As a result of visual acuity test of school children, the visual acuity is better girls than and more elder than younger. The Hyperopia of the Above ten aged children is decreased in boys rather than girls and Especially for who have +0.75Dt and below. The visual acuity of Ampetropia is 0.77 in +0.75 Dt and belows, 0.50 in +1.00 Dt and 0.33 in 3.00 Dt. Myopia is increased as age. Possibility of having Myopia is bigger for females than for males. Especially the -0.15 Dt and below in males and from -1.000t Dt -1.75 Dt in Females are easy to have it. The Ampetropia of the visual acuity is 0.67 in -0.75Dt and below, 0.38 in -1.00Dt, 0,28 in -2.00Dt and 0.20 in -3.00 Dt.
The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of cryopreservation on dental pulp-derived stem cells (DPSC) viability over a period of three years. Dental pulp-derived stem cells were isolated and cultured from thirty-one healthy teeth. DPSC isolates were assessed for doubling-time and baseline viability prior to cryopreservation and were assessed again at three time points; one week (T1), 18 months (T2), and 36 months (T3). DPSC can be grouped based on their observed doubling times; slow (sDT), intermediate (iDT), and rapid (rDT). Viability results demonstrated all three types of DPSC isolates (sDT, iDT and rDT) exhibit time-dependent reductions in viability following cryopreservation, with the greatest reduction observed among sDT-DPSCs and the smallest observed among the rDT-DPSC isolates. Cryopreserved DPSCs demonstrate time-dependent reductions in cellular viability. Although reductions in viability were smallest at the initial time point (T1) and greatest at the final time point (T3), these changes were markedly different among DPSC isolates with similar doubling times (DTs). Furthermore, the analysis of various DPSC biomarkers - including both intracellular and cell surface markers, revealed differential mRNA expression. More specifically, the relative high expression of Sox-2 was only found only among the rDT isolates, which was associated with the smallest reduction in viability over time. The expression of Oct4 and NANOG were also higher among rDT isolates, however, expression was comparatively lower among the sDT isolates that had the highest reduction in cellular viability over the course of this study. These data may suggest that some biomarkers, including Sox-2, Oct4 and NANOG may have some potential for use as biomarkers that may be associated with either higher or lower cellular viability over long-term storage applications although more research will be needed to confirm these findings.
Data Technology (DT) is a new technology which deals with data collection, data analysis, information generation from data, knowledge generation from modelling and future prediction. DT is a newly emerged interdisciplinary science & technology in this 21st century knowledge society. Even though the main body of DT is applied statistics, it also contains management information system (MIS), quality management, process system analysis and so on. Therefore, it is an interdisciplinary science and technology of statistics, management science, industrial engineering, computer science and social science. In this paper, first of all, the definition of DT is given, and then the effects and the basic properties of DT, the differences between IT and DT, the 6 step process for DT application, and a DT example are provided. Finally, the relationship among DT, e-Statistics and Data Mining is explained, and the direction of DT development is proposed.
To research the refractive error of the eyes on the 30's employees, 510 eyes were tested by the object and subject methods. The results were as follows. 1. Among the 510 eyes, myopia is 74.4%, hyperopia is 0.9% and emmetropia is 24.7%, respectively. 2. In test, the low myopia (-0.50Dt < Spherical Equivalent ${\leq}$ -2.00Dt) is 24.1%, the middle myopia(-2.00Dt < Spherical Equivalent ${\leq}$ -6.00Dt) is 51.4%, the high myopia(-6.00Dt < Spherical Equivalent) is 14.8% and the low hyperopia(+0.50Dt < Spherical Equivalent ${\leq}$ +2.00Dt) is 1.2%, respectively. 3. In test of astigmatism, the amount of astigmatism with-the rule is 58.5%, the amount of astigmatism against-the rule is 22.6% and the amount of astigmatism with oblique is 18.9%, respectively.
Aim: To investigate the effects of diallyl trisulfide (DT) on apoptosis of cisplatin (DDP)-resistant human epithelial ovarian cancer SKOV-3 cells (SKOV-3/DDP), and the role of p53 upregulated modulator of apoptosis (PUMA). Methods: SKOV-3/DDP cells were randomly divided into control, DT, DPP and DPP+DT groups, which were treated with DT or combined DT and DDP. All cells were incubated for 48 h. and apoptosis rates were assessed by flow cytometry. mRNA and protein expression of PUMA, Bax and Bcl-2 was determined by RT-PCR and Western blot assays, respectively. Results: Compared with control group, the apoptosis rates of SKOV-3/DDP cells in DT groups were obviously increased, with dose-dependence (P < 0.05), the mRNA and protein expressions of PUMA, Bax also being up-regulated (P < 0.05), while those of Bcl-2 were down-regulated (P < 0.05). Compared with DT groups, the apoptosis rate in the DDP+DT group was significantly increased (P < 0.05). After knockdown of PUMA with specific siRNA, the apoptosis rate of SKOV-3/DDP cells was obviously decreased (P < 0.05). Conclusion: DT can promote the apoptosis of SKOV-3/DDP cells with PUMA playing a critical role.
In order to investigate on the field performance of 3.5PS power tiller and to obtain the optimum using conditions of it, this experiment has been carried on the plowing operation, the rotary harrowing operation and the ridging operation that compared 3.5PS power tiller(KC-450) with the existing 5PS(DT-40) and 8PS(DT-85) power tiller. It has been performed at Suck Jung-Dong, Ansung Country, from March to October in 1980. The results of this field test were obtained as follows; 1. The plowing performance of KC-450 tiller was found to be 125min/10a that was lower than that of DT-85 tiller by 26min/10a in the effective plowing speed 0.9m/sec. 2. The field efficiency of KC-450 tiller was the highest among the power tillers as to be 82 persent that was higher than that of DT-85 tiller by 5 persent in the effective plowing speed 1m/sec. 3. The rotary harrowing performances of DT-40 tiller and DT-85 tiller were higher than that of KC-450 tiller in the rotary harrowing operation of the same speed, and the field efficiency of KC-450 tiller and DT-40 tiller were higher than that of DT-85 tiller in the rotary harrowing operation. 4. The ridging Performance of testing power tillers were nearly equality in the ridging operation of the same speed, and the field efficiency of testing tillers were higher KC-450 tiller than DT-40 tiller, DT-40 tiller than DT-85 tiller. 5. The work performance of power tiller increased with increase in the size of field area. Work performance and field efficiency of KC-450 tiller were higher than other tillers below 8a in field size 6. DT -85 tiller was more useful in deep plowing depth. But below 8a in field size KC-450 tiller was more easily operated and its field efficiency was higher 7. KC-450 tiller should be more useful to operate in the small size field or in the small scale farming and for the cultivation of vegetables, gardening plants, medicinal herb and tobacco plants, or for the cultivation in vinyl house.

