Stone introduced extremally disconnected spaces as the image of complete Boolean algebras under his famous duality between Bool and ZComp and they turn out to be projective objects in various categories of Hausdorff spaces and completely regular ones are exactly those X with Dedekind complete C(X, ). In the pointfree setting, extremally disconnected frame (= De Morgan frame) are those with De Morgan condition. In this paper, we investigate a historical aspect of De Morgan frame together with that of De Morgan.
In the Analysis, there have been many cases of confusion on topological structure and uniform structure because they were dealt in metric spaces. The concept of metric spaces is generalized into that of topological spaces but its uniform aspect was much later generalized into the uniform structure by A. Weil. We first investigate Weil's life and his mathematical achievement and then study the history of the uniform structure and its development.
Purpose: We conducted a comparative study to evaluate the diagnostic values of T1-201, Tc-99m MIBI and I-131 scans in the follow-up assessment after ablative I-131 therapy in differentiated thyroid cancer. Materials and Methods: The study population consisted of 20 patients who underwent surgical removal of thyroid cancer and ablative radioactive iodine therapy, and followed by one or mote times of I-131 retreatments (33 cases). In all patients, T1-201, Tc-99m MIBI, diagnostic and therapeutic I-131 scans were performed and the results were analyzed retrospectively. Also serum thyroglobulin levels were measured in all patients. The final diagnosis of recurrent or metastatic thyroid cancer was determined by clinical, biochemical, radiologic and/or biopsy findings. Results: Positive rates (PR) of Tc-99m MIBI, T1-201, diagnostic and therapeutic I-131 scans in detecting malignant thyroid tissue lesions were 70% (19/27), 54% (15/28), 35% (17/48) and 63% (30/48), respectively. The PR in the group of 20 cases (28 lesions) who underwent concomitant T1-201 and I-131 scans were in the order of therapeutic 131 scan 71%, T1-201 scan 54% and diagnostic I-131 scan 36%. There was no statistically significant difference between T1-201 and diagnostic I-131 scans (p>0.05). In the group of 20 cases (27 lesions) who underwent concomitant Tc-99m MIBI and I-131 scans, the PR were in the order of Tc-99m MIBI scan 70%, I-131 therapeutic scan 52% and I-131 diagnostic scan 33%. The PR of Tc-99m MIBI was significantly higher than that of diagnostic I-131 scan (p<0.05). Conclusion: Tc-99m MIBI scan is superior to diagnostic I-131 scan in detecting recurrent or metastatic thyroid cancer following ablation therapy in patients with differentiated thyroid cancer. T1-201 scan did not showed significantly higher positive rate than diagnostic I-131 scan. Instead of diagnostic I-131 scan before the I-131 retreatment, Tc-99m MIBI scan without discontinuing thyroid hormone replacement would be a prudent and effective approach in the management of these patients.
It is expected that some Josa/Eomi's are frequently used and others are not in the Korean documents. In this paper. we confirm it through the experiment and show that such information is very useful for Korean language processing. In case of Josa. most frequent 9 Josa's occupied 70% of total Josa's and 20. 32. 69 Josa's occupied 90%. 95%. and 99% respectively. Similarly, most frequent 10 numbers of Eomi's occupied 70% of total Eomi's and 33. 54. 117 Eomi's occupied 90%. 95%. and 99% respectively. We propose a dictionary construction method for Josa/Eomi dictionary that is classified by the frequency information. Furthermore. Josa/Eomi frequency results are very useful for the identification of unregistered morphemes and the disambiguation of lexical ambiguities.

In this paper, we constructs face database by using wavelet comparison, and compare face recognition rate by using principle component analysis (Principal Component Analysis : PCA) algorithm. General face recognition method constructs database, and do face recognition by using normalized size. Proposed method changes image of normalized size (92${\times}$112) to 1 step, 2 step, 3 steps to wavelet compression and construct database. Input image did compression by wavelet and a face recognition experiment by PCA algorithm. As well as method that is proposed through an experiment reduces existing face image's information, the processing speed improved. Also, original image of proposed method showed recognition rate about 99.05%, 1 step 99.05%, 2 step 98.93%, 3 steps 98.54%, and showed that is possible to do face recognition constructing face database of large quantity.

In this paper, the actual data of VOC reduction facilities was analyzed through a model that detects and predicts data anomalies. Using the USAD model, which shows stable performance in the field of anomaly detection, anomalies in real-time data are detected and sensors that cause anomalies are searched. In addition, we propose a method of predicting and warning, when abnormalities that time will occur by predicting future outliers with an auto-regressive model. The experiment was conducted with the actual data of the VOC reduction facility, and the anomaly detection test results showed high detection rates with precision, recall, and F1-score of 98.54%, 89.08%, and 93.57%, respectively. As a result, averaging of the precision, recall, and F1-score for 8 sensors of detection rates were 99.64%, 99.37%, and 99.63%. In addition, the Hamming loss obtained to confirm the validity of the detection experiment for each sensor was 0.0058, showing stable performance. And the abnormal prediction test result showed stable performance with an average absolute error of 0.0902.
