is to decrease burden to agricultural environment by low input of agricultural labor and materials. This study was conducted to estimate overwintering capacity and genetic distance among Chinese Milk Vetch (Astragalus sinicus, CMV) collections based on morphological characteristics and AFLP (Amplified fragment length polymorphism) analysis. Furthermore, the effect of CMV as green manure was observed in mix-cultured paddy fields with rice, sesame and sweet-potato. An another objective of this study was also to compare the pattern of weed occurrence in paddy fields with or without CMV and different rice transplanting times. The CMV collected from Paju district in central region of Korea was successively occurring through self-reseeding without artificial management. However, there was no noticeable difference in growth habit between Paju native CMV and introduced CMV from China which is currently used in farm fields. On the basis of multi-dimensional scaling and tree analyses, there are no significant difference of agricultural growth characteristics among Paju and chinese collections only excepting leaf angle and root length. The flowering time of Gurye collection was fast for 1 week as compared to other collections. AFLP that was commonly used for plant classfication, was applied to exam the genetic variation of CMV collections. Total 579 PCR products and 336 polymorphic fragments were generated using 8 primer pairs.
S City depends on the T River as source water for water supply. Arsenic and boron from the hot-spring waste-water discharged from the hot-spring spa resort and emerging from the fractures of bedrock of the river have been prevalent contaminant of the T River water. This research was conducted to propose the simple and quick surrogate parameter for water quality management easily. And through making hexa-diagram of principal ions in the water samples, existing state of the water and influence of the human activity or geological origin can be figured out. As a results of characteristics of the T River water quality using principal component analysis, the contributory percentages of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd principal components were $40.80\%,\;21.40\%\;and\;11.31\%$, respectively. Therefore it was clarified that the quality of the T River water could be explained by these three principal components. Concentration of the chloride ion, which is one of the characteristics of the hot-spring water, was well correlated to both arsenic and boron concentrations. Hence concentrations of the arsenic and boron in the raw water of the water reatment plant can be predicted by the measurement of concentration of the chloride ion.

Digital Textile Printing(DTP) is appropriate for quick response system(QRS) and is closely connected with high value added fashion industry. Fashion products of high price are mainly silk and cotton. For high quality DTP products, it is important to optimize the parameters of media, pre and after-treatment, ink, printer, etc. DTP for these two fiber materials is also accompanied certainly with steaming as after-treatment process for coloration. Role of steam is like water in exhaustion dyeing. Steam can diffuse dye or ink in printing paste to fiber. Quality of DTP products depend on after-treatment processes such as steaming, washing, drying. Current production amount of DTP is smaller than one of conventional textile printing. However conventional after-treatment system has been using so far. This is mismatched with DTP in terms of process efficiency, spot work of small lot, quality control. In this study, continuous after-treatment system has been suitably designed for DTP that washing and drying are available after steaming. So, It is possible to improve efficiency of DTP process. Especially, the effects of after-treatment process, such as temperature of heat drum, steaming time on printability, color difference, color fastness were examined. Two types of samples(cotton knit and silk fabrics) were used. The results were obtained as follows : First, there is no a wide difference between the K/S values of cotton and silk treated with continuous after-treatment system and those of sample treated with conventional printing after-treatment method. So it is more effective to use the continuous after-treatment system than conventional printing after-treatment system in case of the daily throughput of 1,000 yards below. Second, after continuous after-treatment for DTP, K/S values were increased and lightness($L^*$) values were decreased. ${\Delta}E$ values were below 2.3. Third, DTP samples treated with continuous after-treatment system were tested for fastness(washing, light, rubbing). Grades of fastness(washing, light, rubbing) were above 3 grade.

