Factors Influencing COVID-19 Preventive Behaviors in Nursing Students: Focusing on Health Belief Model (간호대학생의 코로나-19 예방 행위에 영향을 미치는요인: 건강 신념 모델에 집중)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship between nursing students' COVID-19-related knowledge, perception of infection risk, and health beliefs and infection prevention behaviors, and to identify the factors influencing COVID-19 prevention behaviors, and to provide the necessary basic data for the preparation of measures to improve the infection prevention behaviors of nursing students. Data were collected from 161 nursing students 4th in G city. Data analysis was analyzed by descriptive statistics, Independant t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis using the SPSS 21.0 program.. AS a result of this study, Preventive Behaviors was found to have significant positive correlations with COVID-19 Risk Perception(r=.217, p=.006), Health Belief Model of Perceived benefit(r=.206, p=.009) and negative correlations with Perceived barriers(r=-.219, p=.005). The most influential factors the Preventive Behaviors of nursing students were the Perceived benefit (β=.17, p<.001), mental health status after COVID-19(β=.188, p=.014), and these factors explained 58% in Preventive Behaviors(F=9.686, p=.000). In conclusion, it is expected that nursing students' health belief promotion programs, infection-related curriculum, and emotional support programs can be developed and applied to improve the degree of infection prevention behaviors.

Atmospheric Dispersion of Radioactive Material according to the Local Wind Patterns around the Kori Nuclear Power Plant using WRF/HYSPLIT Model (WRF/HYSPLIT 모델을 이용한 고리원전 인근 국지바람 패턴에 따른 방사성물질 대기확산 특성)

  • The characteristics of atmospheric dispersion of radioactive material (i.e. $^{137}Cs$) related to local wind patterns around the Kori nuclear power plant (KNPP) were studied using WRF/HYSPLIT model. The cluster analysis using observed winds from 28 weather stations during a year (2012) was performed in order to obtain representative local wind patterns. The cluster analysis identified eight local wind patterns (P1, P2, P3, P4-1, P4-2, P4-3, P4-4, P4-5) over the KNPP region. P1, P2 and P3 accounted for 14.5%, 27.0% and 14.5%, respectively. Both P1 and P2 are related to westerly/northwesterly synoptic flows in winter and P3 includes the Changma or typhoons days. The simulations of P1, P2 and P3 with high wind velocities and constant wind directions show that $^{137}Cs$ emitted from the KNPP during 0900~1400 LST (Local Standard Time) are dispersed to the east sea, southeast sea and southwestern inland, respectively. On the other hands, 5 sub-category of P4 have various local wind distributions under weak synoptic forcing and accounted for less than 10% of all. While the simulated $^{137}Cs$ for P4-2 is dispersed to southwest inland due to northeasterly flows, $^{137}Cs$ dispersed northward for the other patterns. The simulated average 137Cs concentrations of each local wind pattern are $564.1{\sim}1076.3Bqm^{-3}$. The highest average concentration appeared P4-4 due to dispersion in a narrow zone and weak wind environment. On the other hands, the lowest average concentration appeared P1 and P2 due to rapid dispersion to the sea. The simulated $^{137}Cs$ concentrations and dispersion locations of each local wind pattern are different according to the local wind conditions.

  • Geant4 (GEometry ANd Tracking) provides various packages specialized in modeling electromagnetic interactions. The validation of Geant4 physics models is a significant issue for the applications of Geant4 based simulation in medical physics. The purpose of this study is to evaluate accuracy of Geant4 electromagnetic physics for proton therapy. The validation was performed both the Continuous slowing down approximation (CSDA) range and the stopping power. In each test, the reliability of the electromagnetic models in a selected group of materials was evaluated such as water, bone, adipose tissue and various atomic elements. Results of Geant4 simulation were compared with the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) reference data. As results of comparison about water, bone and adipose tissue, average percent difference of CSDA range were presented 1.0%, 1.4% and 1.4%, respectively. Average percent difference of stopping power were presented 0.7%, 1.0% and 1.3%, respectively. The data were analyzed through the kolmogorov-smirnov Goodness-of-Fit statistical analysis test. All the results from electromagnetic models showed a good agreement with the reference data, where all the corresponding p-values are higher than the confidence level $\alpha=0.05$ set.

고속로 벤치마크 임계실험의 2차원 상세해석

  • 고속로 검증실험의 2차원 상세해석을 MATXS형 라이브러리와 TWODANT를 이용하여 수행하였다. 80군자료를 2차원 coarse mesh 계산으로 생산된 중성자속을 가중함수로하여 25군으로 축약하고, P$_3$S$_{8}$, 2차원 R-Z모델로 임계도 및 중심반응률비를 계산하여 실험값과 비교하였다. 이 과정에서 ENDF/B-VI$_3$, JEF-2.2 그리고 JENDL-3.2 라이브러리를 상호 비교, 검토하였다.

