  • The operation theory of the Wittgenstein's Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus is the essential basis of the philosophy of mathematics of the Tractatus. Wittgenstein presents the definition of cardinal numbers on the basis of operation theory, and suggests the proof of "$2{\times}2=4$" by using the theory of operations in 6.241. Therefore, in order to explicate correctly the philosophy of mathematics, it is required to understand rigorously the theory of operations in the Tractatus. Accordingly in this paper, I will endeavor to explicate operation theory of the Tractatus as a preliminary study for explicating the philosophy of mathematics of the Tractatus. In this process, we can ascertain Frascolla's important contributions and fallacies in his reconstruction of 6.241. In particular, we can understand the background that in 6.241 Wittgenstein made mistakes and that there he dealt with the addition operation of the theory of operations, and on the basis of this, we can reconstruct correctly 6.241.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of leader-member exchange (LMX) on envy and counterproductive behaviors (CWB) moderated by similarity. Specifically, we focused on the negative side of LMX to examine the relationship between LMX and envy, and the mediating role of envy on the relationship between LMX and CWB. Further, we also examined the moderating role of similarity on the relationship between envy and CWB. Given that CWB can be harmful to any organizational, it was worthwhile to find possible antecedents of CWB, envy and LMX. A total number of 238 employees participated in this study and the results supported our hypotheses. The results of this study can have managerial implications, showing the important role of manager's personalized treatment for each of his/her subordinates.

  • This paper introduces the nonlinear Stream Function Wave Theory for design waves efficiently to compute the wave energy and energy transport quantities and to analyze the effects of nonlinearities on them. The Stream Function Wave Theory was developed by Dean for case of the observed waves with assymmetric wave profiles and of the design waves with symmetric theoretical wave profiles. Dalrymple later improved the computational procedure by adding two Lagrangian constraints so that more efficient convergence of the iterative numerical method to a specified wave height and to a zero mean free surface displacement resulted. And the Stream Function coefficients are computed numerically by the improved Marquardt algorithm developed for this study. As the result of this study the effects of nonlinearities on the wave quantities of the average potential energy density, the average kinetic energy density result in overestimation by linear wave theory compared to the Stream Function Wave Theory and increase monotonically with decreasing $L^*/L_O$ and with increasing $H/H_B$. The effects of nonlinearities on the group velocity and the wavelength quantities result in underestimation by linear wave theory and increase monotonically with increasing $H/H_B$. Finally the effect of nonlinearity on the average total energy flux results in overestimation for shallow water waves and underestimation for deep water waves by linear wave theory.

  • In this paper, we are implemented the courseware targets to the integrated a digital system analysis, a design theory, and a hardware description language training and a logic analysis. This paper consists of two subjects. One is that the learning of a digital system analysis, that of a design theory, and the training of a hardware description language is simultaneously performed. The other is that the experiment of courseware. To learn the hardware description language, the explanation using sound or moving images, setting-up of a simulation or a synthesis program, and simulating are executed on a courseware. And also, we proposed an integrated systems for the hardware description language and a logic synthesis. Also, The reliablity of the tool was verified to be preyed an efficient operation of an implemented digital system courseware tool by korea computer research association.

  • This paper show that we analyze the mise en scene of animation based on the theory of mise en scene in film. The mise en scene of animation has a large range of utilization in contrast to film. This affects the development of film synthesized with an actuality film. The theory of mise en scene of early realistic film director is extended by the animation techniques. And the theory of mise en scene in digital film is raised newly. The mise en scene in animation has the property that ail elements Is represented in one frame. And then this has a success in different aesthetics. The problems of in-country animation - the absence of production in the present condition - is to be achieved by the production using mise en scene.

  • The five elements theory that people in the world objective theory is earned by a long-term observation. The key to the world and everything in the neck. The core content of this theroy is summed up in the world all things wood, fire, earth, gold, water-five material form. In the theory, the chracter's appearance, feature the five elements face is content. And the chracter's appearance, personality chracterisics and features of chracters and abstract nature of the mutual response plan which was formed way. Based on the number of world-famous cartoon chracter design analysis, special features and art theroy point the five elements the nature of man, who looks and chracter design by comparing the response of theroy and research and has the five elements. The analysis of theory and research the five elements art and people who find the nature of the systematic correlation to the future of animation, chracter design is applied.

  • Psychoanalytical film theory promoted by Metz supplied theoritical base in analyzing the effects of mass culture to subject. This theory may be also applied to computer games, so that we would promote studies in depth about game critics and game culture. In this article, first inspected the theories of Freud and Lacan and then examined the psychoanalytical film theory by Metz and Baudry. Computer games analyzed by the frame of artificial regression, first identification and concealment of marks of enunciation. As a result, computer games appeared that deeply effect to the subject similarity cinema.

  • Theoretical estimation of overall stoichiometry for the microbial degradation of hazardous organic compounds is described. Half-reaction method based on microbial energetics was used in the theoretical estimation. In addition to the half-reaction method, other theoretical methods such as intermediate formation, oxygenation reaction, and estimation of the standard free energy of formation by group contribution theory were also applied. As a case study, the application of these methods was demonstrated for the estimation of microbial kinetics in the biodegradation of phenanthrene which was chosen as a model hazardous organic compound along with glucose and hexadecane. The cell yield, oxygen requirement, nitrogen requirement, and mineralization ratio could be estimated from the overall stoichiometry. It is believed that these theoretical estimation methods are useful tools for practical design and assessment of bioremediation of soil and groundwater contaminated with hazardous organic compounds.

  • Theoretical model has been derived in the electrophoretic separation system where an electric potential is applied to the system in the axial direction. The effect of electrophoretic convection in the polymeric media is significantly contributed to separate large ionic-molecules because the conformation of large ionic-molecule quickly orients in the field direction. The dependence of the transport in the polymeric media upon field intensity and molecular size aids in understanding the transport of large ionic-molecule in the system, since the convective velocity of large ionic-molecule is accelerated inside a porous material. The separation of two different large ionic-molecules is predicted with a value of $(Pe_t/Pe_g)$ of individual large ionic-molecule using an operator and the reptation theories.

  • In this paper, I introduce what Boundary-Shifting theories of vagueness (or Contextualism about vagueness) are and what the Context-Fixing Argument is, which is the most powerful and plausible objection to Boundary-Shifting theories. The basic idea of the Context-Fixing Argument is that vagueness still remains even if we hold the context fixed. Many objections based on this simple idea can be found in the literature on Boundary-Shifting theories. It seems that, without a convincing response to the Context-Fixing Argument, Boundary-Shifters must be in trouble. But, oddly, defenders of Boundary Shifters have said very little about this matter. In this situation, ${\AA}$kerman and Greenough try to defend Boundary-Shifting theories of vagueness by suggesting several answers. In this paper, I critically examine their suggestions and develop a new answer to the Context-Fixing Argument.