An analytical method applicable to quality control and its optimum conditions were studied for rapid and efficient analysis of sorbic and benzoic acids used as preservatives in the commercial soybean paste. In gas chromatographic analysis of sorbic and benzoic acids, the application of HP-FFAP (acid modified polyethylene) wide bore column improved the separation ability significantly. By setting the oven temperature of GC to $200^{\circ}C$, the total elapsed time for quantitative analysis was also reduced to the level required in using packed column. By extracting sorbic and benzoic acids from soybean paste with an automatic steam distillation device, the elapsed time for analysis was reduced by 80% more compared to using conventional steam distillation method. The recoveries of sorbic and benzoic acids by the automatic steam distillation were 98.1% and 99.9%, respectively. The sorbic acid was found in 3 samples of 14 commercial soybean pastes, of which contents were $466{\sim}530ppm$, while $0.3{\sim}4.4ppm$ of benzoic acid was found in all the samples.
Objective: To investigate the effects of sperm morphology and their co-incubation with oocytes on the outcome of IVF and ICSI. Design: Strict morphology of washed sperm was assessed by Diff-Quick staining method before or after insemination. And the relationships between strict morphology and outcome (fertilization, embryo development and pregnancy) of IVF(with co-incubation) and ICSI (without co-incubation) were determined. Patients: Two-hundreds-and-sixty-three cycles of IVF and ninety-six cycles of ICSI were analyzed in order to clarify the influence of strict sperm morphology of spermatozoa on outcome of IVF and ICSI. These were divided into four groups. according to fertilization method and sperm morphology(Group 1: IVF, ${\geq}$12%, n:227; Group 2: IVF, <12%, n:36; Group 3: ICSI, ${\geq}$ 12%, n=48; Group 4: ICSI, <12%, n=48). Results: The fertilization rates of better morphology groups were higher than those of poor groups: Group 1(68.1%) > Group 2(62.1%), Group 3(78.1%) > Group 4(71.5%). There was no difference in embryo cleavage rates among four groups (>90%), Regarded with the good embryo rates, Group 1(56.8%) was significantly higher than Group 2(42.3%)(P<0.01), but there was no difference between Group 3(64.7%) and Group 4(61.2%). The pregnancy rates were also higher in better morphology groups as well as fertilization rates: Group 1(34.8%)> Group 2(16.7%)(p<0.05), Group 3(40.0%) > Group 4(23.0%)(p=0.08). Conclusion: Co-incubation with poor morphology sperm might adversely affect the quality of embryos. And strict sperm morphology may represent the ability to establish successful pregnancy. In short, the strict sperm morphology can be a good predictor of IVF and ICSI outcome.
The purpose of this study is to make up for missing of weather informations from ASOS and AWS using artificial neural networks. We collected temperature, relative humidity and wind velocity for August during 5-yr (2011-2015) and sample designed artificial neural networks, assuming the Seoul weather station was missing. The result of sensitivity study on number of epoch shows that early stopping appeared at 2,000 epochs. Correlation between observation and prediction was higher than 0.6, especially temperature and humidity was higher than 0.9, 0.8 respectively. RMSE decreased gradually and training time increased exponentially with respect to increase of number of epochs. The predictability at 40 epoch was more than 80% effect on of improved results by the time the early stopping. It is expected to make it possible to use more detailed weather information via the rapid missing complemented by quick learning time within 2 seconds.
Airline business operates in the 21st century within fast changing market environment and fierce competition. Management of airline companies has faced the need for vast adaptation to new trends in the growth of world economy that are cardinal changes in marketing environment due to quick development of Internet and IT, transport price competition and, as a consequence, low profit margin, diversified customer wants and needs, lack of investment needed for new aircraft equipped with the latest high tech innovations, unpredictable oil price changes, and exchange rate fluctuations. This study is aimed to evaluate the quality performance of cabin service, to analyse, further, the issues that appeared to be the most significant among customers' answers to questionnaire, to explore the relationships between these issues and customer satisfaction, to highlight the essential questions to address, and to provide some practical suggestions. The five dimensions (such as tangible, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy) were adopted to examine the relationship between the service quality and customer satisfaction of Mongolian and non-Mongolian passengers travelling by the MIAT. According to findings of analysis made with use of the SERVPERF model, it can be concluded that Mongolian travellers' satisfaction was effected by 'Tangible' and 'Responsiveness' dimensions of service quality, whereas the 'Empathy' dimension has more impact on the satisfaction of non-Mongolian.

In smart healthcare service, the accurate and prompt emergency detection and notification are very critical to patients' lives. Since these detection and notification of emergency situation are usually performed by the medical staffs, it is difficult to simultaneously support many patients in real-time. This article presents a methodology for emergency bio-data transmission for smart healthcare using personalized emergency policy. It consists of three steps: In step 1, the bio-data is collected by wireless body area network. In step 2, the decision on emergency is made using personalized emergency policy. In step 3, the emergency message including the health condition information is converted between IEEE 11073 PHD message and HL7 CDA. By doing this, the emergency status of the individual bio-data collected from wireless body area network is detected automatically using personalized emergency policy. When the emergency is detected, the quick emergency rescue service can be provided to the patient by delivering to the emergency notification and the emergency bio-data. We have verified the service and functions of the proposed system architecture by realizing it.
Electrical resistivity survey (2D and 3D) were employed for detection of possible weak zone of core zones of three central core earth-rockfill dams in Korea. In the 2D results, the core zones is lower resistivity zone with less than $50{\sim}400ohm{\cdot}m$, and the basement is relatively higher resistivity zone with over $1,000ohm{\cdot}m$. In the 3D results, especially, the weak zone with under $100ohm{\cdot}m$ was detected spatial distribution area in the dam. We also drilled boreholes to collect soil samples of core zones of each dam. Water was not used during boring, because water for rotary wash boring could cause structural damages in earth dams. We found that the soil samples of core zones from all of the boreholes correspond to CL (USCS), but we also found that the fluidized or water-saturated soil samples were found in lower resistivity zones. Therefore, the electrical resistivity survey and drilling method without water are a quick and efficient method for structural-health evaluation which is detection of possible weak zones in earth core rockfill dams.