There are several methods for measurement of cerebral blood flow. A method using Tc-99m DTPA which was injected via antecubital vein and monitored extracranially with gamma camera is described here. In this method, the brain scan and CBF mesurement were performed with scan and CBF were usually studied separately. The results were as follow: 1) Total candidates were 53, male 34 and female 19, who have no evidence of neurologic, cardiac or kidney problems. 2) By this method, the normal CBF of Korean was $54.12{\pm}6.49ml/min/100g$ of brain tissue. 3) The CBF of male was $54.06{\pm}5.9ml/min/100g$ of brain tissue, female was $54.89{\pm}6.51ml/min/100g$, so there was no definite sex difference. 4) The CBF under 10 years of age was $54.12{\pm}2.5ml/min/100g$, $11\sim20years$ of age was $52.33{\pm}6.1ml/min/100g$, $21\sim60years$ of age was $52.86{\pm}5.06ml/min/100g$, and over 61years of age was $55.43{\pm}4.84ml/min/100g$, so there was no significant difference of CBF by age.
The objective of the present study was to explore associations between five microsatellites linked to $Fec^B$ and $FecX^I$ genes and litter size in Small Tail Han sheep. The polymorphisms of five microsatellite loci, OarAE101, BM1329, BMS2508, TGLA54 and TGLA68 were detected in 244 ewes of Small Tail Han sheep. Analysis of association between three microsatellite loci (BMS2508, BM1329 and OarAE101) located in the 10 cM region covering the $Fec^B$ gene (Booroola gene) and litter size in Small Tail Han sheep indicated that BMS2508 had significant effect on litter size in the second parity (p<0.05), but no significant effect on litter size in the first parity (p>0.05), while the other two microsatellite loci had no significant effect on litter size in both the first and the second parity in Small Tail Han sheep (p>0.05). At microsatellite locus BMS2508, least squares means in the second parity of genotypes 101/111 and 99/109 were significantly higher than those of genotypes 99/99, 99/101, 99/111 and 99/115 (p<0.05); least squares mean in the second parity of genotype 101/111 was significantly higher than that of genotypes 109/111 and 111/111 (p<0.05). Results of this study also indicated that two microsatellite loci (TGLA54 and TGLA68) that confined the 28.7 cM region covering the $FecX^I$ gene (Inverdale gene) did not affect litter size in both the first and the second parity in Small Tail Han sheep significantly (p>0.05). The information found in the present study is very important for improving the reproductive performance in sheep breeds by marker assisted selection.
A study on the isolation of Yersinia from the feces of healthy pigs and the biotype and serotype and susceptibility to 16 antimicrobials was carried. Out of 853 pigs, Yersiniae were isolated from 349 pigs(40.9%). Of 349 isolates, 289 isolates(82.8%) were Yersinia enterocolitica and 54(15.5%) were Y kristensenii, 3(0.9%) were Y pesudotuberculosis and the rest 3(0.9%) were Y prederiksenii. Out of 289 isolates of Y enterocolitica, the predominants biotype was 3B comprising of 165 isolates(57.1%) and followed by biotype 2, comprising of 49 isolates(17.0%), bioptype 3A, comprising of 41 isolates(14.2%) and biotype 4 comprising of 23 isolates(8.0%). And the predominant serotype was 0 : 3 comprising of 231 isolates(79.9%) and followed by serotype 0 : 9 comprising of 42 isolates(14.5%) and 0 : 21 comprising of 10 isolates(3.5%). Y. enterocolitica were resistant to cephalothin(99%), novobiocin(99%), erythromycine(83%), ampicillin(83%) and carbenicillin(81%) and susceptible to amikacin(100%), colistin(100%), gentamicin(100%), kanamycin(100%), polymyxin B(100%), tobramycin(100%), chloramphenicol(99%), nalidixic acid(99%), neomycin(99%), streptomycin(99%) and tetracycline(99%). Most strains of biotype 2/serotype 0 : 9 were susceptible to carbenicillin(100%) and ampicillin(61%) but the other biotype/serotypes were resistant to these antibiotic.
A novel $N_3S_1$ chelate, Pro-Lys-Cys (PKC) to cyclic RGD to radiolabel with $^{99m}Tc$ was conjugated in an effort to decrease the high intestinal accumulation observed for $^{99m}Tc$-labeled PGC-RGD. The target specificity of the resulting PKC-RGD was similar to that of PGC-RGD as determined by a cell binding assay and a competition binding assay. The $^{99m}Tc$ radiolabeling of PKC-RGD resulted in radiochemical yields of 98% under mild conditions at high specific activities. Biodistribution data in normal mice clearly showed a significant decrease in intestinal uptake at 2 h postinjection for the $^{99m}Tc-PKC-c$ (RGDyK) compared to the $^{99m}Tc-GC-c$ (RGDyK) (from $19.65%ID{\cdot}g^{-1}$ to $7.31%ID{\cdot}g^{-1}$ for the GI tract). The $^{99m}Tc-PKC-c$ (RGDyK) biodistribution was also shown by a higher retention of radioactivity in the whole body, but with kidney accumulation over 8-fold higher than observed with $^{99m}Tc-PGC-c$ (RGDyK) at 2 h ($12.62%ID{\cdot}g^{-1}$ for PKC-RGD and $1.54%ID{\cdot}g^{-1}$ for PGC-RGD, respectively). These results show that the biodistribution may be altered especially concerning lipophilicity resulting in renal rather than hepatobiliary excretion. This comparative study made it possible to explore the effects of lipophilicity on the biodistribution of $^{99m}Tc$-labeled c (RGDyK) through the use of different tripeptide $N_3S_1$ chelators. Therefore, $^{99m}Tc-PKC-c$ (RGDyK) may be an attractive alternative for the in vivo imaging of integrin receptors.
