Empirical Analysis of the Effect of 3D Avatars on Consumer's Online Purchasing Behavior in Virtual World : Emphasis on Trust Transference (가상세계에서 3차원 아바타 판매원이 소비자 온라인 구매 행위에 미치는 영향에 관한 실증연구 : 신뢰전이를 중심으로)

  • Virtual world typically characterized by Second Life (www.secondlife.com) has been successfully drawing a great deal of potential users all around the world. Attention towards 3D avartars has been increasing exponentially especially in the electronic commerce world. 3D avatars have firm position in the virtual world. This study is launched to explore this research void in which trust transference from 3D-avatars-sales representative to customers purchase intention will be especially analyzed on. To perform experiments, a research model was built in a form of path analysis. Two types of 3D avatars were designed and implemented-at-tractive type and professional type. Questionnaire survey was adopted, and empirical analysis results were obtained from the research model. Results reveal that the proposed hypotheses are proven with statistical significance.

  • The success of a three-dimensional blockbuster movie, AVARTA, brought an public attention on the expansion of three-dimensional computer applications, and it allows experts predict further hardware technology developments to support the such applications. Futhermore, an internet based infra structure and three-dimensional structure, third generation network community, advanced computer networks have influenced advancement in computer technology within the 3D game industry and the spread of 2D computer animation technologies. This advancement of computer technologies allow the industry to overcome a limitation of generating cultural design contexts existed within 2D network community. However, despite of the expansion of 2D and 3D computer technologies, a limitation of analysing designers' intentions on morphology of digital contents and user interface still exists. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to analyze (1) present conditions of the 3D industry and (2) protocols of designers' cognitive design processes based on their design communication, contents, and tools. Analysis was conducted based on literature reviews and case precedent analyses. For the analysis, a 2D Avarta sketch character was designed and then applied into a 3D game system. Observations how designers solve cultural problem within the structure via Avarta were conducted. Outcomes were then coded for further analysis.

  • 현대 시각예술의 총아로 불리는 3D 캐릭터 애니메이션 제작기술은 영화, TV, 광고, 인터넷, 게임 등에서 많이 활용되고 있고, 제작기술 또한 나날이 발전하고 있다. 하지만 하나의 완성된 캐릭터 애니메이션이 제작되기까지 수없이 많은 비용과 시간을 필요로 한다. 본 시스템은 Humanoid 기반으로 3D 아바타를 생성하고, 캐릭터 애니메이션의 모델링에 있어서 자연스러운 애니메이션을 좀더 쉽고 유용하게 표현하기 위한 방법을 구현한다. 또한 캐릭터 데이터와 애니메이션 데이터를 어느 정도 분리하여 한번 생성된 애니메이션을 다른 캐릭터에 그대로 적용시켜 재사용할 수 있도록 하였다.

  • 영화 "아바타"가 개봉되면서 입체 콘텐츠 특히 입체 영화에 대해 많은 사람들이 관심을 갖게 되었다. 초기 국내에서, 스테레오 영상 제작 시도는 많았지만, 입체 영상을 단순히 한 쌍의 영상을 보여주는 것으로 생각하여 잘못 제작되는 경우가 많았다. 입체영상 제작 기술은 한 쌍의 영상을 인간의 양안에 각각의 영상을 보여주면 3차원으로 인식한다는 데 기술적 근간을 두고 있으나, 초기엔 실세계에서 인간이 인식하는 것과 유사하게 처리되지 않아 시각피로를 유발하는 경우가 많았다. 그래서, 본 원고에서는 "아바타" 영화와 같은 입체영상을 제작하기 위해 어떠한 기술과 고려되어야 할 사항들이 있는지 살펴본다. 현재 입체 영상 획득 방식인 두 대의 카메라를 이용하여 실사로 촬영하는 데 필요한 기술과, 그 결과 영상을 후반작업에서 보정하고 합성하여 시각피로를 최소화하는 방법 및 기술들을 중심으로 살펴본다.

