보중익기탕 변증설문지와 위전도의 상관성 연구 (Co-relation between Questionnaire for Buzhongyiqi-Tang and Electrogastrography)

  • Background : Currently, as a method of standardization of prescription, questionnaire for Buzhongyiqi-Tang[補中益氣湯] was developed, and which is a Objectives : The purpose of this thesis is to testify whether differentiation of Lao Juan Shang[勞倦傷] etiology is relative to mobility of gastric smooth muscle. Methods : The subjects(20 to 65 years old; 14 males, 46 females) were isolated from drinking alcohols for 24 hours before the experiment, and fasted for 8 hours, and measured for electrogastrography(EGG) and they filled out Questionnaire for Buzhongyiqi-Tang. Results : 1. Six factors from the factor analysis of Questionnaire for Buzhongyiqi -Tang were named and classified as Spleen-Qi deficiency syndrome factor [脾虛] (factor 1), Lung-Qi deficiency syndrome factor [肺虛] (factor 2), Working factor [習慣] (factor 3), Yin-Fire factor [陰火] (factor 4), Jung-Qi deficiency syndrome factor [中氣虛] (factor 5), and Stomach-Qi deficiency syndrome factor [胃虛] (factor 6). 2. As for the reliability of Questionnaire for Buzhongyiqi-Tang, we used Cronbach's alpha coefficient. Cronbach's alpha coefficient was 0.772 for the mean of the item-total. 3. Lung-Qi deficiency syndrome factor(factor2) had significant correlation with Bradygastria Time (r=-0.312, p<0.05). 4. Working factor(factor3) had significant correlation with Bradygastria Time (r=-0.329, p<0.05). 5. Yin-Fire factor(factor4) had significant correlation with Power Ratio (r=-0.328, p<0.05). Conclusions : It is shown that Bradygastria Time and Power Ratio tended to decrease against postprandial DP increased and postprandial frequency decreased in normal case.

LPS에 의해 유도된 인지기능 손상모델에 대한 천마 추출물의 방어효과 (Protective Effect of Gatrodiae Rhizoma Extracts on the LPS-Induced Cognitive Impairment Model)

  • Objectives: Gastrodia elata (GE) has been used to treat cognition impairment, including Alzheimer's disease (AD) in Korea. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of GE water extracts (GEE) on the lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-induced AD model in mice. (Aβ). Methods: We classified six groups as follow; group 1: control (CON), group 2: LPS (0.5 mg/kg/day, four times), group 3: 4 mg/kg donepezil (DP), group 4: 100 mg/kg GEE+LPS, group 5: 200 mg/kg GEE+LPS, group 6: 500 mg/kg GEE+LPS. Results: We found that GEE has an effect that inhibits decrease of discrimination index in object recognition test, as well as spontaneous alteration in the Y-maze test by LPS. Treatment with LPS increased amlyloid-β (Aβ) concentration, and decreased brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) in cerebral cortex of mice. However, GEE significantly protected against LPS-induced Aβ and BDNF changes. Our findings also showed that the inflammatory cytokines [tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), interleukin-6 (IL-6) and interleukin-1β (IL-1β)] mRNA and protein were up-regulated by the LPS injection. But GEE significantly suppressed LPS-induced inflammatory cytokines increase in a dose-dependent manner. Conclusions: This study suggests that the GEE may be an effective AD therapeutic agent, in treating neurodegenerative diseases including AD.

미성숙 매복지치의 치낭, 치수, 치근유두 조직에서 다능성 줄기세포의 분리와 특성화에 대한 연구 (Isolation and characterization of human dental tissue-derived stem cells in the impacted wisdom teeth: comparison of dental follicle, dental pulp, and root apical papilla-derived cells)

  • Introduction: The first aim of this study was to isolate the dental tissue-derived stem cells from the dental follicle (DF), dental pulp (DP), and root apical papilla (RAP) of the extracted wisdom teeth. Second was to evaluate their characterization with the expressions of transcription factors and cell surface markers. Finally, their ability of the in vitro multi-lineage differentiations into osteogenic and adipogenic cells were compared, respectively. Materials and Methods: Dental tissues, including dental follicle, dental pulp, and root apical papilla, were separated in the extracted wisdom teeth. These three dental tissues were cultured in Dulbecco’s modified Eagle’s medium (DMEM) with supplements, respectively. After passage 3, the homogeneous shaped dental tissue-derived cells were analyzed the expression of transcription factors (Oct-4, Nanog and Sox-2) and cell surface markers (CD44, CD90 and CD105) with reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and fluorescence-activated cell sorting (FACS) analysis. In order to evaluate in vitro multi-lineage differentiations, the culture media were changed to the osteogenic and adipogenic induction mediums when the dental tissue-derived cells reached to passage 3. The characteristics of these three dental tissue-derived cells were compared with immunohistochemistry. Results: During primary culture, heterogenous and colony formatted dental tissue-derived cells were observed in the culture plates. After passage 2 or 3, homogenous spindle-like cells were observed in all culture plates. Transcription factors and mesenchymal stem cell markers were positively observed in all three types of dental tissue-derived cells. However, the quantity of expressed transcription factors was most large in RAP-derived cells. In all three types of dental tissue-derived cells, osteogenic and adipogenic differentiations were observed after treatment of specific induction media. In vitro adipogenic differentiation was similar among these three types of cells. In vitro osteogenic differentiation was most strongly and frequently observed in the RAP-derived cells, whereas rarely osteogenic differentiation was observed in the DP-derived cells. Conclusion: These findings suggest that three types of human dental tissue-derived cells from extracted wisdom teeth were multipotent mesenchymal stem cells, have the properties of multi-lineage differentiations. Especially, stem cells from root apical papilla (SCAP) have much advantage in osteogenic differentiation, whereas dental follicle cells (DFCs) have a characteristic of easy adipogenic differentiation.