A Study on the PN code Acquisition for DS-CDMA System under Nakagami-m Fading (나카가미-m 페이딩을 고려한 DS-CDMA 시스템의 PN 부호 획득에 관한 연구)

  • In this paper, we are considered Nakagami-m fading, which can model variable multipath mobile radio communication channel, in DS-CDMA system. System modeling using nakagami -m fading is suited for urban mobile communication channel with multipath. We used adaptive serial search PN code acquisition scheme and derived the detection probability($P_D$) and false alarm probability($P_FA$) which have influence on code acquisition time, over Nakagami-m fading. Detection probability($P_D$) and false alarm probability($P_FA$) are detection variable to decide PN code acquisition time and should use to calculate mean and variance. of acquisition time. From computer simulation, we analyzed mean and variance about PN code acquisition of fading channel. Then we can apply it to the H/W design of mobile communication.

Application of QUAL2E Model to Water Quality Prediction of the Nam river (남강의 수질예측을 위한 QUAL2E 모델 적용)

  • This research was conducted to apply the QUAL2E model to be adopted to the Nam river under current water quality conditions. The survey area of total 60 Km was divided into five reaches. Each reach was then subdivided into the uniform computational elements of 1.5 Km. Based on the stream characteristics, nine sampling stations consisting of six at main streams and three at tributaries were selected. The field data were obtained from the selected stations twice during October of 1991 and May of 1992, which represented the cold weather and low flow, also the warm weather and low flow conditions, respectively. As the results of sensitivity analysis of the model, the important parameters were the rates of BOD decay, Org-N oxidation, $NH_3-N$ oxidation, Org-P decay. The calibrated and verified results by QUAL2E model were correlation coefficient of $0.45{\sim}0.94$. The results displayed a good agreement between the variables of the field measurements and the model simulations, indicating a potential use of the QUAL2E model for the water quality assessment in the Nam River.

Anti-obesity Effects of Ethanolic Extract of Polygonatum sibiricum Rhizome in High-fat Diet-fed Mice (고지방식이로 비만이 유도된 마우스에서 황정 주정 추출물의 항비만 효과)

  • We investigated the anti-obesity effects of ethanolic extract (ID1216) of Polygonatum sibiricum rhizome and its potential underlying mechanism in an animal model. ID1216 treatment decreased body weight gain and white adipose tissue weight in the prevention study. The mRNA levels of sirtuin-1 (SIRT1), peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor ${\gamma}$ coactivator-$1{\alpha}$ ($PGC1{\alpha}$), and peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor ${\alpha}$ ($PPAR{\alpha}$) significantly increased in the epididymal white adipose tissue of ID1216-administered mice. The stimulation effects of ID1216 on these gene expressions were also observed in a cell-based assay using differentiated 3T3-L1 adipocytes. In addition, similar to orlistat, ID1216 treatment improved weight gain and reduced epididymal fat in the treatment model. These results suggest that ID1216 has potential as an anti-obesity agent by modulating the expression of genes related to thermogenesis, lipid metabolism and fatty acid oxidation.

Effect of Transglutaminase, Acorn, and Mungbean Powder on Quality Characteristics of Low-fat/salt Pork Model Sausages (Transglutaminase와 도토리 및 녹두 가루 첨가가 저지방/저염 돈육 모델소시지의 품질에 미치는 영향)

  • Low-fat pork sausages (LFPS) were prepared with 1% transglutaminase (TG) and 0.5% sodium caseinate (SC), and with or without different type of hydrocolloids (0.3%; acorn, AC or mungbean, MB) to evaluate the effects of these ingredients on the physicochemical and textural properties of LFPS with reduced salt. pH, moisture content (%) and lightness of low-fat/salt pork sausages (LFSPS) were affected by the addition of TG combined with SC (TG-SC) and acorn or mungbean powders affected the lightness and yellowness of LFSPS. However, cooking yield of LFSPS decreased, while textural properties were increased with the addition of TG-SC combination, which did not affect expressible moisture contents (%) of LFSPS. Both AC and MB tended to improve the cooking yield and water holding capacity of LFSPS, especially, MB rather than AC. However, these had no effect on the textural properties of LFSPS, except for textural chewiness. These results indicated that AC and MB powders could be used as a water binding agent in TG-SC combination of LFSPS.

