IBAD-MgO 기판 위 다양한 완충층들의 비교 연구 (Comparative study of various buffer layers on IBAD- MgO template)

  • On highly-textured IBAD-MgO templates, we have tried to find proper buffer layers among various candidate materials, including $LaMnO_3$ (LMO), $La_2Zr_2O_7$ (LAO), $LaAlO_3$ (LAO), $LaGaO_3$ (LGO), $NdGaO_3$ (NGO), and $BaZrO_3$ (BZO). All buffer layers were deposited on the IBAD-MgO templates by KrF pulsed laser deposition(PLD). LAO layer showed an armorphous phase. LZO, LGO, and NGO layers showed polycrystalline growth. Only LMO and BZO layers exhibited c-axis oriented biaxially textured films. Optimally processed LMO buffer layer at deposition temperature of $750^{\circ}C$ and $PO_2$ of 100mTorr exhibited ${\triangle}{\phi}$ value of ${\sim}-5.2^{\circ}$ and RMS roughness of 5.6nm. Interestingly, BZO buffer layers with ${\triangle}{\phi}$ values of ${\sim}-6^{\circ}$ could be routinely produced over a wide PLD processing condition.

알루미늄 기반 Oxide/Metal/Oxide 구조의 투명전극 적용성 기초 연구 (Aluminum Based Oxide/Metal/Oxide Structures for the Application in Transparent Electrodes)

  • In this study, oxide/metal/oxide-type transparent electrodes based on Al and ZnO were investigated. Thin films of these materials were sputter-deposited at room temperature. To evaluate the thickness dependence of the oxide layers, the top and bottom ZnO layers were varied in the range of 5~80 nm and 2.5~20 nm, respectively. When the thicknesses of the top and bottom ZnO layers were fixed at 30 nm and 2.5 nm, a maximum transmitance of 66% and sheet resistance of $16.5{\Omega}/{\square}$ were achieved, which is significantly improved compared with the Al layer without top and bottom ZnO layers showing a maximum transmitance of 44.3% and sheet resistance of $44{\Omega}/{\square}$.

델타 도핑한 P형 SiC막의 평가 (Characterization of Delta-Doped P-Type SiC Films)

  • P층의 정공농도를 높이기 위하여 ${\delta}$-doped P층을 갖는 새로 구상된 a-Si 태양전지를 제작하였다. ${\delta}$-doped P층은 0.1-0.5 원자층의 박막 B층과 undoped a-Si의 여러층으로 구성되어 있다. B층은 광 CVD법과 열분해기법으로 증착시켰다. ${\delta}$-doped P층 박막에 대한 구조적, 광학적 및 전기적 특성을 FTIR, AES, SIMS등을 이용하여 평가하였다. 이 연구의 결과로서는 ${\delta}$-doped P층을 갖는 태양전지에 대하여 12.5%의 에너지변환효율을 달성하였다.

기계시각을 이용한 고단 직립식 산란계 케이지의 유선 감시시스템 개발 (Development of Wired Monitoring System for Layers Rearing in Muti-tier Layers Battery by Machine Vision)

  • This research was conducted to design and develop a wired monitoring system for judging if sick or dead layers (SDL) exist in multi-tier layers battery (MLB) by machine vision, and to analyze its performance. In this study, 20 Brown Leghorn (Hi-Brown) layers aged 37 weeks old, were used as the experimental animals. The intensity of concern paid by layers on feed was over 90% during 5 minutes and 30 seconds after providing feed, and normal layers (NL) had been standing to take feed for that period. Therefore, in this study, the optimal judging time was set by this test result. The wired monitoring system developed was consisted of a driving device for carrying machine vision systems, a control program, a RS232 to RS485 convertor, an automatic positioning system, and an image capture system. An image processing algorithm was developed to find SDL in MLB by the processes of binary processing, erosion, expansion, labeling, and reckoning central coordinate of the captured images. The optimal velocity for driving unit was set up as 0.13 m/s by the test results for wired monitoring system, and the proximity switch was controlled not to be operated for 1.0 second after first image captured. The wired monitoring system developed was tested to evaluate the remote monitoring performance at lab-scale laying hen house. Results showed that its judgement success.ate on normal cage (without SDL) was 87% and that on abnormal cage (with SDL) was 90%, respectively. Therefore, it would be concluded that the wired monitoring system developed in this study was well suited to the purpose of this study.

New Approach to Optimize the Size of Convolution Mask in Convolutional Neural Networks

  • Convolutional neural network (CNN) consists of a few pairs of both convolution layer and subsampling layer. Thus it has more hidden layers than multi-layer perceptron. With the increased layers, the size of convolution mask ultimately determines the total number of weights in CNN because the mask is shared among input images. It also is an important learning factor which makes or breaks CNN's learning. Therefore, this paper proposes the best method to choose the convolution size and the number of layers for learning CNN successfully. Through our face recognition with vast learning examples, we found that the best size of convolution mask is 5 by 5 and 7 by 7, regardless of the number of layers. In addition, the CNN with two pairs of both convolution and subsampling layer is found to make the best performance as if the multi-layer perceptron having two hidden layers does.

