6 시그마 프로세스를 이용한 소형 직류 모터의 소음 절감 (Noise Reduction of a Small D/C Motor Using 6 Sigma Process)

  • This paper studies on the noise reduction for a small automobile DC Motor (a window motor) using the 6 sigma process. The application of 6 sigma process suggested reliable and valuable statistical data for the quality of the DC motor at the production line. In the measurement step in 6 sigma process. the FMEA(failure mode effect analysis) were used for the detection of noise sources. The application of 6 sigma Process gave not only the improving method for the quality of the DC motor but also the confidence of improvement Itself since it was done on the basis of the test results for a number of DC motors at the production line. Consequently the 6 sigma process was proved very effective for the noise reduction at the production line.

  • This paper studies on the quality problem for the Reley using the 6 sigma process. The application of 6 sigma process suggested reliable and valuable statistical data for the quality of the Relay at the production line. In the measurement step in 6 sigma process, the FMEA(filure mode effect analysis) were used for the detection of problem source. The application of 6 sigma process gave the improving method for the quality of the Relay. Consequently the 6 sigma process was proved very effective for the quality problem reducing at the production line.

  • Because 6sigma is doing innovative success In management whole, estimate that can exert direct effect in interior Design management. Therefore, this study did by purpose that 6sigma that is scientific method that do customers satisfaction by ultimate purpose acts as basic study that can heighten practical use Possibility and result of interior Design management and value by interior design standardization process. Need to use marketing data that is scientific design component at schematic design step for successful interior design that can improve result. Hereupon, this study is doing to big dimension that utilizes 6sigma and makes standard process of only Interior Design, and did to dimension that present study phase verifies if '6sigma' is practical use possibility by intoner design process. Did by method that verification method of 6sigma practical use possibility analyzes "Information transmission efficiency improvement of department store display space" 6sigma project example. When see that example project is analyzed on Improvement constituent that "Design improvement" out of Vital few Xs of statistical analysis item must heighten the customers satisfaction rate conclusively, target process might be established because design becomes center of gravity if did design improvement very first time. Finally, possibility that 6sigma can utilize in process of interior design is verified, and it is scientific methodology that can utilize to all business members that there are not any special category of business even if is in practical use. Such scientific 6sigma method need persistent study that make standard process analyzing a lot of problems that is expected to be beaconed and happens substantially in here after to management development of interior design.

  • Six Sigma advocates rigorous application of quality management tool. Using Six Sigma program provides a mechanism for service organization to achieve organization's goal and customer satisfaction. A model on Six sigma in service organization was developed and applied for the service organization. Questionnaire was developed, and data was collected and analyzed for this study. Conclusively, 6 sigma leadership is the important drivers to process management and customer relationship management. Process management and customer relationship management are significantly related to the job performance and customer satisfaction.

Enterprise already propelling successfully 6 sigma such as Motorolla, GE and consulting companies leading 6 sigma also propose DMAIC methodology traditionally But from making 6 sigma activated, enterprises and 6 sigma consulting companies propose 6 sigma methodology matching office indirection part and research and development part. As the forward example, DFSS(Design For Six Sigma) is R&D part application in GE. This study investigates 6 sigma methodology corresponding to Right Process of the kernel factor. Especially for optimum design of the R&D part, revise DFSS definition and general concept organization through DFSS methodology research and analysis.

  • Six Sigma Management has been introduced as a management strategy by leading companies and some small and medium-sized companies in Korea. But it is not easy for small and medium-sized companies to implement this new management system because of their business environment such as poor manpower or lack of time, etc. This paper proposes an effective implementation model of the Six Sigma Management for small and medium-sized companies using the management by process. First, We review the concept of Six Sigma Management and consider the problems of introducing the system for small and medium-sized companies. And then, Six Sigma Management model for small and medium-sized companies named SIX SIGMA-s is presented. Finally, we present a case study of applying SIX SIGMA-s for a medium- sized company.

6시그마 건설실무 적용사례 분석을 통한 DMAIC 적용 프로세스의 효율성 제고 (Improving the Efficiency of DMAIC Application Process through the Case Studies of Practical Six Sigma Construction Projects)

  • 국내외적으로 기업 간 경쟁은 점점 심화되고 있으며, 경쟁에서 살아남기 위하여 경영혁신전략 방법 중 하나인 6시그마를 도입하는 기업들이 늘어나고 있다. 이런 추세에 맞추어 6시그마는 전략적인 측면과 방법론적인 측면 모두에서 끊임없는 변화를 거듭하고 있다. 그러나 6시그마의 초기 방법론의 선정부터 프로젝트 수행 과정에서 적용된 프로세스의 효과 검증 및 사후관리 체계가 미흡하며, 그 수행 절차가 복잡하고 번거로움이 있어 개선 대상 선정과 수행과정에 있어 다수 기업 내에서 부서 간 협조가 아직까지도 매우 미흡하다고 할 수 있다. 이런 문제점들을 해결하기 위해서는 6시그마가 기업 내 경영혁신의 중심에 있는 상황에서 전사 확산과 전 직원의 참여를 위하여 보다 쉽게 배우고 활용할 수 있는 방법론에 대한 연구의 가속화가 절실한 것으로 판단된다. 이에 본 연구에서는 건설실무 중 6시그마 DMAIC 방법론이 적용된 사례분석을 통해 Measure 단계에서는 잠재인자에 대한 낭비요인 규명방법의 적용을 실시하였으며, Improve단계에서는 기존의 불필요한 단계를 축소함으로써 보다 효율적인 6시그마 적용 프로세스를 개발하여 제시하고자 하였다. 이를 적용한 사례 분석 결과 Measure 단계에서는 낭비요인을 통한 잠재인자 도출이 가능했으며, Improve 단계에서는 같은 결과 값을 유지하면서 기존 프로세스보다 단축된 단계로 개선프로세스의 수행이 가능하였다. 이때 Improve 단계의 축소는 6시그마 프로젝트의 개선효과에는 별다른 영향을 주지 않기 때문에 실제로 6시그마 프로젝트 수행 속도가 매우 향상 될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

경영전략과 통합된 6시그마 과제 선정 방안 (Six Sigma Project Selection Integrated into the Business Strategy)

  • This study deals with the problem of selecting 6 sigma projects. Traditionally, such selection was based on CTQ (critical to quality) or COPQ (cost of poor quality) derived within business units. Since the objective of 6 sigma is to achieve business goals in a short period, 6 sigma projects should be selected and carried out in coincidence with the whole company's strategies. This paper proposes two methods of selecting 6 sigma projects: one is to identify CTQ's by analyzing the company's BSC's (balanced score card) and then deploying them into subunits of the company and the other is to identify those projects with large hidden COPQ or cost of waste by applying value stream analysis and process model simulation to derive process cost models.