한국인 자연치의 색에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Color of Korean Natural Teeth)

  • The purpose of this investigation was to analyze the color of natural teeth by means of the OFC-1001 DP colorimeter which could measure in Adams Coordinate System (L,a,b system). The subjects were the 164 persons (82 men and 82 women) ranged from the teen to the sixtieth who had come to infirmary of dental college, Chosun University. The colors of incisal third, middle third and cervical third of maxillary right incisor, maxillary right canine and maxillary right second premolar were examined after the teeth were cleaned, polished and dried. The data were analyzed statistically by means of SPSS (Statistical Package For the Social Science). The results were as follows. 1. The means of L(lightness), a (red chromaticity), b (yellow chromaticity) of all teeth were measured (Table 2,3,4). 2. The color of teeth was yellowish-gray or bluish-gray. 3. The L value and b value of the cervical third was greater than those of the incisal and middle third. 4. The L value of maxillary 2nd premolar was greater than those of maxillary incisor md maxillay canine. 5. The a & b values of maxillary canine were greater than those of maxillary incisor and maxillary 2nd premolar. 6. The average values of L,a,b of teeth between male and female were not significant. 7. The L values of teeth were decreasing and the b values of teeth were increasing as the age was increased, but there was no corelation between the a values and aging.

농도의 기층 및 보조기층 공법연구 -노상 및 시멘트 안정 처리층의 Mr 특성을 중심으로- (Study on the Base and Subbase Method of Agricultural Road -On the Resilient Modulus Characteristics of the Subgrade and Cement Treated Base-)

  • The characteristics of resilient modulus(Mr) which dominates the life of pavement and the design of pavement were investigated on the test specimens which were cement treated and non-treated of the three different soil types. The results are summarized as follows : 1. The resilient modulus was decreased by increasing the cyclic deviator stress ($\sigma$d) , especially the resilient modulus was gradually decreased or sometimes increased when the value of ad was greater than 0.75- 1. 0kg/cm$^2$. 2. The resilient modulus was increased by increasing the homogeneous confined stress ($\sigma$do) and such phenomena were distinct on the coarse soils. 3. The resilient modulus was increased by increasing the ratio of confined stress(Kc), and this phenomena were eminent on the coarse soils too, and the higher permanent strain was showed by increasing the value of Kc. 4. In the drained cyclic triaxial compression test, the value of ad, Kc, and (Oho) was introduced by the following interrelated equations which were similar to the Mr model of Cole. Kcn/Mr=K1(J$_2$/ $\tau$oct)K2 ............. (coarse soli) Mcn/Mr=K3($\sigma$dp/ $\tau$f)k4 ...............(fine soils) 5. The stress path was not much affected by the value of Mr, however, moisture content, dry desity, and contant of fines affected the value of Mr. 6. In the soil-cement specimens, the resilient compression strain($\varepsilon$d) was decreased by the increment of the $\sigma$ho, and Mr was decreased by increasing the $\sigma$d 7. In the flexible pavement. the cement treated layer should be designed not to fail by the fatigue before the designed traffic load, and actually the pavement could cover the traffic load to a certain extent under the post-crack phase, therefore farther studies on this phenomena' are required in the design analysis. 8. The finite element computer program (ANALYS) was used for displacement analysis of pavement containing the cement-treated layer, The result showed that the program used for this analysis was proved to be usable.

  • 연소압 50bar 이상의 연소조건에서 반복 사용이 가능하도록 제작된 물냉각형 칼로리미터에서 막냉각량 및 작동점의 변화 시 열유속의 특성을 알아보았다. 분사기 헤드와 칼로리미터 사이에 12개의 오리피스를 갖는 막냉각 링이 삽입된다. 칼로리미터는 연소실부와 노즐부로 구성되어 있으며, 총 19개의 냉각 채널로 구성되어 있다. 설계점 연소시험 시 막냉각량이 주 연료의 10.5% 유량일 때, 막냉각량이 없는 경우보다 노즐목에서의 최대 열유속은 약 30% 감소되었고, 막냉각량이 없는 경우, 탈설계점(OD3)이 설계점에 비해 노즐목에서의 최대 열유속이 약 31% 증가 하였다.

