It is found that the commercialization of nylon 66/Cloisite 93A nanocomposite by applying melt intercalation is possible in the composite production facilities of the pilot scale which has been generalized today. The strength and modulus under tensile and flexural stress have been improved with the introduction of Cloisite 93A in nylon 66. Furthermore, it is found through the analysis of morphologic and crystallization behavior that the elements such as content of Cloisite 93A, viscosity of nylon 66 and the crystallization behavior have significantly influences on the characteristics of nanocomposite.

Five representative virulent phages (J1, TK93, K1, PD5, and CP1) and one temperate phage (.phi.1043) of Lactobacillus casei were compared to each other by analyzing the agarose gel electrophoretic patterns of restriction enzyme-digested phage DNAs. Nucleic acids of all the tested phages were double stranded DNA. DNAs of J1, TK93, K1, and ${\phi}$ 1043 phages had a size of about 42kb, but the size of PD5 and CP1 DNAs was avout 140kb. J1, TK93, K1, PD5, CP1, and ${\phi}$ 1043 DNAs were digested to 13, 13, 11, 14, 14, and 12 fragments by EcoR1, respectively, and showed its characteristec restriction patterns. Cohesive ends were present in J1, TK93, and ${\phi}$ 1043, but were absent in K1, PD5, and CP1. Restriction maps of J1 and TK93 DNAs showed nearly complete homology and their evolutionary relationship based upon the restriction analysis was discussed.

We cultivated 117 hybrid strains of Lentinula edodes in greenhouse. 5 hybrid strains(07-55, 07-66, 07-84, 07-93 and 07-117) were selected from comparison of their characteristics of fruiting body and productivity. Biological efficiency of 5 hybrid strains was investigated 36.1(07-66), 35.6(07-117), 27.1(07-93), 25.7(07-84) and 6.5%(07-55), respectively. Selected strains 07-66, 07-117 and 07-93 showed high biological efficiency but observed commercially low quality fruiting body. Temperature type of fruiting body of 5 hybrid strains observed as follows high temperature type(07-117), mid temperature type(07-66 and 07-84) and low temperature type(07-55 and 07-93). Temperature type of fruiting body of 07-93 strain has wide range relatively. In the results, 07-84 strain was selected finally with consideration for quality of fruiting body, productivity and temperature type($8-21^{\circ}C$) in farm test.

UBVI CCD photometry is obtained for the Ruprecht 93 (Ru 93)region. We are unable to confirm the existence of an intermediate-age open cluster in Ru 93 from the spatial distribution of blue stars. On the other hand, we find two young star groups in the observed field: the nearer one (Ru 93 group) comprises the field young stars in the Sgr-Car arm at $d{\approx}2.1$ kpc, while the farther one (WR 37 group) is the young stars around WR 37 at $d{\approx}4.8$ kpc. We derive an abnormal extinction law ($R_V$ = 3.5) in the Ruprecht 93 region.

Neglecting distant zones in the computation of geoidal heights using Stokes'formula give rise to some truncation errors. The GRS80 Korean Gravimetric geoid Model 1993(KGM93) of the South Korea region was implemented, in this paper, using a combination of satellite-derived GEM-T2 gravity and terrestrial gravity data. A spherical cap size of 30 degree is used on the integration and the truncation error is compensated to the free-air geoid. The results of this study show that the accuracy of the KGM93-C has one meter level.
