PFOA Free 불소 고분자 및 실리카 나노졸을 이용한 self cleaning 표면 가공에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Self-cleaning Surface Finishing Using PFOA Free Fluoric Polymer and Silica Nano-sol)

  • Super-hydrophobic surface, with a water contact angle greater than $150^{\circ}$, has a self cleaning effect termed 'lotus effect'. We introduced super-hydrophobicity onto aramid/rayon mixture fabric with dual-scale structure by assembling silica nano-sol. Mixture fabric was treated with silica nano-sol, fluoric polymer using various parameters such as particle size, concentration. Silica nano-sol size were measured using particle size analyzer. Morphological changes by particle size were observed using field emission scanning electron microscopy(FE-SEM), contact angle measurement equipment. The contact angle of water was about $134.0^{\circ}$, $137.0^{\circ}$, $143.0^{\circ}$, $139.5^{\circ}$ and $139.0^{\circ}$ for mixture fabric coated with 100.2nm, 313.7nm, 558.2nm, 628.5nm and 965.4nm silica nano-sol, compared with about $120.0^{\circ}$ for mixture fabric coated with fluoric polymer. When we mixed particle sizes of 100.2nm and 558.2nm by 7:3 volume ratio, the contact angle of water was about $146.2^{\circ}$. And we mixed particle sizes of 313.7nm and 558.2nm by 7:3 volume ratio, the contact angle of water was about $141.8^{\circ}$. Also we mixed particle sizes of 558.2nm and 965.4nm by 7:3 volume ratio, the best super-hydrophobicity was obtained. In this paper, we fabricated the water-repellent surfaces with various surface structures by using four types of silica nano-sol, and we found that the dual-scale structure was very important for the super-hydrophobicity.

  • Resveratrol-loaded poly($\varepsilon$-caprolactone) (PCL) nanoparticles were prepared by oil in water (O/W) emulsion solvent evaporation method. The morphology of the nanoparticles was evaluated using atomic force microscope (AFM), in which well-shaped and rigid nanoparticles were prepared. The mean particle size of nanoparticles prepared using only dichloromethane (DCM) ($523.5{\pm}36.7\;nm$) was larger than that prepared with a mixture of DCM and either ethanol (EtOH) ($494.5{\pm}29.2\;nm$) or acetone ($493.5{\pm}6.9\;nm$). The encapsulation efficiency of nanoparticles prepared only with DCM as dispersed phase ($78.3{\pm}7.7%$) was the highest of those prepared with solvent mixtures. An increase in the molecular weight of PCL led to an increase in encapsulation efficiency (from $78.3{\pm}7.7$ to $91.4{\pm}3.2%$). Pluronic F-127 produced the smallest mean size ($523.5{\pm}36.7\;nm$) with the narrowest particle size distribution. These results show that dispersed phase, molecular weight of wall materials, emulsion stabilizer could be important factors to affect the properties of nanoparticles.

급속 microwave 열처리 방법으로 합성한 $YVO_4$: $Eu^{3+}$, $Bi^{3+}$ 적색 형광체의 발광 특성 (Luminescence characterization of $YVO_4$: $Eu^{3+}$, $Bi^{3+}$ red phosphor by rapid microwave heating synthesis)

  • 본 연구에서는 자외선 영역에서 우수한 발광강도를 가지는 적색 형광체를 얻기 위하여 microwave 급속 열처리법으로 합성하여 $Eu^{3+}$$Bi^{3+}$가 도핑된 $YVO_4$의 발광특성을 관찰하였다. Microwave 급속 열처리시 입자의 크기는 매우 미세하며, 응집이 매우 심하였으나 열처리 유지시간이 증가할수록 입자 크기는 증가하고 응집현상은 개선되는 경향을 나타내었다. $YVO_4$: $Eu^{3+}$, $Bi^{3+}$ 적색 형광체의 발광 peak는 $Eu^{3+}$ ion의 영향에 의해 594.9 nm와 602.3 nm에서 $^5D_0{\longrightarrow}^7F_1$ 전자 천이에 의한 약한 발광 peak와 616.7 nm와 620.0 nm에서 $^5D_0{\longrightarrow}^7F_2$ 전자 천이에 의한 강한 발광 peak이 관찰 되었다. Microwave 급속 열처리법을 형광체 합성시 장시간 열처리 시간이 필요하지 않으면서 균일한 activator의 확산으로 인하여 발광특성을 향상시키는 것을 확인 할 수 있었다.

