  • It was researched to be alternative of TGIC type hardener with human hazard element as PT 910 mix powder paint with hardener. Generally PT 910 was compared with TGIC & Epoxy resin of hardener to be used at thermosetting powder paint. We inquired a property of matter for paint through Gel time, glass transition temperature, melting point and a property of matter for film through a property of adhesion, a property of tolerance, softness, gloss, acid-resistant, alkali-resistant, salt water spray-resistant, facilitation climatic. When PT 910 is used of hardener, it was shown the excellent results in gel time, softness, salt water spray-resistant, fracilitation climatic and the similar results in melting point, a property of tolerance, a property of adhesion, gloss, acid-resistant, alkali-resistant, as compared with the powder paint used by TGIC hardener. The glass transition temperature was little low. But there was slightly different results. After the study results, we reached the conclusion that thermosetting powder used by PT 910 is alterative to by TGIC hardener.

  • Generally, electrokinetic potential has been considered as an intensive property. In other words, electrokinetic potential is not affected by the amount of particulate matter. Montmorillonite, one of essential inorganic matter, was chosen to measure electrokinetic potential. The result of electrokinetic potential measuring experiment showed that the value observed to decrease as the amount of montmorillonite clay increased. This is due to the fact that total ions that adsorbed per unit mass were decreased as the amount of montmorillonite was increased. As a result, electrokinetic potential is considered as an extensive property. By using these results, total interaction energy of suspension was also checked, and revealed that total interaction energy was decreased as the amount of montmorillonite increased.

  • Most of IT small businesses in Korea are companies which usually take parts from the technically advanced companies and assemble the parts into a complete whole for big companies. Intellectual property-related issue of IT small businesses in Korea is not the direct action or claim but the matter of contract concerning the 3rd party intellectual property infringement or the matter of each of the applicable law on the implied liability issues. Because bargaining power of the IT small businesses is not as big as the technically advanced companies, they can not receive explicit guarantees. Therefore, government-affiliated organization should concern about this matter of contract.

  • The way for seller to procure the goods for selling is to produce the goods at his own factory and to buy the manufactured goods from the other company. In order to produce the goods for selling the seller have to obtain the resource from the domestic company or overseas. In the middle of producing the goods to sell, seller may breach the right of a third party based on intellectual property rights. That is to say, seller may use the machine that has not itself been patented and use a process which has been patented by a third party. Seller may manufacture the goods which themselves are subject to the third party industrial property rights. Nowadays it is stressed the importance of intellectual property rights such as a patent, brand, and design. These factors consist of the core elements of the competitiveness of the goods. Many embedded software have been used in the various sector. So the disputes regarding to the intellectual property rights is gradually increasing in number. Article 42 of CISG defines the seller's delivery obligations and liabilities in respect to third party intellectual property rights and claims. It contains a special rule for this similar kind of defective in title, which tries to provide an proper solution to the complex problems caused by such rights and claims in international transactions. When seller will apply this clause to the business fields, there are several points to which seller should give attention. First, Intellectual property is general terms in intangible property rights, encompassing both copyright and industrial property. Which matter fall within the scope of intellectual property? The scope of intellectual property can be inferred from the relevant international conventions, which are based on broad international consensus. Second, Article 42 of CISG governs the relationship between the seller and the buyer, that is to say, questions of who has to bear the risk of third party intellectual property rights. The existence of such intellectual property rights, the remedies available and the question of acquiring goods free of an encumbrances in good faith are outside the scope of the CISG. The governing law regarding to the abovementioned matters is needed.

  • The soil physical and chemical properties are the main factors that influence plant productivity and soil fertility. Since 1999, South Korea has been conducting a survey on changes in the agricultural environment survey every four years. The purpose of the present study is to monitor the physical and chemical properties of soil in Chungcheongbuk-do. Soil samples were collected from the exact sites of the aforementioned environment survey, and land use and cultivated crops were also investigated. From a Pearson correlation analysis, it was found that the total carbon contents were most negatively affected by the soil depth. The bulk density of soil increased up to a depth of 40 cm but decreased to a depth of 60 cm. The porosity and moisture of soil generally decreased, but the porosity increased at a depth of 50 - 60 cm. Chemical properties of soil gradually decreased with an increase of the soil depth from 0 to 70 cm, but little change was observed in soil pH with soil depth. In addition, the organic matter contents of the soil at a depth of 30 cm or more were below the optimal range. The soil of Chungcheongbuk-do thus requires organic matter application as a whole, and correction of items that are partially out of the optimal range is necessary.

  • The society for conservation of local historical properties in Korea originated in Japan. It was transplanted by Joseon Governor-General to represent their positions in the field of the conservations of the cultural properties. Also the society for conservation of local historic properties represented the positions of the provincial government office because the representatives of that societies were the chief of local government offices. At that time, the fundamental concept of the historical property conservations was not settled, so they accomplished the conservation activities as the necessary way for themselves. They often made a proposal about repairs for conservation of historical building and suggested a application for the national budget. And they contributed to carry out the repair works of the historical properties in the early Japanese colonial period. But they was usually used to invigorate the tourism and to publicize the regional characteristics through the historical properties. Although the societies were privately-managed as a matter of form, they were governmentally-managed as a matter of fact. It was the limits of the societies for conservation of local historical properties at that time.

  • This study employed field measurements and biogeochemical analysis to examine the effects of seasonal conditions (e.g., temperature and precipitation) and human intervention (e.g., dam or weir construction) on the chemical composition of dissolved organic matter, flocculation kinetics of suspended particulate matter, and formation of the fluid mud layer on riverbeds. The results indicated that a water environment with a substantial amount of biopolymers offered favorable conditions for flocculation kinetics during an algal bloom period in summer; a thick fluid mud layer was found to be predominated with cohesive materials during this period. However, after high rainfall, a substantial influx of terrigenous humic substances led to enhanced stabilization of the particulate matter, thereby decreasing flocculation and deposition, and the reduced biopolymer composition served to weaken the erosion resistance of the fluid mud on the riverbed. Moreover, a high-turbulence condition disaggregated the flocs and the fluid mud layer and resuspended the suspended particulate matter in the water column. This study demonstrates the mutual relationship that exists between biogeochemistry, flocculation kinetics, and the formation of the fluid mud layer on the riverine area during different seasons and under varying hydrological conditions. These findings are expected to eventually help inform the more optimal management of water resources, which is an urgent task in the face of anthropogenic stressors and climate change.

  • We tested to obtain the excellent Epoxy resins on the property of matter. Existing Epoxy resins is tested to regulate the viscosity, color and hardening time etc. Benzen-ring structure of Bisphenol A type (AY 103) is replaced by Hydrogenated B.P.A type. And hardener is replaced by Polyoxyalkylene Amine. So we are developed into the two resins(L-30, L-40).To know if this Epoxy resins was fitted to repairing and restoration of stone cultural properties. Three kinds of Epoxy resins (AY 103, L-30, L-40) are tested on the artificial weathering test, freezing-melting test, exposure test etc. As a result of test, L-30 is less the discoloration than that of other Epoxy resins and was superior to the excellent property of matter.
