  • Objectives: This study aimed to find determinants of customers' use of and satisfaction with oriental medical services in Korea. Methods: A total of 33 articles which consist of 9 articles published in academic journals, 20 master's theses, and 4 doctoral dissertations were included in the systematic review. Among the articles used in the study, 29 used primary survey data, while 4 used secondary data produced by the Korean National Health and Nutrition Evaluation Survey. Results: First, it was found that people who prefer to use oriental medical services usually have one or more of the following diseases: musculoskeletal disorders, paralysis, or diseases or injuries without clear diagnosis. Other variables of gender, age, expectation of treatment outcome, and kindness of doctor and other staff were found to be significant determinants of using the oriental medical services. Second, the determinants of customers' satisfaction with oriental medical services were found to be age, gender, level of education, chronic disease with long length of stay, kindness of staff, medical cost, clinical environment, doctor's reputation, and public image of the institutions. Conclusion: The results of this study can be used to develop marketing strategies for oriental medical institutions in Korea.

  • In companies competing for today's information society, Data quality deterioration is causing a negative influence to generate company competitiveness fall and new cost. A lot of Preceding study about data qualify have been proceeded in order to solve a problem of these data qualify deterioration. Among the sides of data qualify, it has been studied mainly on qualify of the data valve and quality of data service that are the results quality concept. However. this study studied structural qualify of the data which were cause quality concept in a viewpoint of meta data management and presented data quality management maturity model through this. Also empirically this study verified that data quality improved if the management level matured.

  • Esophageal cancer has one of the highest malignant potentials of any type of tumor. The 3-field lymph node dissection is the standard procedure in Japan for surgically curable esophageal cancer in the middle or upper thoracic esophagus. Minimally invasive esophagectomy is being increasingly performed in many countries, and several studies report its feasibility and curability; further, the magnifying effect of the thoracoscope is another distinct advantage. However, few studies have reported that minimally invasive esophagectomy is more beneficial than open esophagectomy. A recent meta-analysis revealed that minimally invasive esophagectomy reduces blood loss, respiratory complications, the total morbidity rate, and hospitalization duration. A randomized study reported that the pulmonary infection rate, pain score, intraoperative blood loss, hospitalization duration, and postoperative 6-week quality of life were significantly better with the minimally invasive procedure than with other procedures. In the future, sentinel lymph node mapping might play a significant role by obtaining individualized information to customize the surgical procedure for individual patients' specific needs.

  • This study is investigating the fire resistant finishing materials composed of fly ash and glass forming light weight aggregate has the high temperature thermal stability. High temperatures such as a fire, cementitious materials beget dehydration and micro crack of cement matrix. From the test result, developed fire resistant finishing materials showed good stability in high temperatures. These high temperature stability is caused by the ceramic binding and low thermal conductivity of glass forming light weight aggregate. Also, alkali activation reaction of fly ash and meta kaolin not showing the decomposition of calcium hydrates. Thus, this result indicates that it is possible to fire resistant finishing light weight mortars.

  • Objectives This systematic review will analyse randomised controlled trials (RCTs) of manual therapy in patients with temporomandibular disorders (TMDs) to evaluate the efficacy of this approach. Methods RCTs will be identified in the following ten databases based on searches starting with their inception: MEDLINE, EMBASE, CENTRAL, four Korean databases as KoreaMed, DBPIA, NDSL, and RISS and three Chinese databases as CNKI, VIP and Wanfang. The quality of these studies will be analysed using the Cochrane risk of bias. A meta-analysis will be conducted, and subgroup analysis will be considered if comparatively large heterogeneity is detected. Conclusions We plan to publish this systematic review in a peer-reviewed journal. Findings from this review may contribute to the treatment process in clinical situations. • Development of IT technology, in combination with the medical area, a number of developments have been made of the digital advanced medical devices, also increased interest in health, sharing of medical information has become increasingly necessary. Standardization for medical information sharing to satisfy these requirements have been studied. However, the medical information system is to build a system independent hospital itself, is difficult to share and exchange medical data with other medical institutions. In this paper, we provide a medical cloud system that can share medical information. Use DBaaS of cloud services. And is an international standard to have a HL7 share information by forming a meta-schema, each of the data transfer, the format of the document oriented data solves the heterogeneity between hospitals. Extracts the required field name of examination information, to exchange information with each of the local information and mapping. Health diagnostic information in the present study and diagnosis through accurate information sharing and exchange is possible ongoing management.

  • Hydroxybenzoic acids are the most important intermediates in the degradative pathways of various aromatic compounds. Microorganisms catabolize aromatic compounds by converting them to hydroxylated intermediates and then cleave the benzene nucleus with ring dioxygenases. Hydroxylation of the benzene nucleus of an aromatic compound is an essential step for the initiation and subsequent disintegration of the benzene ring. The incorporation of two hydroxyl groups is essential for the labilization of the benzene nucleus. Monohydroxybenzoic acids such as 2-hydroxybenzoic acid, 3-hydroxybenzoic acid, and 4-hydrosybenzoic acid, opr pyrocattechuic acid that are susceptible for subsequent oxygenative cleavage of the benzene ring. These terminal aromatic intermediates are further degraded to cellular components through ortho-and/or meta-cleavage pathways and finally lead to the formation of constituents of the TCA cycle. Many groups of microorganisms have been isolated as degraders of hydroxybenzoic acids with diverse drgradative routes and specific enzymes involved in their metabolic pahtway. Various microorganisms carry out unusual non-oxidative decarboxylation of aromatic acids and convert them to respective phenols which have been documented. Futher, Pseudomonas and Bacillus spp. are the most ubiquitous microorganisms, being the principal components of microflora of most soil and water enviroments.

  • Objectives: The purpose of this review is to introduce reporting guidelines for health promotion research in an effort to enhance systematic structure and quality of health promotion research reported in academic papers. Methods: Widely accepted guidelines were selected for description, which focus on 4 distinct types of research design. Checklists and flow diagrams are described and compared. Results: CONSORT Statement is reporting guidelines for randomized controlled trials with a 25-item checklist and a flow diagram. TREND Statement with a 22-item checklist is to guide reporting of health research in nonrandomized design. STROBE Statement is a compiled guidelines for observational health research, accompanied by a 22-item checklist in a combined edition. PRISMA Statement consists of a 27-item checklist and a flow diagram, providing guidelines for reporting systematic reviews and meta-analyses. All items on the checklists and flow diagrams were introduced and discussed. Conclusion: Solid understanding of research designs and adoption of reporting guidelines will enhance the quality of research with information on internal and external validity. Education and training of researchers on the research reporting is required along with systems level adoption of efforts for research enhancement.

  • In this paper, We proposed the method of recognition and analysis of human activites using Motion vector in real-time surveillance system. We employs subtraction image techniques to detect blob(human) in the foreground. When MPEG-4 video recording EPZS(Enhanced Predicted Zonal Search) is detected the values of motion vectors were used. In this paper, the activities of human recognize and classified such as meta-classes like this {Active, Inactive}, {Moving, Non-moving}, {Walking, Running}. Each step was separated using a step-by-step threshold values. We created approximately 150 conditions for the simulation. As a result, We showed a high success rate about 86~98% to distinguish each steps in simulation image.