The purpose of this study is the construction and internal validation of DT ISD model that incorporates Design Thinking process into Instructional Systems Design. The study proceeded in 3 steps. Firstly, literature review was conducted to examine the process and components of Instructional Systems Design model such as ADDIE. Design Thinking models were also reviewed to determine the probability of integrating Design Thinking with ISD. Secondly, DT ISD model was constructed by adopting 3 principles of Design Thinking to ISD process. Thirdly, the internal validation research was conducted through 3 rounds delphi study and DT ISD model was finally validated by experts of instructional technology and lifelong education. DT ISD model is based upon constructionism in learning theory rather than behavioral or cognitive learning theory such as ADDIE. Hence, DT ISD model is an effective instructional design model for adult lifelong education program. It is suggested that action research is necessary to examine the external validation of DT ISD model.
Orthostatic hypotension (OH) is defined by a 20-mm Hg difference of systolic blood pressure (dtSBP) and/or a 10-mm Hg difference of diastolic blood pressure (dtDBP) between supine and standing, and OH is associated with a failure of the cardiovascular reflex to maintain blood pressure on standing from a supine position. To understand the underlying genetic factors for OH traits (OH, dtSBP, and dtDBP), genome-wide association studies (GWASs) using 333,651 single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) were conducted separately for two population-based cohorts, Ansung (n = 3,173) and Ansan (n = 3,255). We identified 8 SNPs (5 SNPs for dtSBP and 3 SNPs for dtDBP) that were repeatedly associated in both the Ansung and Ansan cohorts and had p-values of < $1{\times}10^{-5}$ in the meta-analysis. Unfortunately, the SNPs of the OH case control GWAS did not pass our p-value criteria. Four of 8 SNPs were located in the intergenic region of chromosome 2, and the nearest gene (CTNNA2) was located at 1 Mb of distance. CTNNA2 is a linker between cadherin adhesion receptors and the actin cytoskeleton and is essential for stabilizing dendritic spines in rodent hippocampal neurons. Although there is no report about the function in blood pressure regulation, hippocampal neurons interact primarily with the autonomic nervous system and might be related to OH. The remaining SNPs, rs7098785 of dtSBP trait and rs6892553, rs16887217, and rs4959677 of dtDBP trait were located in the PIK3AP1 intron, ACTBL2-3' flanking, STAR intron, and intergenic region, respectively, but there was no clear functional link to blood pressure regulation.

Bridges using double-tee (DT) girders from 12 m to 15 m are one of the good choices to improve accessibility in rural areas of the Mekong River Delta. In this study, nonlinear finite element method (FEM) analysis was conducted with different constitutive laws of materials. The FEM analysis results were compared to experimental results to confirm the applicability of the constitutive laws of materials for DT girders. A parametric study through FEM analysis was then conducted to investigate the effect of span lengths, top flange depths, and a number of prestressing tendons on the capacity of DT girders in order that propose DT girders for rural bridges. Parametric results showed that the top flange depth of a DT girder for rural bridges could be 120 mm. The DT girder with a span length of 12 m or 13 m could be used 16 tendons, while the DT girder with a span length of 14 m or 15 m could be set up with 20 tendons. The prestressed concrete DT girders based on FEM results can be suggested for the construction of rural bridges.

In this paper, we propose 3DTE(3-Dimensional Transform Environment) that is based on 3DT(Dimensional Transform) that performs 2-dimensional integer DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform) based on $4{\times}4$ block and 1-dimensional integer DCT based on $4{\times}1$ block after collecting same frequency coefficients in neighboring $4{\times}4$ block and supports it's additional coding tools for high performance. The transform of 3DT can keep prediction error by using $4{\times}4$ block and reduce spatial redundancy additionally. The proposed 3DTE can provide coding tools to improve the coding efficiency with using 3DT. The performance of 3DTE compared to JM11.0 is average 3.58% and 5.40% bit savings for all test sequences and HD sequences, respectively, with keeping subjective video quality in High profile.