무지개송어 (Oncorhynchus mykiss)의 난소내 협막층(theca layers)에서의 Pregnenolone 대사: cyanoketone과 trilostane의 저해 효과 (Pregnenolone Metabolism in the Ovarian Thecal Layers of the Rainbow Trout, Oncorhynchus mykiss: in vitro Inhibitory Effects of Cyanoketone and Trilostane)

  • [ $3\beta-$ ]히드록시-$\Delta^5$-스테로이드 탈수소효소 ($3\betaβ-HSD,$ $3\beta-hydroxy-\Delta^5-steroid\;dehydrogenase$ $\Delta^5$-스테로이드$\rightarrow\Delta^4$-스테로이드로의 대사경로에 관여하는 효소)에 대하여 특이적 저해제인 cyanoketone과 trilostane의 저해 효과가 $^3H-pregnenolone$ 전구체를 이용하여 무지개송어 난소에서 분리한 여포층, 협막층(theca layers)을 대상으로 비교 관찰되었다. Pregnenolone으로부터 $17\alpha-hydroxyprogesterone$으로의 대사과정에서 주요 효소인 $(3\beta-HSD$ 활성은cyanoketone $10^{-6}$$10^{-5}\;M$, 그리고 trilostane $10^{-5}$$10^{-4}\;M$의 농도에서 억제되었으며, trilostane이 cyanoketone보다 더 효과적인 억제반응을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. Pregnenolone으로부터 $\Delta^4$-스테로이드 대사물 축적에 대한 trilostane의 저해작용은 사용한 농도 즉, $10^{-8}, 10^{-7}, 10^{-6}$ 그리고 $10^{-5}\;M$에 비례하여 나타났으나 완전한 저해효과는 보이지 않았다.

  • 탄소섬유관으로 구속된 원형 무근콘크리트 부재는 콘크리트에 효과적인 횡구속을 제공하며, 섬유의 우수한 역학적 성질로 인하여 기존의 철근을 대체할 수 있는 우수한 합성부재이다. 본 논문에서는 탄소섬유관으로 구속된 원형 무근콘크리트 보에 관한 실험 및 해석연구를 실시하였다. 실험연구에서 시험체는 두께 1.5mm(3장), 2.0mm(4장), 2.5mm(5장) 및 3.0mm(6장)를 변수로 하여 실험을 실시하였다. 구속된 콘크리트의 압축강도를 예측하는 식을 이용하여 본 연구에서는 탄소섬유 관으로 구속된 원형 무근 콘크리트 보의 휨성능을 예측하는 실험식을 제안하였다.

  • Characteristics of carburized surface layers in 0.18C-3.5Ni-1.5Cr-0.2Mo steels for main shaft bearings of wind turbines have been analyzed and evaluated before and after rolling contact fatigue tests. Mixed microstructure consisting of retained austenite and tempered martensite has been formed with compressive residual stresses in the surface hardened layers of the specimens showing uniform hardness distribution with value about Hv700 after vacuum carburizing and tempering. It has been found on the raceway of the layers of the specimens after rolling contact fatigue tests that the amount of retained austenite decreased and compressive residual stresses increased, resulting from cyclic contact stresses applied during the tests. It has been also revealed that higher durability of the bearings can be obtained through controlling the amount of the retained austenite in the surface of the bearing steels to be lower in this study.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of $V_2$$O_{5}$ addition on the Ag and Cu precipitation in the NiCuZn ferrite layers of 7.7${\times}$4.5${\times}$1.0 mm sized multi-layer chip inductors prepared by the screen printing method using 0∼0.5 wt% $V_2$$O_{5}$ -doped ferrite pastes. With increasing the $V_2$$O_{5}$ content and sintering temperature, Ag and Cu oxide coprecipitated more and more at the polished surface of ferrite layers during re-annealing at $840^{\circ}C$. It was thought that during the sintering process, V dissolved in the NiCuZn ferrite lattice and the Ag-Cu liquid phase of low melting point was formed in the ferrite layers due to the Cu segregation from the ferrite lattice and Ag diffusion from the internal electrode. During re-annealing at $840^{\circ}C$, the Ag-Cu liquid phase came out the polished surface of ferrite layers, and was decomposed into the isolated Ag particles and the Cu oxide phase during the cooling process.

Effect of SiO2 and Nb2O5 Buffer Layer on Optical Characteristics of ITO Thin Film

  • This paper presents the results of the optical characteristics of ITO thin film with different buffer layer thicknesses of $SiO_2$ and $Nb_2O_5$ for touch sensor application. $SiO_2$ and $Nb_2O_5$ buffer layers were deposited using RF magnetron sputtering equipment. The buffer layers were inserted between glass and ITO layers. In order to compare with the experimental results, the Essential Macleod Program (EMP) was adopted. Based on EMP simulation, the [$Nb_2O_5{\mid}SiO_2{\mid}ITO$] multi-layered thin film exhibited high transmittance of more than 85% in the visible region. The actual experimental results also showed transmittance of more than 85% in the visible region, indicating that the simulated results were well matched with the experimental results. The sheet resistance of ITO based film was about $340{\Omega}/sq$. The surface roughness maintained a relatively small value within the range of 0.1~0.4 nm when using the $Nb_2O_5$ and $SiO_2$ buffer layers.