Crustal Structure of the Korean Peninsula from Broadband Teleseismic Records by Using Receiver Function (광대역 원격지진의 수신함수를 이용한 한반도 지각구조)

  • Broadband receiver functions are developed from teleseismic P waveforms recorded at Wonju (KSRS), Inchon (IRIS), and Pohang (PHN), and are analyzed to examine the crustal structure beneath the three stations. The teleseismic receiver functions are inverted in the time domain to the vertical P wave velocity structure beneath the stations. Clear P-to-S converted phases from the Moho interface are observed in teleseismic seismograms recorded at the three stations. We estimated the crustal velocity structures beneath the stations using the receiver function inversion. The general features of inversion results are as follows: (1) For Pohang station, there is a high velocity gradient at a 4~5 km deep for SE and NW back azimuth and a low velocity zone at around 10 km deep. The Moho depth is 28 km for NW direction. (2) The shallow crustal structure beneath Wonju station is somewhat complex and there is a high-velocity zone ($V_p{\simeq}6.8km/sec$) at 3 to 4 km deep. The average crustal thickness is 33 km, and a transition zone exists at a 30~33 km deep of lower crust, of which velocity is abruptly changed 6.4 to 7.9 km/sec. (3) For Inchon station, the crustal velocity gradient monotonously increases up to the Moho discontinuity and the velocity is abruptly changed from 6.2 km/sec to 7.9 km/sec at 29 km deep.

  • 농업 비점오염원의 영향을 분석하고 여러 가지 대안(관리정책)이 수계의 수질에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위해서 유역모형의 적용이 필요하다. 이러한 유역모형에는 모형의 복합성, 계산시간 등에 따라 simple method, mid-range model, detail model로 나눌 수 있다. Simple methods는 요구되는 자료가 작으나 그 결과의 정확성은 떨어진다. 반면에 detail model는 정확한 결과를 획득할 수 있으나 그만큼 방대한 자료와 모니터링을 요구하며, 보정 및 검증에 많은 시간과 노력을 필요로 한다. 특히, 복잡한 유역특성 및 축산오염원을 포함한 복잡한 특성들을 고려해서 모델링하기 위해서는 detail model이 필요하며 본 연구에서는 HSPF모델을 이용해서 그 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 농업에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위해서 청미천 유역 및 덕천천 유역을 대상유역으로 선정하여 그 영향을 분석하였다. 농업에 미치는 영향을 평가하기 위해서 유역내 투입된 비료사용량을 통계청 자료를 활용하여 산정후 적용하였으며, 축산 부산물중 자원화되는 축산 액비 및 퇴비량을 산정하여 그 영향에 대해 분석하였다. 또한 기존에 광범위하게 활용되고 있는 수질오염총량관리제도에서 산정되는 배출부하량에 유달율을 고려하여 점오염으로 입력하였으며, 직접방류되는 하수처리장도 함게 고려하여 구축하였다. 청미천 유역의 청미천1 지점의 BOD, T-N, T-P에 대한 보정기간의 평균 관측값은 4.205mg/L, 3.844mg/L, 0.137mg/L이며 검정기간의 관측값은 2.741mg/L, 4.638mg/L, 0.144mg/L로 나타났다. BOD, T-N, T-P에 대한 보정기간의 NSE는 -0.58, -0.20, -0.33이며, 검정기간의 NSE는 -0.26, -1.35, -3.54로 분석되었다. BOD, T-N, T-P에 대한 보정기간의 RMSE는 2.65, 1.63, 0.12이며, 검정기간의 RMSE는 1.36, 1.64, 0.07로 나타났다. 덕천천 유역의 경우 국가관측망이 없어 동진강의 제일 말단 지점인 동진강3 지점의 BOD, T-N, T-P에 대한 보정기간 평균관측값은 2.891mg/L, 3.455mg/L, 0.096mg/L이며, 검정기간의 관측값은 2.293mg/L, 3.223mg/L, 0.104mg/L로 나타났다. BOD, T-N, T-P에 대한 보정기간의 NSE는 -0.20, -0.56, -0.49이며, 검정기간의 NSE는 0.24, -0.06, -0.19으로 분석되었다. BOD, T-N, T-P에 대한 보정기간의 RMSE는 1.53, 2.12, 0.05이며, 검정기간의 RMSE는 1.05, 0.98, 0.06으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 분석결과는 점오염원, 축산계비점오염, 토지계비점오염, 시비량, 배경부하로 구분하여 분석을 실시하였으며 분석결과 청미천 유역의 비점오염 기여율이 약 65%를 차지하고 있는 것으로 평가되었으며, 덕천천 말단에서는 약 37.7%의 비점오염물질이 하천수질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 기존 수질오염 총량관리제도에서 점오염의 감소에 의한 비점오염비중이 커지는 것으로 평가되었으며, 그 중 축산이 차지하는 비중이 상대적으로 높은 것으로 평가되고 있지만, 본 연구의 결과에서는 그보다 적은 수준이 수계에 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다.