  • Uniform cylinder-shaped precursors for (Y,Gd)$BO_3$:Eu phosphors were prepared by urea hydrolysis reaction. After heating the precursors at lower temperature than general synthetic methods, the phosphor powders were well dispersed and held their original shapes. Their emissions under vacuum-ultraviolet (VUV) excitation appeared with the peaks at 593nm due to magnetic dipole transition from $^5D_0$ to $^7F_1$, 612nm and 627nm due to electric dipole transition from $^5D_0$ to $^7F_2$

  • In this paper, a novel planar type magnetic levitation system without other assistant devices is proposed and it can move with 6 degree of freedom (X, Y, Z, ${\theta}_X$, ${\theta}_Y$, ${\theta}_Z$) in wafer size as well as in nano scale positioning.The mover is composed with 2-D Halbach permanent magnet array and the stator is composed with $10{\times}10$ coil arrays.It was composed in laboratory and tested with short stroke (4 [mm]) and long stroke (160 [mm])movements. The errors of short movement test is [X, Y, Z, ${\theta}_X$, ${\theta}_Y$, ${\theta}_Z$]${\leq}$ [${\pm}200nm$, ${\pm}200nm$, ${\pm}250nm$, ${\pm}3urad$, ${\pm}2urad$, ${\pm}1urad$]The errors of long stroke movement test is [X, Y, Z, ${\theta}_X$, ${\theta}_Y$, ${\theta}_Z$]${\leq}$ [${\pm}200nm$, ${\pm}200nm$, ${\pm}250nm$, ${\pm}1.5urad$, ${\pm}2urad$, ${\pm}0.5urad$].

평판 유리로 봉인된 유-무기 보호 박막을 갖는 OLED 봉지 방법 (Encapsulation Method of OLED with Organic-inorganic Protective Thin Films Sealed with Flat Glass)

  • To study encapsulation method for large-area organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs), red emitting OLEDs were fabricated, on which $Alq_3$ as organic buffer layer and LiF and Al as inorganic protective layers were deposited to protect the damage of OLED by epoxy. And then the OLEDs were attached to flat glass by printing method using epoxy. The basic structure of OLED doped with rubrene of 1 vol.% as emitting layer is ITO(150 nm) / 2-TNATA(50 nm) / ${\alpha}$-NPD(30 nm) / $Alq_3$:Rubrene(30 nm) / $Alq_3$(30 nm) / LiF(0.7 nm) / Al(100 nm). In case of depositing $Alq_3$, LiF and Al and then attaching of flat glass onto OLED, current density, luminance, efficiency and driving voltage were not changed and lifetime was increased according to thickness of Al as inorganic protective layers. The lifetime of OLED/$Alq_3$/LiF/Al_4/glass structure was 139 hours increased by 15.8 times more than bare OLED of 8.8 hours and 1.6 times more than edge sealed OLED of 54.5 hours.

수동 모드 잠금된 100 MHz Cr4+:YAG 레이저에서의 펨토초 펄스 발생 (Generation of Femtosecond Pulses in a Passively Mode-Locked 100 MHz Cr4+:YAG Laser)

  • $Cr^{4+}:YAG$ 레이저 매질을 사용하여 실온영역에서 안정적으로 수동 모드 잠금된 근적외선 펨토초 레이저를 제작하고, 그 특성을 분석하였다. 공진기 내부에 설치된 프리즘의 조절만으로 손쉬운 파장 조절이 가능하였으며, 연속 발진시 1400 nm부터 1510 nm까지 110 nm 정도, 모드 잠금 경우 1500 nm 부근에서 30 nm 정도의 파장 조절이 가능함을 확인하였다. $1.5 \%$의 투과율을 지닌 출력거울을 사용하였으며, 연속 발진시 흡수 파워가 7.6 W 일 때 최대 810 mW 이상의 출력을 측정하였다. 공진기 내에서 발생된 분산을 보상하기 위하여 적외선용 프리즘 쌍을 사용하였으며, 100 MHz의 반복률에서 푸리에 변환한계에 근접한 64 fs의 극초단 펄스 방출이 가능하였다. 레이저의 중심파장이 1510 nm 일 때 스펙트럼의 반치폭은 44 nm였다. 모드 잠금이 꺼지지 않고 장시간 안정적으로 작동이 가능한 레이저 제작을 위해 공진기 내부의 광 경로에 관을 설치하고 질소가스를 순환시켰으며, 평균출력 250 mW로 최적화하였다.