  • AVASWI 시스템이 기존의 아바타 시스템과 다른 점은 아바타를 표현하기 위하여 GIF나 Flash등을 이용하지 않고 W3C의 2D 그래픽 표준인 SVG를 이용하는 것이다. SVG는 XML의 서브셋으로서 SVG를 저장하기 위해서는 XML을 위한 저장소를 이용할 수 있으나, SVG는 기존의 다른 XML과 다르게 속성과 그에 대한 값이 매우 중요한 역할을 수행한다. 이에 본 논문에서는 SVG를 효과적으로 저장하기 위하여 기존의 Shared-Inlining방법을 확장한 Extended-Inlining방법을 설계, 구현하였다.

  • 현재 코로나 19로 인한 각종 지역특산품 축제가 축소 및 취소되어 지역발전에 저해 요인을 해결할 대책이 필요하다. 기존 특산품 축제의 문제점은 상품 품질의 우수성은 있지만, 접근성에 어려움이 있고 지속적인 정부의 방역지침으로 대면이 필수적인 특산품 경제에 타격을 입는다. 본 논문에서는 해당 문제를 해결하기 위해 비대면 메타버스형 VR 기술을 접목한 지역경제 및 관광 활성화를 제안한다. 해당 솔루션은 포톤서버를 활용한 실감형 체험 및 멀티접속을 구현하고 VR-Chatting 기술을 활용하여 대화로 시장 상품을 의견조율 가능한 시스템을 구현하였으며, 3D 아바타 모델링 기술을 활용해 지역별 특성화 캐릭터 제작 및 지역특산품 홍보로 기존 특산품 축제의 문제점을 해결하는 솔루션을 제안한다.

  • The Internet has brought many changes in our daily lives. Now the recognition on the Internet fashion shopping matt has increased and it requires scientific and systematic research to understand the Internet fashion marketing system more correctly and to strengthen the marketing activity at the virtual space. A big shortcoming of an Internet fashion mall is that the consumers can't wear clothes themselves. Currently there is no system to cover the shortcoming, It would be nice if a 3D avata wears the clothes on behalf of a consumer after inputting the information of physical sizes of a consumer. The consumers can select many clothes, accessories and even the background. After establishing a complete virtual fashion shopping mall, the consumers who sue the Internet fashion shopping mall could wear the clothes at an online shop establishing an online shopping environment. It will be a sole way to ensure the trust of the consumers. This paper studies the read in reflection by PC camera and sample the edge detection. Virtual fitting system that wears virtual fitting model some clothes is establishment.

  • Due to COVID-19, which has thrown the whole world into chaos, it has become an era where many technologies and contents are made non-face-to-face. At the same time, the popularity of the metaverse service is also increasing day by day, and the virtual costume (avatar) industry, one of the sub-industries, is also growing. In this study, we designed and developed a system for creating virtual costumes to be uploaded to ZEPETO, a mobile metaverse service. Unlike the existing service that requires a program that operates in a PC environment, it can be produced only by shooting and simple operation through a mobile device. With the advantage of being able to process all tasks of this system in a mobile environment, small businesses and individual operators who are not familiar with external programs will be able to more easily access the 3D virtual clothing industry.

  • Due to the increase of the Broadband Networks and Internet users culture contents in Virtual Environment such as education entertainment and culture are constantly demanded with respect to usability and effectiveness. Mostly existing virtual amusement land$ tend to retain limitations and shortcomings caused by two dimensional interface. This facts may have users directly search amusement facilities themselves resulting in lots of inconvenience. In the work here, a virtual amusement land led by 3D characters is presented. The interactive contents which users can actively participate in is developed.

  • We propose an emotional facial avatar that portrays the user's facial expressions with an emotional emphasis, while achieving visual and behavioral realism. This is achieved by unifying automatic analysis of facial expressions and animation of realistic 3D faces with details such as facial hair and hairstyles. To augment facial appearance according to the user's emotions, we use emotional templates representing typical emotions in an artistic way, which can be easily combined with the skin texture of the 3D face at runtime. Hence, our interface gives the user vision-based control over facial animation of the emotional avatar, easily changing its moods.
