20대 못지않은 몸매를 지닌 40~50대 여성들이 주목을 받고 있다. 아름다운 몸매로 잘 알려진 배우 황신혜, 보디빌더 이현아뿐만 아니라 주변에서도 심심치 않게 자신을 가꾸는 데 관심이 많은 40~50대 여성들을 만날 수 있다. 이들의 가장 큰 고민은 나이가 들어갈수록 하루가 다르게 늘어나는 뱃살이다.

본 설문은 지난 7월에 개최된 농어촌산업박람회에서 소비자를 대상으로 계란과 닭고기에 대한 소비경향을 조사한 것이다. 이번에 참여한 소비자들은 계란분야에 347명(남성 47.3%, 여성 52.7%), 닭고기 분야에 237명(남성 46%, 여성 54%)이 설문에 참여하였다. 참여 연령층을 보면 계란분야는 20대(5.8%), 30대(14.2%), 40대(17.1%), 50대(31.5%), 60대(22.8%), 70대 이상(8.7%)로 나타났으며, 닭고기분야는 20대(4.7%), 30대(9.8%), 40대( 19.1%), 50대(26.4%), 60대(27.2%), 70대(12.8%)로 4,50대 소비자들의 참여비중이 높았다.

본 연구의 목적은 중국의 북경과 상해에 거주하는 성인 여성의 체형을 각 거주 지역(북경ㆍ상해)의 연령대(20대, 30대, 40대)별 신체적 특성을 파악하는 것이다. 연구문제는 다음과 같다. 1. 중국 성인 여성의 각 거주 지역의 연령대별 신체 계측치를 비교한다. 2. 중국 성인 여성의 각 거주 지역의 연령대별 요인점수를 비교한다. 3. 중국 성인 여성의 각 거주 지역의 연령대별 유형의 분포 경향을 파악한다. 연구 방법은 중국 북경과 상해에 거주하는 20세에서 49세 성인 여성 578명을 대상으로 인체 계측하였다. (중략)

The aim of this study was to measure the suprathreshold taste intensity for NaCl, sucrose, citric acid, and quinine HCl in elderly Korean women using a whole-mouth, sip-and-spit procedure, employing the method of magnitude matching. The results were analysed in terms of aging, menopause, and salivary flow rate. 31 elderly women (mean age; $50.8{\pm}5.1$ years) and 30 young women (mean age; $25.1{\pm}1.71$ years) were included for the study. Subjects were instructed to give nonmodulus magnitude estimates to the intensities of five concentrations each of sucrose, NaCl, citric acid, and quinine HCl; distilled water; 6 loudness level of a 1,000-Hz tone, using the same 9-point intensity scale. Each of the 21 taste stimuli and 6 auditory stimuli are presented in random order twice. The auditory function is used to assess the absolute intensity function of the subject's taste system. The results were as follows; 1. Comparing to young women, elderly women showed decreased taste intensities for lower concentration solutions of NaCl and sucrose. However, other solutions didn't show any difference in taste intensities between young and elderly women. 2. There were not significant difference in perceived taste intensities for NaCl, sucrose, citric acid, and quinine HCl between menopause and pre-menopause women in elderly women group. 3. There were not significant difference in perceived taste intensities for NaCl, sucrose, and quinine HCl between low salivation women and high salivation women in elderly women group. 4. The low salivation women in elderly group showed higher taste intensity for low concentration citric acid than high salivation women.

20대부터 시작하여 30, 40대 여성의 몸에 소리 없이 파고들어 건강을 앗아가는 병 '자궁근종'은 초기에는 징후가 뚜렷하지 않고, 증상이 많이 진행되었을 경우 자궁을 적출하는 결과를 가져와 더욱 무섭게 우리를 위협하고 있다.

자궁근종은 우리나라 여성의 약 40%에서 발견되는 질환 중 하나다. 국민건강보험공단 건강보험정책연구원 자료에 따르면 과거 5년 사이 자궁근종 환자가 20% 이상 크게 늘어난 것으로 분석되었다. 자궁근종 진료인원은 2005년 19만 5,000명에서 2009년 23만 7,000명으로 매년 증가하고 있는 것으로 나타났고 2009년 실 진료비는 999억 원에 달했다. 이 중 20~30대 가임기 여성들의 환자 수가 계속해서 증가하는 추세이며, 30~40대 환자의 비율은 70%에 달해 여성들의 자궁근종에 대한 관심이 날로 높이지고 있다.

통계청의 '2018년 경력단절여성 현황'을 보면, 지난해 4월 기준으로 15~54세 기혼여성 가운데 경력단절여성은 184만7000명으로 전년 대비 1만5000명(0.8％) 늘었다. 경력단절여성의 비중도 20.5％로 1년 전보다 0.5％포인트 상승했다. 2015년 21.7％, 2016년 20.5％, 2017년 20.0％로 점차 떨어지다가 다시 반등세로 돌아섰다. 경력단절여성의 경우 재취업 성공도 힘들었다. 지난해 경력단절 후 다시 취업한 기혼여성은 1년 전보다 50만7000명(19.6％) 줄어든 208만3000명으로 2014년 통계작성 이후 가장 적었다. 경력단절 후 다시 취업한 이들의 비중도 지난해 23.1％로 최저였다. 경제활동을 시작하는 20대부터 경력을 쌓아가는 30대, 40대는 노동자의 생산성이 증폭되는 시기인데, 정작 여성은 이 연령대에 결혼 임신 출산 육아로 인해 경력이 단절되는 현실이다. 본 연구는 우리나라 경력단절여성의 자기지각, 사회적지지 및 대처행동이 취창업의지와 삶의 질에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구로 최근의 정부정책에 있어서 이슈가 되고 있는 사항들을 연구할 예정이다.

This study observes how the conjugal sharing of the roles such as breadwinning, housework/childcare, and leisure activities affects wives' marital satisfaction, and how the relationships among the considered variables are similar or different across age categories. Two dependent variables, the relationship satisfaction and the marital happiness, are measured and estimated as the concept of the marital satisfaction. Analysed is the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families 2008 collected by Korean Women's Development Institute. Among women in the ages of 30s-50s, full-time housewives with the breadwinning husbands feel happier with their marriage than the wives in dual career families, and those in dual career families are happier than the breadwinning women with the househusbands. Among the women in their 40s, the highest relationship satisfaction is reported by the those of the dual career families. Wives in their 30s prefer equal division of familywork in explaining the relationship satisfaction, while wives in the age of 40s and 50s show only the effect of reducing wives' portion. The co-spousal leisure activity is consistently significant in its positive relationship with the marital satisfaction across the age categories. There is a general tendency that the marital satisfaction is the highest in the youngest age bracket and the lowest in the oldest. For managing better marriages, individual efforts of both spouses as well as social support are required.

여성의 건강은 부인과 건강검진부터 시작된다. 미혼여성의 경우 산부인과 방문을 꺼려 검사로 예방할 수 있는 질환을 키워 수술까지 받는 경우도 있다. 이를 예방하기 위해 미혼여성에게 필요한 건강검진, 결혼 전 예비신부에게 필요한 건강검진, 40, 50대 폐경기에 필요한 여성들의 건강검진에 대해 알아봤다.