  • 산가수분해법과 칼럼크로마토그라피법을 이용하여 레반 올리고당과 저분자량 레반을 생산하였다. 레반에 대한 산가수분해반응은 시간의존적으로 비례적으로 진행되었으며, 다른 미생물 유래의 레반을 사용시에도 동일한 결과를 나타내었다. 레반 올리고당의 제조를 위한 최적화된 조건은 5% 레반을 0.38 M 황산, 95$^{\circ}C$, 4분간 처리하였을 때였으며, 최종생산물로 중합도 3-6의 레반 올리고당을 얻었다. 생성된 레반을 올리고당을 탄소 원으로 이용하여 두 젖산 생성균주(Lactobacillus plantaurm KCTC 3104와 Pedioccccus pentosaceus KCTC3507)의 생장배지에 첨가하고 레반 자체를 첨가한 배지와 비교시, 뚜렷한 생육촉진효과와 pH 감소효과가 나타났다.

Carcass and body organ characteristics of broilers supplemented with dietary sodium and sodium salts under a phase feeding system

  • The effect of sodium and sodium salts on carcass and body organ characteristics of broilers under a four phase feeding program were investigated. A basal diet (0.08% dNa with NaCl) was formulated and one of two sources of dNa ($NaHCO_3$ and $Na_2SO_4$) were supplemented to obtain four different percentages of dNa (0.17, 0.26, 0.35, and 0.44%) for each treatment. There was a linear decrease in dressing percentage (DP) with source ${\times}$ level interaction ($p{\leq}0.001$), while there was a linear increase in breast yield and thigh yield with increasing dNa supplementation ($p{\leq}0.001$). Chicks fed 0.35% $NaHCO_3$ and 0.44% dNa $Na_2SO_4$ supplemental salts had lower abdominal fat ($p{\leq}0.04$). Chicks that received increasing levels of dNa (from 0.17 to 0.44%) showed increasing gizzard weight ($p{\leq}0.02$) and decreasing spleen weight ($p{\leq}0.02$). When both salts were supplemented at 0.26% dNa, the chicks showed their lowest bursa weight ($p{\leq}0.001$). Consequently, chicks at higher dNa showed an increase in breast and thigh meat yield, and increasing capacity of their digestive organ. The higher levels of dNa should be tested with other cations and anions to fully understand acid base homoeostasis.

열수 가용성 쌀 전분의 구조와 전분의 구조 및 밥의 텍스쳐와의 관련성 (Structure of Hot-Water Soluble Rice Starch in Relation to the Structure of Rice Starch and Texture of Cooked Rice)

  • 밥의 텍스쳐에 대한 일련의 연구에서 식미와 관련성이 있는 열수 가용성 쌀 전분에 대하여 분자 구조적 측면에서 그 관련성을 구명하고자 하였다. 열수 가용성 쌀 전분의 분자 구조는 분자 크기가 작은 아밀로오스와 평균 사슬길이 $10{\sim}20$ 글루코오스 단위로 된 아밀로펙틴이 7 : 3 정도로 결합하고 있었다. 열수 가용성 쌀 전분의 용출율은 아밀로오스의 분자 크기가 작을수록, 아밀로펙틴의 초장쇄가 적을수록 높았으며, 전분의 열수 가용화는 전분의 분자 구조와 밀접한 관계가 있었다. 또한, 밥의 텍스쳐는 열수 가용성 쌀 전분의 용출율이 높을수록 경도는 낮고, 부착성은 높았다. 이러한 결과들로 볼때, 밥의 텍스쳐는 쌀 전분의 분자 구조와 밀접한 관계가 있음을 알 수 있었으며 전분의 열수 가용화 되는 성질은 쌀의 식미 평가 지표로서의 가능성이 시사되었다.

평행 결합 Mushroom 구조를 이용한 대역 통과 여파기의 고조파 성분 억제 (Suppression of Harmonic Passband of Bandpass Filters(BPFs) Using Parallel-Coupled Mushroom Structure)

  • 본 논문에서는 평행 결합 버섯 구조를 이용하여 대역 통과 필터의 고조파 성분을 제거하였다. Double positive(DPS)전송 선로인 마이크로스트립 라인과double negative(DNG)전송 선로인 버섯 구조 사이에서는 격리된 마이크로스트립 라인과 버섯 구조의 교차되는 분산 곡선 주파수 대역에서 강한 결합이 복소 전파 상수로 인해서 발생한다. 교차되는 분산 곡선 주파수에서 강한 결합으로 인하여 전파가 전파를 하지 못하기 때문에 이와 같은 구조는 대역 저지 필터로 이용할 수 있는 것이다. 제안된 대역 저지 필터는 공진기를 이용한 형태가 아니라 평행 결합 전송 선로를 이용하였기 때문에 넓은 대역폭을 가지고 DPS와 DNG 전송 선로 사이의 강한 결합으로 인해서 소형화에 유리하다는 장점을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 중심 주파수 4 GHz, 3 dB fractional 대역폭은 40%인 평행 결합 대역 저지 필터를 설계하였고, 이를 두 가지 종류의 대역 통과 필터의 고조파 모드를 억제하는데 이용하였다.
