  • The main purpose of the study were to investigate a selection motive of clothing and feeling of wearing of Korean junior, high school & university students. The results were as follows; 1. For underwear, the body appearance and hygienical aspect were shown as important factors in a selection motive of clothing. And the property matter and hygienical aspect were shown as important factors in the feeling of wearing. 2. For outwear, a functionality and the psychological aspect were shown as important factors in a selection motive of clothing. And a exercise and psychological aspect were shown as important factors in the feeling of wearing. 3. For pants, the functionality was shown as an important factor in a selection motive of clothing and the exercise aspect was shown as an important factors in the feeling of wearing. For skirt. the psychological aspect was shown as an important factor in a selection motive of clothing and feeling of wearing. 4. The hygienical aspect was shown as an important factor in a selection motive and the feeling of wearing of clothing for comfort.

  • The applications of magnetic fluid can be normally made by 1) using changes of a property of matter caused by applied magnetic field; 2) preserving magnetic fluid at a certain position or in a magnetic fluid keeping the body in a floating condition; 3) controlling the flow of magnetic fluid by means of magnetic field. However, these are usually made by using their methods together. In this study, the natural convection flow of a magnetic fluid in annular pipes is experimentally analyzed. High temperature is kept constantly inside of a circular pipe of experimental model, on the other hand, low temperature is kept constantly outside of it. In experiments, several cases are carried out in order to clarify the fluence of direction and intensity of magnetic fields on the natural convection of magnetic fluid. Therefore magnetic fields are applied in various intensity and up and down directions by permanent magnets.

  • This ppaer presents a bit-rate conversion system for efficient communications between 3 channel CVSD systems with different bit-rates. The proposed conversion system is implemented in the digital domain and specially, the conversion problem between 32 Kbps and 16 Kbps CVSD systems is studied. The conventional conversion system implemented in the analog domain allows signals to be easily degraded by external noises. To overcome this problem, a digital CVSD bit-rate conversion system robust to external noises is developed. the new systemdecodes CVSD bit sequences and converts sampling rates of decoded signals, then encodes signals at target bit-rates. Since linear phase property does not matter in this application, instead of FIR filters a IIR filter is employed to reduce the system complexity. Therefore, a 3 channel digital CVSD bit-rate conversion system was successfully real-time implemented using a general purpose DSP. In addition, conversion problems with unkown time constants were experimented and good experimental results were obtained.

  • In this thesis considering the problems shown in the usage of interlining of clothes and in the process of sewing the breaking away strength which is meant by adhesion is analysed by experimennt in which Polyamide content is dealed with at the 5 level to raise the adhesive strength by using the one-sided non woven adhesive interlining made in this country as the samples. After examing the optimum in the process of Cotton and polyester fabrics and adhered fabrics practical for blouse and jacket and analysing the breaking away strength the wanted property of matter and the change with the repeated laundry We reach at the following results. 1. The adhesive strength of the two adhered fabrics were strongly appeared in order of cotton>polyester. 2. The order of the breaking away strength by the interlinings of adhesive fabrics was A5> A4> A3> A2> A1. 3. The breaking away strength of the two adhered fabrics was weakened by the repeated laundry and the breaking away phenomena were fewer under the most suitable conditions than the various conditions.

  • The technical advancement in and the widespread expansion of use of the internet has recently led to an increase in high bandwidth multimedia data usage. This is largely due to an unfettered access to the internet. The intrinsic merit of the internet, however, brings about a side effect:multimedia date can easily be duplicated recklessly. This invokes the problem of intellectual property right violation. Focusing on this matter, multi-faceted studies are being conducted now. This paper aims to provide, by applying steganography and encryption methods into the SMIL files which supply subtitle data, the intellectual property protection of both motion picture and its subtitle data, as well as the integrity of the contents in question. In order to achieve the above goal, the authors show a particular method how to safely embed subtitle data into the given frames, after they separate subtitle data to encrypt them. By doing this, the authors suggests, the intellectual property right to the subtitle data as well as their integrity can be protected and achieved respectively. Besides, an integrity service for motion picture can be made.

Study on Cold/Oil Atmosphere Resistance Property of Face Seal Rubber for Track Layer

  • A face seal comprising a metal ring and acrylonitrile butadiene rubber (NBR) was installed in the driving part and suspension unit. The seal serves as a bearing and simultaneously prevents entry of foreign matter from external environment as well as internal oil leakage. Subsequently, the rubber-rod ring generates axial pressure owing to rubber elasticity (hardness), performs static sealing function between housing details and outer diameter of seal, and transmits rotational torque to the rotating support ring. In order to improve the durability of NBR, which performs the above tasks, and to effectively use it in tracked-vehicle applications at extreme temperatures, this study reports a mixing design approach to enhance cold and oil resistances of NBR.

  • This paper concerns with exploiting an oblique projection technique to solve a general class of large and sparse least squares problem over symmetric arrowhead matrices. As a matter of fact, we develop the conjugate gradient least squares (CGLS) algorithm to obtain the minimum norm symmetric arrowhead least squares solution of the general coupled matrix equations. Furthermore, an approach is offered for computing the optimal approximate symmetric arrowhead solution of the mentioned least squares problem corresponding to a given arbitrary matrix group. In addition, the minimization property of the proposed algorithm is established by utilizing the feature of approximate solutions derived by the projection method. Finally, some numerical experiments are examined which reveal the applicability and feasibility of the handled algorithm.

  • There are growing interests in environmental friendly cultivation for the matter of health concern. This study analyzes an economic efficiency of strawberry and tomato farming by considering the role of environmentally friendly cultivation. The Database of Rural Development Administration is used for strawberry and tomato farming households. We adopt a Bayesian stochastic frontier model to resolve a small sample property of the data. Empirical finding is that environmentally friendly cultivation improves the revenue of farming but the effect on net profit is not conclusive which calls for future research.

Improving Accuracy of Soil Property Measurements by NIR Spectroscopy

  • Traditional wet chemical methods for testing of soil properties require extensive time and labor, and cause the discharge of pollutants, making them undesirable for routine soil analyses. This research was conducted to improve the accuracy of soil properties in soil fertility assessments. A total of 140 finely ground soil samples were used to obtain accurate calibrations and validation for estimating soil moisture, OM, and T-N. Finely ground soil samples satisfied the improved accuracy for routine NIR measuring of the field soils. The results indicated that NIR spectroscopy could be used as a routine method for quantitatively determining OM, moisture, and T-N of field soil, although this technique requires many combinations of sample pretreatments and data manipulations to obtain optimal predictions.

  • In the rapid changes of the semiconductor manufacturing technologies for early 21st century, it may be safely said that a kernel of terms is the size increase of Si wafer and the size decrease of semiconductor devices. As the size of Si wafers increases and semiconductor device is miniaturized, the units of cleaning processes increase. A present cleaning technology is based upon RCA cleaning which consumes vast chemicals and ultra pure water (UPW) and is the high temperature process. Therefore, this technology gives rise to environmental issue. To resolve this matter, candidates of advanced cleaning processes have been studied. One of them is to apply the electrolyzed water. In this work, electrolyzed water cleaning was compared with various chemical cleaning, using Si wafer surfaces by changing cleaning temperature and cleaning time, and especially, concentrating upon the contact angle. It was observed that contact angle on surface treated with Electrolyzed water cleaning was $4.4^{\circ}$ without RCA cleaning. Amine series additive of high pKa (negative logarithm of the acidity constant) was used to observe the property changes of cathode water.