BaMoO4:Tb3+ 형광체의 발광과 농도 소광 특성 (Photoluminescence and Concentration Quenching Properties of BaMoO4:Tb3+ Phosphors)

  • $BaMoO_4:Tb^{3+}$ phosphor powders were synthesized with different concentrations of $Tb^{3+}$ ions using the solid-state reaction method. XRD patterns showed that all the phosphors, irrespective of the concentration of $Tb^{3+}$ ions, had tetragonal systems with two main (112) and (004) diffraction peaks. The excitation spectra of the $Tb^{3+}$-doped $BaMoO_4$ phosphors consisted of an intense broad band centered at 290 nm in the range of 230-330 nm and two weak bands. The former broad band corresponded to the $4f^8{\rightarrow}4f^75d^1$ transition of $Tb^{3+}$ ions; the latter two weak bands were ascribed to the $^7F_2{\rightarrow}^5D_3$ (471 nm) and $^7F_6{\rightarrow}^5D_4$ (492 nm) transitions of $Tb^{3+}$. The main emission band, when excited at 290 nm, showed a strong green band at 550 nm arising from the $^5D_4{\rightarrow}^7F_5$ transition of $Tb^{3+}$ ions. As the concentration of $Tb^{3+}$ increased from 1 to 10 mol%, the intensities of all the emission lines gradually increased, approached maxima at 10 mol% of $Tb^{3+}$ ions, and then showed a decreasing tendency with further increase in the $Tb^{3+}$ ions due to the concentration quenching effect. The critical distance between neighboring $Tb^{3+}$ ions for concentration quenching was calculated and found to be $12.3{\AA}$, which indicates that dipole-dipole interaction was the main mechanism for the concentration quenching of the $^5D_4{\rightarrow}^7F_5$ transition of $Tb^{3+}$ in the $BaMoO_4:Tb^{3+}$ phosphors.

  • 본 연구에서는 장파장 UV 영역하에서 비교적 우수한 발광강도를 가지는 적색 형광체를 얻기 위하여 고상법으로 합성하여 발광특성을 관찰하였다. 발광 피크는 581, 587, 593nm의 약한 발광 peak과 611 nm의 최대 peak을 관찰 할 수 있는데 이들 중 581, 587, 593nm의 peak들은 $^5D_0{\rightarrow}^7F_1$로의 전자천이에 기인하는 발광 peak들이며, 611 nm의 최대 발광 peak과 630nm의 약한 peak은 $^5D_0{\rightarrow}^7F_2$로의 전자 천이에 기인하는 발광 peak들이다. 또한 합성된 적색 형광체는 $310{\sim}390nm$의 broad한 흡수피크를 나타낸다. 또한 융제를 0.43mo1% $H_3BO_3$와 2.08mo1% $BaCl_2{\cdot}2H_2O$를 첨가한 입자 크기는 $700{\sim}800nm$로 매우 균일하게 성장되었다.

Semi-analytical Numerical Analysis of the Core-size and Electric-field Intensity Dependency of the Light Emission Wavelength of CdSe/ZnS Quantum Dots

  • I performed a semi-analytical numerical analysis of the effects of core size and electric field intensity on the light emission wavelength of CdSe/ZnS quantum dots (QDs). The analysis used a quantum mechanical approach; I solved the Schrödinger equation describing the electron-hole pairs of QDs. The numerical solutions are described using a basis set composed of the eigenstates of the Schrödinger equation; they are thus equivalent to analytical solutions. This semi-analytical numerical method made it simple and reliable to evaluate the dependency of QD characteristics on the QD core size and electric field intensity. As the QD core diameter changed from 9.9 to 2.5 nm, the light emission wavelength of CdSe core-only QDs varied from 262.9 to 643.8 nm, and that of CdSe/ZnS core/shell QDs from 279.9 to 697.2 nm. On application of an electric field of 8 × 105 V/cm, the emission wavelengths of green-emitting CdSe and CdSe/ZnS QDs increased by 7.7 and 3.8 nm, respectively. This semi-analytical numerical analysis will aid the choice of QD size and material, and promote the development of improved QD light-emitting devices.
